Hi,
The email functionality is already available in the print program of PO and RFQ. For PO(Output type MAHN) the program is SAPFM06P. We are passing the sender and receipient in OPEN_FORM (Include LMEDRUCKF1O). So no need to write the mail functionality again.
My problem is after the email is sent to the recipient then an acknowledgement is also sent to the sender saying the "mail sent to Vendor". I want to disable this acknowledgement feature.
Same with RFQ. The RFQ(output type NEU) is using the the smartform and we are passing sender and recipient details in the CALL FUNCTION lf_fm_name.
How to disable the acknowledgement feature.

Need antispam script for my website guestbook entries... recommendations?

My guestbook on my website got so slammed by spambots that i had to take it offline. I would like to get one of those scripts where the person has to fill in what they see in a box (letters, numbers, etc) in order to make an entry into my guestbook. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to do, you don't need a preloaded for embed movies. The page will load without any delay. It's not until the user chooses to play a movie will it begin downloading / streaming it from the server. Even if the video is a large file, internet users are use to this type of scenario where they choose to play a movie, ala youtube and others, that if their connections are slow there may be delays in video playback. With all that said, I have seen and used page loaders where visitors will be expecting to wait a while for a result to happen, I just don't think this scenario warrants it.

you can use ldapsearch utility to generate ldif files. Perform a search on the node you want to export and specify the output to be in LDIF format ( -L - this is a ldapsearch option). Once you have the ldif file, you can import it to any LDAPv3 complaint server such as OID. for OID, use ldapadd/ldapmodify utility to import the data.
These utilities are present under IAS_HOME/bin or ORACLE_HOME/bin.

Dunning Notice print/email using both Smartform and SAP-Script

Hello Gurus,
I have developed the Customized SAP Sript (Copy of 150_DUNN_01) for Dunning NOtice to be send to Domestic Customer and
Cutomized Smartform (copy of F150_DUNN_SF) for Foreign Customer.
Now Issue is that when I assign the Customized script to SPRO setting and standrd setting for BTE '00001720' with function
module 'FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE', if I want to assign smartform to SPRO setting then I need to replace same FM with
'FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SMARTF'.
how it is possible to work with both SAP-Script and Smartforms for dunning Procedure.
Please gurus let me help for this solution...

SAP Script for Delivery

Dear ABAPer's ,
I am working on a SAP Script for Delivery.The requirement is I need a print out for each line item in a delivery in a seperate page.
For example if the delivery has 3 line items.I should print each line items details in 3 seperate pages.
I have modified the routine RVADDN01 according to my requirements.

 In order to create a page for each line item what you have to do is in the script part where you have written the values.
for eg: if the line item details(VALUE) are in an internal table "I_DETAILS"
Script:

Loop at i_details.
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
 ELEMENT = 'DET'

I have installed the SAP ECC 6.0 (SR1) under AIX 5.3 / DB2 V8 FP12 with HACMP Clustering environment. Manual Failover is working fine. Central System has been installed in share drive with Virtual IP and Virtual name inNode A. Dialog Instance is loaded locally in Node B. I want to get HACMP Clustering script(automatic failover script) for Automation. Please help me if you have. It is single package clustering. If Node A fails, Node B will take care ( Central System and Dialog instance will run in Node B)

During the installation, I would use the same <sidadm> existing as it is in the PRD.
If I tell you to install it during the same <sidadm> it will overwrite what already exists, or do I just enter the password of existing <sidadm>?

SAP VB script for updating texts in purchase orders

Hello,
I am trying to create a SAP script for updating texts in purchase orders. It is in the last third - Item Detail, Texts tab.
The script is ok apart from the fact that it always deletes whatever text is in there and than add a new one.
I would like to keep history in the texts tab and always just add one line to existing texts. Is there any way (command) how
to keep existing texts and only add a new line to the top?

Now I am struggeling with changing SAPLMEGUI in vb scripts for ME22n. Sometimes, there is SAPLMEGUI:0010 and sometimes SAPLMEGUI:0015. Even when the users have the same screens in the beginning the SAPLMEGUI number differs. They also do one item by hand and than it changes. It keeps changing between SAPLMEGUI:0010 and SAPLMEGUI:0015
Is there a way how to have the same number of SAPLMEGUI or how to eliminate this issue?

Sap script for Delivery(item wise)

Dear ABAPer's ,
I am working on a SAP Script for Delivery(Item wise).The requirement is I need a print out for each line item in a delivery.I am using tcode VL71 for taking prinout.
I have modified the routine RVADDN01 according to my requirements.But the problem is i am not able to capture
which line item is selected.Whichever lineitem i select it is giving the details of all the line items.
Am I using the correct routine or someother routine is available for item wise details.
Please clarify.

hi,
 the reboot of a system can be of broadly two types.
1) done by the user
2) abrupt shutdown say due to power failure.
 if you closely look at the file inittab under /etc/ you will find different files are executed for different run levels. For powerfailure also there is a script called powerfail under /etc/init.d/. with different options.
under init.d directory you can find all the scripts for different run levlels starting from rc0-rc6, halt named script , and reboot named script.
. So to solve your problem you can write a script and execute it under this files. Changing all these files are not at all recommended as any mistake can lead to a system halt state. But still we can make the changes if we know what are we doing and definitely you can try if are having a test system with you.
the logic will go something like this:-->
1) for shutdown
 respawn a new shell
 login as <sid>adm
 execute the command i.e stopsap
 exit from that user
same goes for startup also.
now only you have to run this script in the appropriate files at appropriate places(most important).
but the main problem comes when system goes down as sap system takes time to stop so you have to make your OS wait uptill that which may be a tedious task.
. the above discussion was keeping SUSE linux enterprise server in mind.
Please do not make any changes in the above mentioned file if you are running a crucial
system on that OS. try only on a test system.

We have built a SAP HA system on RHCS and the services are not automated due to scripts un-availability. So everytime when the server node goes down we
are manually moving the services and starting the SAP and DB.
So can anyone help me by providing or suggesting on the failover scripts for SAP HA on RHCS.

the SAPInstance resource agent must be configured for SAP services and SAPDatabase must be configured for the database so that they can be managed by cluster. these resource agents will take care of starting/stopping the SAP/DB related services
the sapstartsrv also will be managed by the cluster automatically. incase if this service is running in both nodes for ASCS/SCS instances stop them so that it will started by the cluster framework in the appropriate node
also check if SAPHOSTAGENT in installed in both the nodes
check the below link for further help

if these Resource agents are not configured then you need to only start/stop them manually
