Hi,
I have attached driver program of smart form to MM01 usinfg nace.
On save smart form should get generated.
Can anybody guide me how to get material number from MM01 in driver program on saving MM01.
as of now am not getting values in smart form.

hi,
use nast table in your import paramaters of smart forms.
In the Nast table you can find a field with object key which holds the Material Number.

How to print BAR code in SMART Form

Hi All,
I have the requirement to print BAR CODE in Smartforms.
For this, I create a character format with Bar code in style forms and create a text element in Smart form and associate bar code character format with this text element.
Now when I look the print preview for the data, then it shows me data in bar code format but not in right format i.e. its shows me all the similar block in bar code.
If you look the bar code in SAP script, its always show you bar code with similar block, but in SMART FORM it will show you exact bar code; as in SAP Script, bar code is generated at printer end and in SMARTFORM bar code is generated as graphic in SAP and then sent to printer for print.
PLease let me know, why in SMARTFORM its not showing BAR CODE in correct format in print preview.

To Create a Bar code prefix:
1) Go to T-code - SPAD -> Full Administration -> Click on Device Type -> Double click the device for which you wish to create the print control -> Click on Print Control tab ->Click on change mode -> Click the plus sign to add a row or prefix say SBP99 (Prefix must start with SBP) -> save you changes , it will ask for request -> create request and save
2) Now when you go to SE73 if you enter SBP00 for you device it will add the newly created Prefix
Create a character format C1.Assign a barcode to the character format.Check the check box for the barcode.
The place where you are using the field value use like this
<C1> &itab-field& </C1>.
You will get the field value in the form of barcode.
Which barcode printer are you using ? Can you download this file and see.

A barcode solution consists of the following:
- a barcode printer
- a barcode reader
- a mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. The most important aspect is to place a parameter in the line of the form that points to the data element that you want to represent as barcode on the form, i.e. material number. Next you need to set the font for that parameter value to one of the supported barcode symbologies.

How to creat 2nd page in smart forms

hi
in smart forms iam facing problem i'e if i gave 10 material's it was comming fine if i give 30 materials it was going to 2nd page in that again from starting it was comming like Header delivery adress.
what i want is if materials increase than main window should increase size & rest of thing(footer )should comes in 2nd window

Hi,
For the header details not to print on the second page:
-> Go to Conditions tab of the window in which u r printing Header delivery address and check the condition 'Only on first Page'
This will solve ur problem.

Smart Form printing issue in repeate page

Hi,
We have one smartfforms printing some notification details in which Only one page layout is use and it is repeated again at one block Upper margin is 18.23 and Height is 9.60 CM on first page it is printing properly but on second page it is stating at Upper margin is 18.23 properly but not printing total height it is printing only two rows on second line.
how to solve it
the block is a interbal table and it is printing material and qty. of that table if material is more means there are more than 8 material then it is printing only upto 11 rows remaining rows it is not printing.

Urgent -- using Standard text in SMart forms

Hi Techi's.
I have created a standard text using SO10 , and included the same in smartform.
But the requirement is , i need to change the format of the standard text with my own style, so i craeted a Smart style with relevant Paragraph and Character formats.
Plz help me out in linking the STandard text with the smart style.
I know how to include smart style in smart form, but the issue is "how to include Smart style for the created Standard Text ".

I use read_text in smart form...how to pass object in this fm....actually there is standard table which maintains data according username......from which we can fetch data required for this fm..i am not getting tasble name..plz can u suggest

I would suggest you to use some other BAPI that would attach your text to BP than SAVE_TEXT.
If you still wanted to use SAVE_TEXT then first make sure how the TDNAME is generated. It depends on the text determination procedure. For examples, it can be guid of BP, GUID followed by date or time or else the BP number itself.
Just go to BP transaction, double click on the text pad, it will open you the SAP Script editor. Click on menu GOTO and select Header which will give you info about your TDID, TDOBJECT, TDNAME....

Mail subject modification for smart-form SMIV

Hi Experts,
We have implemented ServiceDesk in Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 08 & are using automatic notifications to be generated as alert emails to the customer key users / service desk support team / message processors etc.
We are using Actions under transaction SPPFCADM, which is using smart-form AI_CRM_IM_SHORT_TEXT_LINK_FORM for the email content.
We need to modify the notification mail subject as follows -
Current Mail Subject – 80000xxxxxx : <Incident Description>
Required Mail Subject – 80000xxxxxx : <Incident Description> : <Incident Status>
Can you please suggest, how this can be achieved? What modifications are needed in smart form for the same?

Functional specification and logic flow for smart form PO

Dear Friends ,
For PO develelpment in smart form as per client requirement which are the details we need to give for developers . I had given only table and fiels name for the displaying elements in PO , message type , document type . They are asking conditions also , is it this the job of functional consultant ? .
If any one having sample FS for PO plaese send . Other than EKKO , EKPO which are the table are there for PO related...?

Based on your requiremnts you need to give the details of the fields
First List down all the Required fileds to be in the layout like Vendor details, Plant details, delivery details, Material details, Conditions, Terms & conditions.
Based on the above you can get the details from the tables used in PO creation.

Need to show three diff sheets in a smart form , first to be printed twice

I need to show data in a smart form where I have 3 different sheets
     Process order request
     BoM
     Assembly
where the first sheet will be printed twice .
as header in each case we have order no , produced material order qty , qty produced etc with the title changing for each sheet . main window we have diff data depending on each form like it will b changing for process order req, bom , assembly .
how to do that & I need to print each layout in 2 diff language.

Create three pages . The first and the last are static and the second variable.
The first page repeat with a loop twice. The headers of the second pages and next has a window static (the header) and other variable .
If you have two languages repeat the operation. Call the smartform with a parameter called language by example

SMART FORMS- data from internal table issue

Hi ,
       I have a smart form in which I have to print three types of materials of Material Types say M1, M2 ,M3.
In the SMART FORM,Main Window, I have created 3 TABLES for 3 types of Materials ie,
           TableM1,
           TableM2,
           TableM3.
The internal tables to populate these TABLES are
( passing from Print program ).
            t_M1,
            t_M2,
            t_M3
The Number of FIELDS vary in all the tables ,thats why I have created 3 internal tables for Diff Material Types.
But only first TABLE is getting printed ie data inside TableM2, TableM3 are not getting printed.
Can any SMARTFORM Gurus please let me know how I can solve this issue.

Hi,
   Check whether you are mentioning any condition on the data. There are different possibilites of not getting printed. Like the way your displaying, data is in table.
Can you please clearly mention how did you populated the internal table and kept the logic to print the values in the table. So that it problem would be more clearly nown.
