Smart Phone Control Protocol (SPCP) support after Jan 2014

Hi,
Could anyone help me, what would happen with SPA phones (which supports SPCP) after the EoS of UC540/560 and UC320W?
It would be in the near future (January 2014) and currently I do not know any other Call Control device, which supports SPCP.

This document advice to migrate to CUCMBE 6K, which is completely on a different price level and even does not supports SCPC phones.
Should SMB customers buy BE6K and use all their phones on SIP?

End of Sales for SPA phones is not announced, and probably still far away until their sales will decline enough to justify. Of course, discontinuing UC320 and UC500 is a perfect way for Cisco to sell much less SPA phones.
If Cisco really wants their SPA phone customers to all go 3CX, Digium or whatever, that is their unfortunate choice.
Personally, I'm not affected, because I've never sold not even one of these, as to me they looked inferior and short-lived since the beginning.

The certification will still be valid for SharePoint 2010 but the newest certification is based on SharePoint 2013:

The MCSE: SharePoint 2013 certification includes the three exams needed for MCSA: Server 2012 so to get the latest certification you can achieve MCSA: Server 2012 first and then pass the two additional sharepoint 2012 exams.
The new certification model is no longer based on achieving a product certification by passing one exam (this was the case with the MCTS exams)
The SharePoint 20120 MCTS certification will remain on your transcript after Jan 31 2014 but at some point most company's will move on to SharePoint 2013 the coming years and then the newer certification will have more value.

Smart Sharpen taking forever to load after PS 2014.2 update with only 16 bit images?

Hello,
I am using Photoshop 2014.2.0 20140926.r.236 and I have attached the fill info on the current settings within Photoshop.
I am using Nvidia Titan as video card and the problem occurs whenever I am trying to perform a custom sharpen Photoshop will not respond for several seconds up to 5-10 minutes.
The issue does not occur if I am using the 8bit however it does under 16bits.
I have attempted the following and managed to resolve the hang however it still needs several minutes to process the sharpen.
- Fully checked my windows 8.1 pro;
- Fully cleaned the PC for any temp files, invalid drivers;
- Performed a full system check and repair on windows;
- Checked for any drivers updates for video card, motherboard and BIOS, none available;
- Uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled it
- Tried all of the different advanced graphics settings including having it off and only using cpu.
- Put useable memory low in Photoshop preferences and back to default.
- Uninstalled my virus protection and tested it
Please if you can help me resolve this issue that would be great.

Hi,
First, I suggest to reset the router, meanwhile disable the network card and enable it again, because it is obviously network issue.
Then, as you post this happened after windows update, try to find the update that was already installed on your computer

That's because part of iOS7 had code in it to look for and recognize unsigned cables.
In other words, Apple knew that people used non-signed ones and didn't care....until last month when they decided to care. People with iOS6 and lower should experience no issues (unless Apple patches those iOS versions) but folks with iOS7 will need to deal with it.

Phone control but CSFs not even Registering

So I have a lab set up where I have two clusters that do not interact at all other than I use the laptops to talk to both clusters.
I have two laptops with two different version of jabber installed.
They are both point to cluster b. The jabber client once where looking at cluster a.
After changing to cluster b I have phone control of deskphones, im and presence, but no soft phone control, softphones show up with red xs.
On CUCM CSF say unregistered.
Under connection status I get
Status: Not connected
Reason: Connection error. Ensure the server information in the Phone Services tab on the Options window is correct. Contact your system administrator for assistance.

Anyone got any ideas on this?

I have successfully installed Java 2 Micro Edition 8.1 on my computer, and the Micro EditionNnetbeans plugin in.
I am programming with netbeans. In order to create a new project, I need to have the
Java ME Embedded Emulator (Oracle) going on a near-enough virtual mobile phone. I can either
virtualise my phone entirely, or used a real phone plugged in.
-Is there a command line tool that comes with my version of micro edition java
which can generate a JAD file from a completed, manifest-written executable
.Jar file?
-Can someone tell me what to do with the emulator to get it running in either mode,
given that I know all the manufacturing details about my particular Smart Phone?

It depends on how advanced the midlet will be. If standard components are used, the app should work everywhere, otherwise it need to be tested (it need to be tested always). If You need to write a midlet with Location API You first need to find a device that has this api implemented to test your application and the start writing. One importatnt thing, if a device in it's specification has written that it support Location API it doesn't have to mean that it's supported fully, some functions may not be implemented. As You can see here for instance. If You are not familiar with midlets start with a tutorial for beginners and after finishing try using more advanced APIs.

Still getting conflicting answers about upgrading a line to smart phone

A the risk of incurring the ire of some people, I simply feel compelled to restate my question about converting a basic (existing line) phone to a smart phone after 6/28. My question is sincere not asked in a cynical way, and I am still unsure of the answer because of differing answers even within the official ranks of verizon. I understand all the elements of the 'awesome' new share plan (even though I prefer to avoid it for now). So, if anyone knows where to find the specific documentation that refers to this would you please offer links to said documents. Direct answers, even from people who Identify themselves as support personnel (here in forums) have as recently as yesterday, been shown wrong. While I offer thanks to anyone just for the effort of replying I would prefer authoritative responses, and here again, individuals have (as often as support reps) given accurate answers. Simply stated once more I would like to know "When I need to upgrade my daughters phone In AUGUST, from a basic phone to a smart phone will verizon allow me to purchase the phone upgrade AND add 2gb data package for 30$". There would seem to be no ambiguity in the question, however in the face of opposing answers it just defies logic . The ONLY reason I am confused is because verizon reps have at been odds with each other. Documents are more reassuring and if anyone can offer links I would appreciate it. I have even considered acquiring a phone from outside vzw but had been told even that avenue would not allow me to add a data package to my EXISTING account. Truth oh truth how illusive thou be.
P.S. strictly for the sake of discussion, I will say that my viewpoint of the low quality of VZW customer service reflects this and other instances of inaccurate and false answers from this company. They just get it wrong too much to have a high rating from me even though others may have had different experiences.

I imagine that this would be the same as upgrading a basic phone to a smart phone. You can add a data package to the line you are upgrading (that it currently does not have) and it won't affect the unlimited on your Droid's line(s). It's only when you try to upgrade the lines that currently have unlimited that you won't be able to keep the unlimited data. You can choose to move everybody on the plan to a shared data plan, or move to a tiered data plan. You just can't keep unlimited when you upgrade at a discounted price.

Unable to display Crystal Reports 2008 PDF output on smart phones

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum, but here goes. I am just finishing a large ASP.NET web app which makes extensive use of Crystal Reports 2008 and a CrystalReportViewer control. My users routinely e-mail the reports in PDF format. This works great, except now they tell me that when the recipient of the e-mail tries to open the PDF on an iPhone or Blackberry, it will not open. The PDF's open fine on desktop computers.
Here is the code which generates the PDF and attaches it to the e-mail msg.

What happens if you export from Crystal Reports designer?
I just tried if and BlackBerry tells me I am about to download a file that cannot be viewed on the phone. It doesn't say why though.
Going through the Platforms file it doesn't mention smart phones so it would indicate we don't support them in that format.
HTML worked but not pretty. You'll have to see what Blackberry does support. I found this one kbase article from them:

X220 Smart Audio Control Panel failed to initialize smart audio

Cannot seem to start Smart Audio control panel get error every time. Currently running latest driver 8.32.23.2. Can anybody please help? I need to access the Smart Audio to control displayport audio settings. Aside from that the audio seems to work fine.

Yes, this is what I thought also. But I don't think it does. It has the s-bracket JSP2 connector but it (s-bracket) doesnt work.
It really doesnt matter now though as you can see I listed it on ebay with my old cpu. I will likely buy me an EPoX 8RDA+. It outperforms the 6570 in performance and has all the bells and whistles.
MSI has some horrible customer service. However, I must admit you have been very responsive and helpful but, you are not live tech suport.

I called their support long distance number and was on hold for about 45 minutes, off and on, and the last time I was on hold I put my phone on speakerphone and went in the other room. The guy came back on said, "hello sir? Hel..Click!" I didn't have time to say anything! I was so pissed I wanted to take my motherboard back right then. He kept having to ask other people questions about my problem. It was just plain rediculous. That is just one of the reasons this motherbaord is on ebay. I about to put my MSI Geforce4 4600 vtd on ebay also because I dont want to have to deal with MSI CS.

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 4.

I am using windows 8.1 and www.astrill.com VPN. before it was working, but now its not working. I tried to connect VPN for last 4 days.
