1.If you are creating the Different windows for the Countries,then In conditions tab of window specify the Condition i.e.
company -code = '2201'.
2.Then that window can trigger ofr that condition.
3.Other wise, if you are using the different layouts ,then write the condition in Print program and call that form .

Hi suresh,
You can create all the windows, but if you go to specific window you will see different tabs like general attributes, output options and conditions. In that conditions tab, you can give condition. so based on that condition, that window will be printed.

Smartform Main Window Box designing

Hi,
I have created a smartform with 5 windows. In the main window maximum 12 records will be fitted. In Main window, In the output options tab i have selected Lines with Check box and Always draw Check box.The height of the main window is 4.80 CM. Each Record will occupy 0.40 Cm Height.For this i want dynamic window box creation. For Example if the internal table contains only two records it has to draw box only with 0.80 Cm height only, Suppose if the internal table contains 10 records then it has to draw box with 4 CM height. Here in my Smartform i am always creating 4.80 Cm height box. Is my requirement Possible? If yes, How?

as far as dynamic row wise box you can achieve....
but if only you want boxes depending on the lines means it's difficult to do because you may not know how may line will come. as you have mention for only 2 and 10 records means i have an idea but don't know whether it will work or not as these boxes will be drawn depending on the height( and it's constant).
what we can try is.
first count the number of lines in your internal table.
in main if check the condition
if internal table has 2 lines then define one table with your reqirement,like "if the internal table contains only two records it has to draw box only with 0.80 Cm height only".
mention the height in table->details as 0.80cm.
if internal table has 10 lines then define one table with your reqirement,like "if the internal table contains only two records it has to draw box only with 4 CM heightheight only".
mention the height in table->details as4 CM height.
in else... your can write as many as depending on your req...
this is lengthy, hope this will achieve your requirement.

Managing Multiple Dynamic Windows (AJAX/HTML)

Looking for a little direction on managing multiple dynamic windows. Creating windows that can be identified, and altered potentially, from the main window. Also, testing to see if a window already exists.
Any help in idenitifying windows would be great. Just looking for a little insight to get me going.

I figured out a way around the dynamic window references. Not truly the ideal solution however it works. I essentially created an array just for window instances. On window creation, I add a reference to it within my window array. Then reference the array to see if the window reference exists. If so, then do nothing. If not, then I can create the new window. On close of the dynamically generated windows, I remove the reference to it from my window array.
It works, but I feel this is not the most ideal way to do it. If there is another solution or approach that may be easier please feel free to add it.

How to print horizantal lines in smartforms main window table

hi ABAP gurus,
i am faceing the problem in smartforms main window, i created the table, in that header, main area, footer is coming and i am created the line type in that five culamns, i am specifing the header and main area data, after the printing the header information, in main area 5 record or more than 5 records,each record after one harizantel line, it will be print a table maner i.e 5 culamns and more than 5 rows in a table.

Click on Select pattern icon>Display framed Pattern>Select the Second one (1 row 2nd column)

Smartforms main window is not printing

Hi,
I would like to ask what to do with this problem.
The smartform main window is not printing in all the pages. All the other windows, even the window with the total data is printing. The only problem is the contents of the main window is not printing.
Also, the problem only happens when the I've changed printer.
When I use LOCL as printer, the smartform is OK but when I change the printer, the problem is encountered.
This also happens when I change environment from development server to production server. In production server, even the LOCL printer is encountering the problem.

Hi Mike,
Have you checked the device type in transaction SPAD? Try to click on Full Admininstration from application toolbar and select device types.

Dynamic Window or Frame ??

Hi all, i want to make an application with a dynamic window. For example in powerpoint there are some effects.
what i want to do, window will open slowly from zero to full pozition at the right side of screen.
i looked into lots swings, but i couldnt find anything
is there a way to do something like that???

If you are trying to vary the number of columns, this may not be possible. You may have fixed number of columns and change the contents (and heading) of the same in a pre-determined manner.

Smartforms-Dynamic Change of Font Size in main window

Hi Friends,
How shall I be able to change dynamically the font size in main window of smartform. If the records are more in main window then the layout comes in 2 pages but if less in 1 page. So I want to decrease the font if the records are more to assign it in 1 page.
Eg : I can print only 10 lines in 1 page of main window, but if the records exceed 10 lines it is going to next page, so I want to shrink the font size to maintain the layout in 1 page.

Hi,
SmartForms does not offer the option to set some characteristics at runtime. You must work with conditions in your form.
First find out how many records you have in your table
DESCRIBE TABLE mytable RECORDS sy-tfill.
You create 2 texts nodes with the text to be output and assign the font and font size to them. Obviouly, one node will have a big font size and the other one a normal font size but both contain the same information and same variables.
You can now work with an alternative. If the condition (there are many records for a secondpage) is true, assign text node with normal font size to option TRUE and the other text node to FALSE.
Optionally, every text node has folder CONDITIONS, where you can say
SY-TFILL > 10 lines <-- for text node with normal font size
SY-TFILL <= 10 lines <-- for text node with big font size

like if the company code belongs to an Indian company then i need to display cost center window. so can you please guide me through the procedure to create windows dynamically.

U can create different layouts for different company codes.
Declare a variable p_bukrs i.e. company code form interface.
Made u r window as condition like in the condition tab.
p_bukrs = '1000'.
Then it will call corresponding to the company code.
or
u can create different forms for different company code and u can differentiate in the driver program.
if p_bukrs = '1000'.
call function ssf .
if p_bukrs = '1500'.
call
endif.

Smartform - Handling Static & Dynamic Windows - Very Important

Hi,
This is in regards to a 5 page smartform that I have been assigned to develop.
One concern of mine in associated with the Static (non-moving, non growing) and dynamic (moving & growing) fields in windows.
1.     In a smartform, how do you handle windows that grow to another or multiple pages, because of the growing content inside (table for example)?
2.     How do you handle the following situation:
a.     A page has 6 windows
b.     2 are the header and are on every page, always the same size & never grow.
c.     Then 2 dynamic tables, that could grow to occupy multiple pages.
d.     Then 2 static windows, that are always the same size & never grow.
Since the 2 dynamic tables are followed by 2 static windows, do you treat the static windows dynamically, since they could move to another page and occupy a different position? Should they all consist of 1 main window?
Please help with any suggestions & methods of taking care of such situations.

Your structure for main window wood be like:
MAIN
> TABLE 1 (FOR FIRST INTERNAL TABLE)
    >> HEADER 1
    >> MAIN 1 (should contain the lines for data of the first intenal table)
    >> FOOTER 1
> TABLE 2 (FOR THE SECOND INT TABLE)
    >> HEADER 2
    >> MAIN 2 (should contain the lines for data of the first intenal table)
    >> FOOTER 2
> TEXT 11 (FOR THE WINDOW YOU ARE PLANNING AFTER THE SECOND TABLE)
> TEXT 12 (FOR THE ANOTHER WINDOW YOU ARE PLANNING AFTER THE FIRST WINDOW)

Dynamic Windows with SMARTFORMS

I have a smartforms form. I want the position and size of the windows dynamic. The only idea I have is to do it with if commands. Is there a better way ????

Hi Ame,
i dont think that windows can be dynamic. You can have the data inside the window dynamic. Incase you want the data inside the window to populate dynamically, you need to set the conditions accordingly.

Smartforms main window is not extending as it was made as a second window

My Requirement is smartform coof two pages in which second one is an annexure.
the second page should come for all the reports.
now my first pages main window is not extending as it was made as secondary window.

I created from scratch, it works well with dynamic text with both 0 and 200 lines (setup in initialization code):
|__ %PAGE1
|   |__ TEXT with dynamic text &GT_TLINE&
|   |__ COMMAND : GO TO %PAGE2
|__ %PAGE2
    |__ TEXT with text element "LAST PAGE"
