Smart folders seems not to work with star rating. Is there a fix?
I Rate photos with a five star rating either on iPhoto or Adobe Bridge CS5. When I create a smart folder setting the search attribute to "Rating equals 5" nothing appears on the search.

I think I misunderstood your question. You were talking about smart folders in the Finder and not about smart albums in iPhoto, right? "Rating equals 5" does not work on any of my machines, neither in Snow leopard nor in Lion. The problem seems to be how to represent the rating in the search string. If I search for "Rating is not 5" the smart folder contains plenty of pictures, also those with a rating of five. Does anyone know how the rating is coded to be used in a search string in the Finder?

You need to use iDVD 09 or iDVD 11. These are only available on disk.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.

Works fine here on Linux. Make sure that you do not block [[JavaScript]].
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

AirDrop on iOS devices (iPads, iPhones, iPod touches) can only AirDrop things with other iOS devices. AirDrop on Mac can only AirDrop things with other Macs.

On your iOS device, go to Settings > Music.

Tap the iTunes Match switch to On.To access your music in iCloud, open the Music Player app on your device.
Your music in iCloud will be integrated into your local music library. A download button will appear to the right of any content that you have in iCloud that doesn't already exist on your device.

When enabling iTunes Match on your iOS device, the music library on your iOS device will be deleted and then replaced with your music in iCloud.
Syncing music with iTunes will be disabled while iTunes Match is enabled on your iOS device.
By default, when adding an iOS device to iTunes Match, downloading over a cellular network is enabled1. To disable downloading over cellular for iTunes Match, choose Settings > Music > Use Cellular Data > Off.

My select select statement seems not to work...

I am having trouble with my select statement below. Here is what I need to do:
1. loop at itab it_equz.
2. get single asset number(ANLNR) and description(SHTXT) from table ITOB where EQUNR =_equz-equnr.
3. get single asset number(ANLN1), asset subclass(ANLN2 and subnumber(ORD42 from table ANLA where its asset(anln1) equals to the asset fetched by ITOB. (no. 2 step) and DEAKT eq '00000000'
4. Now, I would get all fields(select single) in table ANLC where ANLN1 equals to asset fetched by ANLA and ANLN2 equals to ANLN2 fetched by ANLA and AFABE eq '01'.
5.endloop.
Now, the problem is that I can't seem to get the right values in table ANLC. Now, my boss said that the values that I must get in ANLC must not be deactivated. So I did that by getting the required fields(no 3 step) in table ANLA where its DEAKT is equal to '00000000'.
Now, my select statement for ANLC seems not to work properly since I have the proper where conditions. Anyway, below is my select statement that I did:

Please avoid selection in loop. it will lead to major performance issue.
avoid move statements ; instead use assignment.
1st :- select the entire data into internal table
eg:-

for all entries in it_equz

1st select
2nd select.
2nd :- now loop on ur internal table to get the desired result.
it is good to work with internal table rather than select statements in loop.

My 2nd Gen Apple TV seems to have just stopped working with Youtube. Is there a particular reason this has happened ? All of the other services work correctly.
Apple already have a position on such matters. If you have a problem with one particular service and not others, contact the provider.

However, 3 similar reports, do not a problem make. Perhaps there is a problem, perhaps there isn't, but it really doesn't seem to affect many people if there is, believe me when there is a problem it's quite obvious from the additional traffic it causes in these communities. It's also not exactly clear that you are all seeing exactly the same thing. -

Bridge will do the job. View > Sort > ByType. Then you can choose a group of one type and put the files in a separate folder.

Existing Apple ID is not longer working with Face Time and Message on the iPhone after iOS 6
After the IOS 6 update on my iPhone the Apple ID is not longer working with Face Time and Message. Each time I try to log in I receive the message that the password or the user is not right. But they are, because on all other devices and all other parts of the iPhone (iCloud, AppStore, iTunes) they are working. Other Apple IDs are working fine.
What's wrong? Any idea?

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

If you own any version of Aperture 3, you are entitled to a free update. Only it can be tricky, if your version is not associated with your AppleID, because you bought it with a serial number.
Have you checked, if you can see an update at the App Store Updates page? Or an "Accept" button on the Purchases tab of the app Store?
Contact the AppStore Support and request a redeem code, to be able to buy the update for free. You will need to provide a proof op purchase of Aperture.

Sorry but that makes no sense at all. How can they possible know what things will possible malfunction on your device? Anything that they think is highly likely to malfunction they would have addressed in desiging and manufacturing the device in the first place, during development. They've made and sold many millions of iPhones, and many of them have lasted years without any problems (I know, I've owned such iPhones personally). So how could they possible know if yours was any more likely to develop any issues than any of those other trouble free ones?
It's hardware - stuff sometimes breaks randomly. No amout of money ever guarantees or even reduces the likelyhood of random product failures.
Take it in to Apple and see about getting it fixed. -

I'm using Final Cut version 10.1.4 with Yosemite 10.10.2 and whenever I open FCP it opens for about 5 seconds (not allowing me to click anywhere) before closing with the message "Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly. click reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent to apple automatically." I have tried opening it multiple times and the same thing has been happening over and over again and i've tried everything I could find on the internet and nothing is working.
