SM21 log Lock triggered against multiple execution
Hi All,
Please refer to the log in SM21 XI. I have checked SM12 , no locks displayed. Please advise on how to analyze this log further.

Dear Shiva, dear Daniel,
the technical background for introducing this system log entry was to deal with parallel execution of one message. For details please refer to SAP Note 1147287.

Single Excise Invoice Posting against multiple Goods Receipt.
Hi,
We made a Purchase Order, say 4500000753, of 100 Qty,
The Vendor sent us the Material in two different Challans but in same date and two created two Material Documents,say 5000000772 & 5000000773 for Goods Receipt.
The Vendor sent us single Excise Invoice for both the Challans (goods receipt). Please advise how to post the Excise Invoice.
We tried to capture Invoice against Purchase Order, but the system is giving the following message:
Document 4500000753 does not contain any selectable items
My Queries / doublts
1. Is it possible to post excise document against multiple goods receipt documents.
2. In what case we excise posting against Purchase Order and what is configuration required.
3. Can we post excise invoice with two different Invoice Numbers like 123-A & 123-B
Please guide.
Regards,Hi Jeyakanthan,
Thanks for the reply.
I have gone thru the "Multiple Goods Receipts for a Single Excise Invoice " in Sap Help Documentation, what I have understood is that we can do multiple Goods Receipt against a Single Invoice. Here in this case we do the Goods Receipt against Purchase Order , do the Invoice Capture for first goods receipt againts Purchase Order and we enter the Invoice Number (say 745, sent by the Vendor) while capturing excise invoice. When the second shipment (against the same PO) comes, we do goods receipt and we refer the "Only Refer Excise Invoice" while doing the goods receipt. Finally after when we have entered all the shipments for the PO, we do the Excise Posting.
Here in our case we have already posted the Goods Receipt (without entering the Invoice Number in first goods receipt) and now we want to capture & post excise invoice for a Single Excise Invoice (Invoice No. say 745,).
Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
Here we have got two options:
a. Reverse all the goods receipt & re-enter the goods receipt .
b. post two separate excise invoice against each goods receipt mentioning dummy excise invoice number like 745-A & 745-B.
Option a seems difficulty as we will have to reverse all the subsequent goods receipt & transfer posting documents.
Option b seems legally wrong, as per understanding.
Request you to please advise.

Dear experts,
awrsqrpt.sql is showing multiple executions plans for a single SQL statement. How is it possible that one SQL statement will have multiple Executions Plans within the same AWR report.If you're using bind variables and you've histograms on your columns which can be created by default in 10g due to the "SIZE AUTO" default "method_opt" parameter of DBMS_STATS.GATHER__STATS it is quite normal that you get different execution plans for the same SQL statement. Depending on the values passed when the statement is hard parsed (this feature is called "bind variable peeking" and enabled by default since 9i) an execution plan is determined and re-used for all further executions of the same "shared" SQL statement.
If now your statement ages out of the shared pool or is invalidated due to some DDL or statistics gathering activity it will be re-parsed and again the values passed in that particular moment will determine the execution plan. If you have skewed data distribution and a histogram in place that reflects that skewness you might get different execution plans depending on the actual values used.
Since this "flip-flop" behaviour can sometimes be counter-productive if you're unlucky and the values used to hard parse the statement leading to a plan that is unsuitable for the majority of values used afterwards, 11g introduced the "adaptive" cursor sharing that attempts to detect such a situation and can automatically re-evaluate the execution plan of the statement.

Job not getting triggered for Multiple Scheduler Events
hi,
I would like a job to be triggered for multiple scheduler events, subscribing to a single event works fine. But, when I set multiple event condition, nothing works.
My objective is to run a job, whenever job starts or restarts or exceeds max run duration.
Note : Is it possible to trigger a job, when a job RESTARTS by subscribing to JOB_START ????????
procedure sniffer_proc(p_message in sys.scheduler$_event_info)
is
--Code
end sniffer_proc
dbms_scheduler.create_program(program_name => 'PROG',
program_action => 'sniffer_proc',
program_type => 'stored_procedure',
number_of_arguments => 1,
enabled => false);
-- Define the meta data on scheduler event to be passed.
dbms_scheduler.define_metadata_argument('PROG',
'event_message',1);
dbms_scheduler.enable('PROG');
dbms_scheduler.create_job
('JOB',
program_name => 'PROG',
* event_condition => 'tab.user_data.event_type = ''JOB_OVER_MAX_DUR''' ||*
*' or tab.user_data.event_type = ''JOB_START''',*
queue_spec => 'sys.scheduler$_event_queue,auagent',
enabled => true);
I tried this too...
dbms_scheduler.create_job
('JOB',
program_name => 'PROG',
* event_condition => 'tab.user_data.event_type = ''JOB_OVER_MAX_DUR''' ||*
*' and tab.user_data.event_type = ''JOB_START''',*

Edited by: user602200 on Dec 28, 2009 3:03 AMHi,
Here is complete code which I tested on 10.2.0.4 which shows a second job that runs after a first job starts and also when it has exceeded its max run duration. It doesn't have the condition but just runs on every event raised, but the job only raises the 2 events.
Hope this helps,
Ravi.

Validate a XML file against multiple schema files
Hello everybody!
How can I validate a XML file against multiple schema files?
I have the following XML file:

xmlns:xn="genericNrm.xsd"
xmlns="configData.xsd">

</xn:SubNetwork>
</xn:SubNetwork>
</configData>
<fileFooter dateTime="2006-11-24T11:56:07Z"/>
</bulkCmConfigDataFile>
I want to load this file into a table, validate it (against SpecificAttributes.3.0.xsd, genericNrm.xsd and configData.xsd) and query that table. How would the INSERT .. and the SELECT ... for userLabel attribute look like?
Many thanks!Hi Peter,
Please use the validateXML BPEL Property : This property validates incoming and outgoing XML documents. If set to true, the Oracle BPEL Process Manager applies schema validation for incoming and outgoing XML documents. This property is applicable to both durable and transient processes. The default value is false.

OEM12c Job - Run a SQL Script from a central location against multiple targets
Hi All:
I need to execute a SQL script that can be run as OEM Job against multiple targets from a single location so that the output csv files are all in that central location. My problem is that the sql script job documentation says "Make sure that the script file is installed in the appropriate location on all targets". Is anyone aware of a way I can do this so that the SQl script is executed from a location on my OMS console?
CheersHi
Create SQL job to run against on the server. Save those results (csv) file in local target. And crete one OS job, to collect all csv files into your OMS Console.

Query in Receipts application against multiple invoices
Hi,
There is a requirement to apply a single receipt against multiple invoices pertaining to different customers.For these customers ,relationship has been already set in the customer master.How to achieve the same?
Breifing: Inv.1 of Customer A.= $50
Inv.2 of Customer B= $100
Receipt1 for $150 to be applied against Inv.1 and Inv.2
Customer A and Customer B relationship set up already.
Regards,
Bala.Hi Bala,
Create a receipt with the customer from whom the money has been received and apply it to both the invoices by selecting the same in LOV.
Make sure that the "Bill To" type relationship has been created in the customer master for these two customers.

Is it possible to make MIRO against multiple documents???
Dear experts ,
Is it possible to make an invoice verification against multiple delivery notes / or multiple POs??
Pls let ma know
Thanks & regards
AnisHI,
It is possible with Multiple allocation criteria in MIRO, but be sure multiple documents should possess the same vendor in the Purchase orders.
Also it is really not advisable as because after posting if you found or want to rectify an error wrt to a single PO you need to cancel the Invoice document which will result in cancelling the document for the entire PO's listed and after correction you need to repeat the process again which will be a real cumbersome process.

Dear all,
I want to create delivry against PO and i am using GN_DELIVERY_CREATE . Plz tell me can i use it to create delivery against multiple PO . Plz suggest some small example.Hi,
I am little bit disappointed since I did not get even a single reply for the issue that I raised. Anyways finally after couple of days debugging VL10d and going thru SAP support website I found couple of solutions. Here it is in case anybody else needs it in the future.
I am using solution 2 below.
Solution 1.
From SAP portal website u2013 Apply SAP note 386340 (Grouping purchase orders into one delivery using VL10*)
Note- This solution will affect all your plants and delivery types that is using VL10d transaction or any other transactions calling FM GN_DELIVERY_CREATE
Solution 2.
This is the solution that I am using and it is done by implementing BADI u2018LE_SHP_GN_DLV_CREATEu2019 method MOVE_KOMDLGN_TO_LIKP.
1) Here I am checking for two fields (IS_XKOMDLGN-WERKS and IS_XKOMDLGN-LFART) are equal to the plant and delivery type that I need to combine deliveries for.
2) If step 1 above is true then I am updating the header structure CS_LIKP-LFDAT (delivery date) to todays date (sy-datlo).
Thanks

How to create a single business service against multiple Queues in OSB
Can I create one business servcie against multiple jms queues.
and based on content routing i want to pass the queues' JNDIname
for example
jms://localhost:7001/jms.cf/$variable_queueName
and in runtime i want to provide the queue name for variable "variable_queueName" in the above endpoint URI.
is it possible?.

Does XDB supports validating xml against multiple schemas?
The XMLType has some methods for validating an xml documents against a schema, e.g., SCHEMAVALIDATE, etc.. does XDB support validating xml against multiple schemas (Just like what JAXP or Xerces have done)? Or what's the current situation about this issue? thanks.
did you try using the import schema element instead of the include elemnt?

Material Issue against multiple reservation in one step
Hello everybody,
I want to issue materials against multiple reservation (originating from Service order or PM order) in one step because the number of reservations is quite large (say thousands of reservation in a day). If i go one by one through MB1A it will take a lots of time. Please suggest some solution for the same.
Regards
Amit GuptaHi,
You could write a program (new dialog transaction), in which you can select the reservations for which you want to issue, show the summarized list of materials and quantities to be issued, then you decide which materials you actually want to process, and then call BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to post the individual reservations in the background.
This is just a general idea, but you can use it to develop the real thing, which will probably turn out to be quite more complex.

Checking against multiple domains
Hi all
The script below works perfectly fine, but I feel there is a better way to write it/condense it. We have a list of nearly 2,800 servers that we have to confirm which of the 8 domains they belong to. When I run this script from the root domain it checks against
that domain and, if not a part of the root domain, then moves onto the first child domain, and then the next child domain, and so on.
$servers = Get-Content c:\scripts\servers.txt
foreach ($server in $servers){
If (test-connection $server){
write-host "Checking which domain $server is part of..."
try {
$a = Get-ADComputer -Identity $server
Write-Host "$server is member of rootdomain"
catch [Microsoft.ActiveDirectory.Management.ADIdentityNotFoundException] {
try {
$a = Get-ADComputer -Identity $server -server childdomain1
Write-Host "$server is member of childdomain1"
catch [Microsoft.ActiveDirectory.Management.ADIdentityNotFoundException] {
try {
$a = Get-ADComputer -Identity $server -server childdomain2
Write-Host "$server is member of childdomain2"
catch [Microsoft.ActiveDirectory.Management.ADIdentityNotFoundException]{
try {
$a = Get-ADComputer -Identity $server -server childdomain3
Write-Host "$server is member of childdomain3"
catch [Microsoft.ActiveDirectory.Management.ADIdentityNotFoundException]{
Write-Host "$server not found on any domain"
}Else{
Write-Host "$server not responding"
That's a lot of Try/Catch when you have 7 child domains, so I was wondering if there was a way to check against multiple domains in a better way.
~RickWhile the method you suggest is easier if the list was flat, the list I am using is dynamic and the script will run against it every night. Essentially, it pulls from an XLS sheet in column A (hostname), looks to see if column B (domain) is empty, and if
it is empty it then runs the script to pull specific details about the server. Once it captures the info it then populates the spreadsheet with the required details (IP, # of CPU cores, memory, storage size, OS, service pack, DNS details, etc...).
Unfortunately we don't have SCCM to do something like this. The portion I copied above is just a small snip-it from the real script. I was hoping to simplify that portion so I could condense the script a little more. -

For example our team report the error "Transaction Canceled DB 645" in sm21 log at 26.05.2011 at 4:00 AM.
When we checked the SM21 logs at 10:00 AM on the same day, the entry was no longer present.
