SmartCurve Plugin PS Elements 11 unter Win 8.1

Habe gerade mehrfach versucht, die Irfan Plugins als Erweiterung zu Photoshop Elements 11 zu installieren, zuvor schon SmartCurve solo, die Dateien liegen in den Plug-Ins, werden aber trotzdem nach Programmstart Photoshop Elements nicht angezeigt.
Auf einem alten PC mit Win XP funktionierte es einwandfrei, auf neuem PC mit Win 8.1 werden die Plugins nicht angezeigt. Noch keine Lösungshinweise gefunden.

I’ve double clicked on the application file and I get the message:
“The file archive part of Photoshop Elements 11 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. Please download all parts.”
I see that others have had the same problem but I haven’t seen a solution yet.

Bei mir in der Firma ging's bis jetzt problemlos, CS5 Projekte mit CS6 zu bearbeiten.
Zum Windows7 Kompatibilitätsproblem kann ich Dir leider nicht helfen.
Wie es sich mit 3rd Party Plugins verhält, hab ich noch nicht getestet.
Aber die Installation von CS6 lohnt sich in jedem Fall.
Zur Sicherheit kannst Du ja erstmal die 5er zusätzlich installiert lassen.

PSE12 Installation unter Win 7 Prof. 64bit bleibt immer hängen!

Ich habe seit Wochen sämtliche geposteten Install.Problemlösungstips von Adobe ausprobiert, immer mit demselben Ergebnis: Die Installation bleibt immer hängen beim Punkt: "Installation: erforderliche gemeinsam genutzte Technologien".
Ich habe einen Ordner mit den Installationsdateien im Quellverzeichnis von C: eingerichtet und installiere von dort aus. Sauberer Neustart, Installation von einem neuen Admin.Konto, alles nach Tips des Adobe Supports ausprobiert = immer gleiches Ergebnis wie oben. In meiner Verzweiflung habe ich die Zweitinstallation auf meinem Ultrabook unter Win 8.1 (Allerdings noch fast jungfräulich) ebenfalls von der Festplatte vorgenommen - lief ohne Probleme - scheint also kein Fehler auf der Installations-DVD zu sein (von der ich die Kopien auf den Festplatten erstellt habe). Eine längere Chat-Sitzung mit dem Adobe-Support hat mich auch nicht weiter gebracht - KANN JEMAND HELFEN?????

Plugins from Elements 8 to CS5

Hi I have just upgraded from Elements 8 to CS5. My question if anyone can help is I have lots of plugins in Elements
Flood, Topaz Adjust 4, Nik Complete that I use in elements can and if so how do you copy these to CS5?
Or do I have to reload everything?

With the caveat that not many folks here are familiar with Elements—that's why there's a separate Photoshop Elements forum—I'd say you need to determine that there are 64-bit versions of those plug-ins, then try installing said 64-bit plug-ins in CS5 with their original installer or following whatever installation instructions the developers provide you with.
But, yes, you have to install everything from scratch in any event. Do not copy or clone them from your Elements install.

Is there a plugin for Elements 12 which will allow me to download/edit raw images from a Nikon D70?

I am currently using a Nikon D70 and would like to edit the raw files. I think Adobe did a Camera Raw plugin for Elements 3.0 but I would obviously like to buy the newest version of the software and need to know whether it will still meet my demands. If not, how do you get your hands on an old version of Elements?

Yes, photoshop elements 12 should open your Nikon D70 camera raw files just fine.

Trouble installing RAW plugin for Elements 10

Getting "Installation failed" when I try to install the 6.6 RAW format plugin for Elements 10. This occurs only on my 32-bit Windows 7 system; when I install on my 64-bit Windows 7 system everything works fine.

Mehrere Bilddateien gleichzeitig öffnen geht in Photoshop CS6 (32bit unter WIN 8 pro) nicht

Bis Photoshop CS4 (unter WIN XP, SP3) war ich es gewohnt, ein leeres Photoshop-Fenster zu öffnen und dann gleich einen ganzen Schwung von Bilddateien direkt aus dem Windows-Explorer in das Photoshop-Fenster zu ziehen (neben dem Mauszeiger erschien ein Plus-Zeichen, sobald er sich über dem leeren Fenster befand), wo sie dann als separate Fenster geöffnet wurden.
Jetzt bei Photoshop CS6 (32 bit) unter WIN 8 pro (64 bit), wird mir diese Möglichkeit nicht mehr geboten. Neben dem Mauszeiger erscheint statt eines Plus- ein Verboten-Zeichen und ein "Fallenlassen" der Dateien ins Photoshop-Fenster ist nicht mehr möglich.
Die Photoshop CS 6 64bit-Variante hat dieses Problem dagegen NICHT, sie reagiert so, wie oben das alte PS CS4.
Hinweis:
Wegen des "Kodak-Airbrush-Filters" musste ich die 32bit-Variante von Photoshop CS 6 wählen und diese auch noch im Kompatibilitätsmodus von WIN XP (SP3) starten lassen.
Kann das der Grund dafür sein?

Ah - dann geht wenigstens das "Mehrfachmarkieren" und Öffnen via Kontextmenü. Aber "Drag 'n Drop" geht hier auch nicht.

Diashow in CS 4 unter Win 7 nicht mehr zu erstellen?

Unter Win XP habe ich in Fireworks CS 4 wiederholt Diashows erstellt und ins Netz gestellt, (hanne-steffen.de), Nach Installation WIN 7 auf meinem PC ist dies nicht mehr möglich. Weiss jemand, ob das systembedingt ist oder zufällig ein anderer Fehler wirksam wird?

Ich nutze PhotoshopCC/Lightroom 5 auf meiner Workstation unter Win 7 64-bit. Nun möchte ich LR zusätzlich auf meinem Laptop installieren (2. Gerät). Das ist allerdings ein MacBook Pro. Kann ich die Mac-Version downloaden, installieren und nutzen?

SC5.03 wird unter Win.7 64 Bit Professional nur als Vista Tauglich eingestellt.

INFO dazu:
ich habe auch eine MXO2 mini_MAX Box.
Mit dieser installation der beiden Teile ( absolut nach Vorschrift installiert) konnte ich mein, mit CS5.03 erstelltes Projekt, welches noch mit der mXO2 mini unterstützt wurde, nicht mehr starten.
Nur im Modus Vista.
Windos sagt, dass CS5.03 sei zu Win7 inkompatiebel. Was auch immer das bedeutet.
Ich kann nun CS5 nicht neu installieren denn, dann muss ich auch die Matrox Box neu installieren.
Dazu wiederum müßte ich alles Deinstallieren, was nie sauber klappt, da die Programme nie sauber deinstalliert werden.
Dazu sind die Deinstallerprogramme zu schlecht programmiert.
Das sei aber Pflicht schreiben die Programmhersteller vor. Adobe wie auch Matrox-Hmmmm.
So gesehen ist es eigentlich unmöglich, diese beiden Produkte sauber installiert zu bekommen.
Da ich nie weiß wer Schuld ist. Win 7? CS5.03 oder Matrox. ODER ALLE RESTE. Nicht alles darf man in der Regedit löschen!.
Wer kann mir dazu einen Rat geben?
Ein Testprogramm von Adobe ist schon abgesendet worden. Das besagt ,ich solle mich an den Support wenden. Nur, da komme ich irgendwie nicht hin.

Das mvePremiereModules.dll Version 1.0.0.1977 ist untauglich, - Fehlerhafe Anwendung - steht in den Protokollen vom Eventmanagers.
Bei der Firma aber, bekomme ich garkeine Hilfen. Frage ist- Kann CS5 denn eigentlich korekt mit der Box arbeiten?

Help DDS Plugin In Elements 10

I installed the latest Nvidia DDS program into plugins file format in my Photoshop Elements 10 but when I try to open the DDS file it wont says wrong file format? What is wrong I need to use this program for recoloring cool things for the Sims 4 game. Please help Thanks

Which version of windows are you using?
Did you install the 32 bit versions of the plugins?
(pse 10 is a 32 bit program regardless if your operating system is 32 or 64 bit)

NIK plugins and elements 10

I just installed elements 10 but when I try to add my NIK plugins- silver efex 2, viveza 2 and color efex 3- it states it cannot read the files. Does anyone else have this problem? Suggestions? Thanks Ron

I had some problems with the NIK plugins. They worked fine in 9 but not 10. When I contacted NIK they told me (via e-mail) that as 10 was so new, their plug ins weren't working with it yet and would with the next update. I called them and got some help. It is a bit of a complicated process however (even assuming the plug ins were originally installed in the default locations.) They have some beta versions which they sent me to "try" until the updates are released (fairly soon I think--- hope?) If I were you I would give them a call.... they are pretty responsive.

How do you overcome problems using Photoshop Elements with Win 7 and Eyefinity display?

I have a 3 screen Eyefinity setup on a PC running 64bit Win 7 with 16gb RAM and an AMD Radeon 7950 graphics card and Phenom II x4 processor.
I struggle to get a stable PSE10 to work on this setup.
I bought a combined set of Photoshop and Premier Elements 10 and although installed it always crashed when I saved images with the error message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 has stopped working". I recently did a fresh install of Windows 7 and decided I had to solve the Photoshop problem.
I installed Premier 64 bit version from disk 2 and Photoshop Elements from disk 1 and then ran compatability checker. Under compatability settings for Win XP srv pack 3 it starts although with some toolbar errors and top and bottom of screen transparent instead of solid. I can save files worked on but then still get the error when I exit Photoshop Elements.
Has anyone had similar and solved the problem? Tech Support said my s/w was too old and unsupported without a service contract.

There should be no need for compatibility mode; pse10 is designed to run on W7. Try making a direct shortcut for the Editor. You can then launch the program directly from the desktop bypassing the welcome screen. This is generally better as the welcome screen leaves background processes running.
Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
Then click the browse button and navigate to:
"C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Then click Next; then click Finish
To launch, try right-clicking on the new desktop icon and choose “Run As Administrator” which often improves stability.

Do photos tagged in Elements 6 (Win) import accurately via Bridge (Elements 8 - Mac)

I have thousands of photos that I have managed using Adobe Elements (Win) and am now moving to a Mac. Will Adobe Elements 8 (Mac) using the included Adobe Bridge properly carry-over all the tags that I have assigned to the photos over the years. I have 'written' these Tags & keyword properties' to the files using the function in Elements 6.

There are usually not many Elements users around here. But the easiest way
to find out is to make a copy of a randomly chosen amount of files from
different data and try those copies your self in Bridge to see if they
reflect all the data you want.
