Smart Playlist: I want to make a smart playlist that plays songs by artists included in other playlists. How?

Here's an example: I have a smart playlist that only plays songs that have been played 2 or more times (Playlist A). I want to make another smart playlist (B) that plays songs by the artists included on playlist A but that are songs not included on playlist A because they have not been played two times yet.
I could do this by making a smart playlist that says to play:
Any songs
not included on Playlist A
by artists included on Playlist A
But for the life of me, I can not figure out how to do this simple thing. My options for Playlist are only "is" or "is not".
I hope that the reason for this is clear - I want to listen to other tracks by artists who have written songs I know I like.

But I have to say, I don't know why that the "is/is not included in" field would not be an option. They oughtta add it!
The problem is that the Smart Playlist rules, although they look complicated, are really oriented to analyzing individual tracks. So "is this track in Playlist A" is easy to do, but "is this track by an Artist for which there is at least one track in playlist A," is currently undoable. However, you can make suggestions to Apple by using the iTunes Feedback page:

You have to add another email address on one of the two devices that you can use as the "You can be reached for FaceTime at" contact address and then remove/uncheck the Apple ID email address as the contact address on that device. The way you are currently setup is like to trying to call yourself on your on phone - from your own phone.
Using the iPad as the example go to Settings>FaceTime>You can be reached for FaceTime at>Add another email address. Then add a working email address in the next window. Apple will verify the email. Go to the inbox of that email account, read and respond to Apple's email in order to complete the verification process.
Go back to Settings>FaceTime>Uncheck the Apple ID email address and make sure that the new email address is checked/selected (you will see it being verified again) and that new email address will be your contact address for the iPad.

If you mean a PDF document and want to separate it into several parts, there is no way of doing it with just the free Reader, buy it can be done with Acrobat. If you are talking of another type of document, please post full details.

Then back it up and do a restore. If that does not work and if you are still under warranty, call Apple tech support or take the iPod to your local Apple Store or an AASP.

Hello and HELP! Over the years I have saved Invoices in my Documents. I have just tried to open them and all I am getting is " cannot be opened, Invoice**** is used by another user, do you want to make a copy?" That's on all my invoices.

Did you recently reinstall the OS then copy all your files back over? Do a Get info on one of the documents and see if your current UserName is listed and has Read & Write permissions. If not select the Documents folder and check that for Read & Write permissions for your UserName. If it doesn't have R & W permissions Add it so it does.

There isn't a mechanism to do what you want.
One way to approach it would be to put all the playlists that you want to be mutually exclusive into a playlist folder, let's call it Exclusive, and create a smart playlist matching all the rules Playlist is Music, and Playlist is not Exclusive. Call this playlist Selection, for example. When you want to add content to one of the Exclusive playlists add it from Selection and you won't add the same track twice. It requires a little discipline but is probably the best that can be achieved with the tools hand.

No, you do not want H.264 file at all. And if you do use a H.264 it will re-encoded as a MPEG-2 file, which means it will be double compressed, which always results in a loss in quality. Also be aware that you are working in SD resolution, which means 740x480 for NTSC video, not 1280x720.

Sorry. - I don't know the answer to your question.
I always assumed that "All Searchable Metadata" meant "Any Of The Fields You Can See In Lightroom". In other words, I thought it was just a convenience when you didn't know what field you wanted, or as a shortcut for specifying them all.
It's possible "All Searchable Metadata" includes fields you can't otherwise see as well, I just don't know - sorry.
Maybe somebody else knows the answer to your question (you can test this, I just haven't).
But if you can't get at it via Lr native, try one (or all) of the previously mentioned plugins.
* AnyFilter can access any info available to the SDK (i.e. available to plugins without resorting to external applications like exiftool), which includes things you can't get at via the native Lr user interface (but it can't get at all exif metadata).
* ExifMeta can get at all exif metadata.
* DevMeta is for develop settings metadata and includes a few bonus items.

Firefox Sync works thru a server, either Mozilla's sync server or a local sync server the user has running on their own LAN. There's no way to sync the data to a thumb drive unless it has a version of Firefox on that thumb drive.
You didn't mention which "settings" are involved, but you can export your Firefox bookmarks in HTML format to a thumb drive, and view that bookmarks.html file on any web browser on just about any operating system.

For your other personal data in Firefox, there is no real solution outside of using Firefox.

How do I make a music link that plays on the open page?

I want to display a image of a violin and have a on-off and slider bar underneath that shows playing progress for a short violin tune.
As it is, I have a link to the mp3 file which, when clicked, opens another page and shows the slider bar and start/volume control. I would like it to stay on the same page that the user is viewing when he/she clicks on the violin.
Can you help me with possible link on how this should be done? Or, give me a run-down on the steps to do this correctly in Dreamweaver? Can this be done simply in Dreamweaver or does it need to be done in another application like Flash?
