Smartform in Package

Hi experts,
I am saving all smartforms in one package.
May be it could be a silly question but I saved my smartform in my package but when I am looking for my smartform
it doesn't show in my package.
Kindly tell me how can I see my smartforms in my package.

Thangam is correct: SAP SmartForms have that not quite finished feel to them in that conventional ABAP Workbench Tools like SE80 Repository Browser do not support them. To my frequent dismay sorrow, they are also not included in Version Management...
The only way I know of getting an overview of SmartForms in standard SAP is Object Catalog under SE09 Tools. There one can select via Object Type SSFO and Package:
That object type includes both the SmartForms and the Text Modules, and type SSST is for SmartStyles.
I doubt this will ever get "fixed" by SAP, because SmartForm solution is not being developed further - the future belongs to Adobe Forms (until something else comes along )

could you give some information.. you said both are in the same pakages, then also problem may occur.because of the improper link between print program and smartform.....
to get the print program name u can see in TNAPR tabel and also you acn use NACE transaction code...

1. The smartform name is SD_PACK_ETIK.
2.Just copy the standard program into Zprogram and make chanes and assign in NACE with the form.
3.But,in smartform lable printing is not possible.
4.you can print barcodes.

How to transfer a smartform from $temp package to my own package say "zpack" in abap?

earlier i used to save all the objects in local package only. whether it's a program or any class or any user created table.
but now i have created my own package and want to transfer all of those created objects into my package "zpack". even i transferred all the programs. but the smartforms i cant. so plz help me.

TC --> SE03
Select --> Change Object Directory Entries --> Click F8 or Click run button .
Check 'Check Box' and enter SSFO . Input field enter your Smart form name.
Under that we have block " Further Restriction" enter existing Package name ex: $TMP is this is saved under temporary folder.
and click on F8 or Run Button. Then we will get list of object's stored under this package .
Select required object and click on "Object Directory ", this will prompted pop asking to enter new package name.
This will help you to change from one package to your owned package.

Hello i want install in the system of my customer the BASELINE PACKAGE V 5.600 because i need preconfigured smartforms.
I have a question. if i use the user id of my customer in servicemarketplace the customer have to pay BASELINE PACKAGE V 5.6000 or IS FOR FREE??

If you are able to download it directly then i dont think it is a paid consulting.
Prior to providing the service, SAP mentions that it would be a paid service & asks for your approval. If you give the approval, then only it processes further.

Change the transport package of a SAPScript, Smartform

Hi!
There are several SAPScripts and Smartforms in our system, which is assigned to a transport package Z1, which points to nowhere, so it's just a technical, local package.
Now the basis team set up a new system, and there is a new package Z2, which points to this new system.
So I would like to assign the object from Z1 to Z2 package.
Within a program it could be easily changed.
How can I change it in a SAPScript or within a Smartform?

for smartforms
in the smartforms transaction
enter the formname which you want to change , and from menu Goto->Object Directory Entry , now you can edit the package , using the change mode option.
For script.
go to Transaction SE03
Now you can see Object Directory entry option, press the change button.
(change object Directory entries)
Enter FORM in the input for object type, it comes in this way, now check the checkbox.
check RETR FORM <formname>
press F8,
Now you will see the option to change the Directory entry in the result screen.

In SMARTFORMS when openee a Text Node,   Giving a Short Dump

Hi
I am getting Short Dump in SMARTFORMS Transaction, when ever I opened a Text Node and made some changes in it.
With out opening a Text Node I can able to change and activate the SmartForm.
But if I open a Text Node I can able to make changes in the Text Node but later if i click on any other Node, it is giving a Short Dump.
But all other systems in my office are working fine.
I have tried the Utilities->Settings-> and changed the editor also.
I have also Installed the SAPGUI once again for this Issue. But still I am getting the same problem.
Can anyone Please help me on this Issue.
I am sending the error enalysis of the Short Dump.
Error analysis

         An error occurred when the system tried to process the commands
         from the Automation Queue on the presentation server.
         There are several possible reasons for this:
         - The installation of the SAP GUI on the presentation server is
         faulty or obsolete.
         - There is an error in the application program
         - There is an error in the SAPGUI or an integrated control
     Procedure
         1. Make sure that you have imported the appropriate Support
         Package, the current kernel, and GUI patch for the release of your
         system
         2. Check whether the error occurs locally on one or a few PCs, or
         generally on all PCs. Note whether the error only occurs for some
         users, for example because of a specific Customizing setting.
         If it only occurs locally, this suggests an installation problem
         with the PC. Check the installation; if necessary, reinstall the
         software. In the dump, search for the SY-MSGLI field, since it may
         point to the cause of the error.
         3. Activate the Automation Trace (in accordance with SAP Note
         158985).
         4.Start the transaction and continue until the screen immediately
         before the dump.
         5. From the System -> Utilities menu, choose Autom. Queue,
         Synchronous Processing.
         The status bar of the GUI displays the text:
            "Automation synchron flush mode on"
         6. If you now proceed with the application, the short dump will
         display the ABAP call that caused the error; the Automation Trace
         will contain the error on the presentation server.
         7. If necessary, load the short dump and trace files on to
         sapservX, so that SAP can analyze them.

I think dump is because of SAP GUI. If you are ECC 6.0 then install SAP GUI 710 with patch level 2 or more and check

Barcodes are not getting Displayed in Smartforms.

In Previous Month barcode was getting displayed in smartforms print Preview. And PDF form is generated successfully. I am not using standard form this is custom.
In Previous month, Service pack SAPKA70023 ABA Support Package 23 & 22 for 7.00 were applied, After that Barcode is not getting displayed for current month. I identified that Barcode Name is not mentioned in smartstyles.
Ther is no transport Request Moved from last one year.
Can any one suggest me there will be any impact on barcodes after service packs

have created some new users and done with the leave request, it comes to backend inbox, but not
visible in portal. Re-configured UWL, but still the task not coming( leave request). For other users it is > coming?
Where have you created these users? Many times it is not enough to create new users in a backend system. You will have to create them in the data source which is used by the UME of your portal or to map this data source with the system where you have created your new users
You can see what data source your portal is using by going to
Portal --> System Administration --> System Configuration --> UME Configuration --> Data Source
If this Data Source doesn´t contain your new users, then UWL wouldn´t be able to show their items.
Here you can check if your user is contained in the data source:
Portal --> User Administration --> choose the right data source --> put in the username --> search
Please check if your users are correctly created.

Smartform report generation error

Hi,
I have a problem with a report calling a smartform. The report works perfectly on the 1 system but on the other system there is a generation error. I found that the problem lies with the following declaration:
data: otf_info type SSFCRESCL.
I compared the structures on the different systems and they are identical. The only difference is the Support Package levels. The error occurs on the system with the higher support package - SAPKB64015 (basis and aba) whereas the other system is still at level 12 (SAPKB64012).
Any ideas what is causing the generation error and what could be done to fix it?

Hi ,
I think there may be some errors in function group errors.
Try the following :
T/Code : SMARTFORMSEnter the name of the form> Test--> This will leads to function module --> Utilities(Menubar)-=-> Repair function group --> Repair.
After repairing the function group --> Save and Activate.
Then transport the Smartform to other system .

How to create a table with events view in smartforms?
It doesn't like general table with header, main area and footer.
for example:
in smartforms: LE_SHP_DELNOTE
table name is TABLEITEM(Delivery items table)

It is just necessary overhead. Please explain why you (apparently) believe that the suggestion of a view will not meet your requirements.

Smartforms and its internal table

Hi All!
From the main program, I call the FM SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME
and later "call lf_fm_name" as below shown.
The generated FM name gets an "internal table" in the tables parameter.
And now how can I to treat now this internal table within smart forms?
Please can you sequential explain the treatment. How can I acces

what ever you pass from program to smartforms you need to declare in
GLOBAL INTERFACE -> Import parameter.(in the driver program export parameter). make sure u use the same name in the SMARTFORM GLOBAL INTERFACE - > import parameter.

Smartform in Purchase Order ME21N

Hi guys.
I'm working in SAP 6.0 ECC. I am developing a sapscript for purchase order and it is working well, but i wanna do the same in smartform, i checked on the web that sap 6.0 ecc has some standard smartform for Purchase Order, but mine doesnt have it. In addition, i tried to convert my sapscript to smartform, but the only thing that converts are the windows, no tables or variables, so it doesnt work.
how can i do it? somebody did a smartform for ME21N??? what are the parameters that i need to use? the idea is that this smartform will be trigged at the moment of release the purchase order throught ME29N.

The good answer would have been to look at SDN "smart forms" home page, then look at section "preconfigured smart forms".
It says that it must be downloaded from SWDC (SAP software download center), choose Installations and Upgrades -> ...Entry by Application Group -> SAP Best Practices -> SAP BP BASELINE PACKAGE ...
