Smart Forms : Total pages greater than 9 printing as *

Hi All,
I have one Smart form having 10 pages.
If the Total pages more than 9 pages its showing as page 9 of * .
but If total pages are less than 10 then its is coming properly as Page 1 of 9.
[Smart Forms Total number pages more than 9 print ing as *;
I have also check this thread and use &SFSY-FORMPAGES(3ZC)& But in this case it is coming page 1 of 01
Please help.

Define the window containing this text as a "late processing window" (General attributes, Window type set to "L Final Window")
(For 46c/46d this option did not exist, there was a solution described in [Note 359009 - Postprocessing and query of the total number of pages|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/359009] for older versions [Note 588352 - '*' when you output the total number of pages|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/588352] suggested to "reserve sufficient space for the number of pages by specifying an explicit length in the formatting options")

Smart Form Second Page

Hi Experts,
I have designed a Smart Form for Sales Order Details which should Display Sales Order line Items using Internal Table.
After Displaying Line Item I have to display Terms & Conditions in Second Page.
I have Created Secondary window in Second Page for Terms & Conditions, while activating it is showing error as "A page without a main window cannot point to itself as next page".
My Requirement is after passing all line items, in Next page to that I have to pass Terms and Conditions.
Ask you solve the issue at the latest.

You cannot have more than one main window in smartform. Check PAGE Attributes of the second page. Remove NEXT and keep a space there.
Set
For FIRST Page : Under General attributes set : NEXT Page = FIRST
For NEXT Page : Under General attributes set :NEXT Page = NEXT
For T&C Page : Under General attributes set :NEXT Page = SPACE
Set the page counter mode to Page and Overrall page unchanged.

Smart form rotate 90 degrees with Zebra printer

Hi Experts,
We are using smart form to design label which need be printed by Zebra printer, and the label need be printed in landscape. Currently we are using the Zebra command '^FWR' in smartform to rotate the field in each window, but the rotated format is very strange. Can anyone let me know how the rotate command work?
It would be highly appreicated if an rotate example can be provided.

The Zebra command ^FWR rotates each individual field by 90 degrees (clockwise). But then you'll have to adjust position of each field again for landscape output.
In ZPL II printer language is no command for rotating label by 90 degrees. The printer driver doesn't understand "orientation=LANDSCAPE".
A slightly better solution could be to define a smartform with portrait orientation. Add a "command node" in first window and enter attribute name "S_LZPL_SETUP" with value '^FWR'.
Please note that this command doesn't has an effect on barcodes. They have their own parameters for rotation. Please define these parameters in SE73 for each barcode type your're using.

Smart form Summary Page

Dear Friends
I have smart form and I have use template for Main window with loop statement, its working and data growing for three pages.
i have another Template for summary and there are 15 rows, i have used loop statement for fill that also.
that thing also working properly
so my problem is , if last page of main window not enough space for display 15summary template hole teplate should be move to next page (new)
so friend i hope your valuable help to solve my problem.

Smart form back page not printing

Hi All,
in a smrt form I am using two pages as first page and term page. for first page the next page is term page with no condition, but it is not getting printed.

If both of ur pages are using main windows then it will not print.
For this you can do one thing let ur first page hold a main window and here donot mention anything in page attributes next page.
simply create a command. check goto next page : term page
Now create a term page and create a secondary window which is of exact size as first window. and page attributes next page :be empty
If you are asking for term page should be printed at the back of first page. then your first page o/p options select print mode to be D (double sided)

How to create Report Writer Form with page longer than 255

As i need to create report writer form with many columns which exceed than 1 acceptable page, how can I create since in writer there is no Horizontal Page as in report painter.

Regarding smart forms- new page

i am having a parameter kunnr(cusotmer number) in selection screen.
I am displaying the output in smartforms with (customer details ) in one window ( secondary window) and following details in main window.
sales order, creation dt, net value, status, delivery no, billing no....related to the cusotmer number.
If a customer has 3 or 4 sales order, then i am getting details displayed in one page.
Now, suppose a customer is having many sales orders( say 50) ..then all sales order details are not displayed...only few are displayed in one page.
I want details should be displayed in more than 1 pages if sales order are more..
How to do this..pls help me.

Hi,
create main window in FIRST page
also copy the main window same as in SECOND page
double click the FIRST page
In general attributes give next page as FIRST
Double click the SECOND page
In general attributes give next page as SECOND
once fill the main window it will flow across the SECOND page

I am using ITC Mobile for iBooks. What is the difference between "Units" and "Total". Sometimes Units is greater than Total, other times Total is greater than Units, and sometimes they are equal. I am so confused.

Error when exexuting a smart form from print program

Hi,
I have created a Print Program & Layout Set [Smart Form].
Now when i executed Print program it is throwing following error.
As internal table that we are passing to F.M is not having any data i have appended some data in debug mode.
After htting Print Immediaely Button Following EXIT Error is coming.
No table is currently processed, switching lines is not possible.
Message no. SSFCOMPOSER 183
Diagnosis
You tried to switch to the next table line, but currently no table is open for output.
System Response
The system issues an error message.
Procedure
This is probably an internal error. Please contact the SAP hotline and report the problem.
Can anybody solve this issue!

Slow down printing speed for Smart Forms

Hi,
Is there any command (etc.) to slow down the printing speed of an Hp laserjet when printing a smart forms?
I need that because when I print that smart form to fast I run into print out quality problems.

take print out in a dot matrix printer instead of your laser printer without changing any settings.
Coz i tried this once, i was successfull. But, the printout will be very slow.

How to print " Duplicate " in FORM ( either Sap Script or Smart Forms ) if trying to take second Print Out and the FORM is already Printed.
Please let me know the condition that we should go for.If possible let me know the SAMPLE code since this will be used in most of the FORMS.

It depends on which print you're working.
If it's a print of standard document you can check the NAST (VSTAT field) table in order to know if the document was printed.
If a message is created you can find the hit in NAST table:
VSTAT = 0, document not printed;
VSTAT = 1, documment printed
VSTAT = 2, print is failed
If you mean a custom print I believe you need to create a log like NAST table.

Transfer Order Printing using smart forms

Hi All
Our requirement is to print Transfer Order ( WM ) for Goods Receipt & Delivery using Smart forms.
Can we change the existing standard format (SAP script ) and use our own form(smart form ) to include some other data & print.
If possible how to replace the SAP script to Smart form.
Request someone could guide in detail.

When you create Smartform try to replace it in customizing OMLV. Not sure if it will work as it refers to Sap Scirpt in help description.
It is also possible to write Z program for TO printing and hardcode SmartForm there.

Variable declared in global definition smart form

We have defined an internal table 'it_table' in the global definition. We are unable to use 'it_table' in 'Page and Windows' loop statement.

Hi Sanjay,
There are 2 cases exist for your problem :
   1. If you are filling the desired internal table and wants to pass that table to your smart form for loop processing than you have to declare it in the form interface ; As the name itself sounds the interface ,Which means it provide an interface to pass data from Print program (Driver program) to smart form.
    But for this the table type can be only the DDIC structure not the one you are declaring in your print program as it will not recognize it.
2. But in second case if you are filling the internal table into your smart from than ,table should be declared in the Global definition.
     The way is as :
     Go to ->global definition->type tab declare the type as :
      types : begin of t_vbap,
          vbeln type vbeln_va,
          posnr type POSNR_VA,
          matnr type matnr,
          netwr type NETWR_AP,
        end of t_vbap.
     Now declare a table type for the previously created type as follows :
     types : it_vbap type t_vbap occurs 0.
     (You can go to SE11 and create a table type there also for same)
     Now go to the Global data tab and declare your table as follows :
     I_VBAP    TYPE   IT_VBAP
     Now I_VBAP will be a table. and you can carry on your processing.
