Smart folder not showing all emails

Hi all,
I decided to try Apple Mail with one of my IMAP accounts. I created new account and sync-ed it (around 2600 messages in Inbox and around 1600 in Sent). I also created few smart mailboxes with farily simple rules (Any Recipients contains @importantaddress.com), Include messages from Sent checked).
I noticed that not all messages with that rule are shown in Smart Mailbox, although they are in Inbox, like emails from same person, same shown, some not. Any idea why ?

I have bad news for you. There appears to be a problem with the [Contains Attachments] condition in smart mailboxes. For smart mailbox purposes, Mail does’t realize a message contains attachments until you view its contents. I don’t think there is anything you can do about it other than reporting the problem here:

    I have a smart folder with these criteria:
    1. Any Recipent contains "name"
    2. Subject contains "film"
    3. Contains attachments
    All conditions must match.
    And Include messages from sent is active.
    The problem:
    I discovered that a lot of mails that I had sent was missing.
    When I opened the sent folder I could see the mails missing.
    If I click on one of those mails it imediately shows up in the smart folder.
    I tried to select all but that didnt help.
    So I have to click manually on every mail that I send in the sent folder to get them in the smart folder. Not so smart?
    I tried to delete the "Envelope Index" file and rebuild it. But it didnt help.
    Any suggestions?

  • More than 10 email accounts in TB - Not Showing all emails

    Not showing all emails in UNIFIED Inbox Folder
    I HAVE SETUP MORE THAN 10 EMAIL ACCOUNTS IN TB. THEN I SENT A TEST EMAIL TO ALL OF MY EMAIL ACCOUNTS.
    WHEN I CHECK INBOX OF INDIVIDUAL EMAIL ACCOUNT, THERE IS EMAIL AND SHOWING IN INDIVIDUAL INBOX OF ALL EMAIL ACCOUNTS BUT UNFORTUANTELY IT IS NOT SHOWING IN UNIFIED FOLDER of ALL INBOXES. Unified Inbox Folder of all Emails Accounts is only showing few of them.

  • Outlook Client not showing all emails

    Hi,
    We have signed up for emails on domains.live.com for the domain name kamtress.com 
    We setup Outlook clients in our office using IMAP.
    But the outlook client does not show all emails and also shows lots of copies of sent emails while we would have sent only one.
    Could you please help us out with this issue as to how this can be rectified?
    We use Outlook 2013 on Windows 7.

    First of all, please make sure your Outlook is fully patched.
    Then, please log on your web mail and check if you can see all your emails. If so, please open your Outlook, go to File > Info > Account Settings > Account Settings > Highlight your Imap account and click
    Change > in the Change Account wizard, check how you set the 'Mail to keep offline' slider. Change it to
    All and then check if you can see all your emails in Outlook now.
    If problem persists, please try to create a new mail profile in Control Panel and set up your IMAP account in the new profile to check if it helps. To configure an email account via IMAP, please refer:

  • New outlook install not showing all email histories for some users

    Hello,
    I recently installed outlook 2013 on a windows 8 machine connected to exchange. I noticed it is not showing all the email histories for a particular user.  Is there an index that needs to be rebuilt or something?  Some users it shows a
    bunch emails for others it only shows one or two.  Thanks in advance.

    Do you mean only one particular user couldn't view all messages from Outlook?
    From this sentence "Some users it shows a bunch emails for others it only shows one or two.", it seems that this issue affect some users, not only one.
    If only one user is affected by this problem, you can follow the steps below to check result.
    1. Please check if it displays all mails in OWA.
    2. And please switch between Outlook cached mode and online mode to check result.
    If some users are affected, please check database index status.

  • Z10 not showing all emails in folders (imap + gmail imap)

    Hi
    My Z10 is not showing all the emails in my imap email accounts (inc gmail).  e.g. my inbox has 20 messages but the z10 only shows 10 of them.  Same issue applies on some other folders.
    Issue also applies on gmail imap account but does not seem to occur on my exchange account.
    It also only appears to be affecting emails that are approx 1 or 2 weeks ago in this month.

    Please check carefully your settings for your GMail account, especially the portion concerning "Sync Timeframe" (if visible to you, it depends on the integration method).
    Check carefully also how these are labeled on GMail...Gmail technically uses labels and not folders, and the BB must interpret the labels into folders. So if a stray label is applied to these items, then that may be why they are suppressed from view.
    You can also try removing and re-integrating the problem account.
    You can also try ringing up your mobile service provider for formal support and potential escalation to BlackBerry for enhanced formal support.

  • Not showing all emails in UNIFIED Folder

    I have setup more than 10 email accounts in TB.
    Then I sent test email to all of my accounts.
    Only few (5) emails are showing in ALL UNIFIED Folder and rest emails are not showing in UNIFIED Folder, but it is showing in Individual inbox folder of each email account.

    I just had the same problem, but deleting these files did not help. But I found the solution:
    I right-clicked on the unified sent folder, clicked properties and then the "Choose" button for selecting the folders to search. One of the sent folders was not selected in the list that appears.

  • Smart playlist not showing all playlists

    Since I updated to iTunes 10.4, I have notice that many of my smart playlists are corrupted. I am using smart playlist to group ordinary playlists. But today, while I was trying to edit one, I found that all my big smart playlist that contain more than roughly 5 playlist are showing almost all the conditional playlist as empty (a big horizontal bar).
    If I go to manually re-select that one that are empty, I can't find them in the combo box that pop-ups, but I can see the playlist in the left side bar of the main window of iTunes.
    In the picture below, you can see the _Jazz playlist. That one is OK, but what follows is a mess. First weird thing is that the first 3 playlist shown in the list are not within their respective folder. I have made red links in the picture to point where they come from in the main window list. After that, I should found in the pop-up window the entirity of the Alternative Pop/Rock folder, but I only see one playlist. Then after that, the list display the folders / playlist as it should.
    Anybody know why are the smart playlist not allowing me to select my playlists anymore? I didn't have this problem a month ago.

    Make sure that the Album column is showing for the playlist, and then click the Album header to sort by the album name.
    If you just want to play specific albums, you will probably find it easier to turn on the Browser (View menu -> Show Browser). Then you can select an individual album and play all it's tracks, or select an artist and see (and optionally play) all album by that artist.

    Hi guys, i'm trying to save a search on folder ~/Library/Application Support/iLifeAssetManagement/assets/sub/, but the smart folder is not showing the files even when i'm looking at those files, can any one tell me what am i doing wrong?

  • 10.5.2 share point for folder not showing all the sub folders via afp?

    Hi, I just set this up late last night. I have a sharepoint set up for a folder. Under this folder there are maybe 8 other folders, with their subsequent folders there after. My issue is I set this point up for the higher level, set proper permissions and only half of the folders show under all the log ins? First thought was permissions. I set up myself full control ACL and propagated throughout. Same issue. To skirt this for now I am sharing the folders that do not appear and it works fine but kind of a pain for all the users. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

  • 'Sent' folder not showing sent emails from shared account.

    I have access to my manager's Outlook Office 365 email account with "Owner" rights. The items in the "Inbox" all show up fine, however, none of the emails my manager answers or sends show up in the "Sent" folder on my pc.
    Is there a way I can view the emails contained in his "Sent" emails folder from my pc?

    It sounds like your manager has delegated you right to only his inbox folder.  If you need full access, there is a setting on his mailbox to provide full access to his mailbox which would allow you to see the full folder structure.
    This is essentially Exchange 2013 running in office 365 so I will do my best to explain what to do without having access to O365.
    Navigate to the Exchange Admin Center, find Recipients and your manager's name. Click Edit (pencil icon) on your manager's name and click the "mailbox delegation" menu on the left side of the window. Scroll down to the very bottom where it says Full Access
    and add your name there.
    Within 15 minutes, and probably closing and re-opening Outlook client, your manager's mailbox should appear as a second mailbox in your outlook profile automatically.

  • Not showing all emails suddenly

    Only recent emails showing up in my Microsoft account and I don't see anywhere to change the Mail days to sync. I have checked everything?

    I saw that screen but didnt want to delete account so didnt go there. Are there options under that prompt that allows the messages to be saved on server? I was afraid it would delete the account. The messages have been there I think for days until they reached around 300 and now I only see the recent messages. It seems like a setting was changed????

  • Photos 1.0 not showing all images from Photos Library.photoslibrary folder/file after update install

    I installed the update that changed my iPhoto to Photos 1.0, and the new Photos program is not showing all images from Photos Library.photoslibrary file/folder (not sure to call it file or folder since it is actually a folder with all my pics but it acts more like a file) after update install.  The Photos Library.photoslibrary file/folder shows to be 55 gb in size, and it shows to be loaded into the photos program, but there are maybe a few weeks of pictures showing instead of a few years.  Lots of pictures in the 55 gb are not showing for some reason. 

    No - iPhotos has not replaced anything - it is new and an addition - iPhoto is still on your system in the applications folder and still works just fine
    Outlook is not supported by Photos - not sure if the support must come form Apple or MS as Photos uses a different interface to external packages than iphoto did

    The answer depends on a number of factors, such as the following:
    If you have more than one email account, does this problem affect one, some, or all of your accounts?
    Where did you last see this mail -- in your Inbox(es)? in some other folder(s) outside your Inbox(es)? somewhere else?
    How old is the missing email -- yesterday? just before you got the new computer? over a week? over a month? over a year?
    How are you reading email -- with the builtin Mail application? with some other mail-reading application? with a web browser?
    How do you access your email on the server -- IMAP? POP? Exchange? web browser? other?
    What version of OS X is on your new computer -- Mavericks (10.9.x)? Mountain Lion (10.8.x)?
    Did you migrate your data and applications from your old computer when you set up your new computer?
    For example, if the missing mail is the mail that was in your Inbox before you got the new computer, you are reading it with the builtin Mail via POP, and you failed to migrate data, then the mail was left behind on the old computer. The same would be true if the mail was in "On My Mac" mailboxes and you failed to migrate data.
