Small "B0" in front of heading in PDF
A small number appears before the headings in a PDF. We generate the PDF from Word 2010 and PDF with Adobe XI Pro. This number does not appear in the word document
Do they play in iTunes on the computer?
Dotted circle? A square in the circle?

How to show custom header in pdf generated from report
Hi,
I have created a report that is used to display Leave record of employees in an organization. After which it creates a pdf file and send it to respective HOD.
In this case I am trimming generated output and sendinf only required fields to the pdf.
When pdf is getting generated it shows program name as Title of that report.
I want to change this header to my own header along with some variable but not sure how I can do so.
I have also tried TOP-OF_PAGE but problem in this case is that I am still getting program name along with it.
To generate pdf I have used function :

Then I had converted this pdf to Binary

Then I had created subject matter and used FM : SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1: to send mail to respective HODs.
I tried dubbing it but couldn't get any variable which is holding program name.

How to change header of pdf in generated report

I am using sun one webserver 6.0 sp6.
I need to enable custom header on the webserver so that any request having a custom http header coming to webserver should be captured by the webserver.

Header in pdf overlaping body of pdf doc:using fop
I'm generating PDF file with FOP, but my header contents are not fixed, they keep on changing with each report and with each locale of browser.
Because of this my static width / height setting like
margin-top="0.25in"or
margin-top="0.95in"is failing for some reports, i.e my header is overlapping with body contents.
Is there a generic solution which can fix this?
More details:
Header of pdf is overlapping on the contents of body of pdf, because of which I am not able to see my top contents in my body of pdf document.
I want to way by which ,if header contents are increased then body should start after the layout of header.
But in pdf api it is required to set:
<fo:region-body margin-top="1.25in" margin-bottom="0.50in" />
<fo:region-before extent="1.25in"/>
<fo:region-after extent="0.50in"/>which is causing problem bec. when my text in header increases beyond 1.25in which is specified in
<fo:region-body margin-top="1.25in"then in that case header text overlapps body text.When you distribute a form using the distribute process, Acrobat replaces whatever code you placed in the button with its own. You do not need to use the distribution process to set this up. Instead, Reader-enable the form and your button should work like you want.

Since the Maverick upgrade, I cannot view pictures in one of my files, they all have a small circle in front to them, How can I access them?
Looking at this data, it appears to all be quarentined. I presume this is the problem. Not sure how it happened, but what do I do next?

Hi guys,
My client want's to have the company logo in header of PDF generated of web template how can i achieve the same.
If i go through the Export wizard in the web template then i have limited options for header display wherein i can't set image in header. Is there any function's or something else which can help me to display image in header.
Please help.You can create print versions of BI applications. To do this, you first export the selected Web application in PDF format. You can then print the PDF version. A dialog is provided to support you in creating print versions. You use this dialog to specify the layout of the print version.
Note that when printing Web applications, it is only possible to export and print the following Web items:
● Analysis
● Chart
● Maps
● Report
● Information Field
● List of Exceptions
● List of Conditions
● Text
You cannot print MIME objects or other Web items. If you want to print MIME objects (such as logos) that you have inserted into a Web template, you must insert the relevant MIME object into the Web application by using the Report Web item. -
All I see is the front page of the pdf. It does not download the full file. It works with Amazon
Try to clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Do the front USB headers work?
Also try the board out of case and put it on a non-conductive surface. Retry with basic components and see if font audio works if you connect it. -

About 3 months ago I assembled my own computer, but yesterday is tried to install my Fronpanel that is on my case. Not without problem.
I connected all pins as said in he manuals, and replaced the two jumpers with the pins, no problems so far. The problem is that my microphone is not working properly in my frontpanel.
Its seems to work but when I record my sound in Windows Soundrecorder I get a flatline but can hear my sound I recorded... in MSNmessenger and Windows Speech hardware test my sound is POOR( bad and soft sound ). I have no clue anymore ... anything is connected properly :(

Alex Dias TeixeiraCheck the manual, but if you use the microphone plug-in in the back on the motherboard, you might disable microphone input
to the front case header panel. I believe if you use the microphone in the back, it disables microphone input from the front. Also be sure to check the multimedia/sound settings near the clock to make sure you don't have anything muted in advanced tabs found. -

I have been searching everywhere for the front panel header pinout of the P5BW-BTX Motherboard that is in the HP DC5700.
Does anyone have this? It is unfortunately omitted from all the hardware and technical manuals.

LED HDD 1 10 LED PWR
LED HDD 2 11 LED PWR
NC 3 12 SWI PWR
NC 4 13 SWI PWR
NC 5 14 NC
NC 6 15 NC
->18 7 16 NO PIN
NC 8 17 NC
NC 9 18 ->7 (pins 7 and 18 are permanently shorted)
I am not sure of the significance of the shorted pins 7 and 18 - maybe someone else knows.

I have used the assessment template to build my writable form and it looks great. But when I save it as a PDF, I lose the header. Also, the text areas fill in blue. How can I fix this.

I am guessing that you used your own image in the Header and not the one in the Template - it is likely that this FAQ will describe your header issue:

Regarding the blue boxes, that is done by Adobe Reader or Acrobat to show that those are fillable form fields, it can be turned on or off in Reader/Acrobat but you of course can't control that setting in your form fillers Acrobat/Reader.

Font is smaller when I print or export to PDF
Dear all,
I have a strange problem when I try to print or export to pdf my .pages document.
I use FontAwesome.otf in order to have some nice icons but when I print the document this icons are smaller then the document.
I also try to make them bigger but they get reduce anyway.

Any suggestion is more then welcome, thank you!To install fontawesome you simply download the kit from this link. Once you unzipped the file you will find the .otf font inside the folder 'font'. Then simply drag and drop the font inside your fontbook.
To insert an icon in pages you simply copy and paste it from the cheatsheet. Remember to change the font to FontAwesome in the Format > Text panel otherwise you would not see the character.

Is there a way to re-size to a smaller portion when creating clickable links on pdf?

I am not sure if I will be clear on what I need, but I'll try my best.
I am currently doing a prayer book for my mom's website and need to add clickable links in the menu (so it will be more easy for the readers to simply click to go to the prayer they want to see). However, some of the prayers don't take a whole full page and I would like to know if it is possible to re-size to a smaller zone in the page so they can only see the prayer and not the other one following it?
I have tried to resize the red square in the left side of the pdf but it doesn't change anything as it goes only diagonally and not vertically, which results in still seeing the other prayer that comes after the one I want to link to.
Can someone assist me on this? It will be much appreciated.When you create the link choose the radio button for "Go to a Page View".
Then, when you see the dialog for Create Go To View, leave this dialog open and go to the page you want to link to and zoom into the area you want to magnify.
Once you have the magnification you're looking for, click on the Set Link button.
