Also search for case converter OS X... here are just 2 sites.

I have never used these apps. or sites. Some are for Apple Works.
Not sure they do EXACTLY what you want, Hope that helps.

    Hi,
    Try the following steps:
    1. Check windows updates.
    2. Try the Microsoft Fix it in this kb to remove previous install completely:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en-us
    3. Reboot.
    4. Try installing again.
This seems helpful on the issue.
As always, thank you for your suggestion, Don:)

  • CS5, checked "save file extensions as small case letters" but still capital, why?

    hi,
i installed CS5 4 weeks ago, since this time, i never got a file extension in small case letters, only capital letters ( xxx.TIF ). why?
i checked it in preferences, see enclosed screenshot... i never had this problem in CS4.
it would be important for myself, when saving files, that alle extensions are small case letters, like xxx.psd or xxx.eps
usually i rename these extensions manually, cause i am uploading final images to PC servers, which
cant recognize capital letters, i presume....

no, i am still dealing with this problem on both macs,
mac pro mid 2010 2,8 quad (24GB RAM) and my mbp 15" i7 (4GB RAM)
    where i installed Photoshop CS5.
on both macs, photoshop always saves files with capital letter file extensions (xxx.TIF or xxx.PSD)
thats very annoying, as i have to manually rename the file in the finder later.
and thats for all files i create.
i really wonder, could anyone from the adobe staff please comment if it is a bug
    or anything else?
    thanks!

  • Issue with format: date dd-MMM-yyyy - First letter lower instead of capital

    Hi colleagues,
I am facing a problem using: <?format-date:FIELD_NAME;’dd-MMM-yyyy’;'UTC'?> on my RTF template.
When the report run on English it retrieves: Apr, Jun, ...
but in French it retrieves: apr, jun.
The client wants the first letter of the month in capital letter I thought that MMM is the format to manage it...
I am using XML Publisher with PeopleSoft.
The template is in French and using bursting I create the report in different language depending on some parameters.
When I preview the template everything is ok.
Does anyone knows where is the Abbreviate Name of the Month comes from?
    Thanks in advance,
    Juan Diego

    Hi Juan
It ought to be returning 'Arv' not 'apr' in French right?
It might be an issue with the i18n library that is being shipped. I would suggest logging a service request with support for some help.

  • PDFs that have white backgrounds always print with small dot grids instead of plain white

If I print out of the browser it's white, but when i save the PDF and print it later it has these small dots in a grid, is there a setting in Adobe Reader that is doing that?

I have the SAME problem. My pdf was created by exporting a text document from pages. Anyone can HELLLP????

  • IS THIS LEGAL?? Original Creditor listed as the Debt Collector instead of Capital One!!

I just checked Quizzle and I know that the scores are FAKO scores, but I was really checking the credit reports. I had to fill out a form to send in for my husband's and my reports as they will not allow us to pull online.  Anyway I found this!
Is is legal for Capital One to list PR as the original creditor??? We never signed any paperwork with PR!! They are the debt collector on my and my husband's reports!!

I would speculate that it is an error on the part of the party who produced the credit report rather than an inaccuracy of reporting to your credit file. The substance is unaltered... you have one OC and one debt collector.Assertion of "illegality" would be based on an assertion that they have intentionally misreported inaccurate information.I see no basis for making such an assertion.

  • C: drive small, using E: instead..

Hi, recently purchased a HP envy 810 desktop
I'm a novice within this aspect, apologies for the stupid question!
Via past laptops, desktops etc i've always been used to having all programmes located and installed automatically within C:\Program Files (x86)\  (etc) so i never thought to check and having just tried to install something else via Steam was prompted that there was not enough space.
I've cut it down for now, stopped installing everything and deleted a few things as to not fill it up.
    C: Windows - 40.8/107 GB
    D: Recovery - 1.19/10.1 GB
    E: Datadrive - 1.81/1.81 TB
Is a simply a case of moving everything from to the D: drive, thus the large portion of my files now being located in D:\Program Files (x86)\ (etc)? Or do u have to somehow make the C: drive the larger one? Or are there other steps i need to go through in order to make the E: drive the default one for installs etc?
    As stated, complete novice, apologies!

    Hi Tom-John,
I would think you a have a 128 GB SSD as the primary system and boot drive (C:\).
Drive D:\ should only contain the HP Recovery image. You will have to uninstall all programs you installed to the D:\ using Control Panel, Programs and Features.
Don't tamper with the HP Recovery Image.
Then reinstall those programs to the E:\ drive. The E:\ drive should be used for large data files such as video games and music libraries. You have to change the default install path to E:\ when installing the programs.
Have you made an HP Recovery Disc set or USB drive? Having spurious data on the D:\ drive may cause issues when attempting to create an HP Recovery set or USB Drive. Try creating a Microsoft Recovery drive, instructions can be found here. You will need a 16 GB USB drive. Make sure you copy the recovery partition when creating the Microsoft Recovery drive.

  • Why when viewing Craigslist in the Gallery mode I'm now getting very small unviewable photos instead of the usual 3x3 versions. Starting in safe mod

Safe mode fixes the problem but disabling all the extensions doesn't. Any suggestions

    Thanks for your reply.
After my initial posting I decided to just reset FF and reload any add-ons I needed. After doing so and before loading any add-ons the problem was resolved. I then found that after loading Adblock it reappeared and disabling Adblock did not fix the problem, only removing it would. So, I decided to use another ad blocker called Adblock Edge and so far have not experienced the problem. My fingers are crossed.

  • I ordered Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere 13 unfortunately of the Windows version (small print). Instead I needed the Mac version for my new iMac. The order was on December 2nd. 2014. Order no.: AD014937726.

I contacted Adobe and they recommended the Forum to speed up the process!!! I need to know who to contact.

  • Small Letters rather than Capital

    Hey guys,
I'm using Des6i PL/SQL Definitions in my development. My client's standard is to generate everything in Small Letters and not in Capital (except keywords which I can control with other codes inside the BEGIN..END definition area). As an example, I identified all procedure parameters in small letter, but the generated code is in Capital. Second thing, my table in designer are in a specific order, and when I generate them to *.tab file they are coming in different order although they all reference the same table.

    Hi,
In Text Function  you can find LowerCase-Converts all upper case letters in I to lower case letters  &

  • Problem with Small Caps

I have a problem with small caps when using Times New Roman and Helvetica, but not when using Adobe Garamond Pro, and would like to find out why.
I generate the small caps within InDesign by the "TT" box in the Control Window. Adobe Garamond comes up with beautiful small caps that blend in with the surrounding text. When I do the same with Helvetica, the small caps, especially if they have normal caps amongst them, are quite inelegant looking because of different letter widths.
So I did some experiments with half a dozen other serif and sans-serif fonts and none of them were as elegant as Adobe Garamond Pro. For a sample of what I mean, download:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?z5fm0zndmzm
which compares three fonts: Adobe Garmond, Heletica, and Times New Roman.
Unfortunately, I did not pick up this problem until I received my first proof from the printers, and now I will have to change all the Helvetica small caps to normal caps, as I can see no other way of overcoming this inelegancy.
I checked in New Scientist magazine (it uses a serif and sans-serif font throughout, and what I thought I remembered as small caps to begin their stories) to see what they do, but they actually use caps instead of small-caps at the beginning of stories.
    Three questions:
Q1: Is the way I generate small caps the correct way?
Q2: Is there something wrong with my Helvetica and Times New Roman fonts?
Q3: Could it be that only Adobe Garamond has an internal, properly designed small caps?
I have checked the attributes of the fonts: Garamond is Open Type Postscript, Helvetica is PostScript Type 1 , and Times New Roman is TrueType.
    Any comments most appreciated.

Thanks for the hints. I tried Scott's method and it works with a bit of extra adjustment. The settings I obtained for 12 point Helvetica were:
    Horizontal and vertical scaling: 70.5%;
    Stroke: 0.1 pt
    Tracking: +25 em
    Baseline shift: +0.1 pt
The steps to obtain small-caps 12 pt Helvetica are:
Step 1: Type text as normal.
Step 2: Select only the lower-case text you want to convert to small caps. i.e if what is to become small caps already has a capital (such as a place name) do not apply the settings to the capitals, unless that's the effect you want.
Step 3: Apply the above settings manually or via or Character Style.
Problem 1: How do I rid my Character Style of the font size so that only the scaling factors remain? As it is, if I want to apply small-caps to a different font size than the one I have set up, I have to manually change the font size after applying the style.
Problem 2: The scaling factors do not appear to work for changes in font size. When I used 24 pt and applied the above settings, the small-caps were too thin. The method only really works for a particular size, which in reality is all you would normally require.

  • I can't open my iphoto library on an external disk (78 gb ntfs); if i copy the files on the iMac the file is smaller and not usable. how can i recover my photo?

    hi all,
i'm using the last version of iPhoto and i save my library on a western digital external USB drive; the drive is formatted in NTFS; i usually use tuxera to access and browse the files.
Unfortunately, i don't know why, i access this drive in read only mode, so iPhoto doesn't accept the library any more; i tried to copy the library on the iMac but the copied file is really smaller (54 gb instead on the 78 on the drive), and iphoto doesn't accept it.
i need to find a solution and to recover my library, i've no other copies?!
tuxera doesn't open any other ntfs drive i think the problem is there, but i have to finf other solutions to recover my photos.
thank you all for any suggestion.

This problem is entirely due to this:
the drive is formatted in NTFS
iPhoto needs to have the Library sitting on disk formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Users with the Library sitting on disks otherwise formatted regularly report issues including, but not limited to, importing, saving edits and sharing the photos.
Do you get any error messages when you try and copy the file back to your Mac?
Do you have a back up?

  • Small window slideshow?

    Hi,
I've wanted to create a small window slideshow, instead of a full screen one.
Is there a way to do this w/iPhoto 4.0.3, Quicktime or some other Application,
    or freeware/shareware?
    Thanks,
    L+

Sure... Just export (or share) the slide show to QuickTime from iPhoto's File menu. Choose the size window you prefer in the resulting dialog.

  • Anyone know about the Novell Open Workgroup Suite for Small Business

    http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/19813.html

    Tim,
Yes Novell needs more commitment and win back the hearts of old Novell
    supporters
    like yourself and me included.
Unfortunatly, I can't see anyone from Novell let alone a VP or his boss
    although I think
this would be a very good sign.
Even if a cleaner at Novell calls you its something!!!
Please post if you get a call!!!
Personally - I can live without Bordermanager, NSS and Zenworks
Netware is gone - there really is NO life left as there is no 64bit.
Lets move on and Linux is the way but lets not forget Windows & AD now rules
    the world.
The new NOWS product looks good. Still a few rough edges but like you said
    shows the product
had been moth balled for 18 months - still its an alternative to MS SBS.
Novell Small Business discussion group with ACTIVE support from Novell
    employees much
like the MS forums would be nice.
Direct Support call costs need to come down.
Novell needs MORE distributors and offer a OEM deal for system builders
Novell need to court partners - otherwise its a dead duck
MS asks users for feedback - there was one last week on "Competition" in the
    MS SBS forum.
In the UK - everything Novell does is based in Bracknell - they need to get
out and about in the country
and offer dealers FREE "Intro Training" so they are comfortable selling

    More suggestions.
    1. If you align naming conventions between data and your application - reading data could be practically a one-liner.
If you write pafh["id_" + i] (with small case i) instead of pafh["Id_" + i] (with capital case I) the function can be just:
    function onLoaded(e:Event):void
              for (var prop:String in e.target.data)
                        pafh[prop] = e.target.data[prop].split(",");
              play();
    2. If changing conventions is not feasible, here is another thing you can do:
    function onLoaded(e:Event):void
              for (var prop:String in e.target.data)
                        pafh[prop.replace(/^\w/, String(prop.match(/^\w/)).toUpperCase())] = e.target.data[prop].split(",");
              play();
