Small printing on my paper
For some reason the size of the print when I print out a document has gotten very small in size.
How do I change the size so the printing is larger?
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try (for Firefox, very similar for Internat Explorer):
Click Print
On the Preview page you can see many options on the top row
You can increase/decrease using Scale (in %) and then click Print

Booklet printing on Tabloid paper
I am creating a booklet to print on tabloid paper. I will be giving this to someone else to take to printer. I'm having a problem because I can't see a way to set up the print to booklet feature, unless I am actually printing it right now on my printer (which does not support printing). Any ideas how to do this so person going to Kinkos does not need to mess with it when they get there?
It's not your resposibility to impose a document for mutliple up, booklet or any other scenerio for many reasons. You are making educated guesses as to how the job will print, but are not actually printing the job.
If you were creating more than a four page newsletter, would you consider creep/shingling? Are you certain they are running flat spreads as opposed to folded signatures? Are bleeds required?
On behalf of all the qualified small printers barely able to make ends meet, if your print provider, Kinko's, cannot print from a proper facing pages document, find one who can. IMO, you'll receive a better product from a company who cares about your project and will be happy to help. -
we are looking for a Laser Printer which takes Paper Roll instead of seperate(A4 size) papers
I don't know of any laser printers that take a roll instead of sheets. There are some small designjets that might have a roll feed accessory but they are inkjet printers and designed for graphics applications.

see question
Hola Gustavo,
your task is for me not quite clear. I can see two scenarios:
a) Calibrate the press for ISONewspaper26v4 ink (your standard process) on salmon colored paper.
Print the target by press on this paper, measure and build the profile. There is no problem so far.
But preparing CMYK data with this profile for printing by press requires a very complicated gamut
compression, becauses the gamut of the actual process on salmon paper is small and excentric
in Lab. As mentioned in my previous post.
b) Simulate the appearance of press prints on salmon paper, disregarding the salmon color by profiles.
This shall be done in your case by a toner printer.
The toner printer has to be calibrated with white paper. As a result one gets a valid Printer Profile.
The proof printing happens for a CMYK file, for instance a PDF/X-1a file so:
Input profile: ISONewspaper26v4
Output profile: Printer Profile
Printed on salmon paper!
The printer profiling converts the toner printer into a more or less reliable proof printer. This has nothing
to do with colored paper.

How can I get my HP CP1525nw to print on A4 (about 4" by 7") paper? It prints with a top margin of about 3 inches, which is too far down the small sheets of paper.
This question was solved.
View Solution.Sorry, my error. The A4 paper size specification was incorrect. In actual fact, the paper size is non-standard at 3-3/4" x 6-7/8" for my wife's obsolete Lefax binders, but she still uses them for her recipes. I solved the problem by doing this. I invoked MSPublisher, selected a blank page size, created a New Page Size of 3.9 x 6.8", double clicked to open it, inserted two more pages, used Format > Layout Guides to create guide lines with proper margin indents on all four sides (leaving an extra wide margin at the bottom, a very narrow margin at the top, and space for punching loose-leaf holes on the left side), inserted a page number spot at the bottom of the page, inserted a Text Box on all three pages that matched the guide lines, used View > two-page spread in order to get facing pages, linked the 3 text boxes, copied the desired text and pasted it into the first Publisher page. It overflowed, so I allowed Pub to create additional pages. I selected the entire text and chose the desired (monospaced) font and point size, and loaded my special size paper into the printer. I had to select Printing Options and paper size, and the size (among the limited options) that seemed to fit best was called Envelope Monarch. Then I was able to print the document. It wasn't simple to figure all this out and took quite a bit of experimentation, but "Nothing beats success!" I have since written all of this down so that I can refer to it when I need to do it all again. 22-OCT-2014

Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.0 will not print SRA3 size paper
I created an Adobe InDesign file 320x450mm (SRA3) and saved it as a a High Quality PDF. However, when I print from Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 with SRA3 paper size settings, it defaults to A4 and the printer will not register the SRA3 paper size request. The tech from Canon updated the printer driver which increased print dialog options such as Paper Handling, Paper Source etc. (which I didn't have before) and spent over an hour running tests. We both agreed there was a software issue since there were not issues from other software:
I can print SRA3 files from InDesign and Microsoft Word, but not Adobe Acrobat Pro.
This is an ongoing problem since I often receive artwork in PDF format at this size.
My workaround is to place the PDF into InDesign, line up the crops by eye and print to SRA3 paper which works fine until I need to do a double sided print which becomes slightly innacurate and often time consuming.
Canon printer driver specs:
V2.0
iR-ADV C5045/5051 PS (UK)What happens if you select other paper sizes? Also ensure that 'choose paper source by PDF page size' is not checked at your print dialog.
Kindly let us know your results and if possible please forward us your pdf at [email protected]
Looking forward to help you out.
Thanks

How to print on photo paper with HP Photosmart 7520 on iphoto '11
Dear All,
I have a very serious problem. I've tried so many settings and configurations without success.
Very simple. I cannot choose the photo tray in any way and I cannot print on photo paper.
I get everything on A4 format.
The printer is working fine wih other software (e.g. HP studio).
I can't believe I'm the only one.
Please help!
tks ;-)Hi,
I came across such issues using AirPrint from Mac OS.. probably an Airprint bug.
Go to Print & Scan and click the plus sign.
From the extended add a printer dialog select the Photosmart 7520.
Open the Use drop-down and select the HP Photosmart 7520 from teh list (Instead the default AirPrint option)
Additionally from the iPhoto print dialog click Print, the OS print dialog will appear.
Set the Paper Source as Photo Tray under the Paper Type/Quality menu.

Using windows 7, how do I get my Officejet Pro K8600 to print to 13x19 paper?
I purchased a laptop with Windows 7. Now I cannot get my Officejet Pro K8600 to print correctly to 13x19 paper. It prints onto 13x19 paper but everything is 8.5 x 11 in size. I click print, click properties, change the paper to Super B 13x19, hit ok, the box shows the 13x19 paper with the images filling the paper, I click ok for it to print and it prints the image 8.5 x 11 in size on the 13x19 paper instead of filling the 13x19 paper. I did not have this trouble (and still don't) with my old laptop with XP. Is it the operating system or is it a wrong setting in properties? I have tried to compare the properties settings in both computers, but I cannot find any differences. I don't think it's the driver....please help!
This question was solved.
View Solution.Hello HW,
Try this: go to Devices and Printers and right-click on the Officejet Pro K8600 and click on Printer Properties. Go to the tab called Advanced and click on the button called Print Processor. Select Winprint and click OK. Try another printout and see if it works now. If you still see the same issue see if there's a scaling option on the print dialogue in the application you're printing from. -

In IE if I set the zoom at lets say 150% it will stay that way even if I shut down. But with firefox, it goes back to small print every time I view a new page. Is there a way to set the zoom to stay at a larger size? Thanks, EHIf you need to adjust the font size on websites then look at:

Problem printing on dot-matrix printer with continuous paper
Post Author: kdebruyckere
CA Forum: .NET
Hi,
We're currently developping an .net application for a customer of ours in VS2005 (c#). I used crystal reports for VS2005 to create an invoice.
The invoices have to be printed on a dot-matrix printer with continuous paper (Brother M-4318). When an invoice is only one page long, there's no problem. Even when printing several sigle-page invoices after another, all goes fine. The problem occurs when an invoice is more then one page longe. The first page comes out correctly, but on the following pages everything moves ca. 3 mm upwards (3 mm on the second page, 6 mm on the third page, and so on...). On the report 'Design > Printer Setup', I selected the right printer, the right paper size, ... On the report there's a page header (consisting of two sections), and there's a page footer that is only printed on the last page, but there are no report header and no report footer.
I can not figure out what seems to be the problem. Has anyone else had this or a similar problem before? If so, please let me know. Any suggestions are welcome.

Continuous paper is a little bit longer than normal A4 paper. I found only one way to set it: ReportDocument.PrintOptions.PaperSize =CrystalDecisions.Shared.PaperSize.PaperFanfoldStdGermanI had no success, setting continuous papersize by printer setup. ... waiting for CustomPaperSize-Property (like CustomPaperSource)... The printer wont print on photo paper why is that
The printer keeps printing on paper instead of photo paper
How are you sending the print job, and what file type are you trying to print? I know airprint and eprint base the paper type on what file type is printing. If its from a computer you will have to specify in the print settings what paper to use.
