Smartband and Google+ notifications

Hi There,
just received my Z2 with bundled smartband yesterday - loving it so far!
I only wonder if notifications for google+ will be added to the apps list, as this would make the smartband my perfect companion.

I just realised that you can tap into notification and get more settings.
By the way, Google + is there in the list:

I've had my blackberry bold 9700 since the 11th June. Since then i've had troubles reciving emails and facebook notifications. Sometimes they come though but not for a good 15 mins - 1 hour and sometimes they don't even come through at all! does anyone know what i need to do? i tried a new hanset still didnt do it, rang o2 they dont know as all settings are right their end.. anyone? thanks

Smartband and sleep as an droid

Hi I just got an Z2 with an swr10 included, and I have used sleep as an droid for a long time,I found that you are recommending "sleep as an droid" and even have it listed in "Sony select" that is why I was surprised that it do not support the swr10 smartband, so I posted a question on their forum ( https://groups.google.com/forum/embed/?parenturl=https%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2Fsite%2Fsleepasandroid%2Fforum&service=jotspot&ul=1&place=forum%2Fsleep-as-an-droid&showpopout=true&showsearch=true#!topic/sleep-as-an-droid/NoBF7UV4m90 ) and to my suprize they do not have any api information on swr10 so it's not posible for them to support swr10 at the moment. I'd like to see integrtaion with myfitnesspal.com and similar sites. They already support over 50 apps and fitness trackers, I'd like to see the SWR10 get added to that list. I've heard (but not confitmed) that they (myfitnesspal) do the intergration, they just need the web API to get to the step and related data.

Why do i get chrome and google toolbar?

Hello,
This morning flash asked me to update to the latest flashplayer. After clicking "download", explorer starts and on the site there is a button "update". After clicking on the button, not only flash gets updatet. Chrome and google toolbar is also installed... Why? There is no checkbox to prevent this.. Why?
Why is adobe doing this? When you install chrome... you don't need google toolbar..right? Please make a checkbox for the next update. Now i have to uninstall google toolbal..again..

The screenshot you posted is a screenshot of the installation of flash on a computer without flash.
I was talking about a update, I already had flash installed but i got a notification from the program that a update was availible.
I updated te program, how do i make a screenshot? It's not possible to update it again.
I'm sure there was no checkbox. The whole page was different from the screenshot you posted. For example the yellow butten didn't say 'download now' but 'update'.
I just don't understand why adobe wants to install google toolbar on my computer. Chrome i can live with, but google toolbar is a stupid programm.

I'm not familiar with Google Drive but in basic Bridge is a browser that is able to view content of folders on your internal and external HardDrives. Some people manage to view files using a network environment but Bridge is not developed for this purpose.
If you have other situations like files in Libraries or catalogs (LightRoom and iPhoto to name a view) then Bridge is not capable in viewing this content, only the original applications can do so. Maybe Google Drive is similar and using a structure that is not directly viewable?

E540 and google drive

Hello, I got an E540 i7 with an 256gb SSD. It works fine and very fast, also google drive does not cause problems. However when I shut down the Notebook (which goes very fast aswell) he gives me a message that google drive sync.exe prevents windows from shutting down. I have the feeling that the Notebook wants to shut down fast than google drive is able to close, as with my old Notebook, much slower, google drive had more than enough time to close until shutdown. I googled this, found only once this subject going back to 2012, and there was no solution for this. Is it possible that the Notebook is to fast for google drive? Should I adresse this problem to google itself? Or is something else causing this problem?

Apple Mail and Google Apps (personal domain) - 554 554 Denied Mail Delivery Subsystem (Intermittent Failure)

Hello,
I am having problems with my Apple Mail and Google Apps and I don't know what to do. I have been using apple mail with google apps for a few months now with no complications. In the last week I have recieved a handful of messages from the Mail Delivery Subsystem citing error "554 554 Denied". I know that the emails I have tried to send to are real emails and are entered correctly. I tried to send directly from google apps to one of these people today and it worked so I assume the problem is with Apple Mail, or is intermittent. Adding to my frustration is that it works with some people and not with others so it's hard for me to see exactly what is causing the problem.
Any ideas?
I'll include a copy of one of the Mail Delivery Subsystem emails I recieved - excluding the email address and message body.

For mail issue, I had the same problem. My mail password was different than my itunes password and when I changed mail to itunes password, it started working again. Not sure about the google apps issue.

N9, missing SMS and chat notifications during musi...

Hope somebody can help, as I've spent many hours Googling for the solution. Just got a new N9 64Gb, learning to find my way around.
I have a huge problem with notifications. Basically my phone is my MP3 player for my lifestyle. I'm trying out free Sigma player since it plays by the folder. With incoming phone calls, music stops and a ringtone comes through. Not the case with SMS and chat notifications. As long as music is paused, I hear SMS/chat notifications. Nokia music player does the same thing. N9 earbuds or 5800 earbuds, no difference. Unless I'm staring at the screen, I miss SMS and chats.
With 5800, I was able to listen to music/audio books all day (used FolderPlay), and SMS and chat notification interrupted the playback no problem. I don't seem to be able to do the same with N9. Is there a solution to this? Am I missing something in the settings?
I'm getting desperate. Help?

You can try the following solutions:
1. Uninstall and re-install the application.
2. Update the application. If there's an available update.
If it's still the same, then it's best to coordinate your concern with the publisher of the application. They'll be able to help you with your concern.

Is that possible Facebook Notifications and email notifications on sleeping screen nokia 808 like it had on N9..
On my 808 it shows only msgs and miscalls....any fix??

not possible unless the app supports that behaviour. but email notifications and on notification lights has been broken on Symbian for a while, and as Symbian is in maintenance mode, is unlikely to see a fix, possibly ever.

Jabber and Voicemail Notifications

Hello guys!
Is it possible to receive voicemail notification on both jabber and desk phone at the same time? For example, if a user has a desk phone as primary extension on CUCM 8.6, the Unity use that extension for VM. But if the user has also a jabber client version 9.x for Windows and wants to receive voicemail on jabber, what is the best design option? Assign the same DN to both jabber and desk phone?
Also, I set up visual voicemail for jabber but left a voicemail in jabber and no notification appeared, where should i look into? The voicemail server and profile with users were added in CUP.
Note: The scenario is a BE6000 platform with CUCM8.6, CUCxN,8.6, CUP8.6 and CUPM8.6.

Why would you have different extensions on desk phone vs. jabber? Normally this is not desired for user to manage 2 different numbers.
If however that is a requirement you can always define alternate extension on Unity Connection.
For VM configuration did you configure all the service in CUPS server, i.e. mailstore?

these will help you if you want to send mail to Outlook or external address.
or you can also create your own function module using these.

Facebook and skype notifications

I have a lumia 920 and can't get fb and skype notifications work.
The worked just after the installation of the apps, but then they stopped working.
The apps are fine, I just don't see toast nor tile notifications.
Any ideas? This isn't a borderline issue for a smartphone..

I'm not talking about FB chat. That is ok on my phone.
I'm referring to facebook notifications instead (comments, likes and so on):
Me tile has too much limited functionalities (for instance no groups notifications..), thus I installed FB Microsoft app.
In the app notifications are sometimes working. But most of the time I couldn't get them, even after a long time after their publishing.
It seems to be a facebook app issue in this case, but is it possible on a smartphone to lack social functionalities like this? I'm not talking about minor socials web sites, but Facebook.
The forum is plenty of topics describing exactly this issue, but no solutions yet.
Does someone have any news?

I can not open my email in hotmail. I can open hotmail, see the fact that I have emails but it won't allow me to open them. this just started 2 days ago and has always worked before . I can open using IE and Google Chrome

I found I could not open my email within hotmail. Hotmail itself works in IE and Google Chrome so I know it is FF. I can open the account but not individual emails nor can I delete junk mail. Nothing within the hotmail window seems to work.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

For CRM 2007/7.0 IE8 was release conditionally. Basically it defaults IE8 back to compatibility mode when viewing CRM from IE8. Please take a look at the following OSS Notes

I haven't seen anything for Chrome and Firefox 3 in terms of official support right now.
