Whats about the new Smart Tags NT3? I´m using the existend 6 colors with my sony devices, can i use all 4 of them also?
Some of the colors already exists in my collection

The new SmartTags differs a bit in design and whats new is that you can actually assigned the tags themselves with what they should communicate with any NFC device. Not just saying "Hey, I'm red" then let the phone decide what to do with the red tags.

Can't detect Smart Tags on my Xperia P

Hi, I bought my Xperia P 3 weeks ago along with a couple of Smart Tags but when I turn on NFC and held it next to the tags nothing happened. I have tried turning the phone off and on again and turning the NFC off and on again but still nothing happens. Thinking this was a firmware issue I waited for an update and now I am on 6.0.B.3.184 but with no luck. I did a 'Phone Software Restore' on Sony Bridge for Mac to get the new firmware, as updating the regular way always faild for some reason and tried NFC before installing any apps but still it didn't work.
Is anyone else having the same issue? can anyone help? my tags are just sitting there on my desk with no use.

If NFC is enabled and you put your tag over the sensor (under the camera lens) and nothing happens I suggest that you contact your local support team to have your phone examined at an repair center to get it fixed.

How do I delete smart tags

Hi, this Neanderthal cant delete the smart tags from all his pictures which show pic quality. Answers on a postcard.....many thanks

Are you able to delete the smart tags now?
If you dont need the smart tags, change your preferences by clicking on Edit->Preferences->Media-Analysis.
Also, for removing the tag, right click on the images and select the Remove Keyword tag option.

BAPI For Cost Center Smart Tag

Hi Experts
I need to Create a BAPI that retrieves the planned and actual budget details for a given cost center. This will need to be restricted per Cost Center based on Employees ID associated to that cost center. This BAPI wil be used to create the Cost Center Smart Tag.

Create a customise BAPI then just like a simple function module select those fields which u want to import
make it RFC enable

Smart tags

I really like the Smart Tags app for BB 10, but one feature I am expecting to use the most is missing. The app can not write a tag which would start hotspot. As long as it seems taht users can not add reviews in the app world I am writing here. So please consider updating the up with the turn on/off hotspot option.

Have you tried:
Edit > Select All
And then right-click to delete selected tags? It is worth a try but don't know if it is going to work.

Merge Smart tags of different languages

Hi,
I started by installing PSE8, the French version and let it run the analyser for quite a while.
I then decided to replace it with the English version and now I ended up with 2 different sets of Smart tags
French and English. How do I move the French Smart tags onto the corresponding english ones, and then delete
the French tags when they are empty?

The People tags created by the automatic face recognition (the Find People For Tagging command) do inded store the facial features and the rectangles identifying individual faces associated with the tag. So if you delete such a People tag, you lose that information.
However, a Smart Tag is associated with the entire photo, and there isn't any information extracted from the photo used to identify other photos, such as there is with face recognition. So deleting a Smart Tag won't affect future tagging by the Auto-Analyzer.

How can i delete the label "smart Tags". I am using the Dutch version where it is calle "Slimme Tags

I used Photoshop Elements 6,7,8,9,10 and now 11.
In the passed period I had have an english version and therefore excists the laber smart tags in English and Dutch language.
That 's is why i like to delete de Englih Labels. But how?

i don't think it would be possible to do so since Smart Tags cannot be deleted from the tag tree. In your case, you must be having two sets of smart tags one in EN and one in NL, neither of which can be deleted.

How do I Disable Smart Tags?

How do I turn off smart tags? I am not sure if that is the correct name for them. Everytime I click any button lately, I get a dropdown menu; it is getting very frustrating. I am sure I have clicked on something that activated this, but cannot find what it was and how to change it; help please!

Smart Tags. Maybe, you might want to make a picture of the tag, and show it here. It sounds like you might have unintentionally activated Tabs whenever a new window is opened in Safari; if that's the case, go to Safari/Preferences/Tabs, and unclick the second window.
In any case, post here with your results.

Smart Tags - Open with Option

when I scan a smart Tag, I've the option called "Open with" which list few softwares to open my tag with.
My question is "Why these softwares only" for example, I've scanned a Geo Location and I expected that it can be opened in BB Maps .. but that is not possible right now.

? Remove Smart Tags from Multiple photos in PSE 8

I need to remove the Smart Tags assigned to about 1,000 photos without removing the other tags (People, Places, etc) assigned to the photos (each photo has 2-3 tags). Is there a way to do this as a group or batch? I can't believe that PSE would make you do this one-by-one. Thanks.

Hmm, I just tried it again and it removed all the Smart Tags from the selected photos. Most likely, you left-clicked at some point, causing the selection to move to just the photo being clicked. So try exactly this:
1. Edit > Select All.
2. Right-click one of the selected thumbnails.
3. Choose Remove Keyword Tag.

Acoustic feedback in Smart Tag (NFC App)

is there a way to get a acoustic feedback in the Smart Tag (native NFC app)? I have programmed some well working actions (BT off, WiFi off and so on), but I get no feedback if the action was sucessfully. It would be nice, if someone could tell me a idea or a workaround.

My whole catalogue was nearly lost due to a failed external hard drive. Professional help recovered photos but I can't find my smart tags. Is it possible they were lost on failed drive?

Hi,
In order to recover the tags/albums, etc, you need to have the catalog db. Since currently you only have images, the organization done in the older catalog is probably lost.
Which version of PSE you have and is there any chance, that you have access to catalog location (default is : %programdata%\adobe\elements organizer\catalogs on Windows and ~/library/app support/adobe/organizer/catalogs on MAC) ?

Smart Tag Dump

I want to send an e-mail to all my contacts and smart tags in outlook, to inform my new and master e-mail address. Is there any way to dump all smart tags in order to easy choosing which ones will or will not receive my message?

CuciLync Smart Tags / Desktop Integration

Hello,
We are using the CuciLync client with Microsoft Lync. We are able to make/receive calls, etc successfully, so the installation is working fine however we are unable to dial from 'smart tags' inside Internet Explorer and MS Office applications. It always attempts to make the call via the actual Lync client. Is this controlled by a registry setting or something which can allow the CuciLync client preference over Lync?
We can not disable Telephony features in Lync iteslf, as it is used for video conferencing unfortunately.
Please help!

Sorry mate, but I don't think you're going to like this response.
If you haven't figured out yet... CUCI-LYNC doesn't integrate with the Microsoft Smartag (or similiar).
The Click to Call application is embedded in all your apps when you install CUCI-LYNC so you can right click and dial the number on the screen
However, this does mean that right clicking a name in sharepoint / outlook etc doesn't work and will always invoke the Lync functionality. As you've obviously read, Cisco recommends disabling the smarttags in Office and also setting the User's telephony mode to "5" and disabling video conferencing from Lync.

If you're in outlook then the option to call the sender or mail recipients is now in the HOME ribbon. Works well, but is nowhere near as nice as the native Microsoft option...

10.2 rollout issues: Smart Tag and Freezing

After 10.2 rollout, Smart Tag has been constantly activating without me trying to read any smart tags. I'd like to shut it off but don't see that option on the pop up window. Thoughts? Also, I am freezing up frequently especially when going btw email and browser. is BB aware?

Similar here, (10.3.1.1779) then After restart twice the same, now appears to be ok again..
