Smartform Alignment in ECC 6.0

Hi,
I am facing some problem with smartforms alignment in ECC 6.0 ,when we upgrae our system from 4.7e to ECC 6.0.
Could any solve this

THE STLYE IS NOT WORKING AND ALSO HEADING ARE NOT WORKING I,IS THERE I HAVE TO RUN ANY STANDARD PROGRAM TO GET IN CORRECT FORMAT,

Call Smartform in backend (ECC 5.0) from portal (EP 6.0)

Hello out there,
we are using an solution with interactive forms (PCR) where users can run hiring processes in the portal.
When ending an hiring form we would like to show a temporary version of the data provided during the hiring (with interactive forms). This temporary version shall be a simple Smartform, showing the hiring data.
This smartform shall be opened in a new browser window and be viewed as a PDF.
From the portal we trigger (with a link) a remote-enabled FM in the backend (ERP) which calls the smartfrorm.
Problem here is: The smartfrorm is triggered in the backend, but from the portal
no popup is shown.
Can anyone give us a hint here ?

After opening the site, please select the Source Release Version which is 4.6 b Then Select the Target Release Version which is "mySAP ERP 2005" or ECC 6.0
Select the Solution Area like Financials, Human Capital Management, Sales....
Select module like MM, PP, SD, QM.....
Click on Search
Then it displays the Release Version and the Delta Functionality. which can be downloaded to a word document if required.
and also check the release notes of ECC 6.0 in service.sap.com.

Smartform Alignment for the PDS(Personal Data Sheet) for Japanese Language

Hi,
I have a Probelm in the alignment in the smartform for the Personal data sheet report when logon in
Japanese language.
The texst are Overlapping.
For example:
I have 2 columns in the PDS such as Postion title and Job title.
The texts in the Postion title is Overlapping into the Jobtitle and So on.
And the issue is happening only when i log onto Japanese Language(JA) where as for other languages
the texts are not overlapping.
Could anybody help me in solving the issue.

Japanese characters usually occupy duble byte space, that is a single japanese character will occupy the space of 'AB',
so what you can do is,
change the layout of the Screen (make the window larger),
you can split the text and write it in two lines (if your team agrees)
you will have to create a seperate Smartform for Japanese Language
you can try condensing the text &test(C)& for certain texts it might work

SMARTFORM Alignment Problem

In my SMART FORM I have used templates as my requirement
in there cells i want to write text with alignment like MS excel Vertical alignment (Top, Center, Bottom)

I am not very certain about this man but there is a crude way of doing it for the time being.
In your 'TEXT' element where you are writing the data skip 2-3 lines and then write your data so that it appears at the bottom of the template. For the time being you can do it.

How to recover deleted program / smartform from sap ecc 6.0

Check whether the program is in TRDIR table or not,if it is there then it will be available else you need to talk to basis guys.
If the program is there and you want to revert to previous version then go to version management and select the version number and then click on the button RETRIEVE.
Smartforms don't haver the concept of version management and hence it is always advisable to download the smartform and then go ahead with the changes.If in case you want to revert to pervious version then you can upload the downloaded smartform and get back the previous version.

Portal inbox not aligned with ECC inbox

Dear experts,
we are facing an issue between the portal inbox and ecc inbox.
We run two processes through the same workflow and each process launchs a notification for the user.
One of these notifications is shown on the portal inbox but the other one no. If we check the ECC inbox both notifications are displayed.
Have you got any clue to investigate this strange case?

dear Samuli,
we tried to replicate the issue in our development environment and at the end the error with the sync was a authorisation issue. But, right now, we are facing another error (i will try to do the best to explain it)
We have two users (userA and userB). The userA creates a new disposal list. The userB receives this notificatin on his inbox (in ECC and in Portal). The userB approves this disposal. The userA receive the approval notification and the modifies the equipment status from "Disposed" to another one to cancel the disposal (in my case i have selected "In Use"). In this moment the userB receives the cancelation notification on ECC but not in portal.
Do you know what can be the problem? Do you have any clue?

Smartform alignment&fonts changining after assigning new ouput device.

I have develop a form and tested with LOCL output type ,it went succesfully
but client has changed output device to some thing else.
Now the problem is
alignments,
boxes,
fonts,
are not coming as it is coming with LOCL.
Please guide me to solve this issue.

We have taken a device type 'X' and printing with laser HPLJ8000.
I'm new to printing forms and have these questions ,maybe basic for you!!!
1. when we are printing with device type 'X' print preview is coming properly
and not coming properly we give print,even in spool (SP01) its looking good.
so,is there any way to see the actual printpreview?
2.when LOCL is printing properly why we need to go for other device types.?

How to call and reuse smartforms from ECC to CRM?

Hi Experts,
I would like to seek help from all of you, I would like to know if it is possible to call and reuse smartforms created in ECC to CRM environment. The requirement is to create smartforms in ECC (R/3 system) and reuse and call it in CRM environment whenever the 'PREVIEW OUTPUT' button is ticked in CRM webclient. This is to reduce the creation of smartforms from both systems.

You can not reuse it directly but I guess you can download form from ECC and then upload it to CRM. I guess based on your requirement you might end up with few changes to form in CRM to display correct data.

VL02N Error: Output could not be issued with smartforms

Hi All,
Currently I am doing some customization on existing delivery note smartforms LE_SHP_DELNOTE on ECC 6.0.
I have copied it from the above smartforms and name it as ZLE_SHP_DELNOTE. Did most of the modification according to the user's format requirement.
Manage to do the necessary settings in NACE to point to the new smartforms and also were able to print preview the report either in the standard LE_SHP_DELNOTE or the customize ZLE_SHP_DELNOTE.
But as I add more coding into ZLE_SHP_DELNOTE, the print preview starts to give me the "Output could not be issued" error.
If I were to revert back to the original LE_SHP_DELNOTE in NACE, it still works fine.
I have checked most of the issue in the forum regarding the table size or include text, but I have make sure that the table size does not exceed the window size and also i have check the checkbox that prevent any error if include text does not exist.

Thanks a lot. It is due to the address that is not populating.
Currently I am reading the address from VBAK by using the following statements:
SELECT SINGLE bukrs_vf
FROM    vbak
INTO    lf_bukrs
WHERE   vkorg = is_dlv_delnote-hd_org-salesorg
AND     vbeln = is_dlv_delnote-hd_ref-order_numb.
SELECT SINGLE adrnr
FROM    t001
INTO    gf_bukrs_adrnr
WHERE   bukrs = lf_bukrs.
gf_bukrs_adrnr is the address value.
Currently I have 2 versions of my customised smartforms. One that works and one that does not work. Both has the address node.
One funny thing is that the value from is_dlv_delnote-hd_ref-order_numb is not populating for the one that does not work.
But I thought is_dlv_delnote is an interface passed on to the smartforms regardless of any changes that you made in the smartforms.
Do you have any idea why is this so?

I am having an issue in SRM 5.0.How to get the Purchase Order Amendment details in SRM Smartforms. In ECC we are using a function module to list the amendment details is there any function module in SRM which can do this. Please help me. This is a very very very urgent issue.

Smartforms - dealing with decimal and thousand separators

Hi,
trying to reuse one of the standard SAP Smartforms - LB_BIL_INVOICE in an ECC 6.0 Unicode system I faced a problem with decimal and thousand separators for currency/quantity fields. In fact, default settings in User profile are not taken in consideration when printing this form. I have changed all the possible settings in the user profife and (after logoff/logon) nothing changes in my output.
Just to be sure I tried to output the invoice with the original SAP smartform LB_BIL_INVOICE and the things were the same - means output takes wrong settings for decimal/thousand separators.
For clarity I created a simple form with a single currency field and everything behaves well as expected. So this points me to the direction fo find out what is wrong with the LB_BIL_INVOICE. I downloaded the form into XML and checked the code, further uploaded it into a new one - no success.
My question is:
Is there a way to manipulate or overwrite default settings for decimal/thousand separators within smartform, and if yes - how to do this?
I almost finished my quite complex form and wouldn't like to rewrite it from scratch.
FYI: I'm not a Smartform expert, by have created/overwiten more than 15 different forms accros different systems - 4.6 C/D, 4.7, ECC 6.0 non-Unicode/Unicode, and never faced such an issue.
I faced significant smartform 'improvement' in the ECC 6.0 release - especialy for text elements. The new integrated MS word control gives me a lot of throubles. According to this - is there an up-to-date documentation (even link to SAP course is acceptable) according to Smartform development in ECC 6.0?

Hi,
I took a quick glance into the print program, and the print program do a set country setting to reciving country. This will give you the separators that are confugured for this country.
But if you change the print program and clear parameter country, the smartform will use the users settings instead.

Printing Polish from Unicode ECC system

to print Polish characters as SAPscript, ABAP-list or SmartForms from a ECC 6.0 already converted in Unicode, is it right way cascading fonts, SAPWIN, SAPSprint, ecc. ?
Or... can I use "classic" HPLJ4000 device type with access method D?

you can use
1) standard device type I2HP4 (for polish only - does not work, if you e.g. have mixed data e.g. from Western and Eastern europe)
2) standard device type I2SWIN (for polish only - does not work, if you e.g. have mixed data e.g. from Western and Eastern europe)
3) HPUTF8 or LEXUTF8 (you will need specific Unicode capable printers for these device types)
4) Cascading Fonts as outlined in SAP note 812821 (mainly if you want to print data from multiple old code pages)
5) Check SAP note 1097990 for your printer vendor - whether Eastern European data is supported.
Usually, point 1. and / or 2. is the easiest way to print latin-2 data.

Code for currency translation

All records from ECC will be translated using the daily exchange rate to be aligned with ECC. Created a new key figure with the local currency and added to cube, no rules set for this keyfigure. Need to get the daily exchange rate for this field using settlement date. Source currency used as doc currency and target currency as local currency. I think adding code in end routine would be good. Pls suggest and provide the code .

Some text in my smartform is not aligned or one space below

Hello Experts,
I am currently modifying a smartform wherein some of the text is
one space below its correct alignment. For example:
Particulars      Quantity     Price

Enervon Prime                 1,000
The 50 must be aligned with the particular and price. When I checked the
form, it doesnt have anyspace and the variable is inserted immediately. No spaces
or indentions whatsoever. Help would be greatly appreciated guys as this is very urgent.

variable? And Also, what about for others that instead of displaying
one space below, it shows one space above? like:

The quantity 5000 must be in line with Enervon and 1,000. Thank you again!

Migration of Smartforms / SAPScript forms from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0

Dear Members,
We are in process of re-implementing SAP with SAP ECC 6.0 from SAP R/3 version 4.7
We have created many layouts using SAPScripts & SAP Smartforms in SAP R/3.
My question is, are there any migration tools available in SAP ECC 6.0 in the form of function modules, BAPI etc to convert existing forms of Smartforms / SAPScripts created in SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 ?
Or do we have to design all existing forms created in R/3 once agin in SAP ECC 6.0 ?
We request our dear members to share their views on the above mentioned problems faced by us in the re-implementation project

Dear Friend,
As per our consultant's view, we are not upgrading from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC. We are re-implementing; that is, we are going to implement SAP ECC as if we are doing it for the first time ever in our company. This is due to drastic organizational changes happend in our company. So, upgrading from R/3 is not feasible solution, according to our consultants.
So, we have to re-configure all settings in SPRO manually in ECC based on our new business scenario. There will be new company codes, plants, business area etc., which will be totally different from existing R/3 system.
But the template definitions of the existing forms maintained in SAPScript / Smartforms will remain same.
There are 50+ forms (boith SAPScript / Smartforms put together) and manual re-designing of all those forms will be tedious within the scheduled date of GO Live.
In that case, to avoid re-designing, what is the best method that can prevent manual re-design of Smartforms?
For SAPscripts, I got some good news from our some of our dear forum members.
