Smart Print 2.1 not available - no toolbar, using Firefox

Windows 7, Firefox browser .... installed Smart Print 2.1 (confirmed) but there is no HP tool bar or access to Smart Print.

I have a PSC 1315 printer I have been using for several years on a system with Windows XP without any problem. After
purchasing an HP Pavilion 500 with Windows 8.1 Pro, I migrated my printer to the new computer. I was disallowed to use the
original driver, and was directed to download the latest driver and software for this printer from an HP website. At
first, things seemed ok, until I ran across several issues, one of which is this one.
Whenever I try printing a PDF file, Windows 8 does not let me see printer preferences. My work around is to go into
printer properties and save changes as default, then I can print PDF files. What happened to the preferences window? It
appears I have lost functionality with the upgrade.
Is this a known problem, and what's the solution?

Printer status is not available at this time

I'll try to show how the company's environment is. We have a Windows Server 2008 Standard
edition which is our File server and Print Management as well. We have a total of 5 deployed
printers and all of them except 2 work really well. These 2 printers are exactly the same
"Phaser 8560 Xerox". All drivers are placed on the Server, so all computers download the
drivers whenever They need it for a specific printer. Example: a new employe wants to
print something on the Phaser 8560 printer but his/her computer doesnt have any drivers
installed. The installation is easy: Start>Settings>Printers>Add Printer>Network Printer option>Find a printer in the directory>Look for Phaser and add it. When I choose the printer and press ok it takes like 20 seconds to get the driver from the server and its all done.
Here is the problem:
Whenever I try printing something on the Phasers It does print but a message:"Printer status is not available at this time" pops up right away. The process of printing works but the message keeps coming up. We have almost 150 computers and all of them show the same message. We have the latest drivers in the Server.
With the old driver this message didnt use to show up, so I guess the problem is the driver.

As far as I know, PrintingScout is feature of Phaser 8560 printer. It alerts you when print jobs are interrupted and suggests appropriate remedies. When you send a document to the Phaser 8560, the Xerox-exclusive PrintingScout utility monitors and reports any printer condition that might prevent a print job from completing successfully. A pop-up help window provides appropriate how-to instructions, illustrations and links to help the print job owner quickly identify and resolve his or her printing problem. This way, when end users must visit the printer, they are completely prepared to fix any problems. Since you don’t find the PrintingScout button, I suspect that you should uninstall the print driver and update the proper driver from the following link.

What happened?

When you right-click the link, the page immediately tells you you can't copy, or does that occur after you choose Copy Link Location?
If it appears immediately, you can switch a setting in Firefox that should prevent sites from blocking the normal right-click menu. Here's how you would do that:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''context''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''dom.event.contextmenu.enabled''' preference to switch it from true to false.
This setting does have a complication: On Google Maps and other sites that have their own right-click menu, Firefox's menu then will block the site's menu. To clear Firefox's menu so you can access the site's menu tap either the Alt key or Esc key once (but sometimes Esc removes both).

I did the same site and Rich text editing with Opera,
and there was no problem.

Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to print by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar may appear under the cursor. Click the printer icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and check the box marked
Allow Plug-ins
Then click
Manage Website Settings...
and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
Step 4
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

Do as in Step 3 with this line:

In our application 'export excel' option is present in 4 different pages. Using Jquery to calling the excel. All the excels working in development environment in both IE and FF. In testing env, all the excels working fine in IE. But only 2 pages excel are working in FF in testing env. Remaining not working and 'The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading' error page appears when we click on 'export excel' button.
More, all the Export excel option is supported in http URL but mentioned two only not supported in https using firefox.
Dev server OS is windows...QA / Prod server OS is Linux.
Application running on Interent site.
No specific instructions for exporting data to Excel (note: same scenario working on IE & FF in Dev env)

Trying to download smart printing says can not compelete because I need to uninstall bing

First thing to do is close all web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari.....) and then open add/remove programs in control panel. Search either for Bing Toolbar or MSN Toolbar. Once you find what it is listed under (depends on the original install whether from HP or MS) then click uninstall. Once that is done, you should be able to restart your web browser and it will gone. You may have to restart your system before downloading/installing Smart Web Printing.

Photoshop (CS6) do not print - dialog is not available

The Photoshop of my CS6 do not print. I use different networkprinters (Canon iR-ADV C2220 / 2230). When i try to start the print menue come nothing up except the error box which say that the connection to the printer is not available, and i should select an other printer. Unforunatelly was not come any dialog form.
After this try are much menues deactivated.
The Acrobat print without any problem.
What can i doing to let the Photoshop print?

You can also use a FTP client (or your browser if it supports FTP) and download from the Adobe FTP server (ftp.adobe.com). The files are in /pub/adobe/cs6/downloads :
Windows (launch the .exe which will open the 7z file):

CS5 print as PDF not available

I'm not an experienced or professional Illustrator user but have created several PDFs up until a couple of weeks ago with no problem.
Today I am trying to export or print to PDF and the PDF option has disappeared from both export and save dialogue boxes. The only option for printing is Adobe PostScript file (I have no printer connected). The option is not available in any of my AI files. I last printed 3 weeks ago and didn't have any problem. I don't believe I have made any fundamental changes to the Illustrator setup.
I'm using CS5 15.0.0 on a MacBook Pro running Lion OS 10.7.2.
I am sure it's an easy fix.
Any ideas much appreciated

I am not sure why this has happened now though I do now understand that this is a Mac 'issue'.
I've successflly created a PS file but none of the print options were available so I ended up with two A4 sized pages when I wanted two business cards with 5mm bleed.
Where can I change these settings?

Why do people using other brands of smart phones get a "not available" message when they try to view vids that I made on my iPhone 4s?

I made a video on my iPhone 4S and e-mailed to another party to view. The other party told me he could not view it. He said he got a "not available" message when trying to view it. Next I sent the video to him in a text message. He had the same problem again.

I will need a little more information in order to help out. What version of Internet Explorer did you down load it to? Smart print is compatible with IE and the versions that is compatible with are 6-9. Depending on the version, you might see at the top in the toll bar on the very right side a icon that look like this: >>, click on that and sometimes you will find the smart print Icon located there. Right click in that bar and go to Customize> Add or remove commands, and then it will allow you to rearrange the icons and then click Reset.
