You can make one usb recovery flashdrive or recovery disk set. the usb recovery flashdrive is preferred because of the reliability, durability and recovery speed it has when compared to the ecovery disk set.

  • Small Disc into the disc drive problem due to it now being stuck!

My little sister borrowed my Macbook this morning and was uploading software onto it and it came on a small disc - she didn't realise but said disc wouldn't work on my laptop and just shoved it in. Now it's stuck.
I'm sure other people may have had this problem, anyone know now how to get said disc out of my disc drive without damanging it....

Most reports are that you can take it to an Apple Retail Store and they'll extract it as a courtesy. There are several in your reported area. They could conceivably charge for it though. It might be helpful to get an appointment, but you might not need one. You could just call ahead and ask if you should get an appointment or just walk in.

    Hi,
SAP does not provide the entire life cycle of L/C. we only maintain the L/c Details in SAP.
Thre is no standard that can give you the print. You may need to customise if needed.

  • HT5961 I am logged into two phones how do I log out of the old one??

How do I log out of my other phone

    Hello tobij2n7,
It sounds like you would like to log out of iCloud account on one of your iPhones.  You can do this by deleting the iCloud account from your device:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.
    iCloud: Change iCloud feature settings
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2613
If you no longer have access to the iPhone you would like to log out of, you can remove the iPhone from your account on iCloud.com.  It is important to note that this will erase the iPhone.  Follow the steps in the section titled “Remove an iOS device you no longer have” in the following article:
iCloud: Remove your device from Find My iPhone

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Can I safely insert a 3 1/8" mini disc into the drive slot?

    Please advise.

Someone at my house inserted such a minidisk into the CD drive on my MBP.
Darn right, it does not mount, btw.
Anyone got any ideas or advice on how to get the mini OUT of the drive. The slot on the computer has those fuzzy fringes, makes it hard to see inside.
    Thanks.

  • How to take pix out of a slideshow and back into a simple folder in iPhoto?

I was only experimenting with slideshows and now have 61 photos in a slideshow which I want to revert back to a simple folder of pictures. I do not want those pictures in a slideshow.
How can I get all of the 62 pictures in that slideshow to revert back to 61 photos in a regular folder in iPhoto '08?
I guess I should have duplicated the folder of 61 photos before I made it into a slideshow. Then I could have just deleted the slideshow. Yes or no?

    Lorna:
You can reduce the number of Events by creating Smart Albums with criteria that you would like to have the photos grouped by. If you'd like the events to be by year and month, set the smart album's criteria to be Date is in the Range 01/month/year to 30/month/year. Then select the contents of that SA and use the Events->Create Event menu item to create an event with those photos. Then change the date to the next month and do the same. You can use any criteria you want for the SA but Events are time based and work better that way.
P.S. are you in So Cal. permanently or just visiting. Wanna trade houses?

  • I want to know how to take music out of other folders in my iTunes...

I can't take music from other folders on my iTunes and put them on my iPod. I want to know how I can do this, because I feel like I have tried everything but I may not have tried everything. Can someone tell me how I can go about doing this; taking music from another folder and or file from my iTunes and put them onto my iPod.

Your post is somewhat confusing. If all of your music is in your iTunes music folder, it should sync to your iPod. If you have music on your system's HD that is not in iTunes, you will need to use the "add file or folder" function in iTunes to bring these other files into the iTunes music folder.

  • Coin in disk drive - how to get it out?

Hi, my 3 year old son has put a coin in the disk drive and I'm struggling to get it out. When you turn the machine on you can hear it makes a rattling sound and sometimes the machine doesn't start up correctly. There are no obvious screws to get inside it. Any ideas how to get the coin out, or to take the mini apart?
    Many thanks!
    Matthew.

It sounds like the coin is in the Superdrive, so taking the mini apart will not help as you cannot take apart the Superdrive (you can, however, replace the Superdrive)
See if gravity can assist. Unplug everything and while holding the mini with the slot facing down, shake.
If this does not help, and you decide that you need to replace the Superdrive, instructions are at: http://www.ifixit.com/pdf/ifixit/guide1065en.pdf
These instructions tell you how to pop-open the mini. Maybe without the mini case in the way, the coin will fall out.
If you need a Superdrive, for 2009 and later, the mini uses a SATA Superdrive. You can get one here: http://www.logicsupply.com/products/uj875a
    Good luck!

  • Moved into new flat - How do i find out what the t...

I've just moved into a leased flat as a tenant and there is a BT box on the wall.
I'm looking to setup broadband etc but all providers require the telephone number at the property.  Is there any way to find this out?
I don't have a phone plugged in atthe moment so i'm assuming no dial tone etc.

Don`t assume there is no dial-tone, as quite often the line is simply "stopped".
Plug a phone in, and if there is dial tone, then dial 1470 17070.
If you are lucky it will give you the number.
You may however wish to ask for a different number, just in case the previous tenant, had problems.
If its not a BT line, you may get a different message.
There are some useful help pages here, for BT Broadband customers only, on my personal website.

    here's how:
Press and release the back cover release button located at the bottom part of the phone.
Slide your thumbnail or a credit card between the back cover and the phone, starting at the bottom and moving halfway up one side until you hear the clasp release.
Repeat step 2 on the other side of the phone.
    Lift off the back cover.
Remove the battery by pulling the tab that appears at the top of the battery.
    Insert the new battery.
Position the back cover over the phone and gently press the top two clasps, located at the top corners. Then press the two clasps halfway down either side of the phone.
Slide out the keyboard, and then press the two clasps at the bottom corners.
Press and hold the power button on the upper-right corner of your phone until you see a logo on the screen (approximately five seconds). Please be patient while your phone starts up.
