Smartform printing all bold

Hi everybody,
My form is printing all bold regardless of what is defined in the style. Anyone has some hint?
First I tought the problem was the font Arial (that I imported in SE73). But I changed all the paragraphs to Helvetica (HELVE) and the problem persists. Somebody has seen something like this before?

Hi Florian,
It's all bold in the preview as well. Also tried another printer and print to PDF.
Two paragraphs:
HELVE 10pt Normal (Blank selected in font style)
HELVE 10pt Bold
I use 2 texts, one with the normal paragraph the other with the bold paragraph. The 2 print exactly the same (in preview as well).
Already used a character format as you said. Nothing different.
What you mean with "bold check in you forms preferences"?

SmartForm Printing all the Items in one page

Hi,
When iam trying to print the data in the smartform.....it is printing all the data in the one page(if 2 pages are shown in printpriview).But the same invoice is going to be printed in all the plants in the same format...so i hope it is not the printer problem.so any one pls go thru' this thread and try to give the solution as early as possible.....
The main thing is if line items are 18.15 on one page and 3 on second page in printpriview...but while printing the the second page 3 line items are overwriting on the first 3 line items of the first page itself.
Pls Asnwer as it is very Urgent.....

Sorry sir, It is a slip of the tongue, I corrected my response already.
So it is defenitely possible to make ALL the columns appear in the same page in PDF regardless of how much width the report occupies?
If yes, can I see a horizontal scroll bar or the text will be shrinked to fit the page?

Smartform printing all pages from 2 trays

Hello all,
can we print Smartforms from 2 diffrent trays we have a tray selection option in smartform but is there a way we can print all the pages from tray 1 as well as tray2?
for example if i have 3 pages i want to print all 3 pages from tray1 as well as tray 2.

You will have to send the form to the printer 2 times to print from different trays. I seriously doubt it would be possible to do it otherwise, but you might want to check in the forum specific to forms.

How not to print all the pages of a smartform? (for tr F150 - Dunning)

We have the follow situation:
For DUNNING (transaction F150) the user want stamp 3 diferents SMARTFORM.
For the first time the transaction is executed is required only a list of documents, for the second time (via sample printout, indiv dunn notice or dunn history) once the legal data of the customer is updated, the user wants the list of documents, a letter for the lawyers and a letter for the client, in the follows executions (3 and up) the user can require only the list of documents or all smartforms (list and letters)
Via customizing we can control the normal dunning and the legal dunnig, but once the client is in legal status the transaction create only the legal smarforms.
We found an user exit associated EXIT_SAPF150D_001. in the F150 transaction, but is not complete, in sense that are failed some parameters .
Another option is create an unique smartform with 3 pages where we can control the case for the print, but here is where we ask: How we can do to print a specific page of the smartform without print all of them (how can we print the 2nd and 3rd page without print the firs one) ??
To control the 3rd execution, we can create a dictionary table with a flag .

You could create a report containing all the single reports in one using UNION. This report could be placed on a "hidden" page. The link for downloading that report you can place on your page. That should work.

SAPScript / Smartform printing with all #

Hi,
I am facing a strange problem while printing Script and Smart forms.
We are using QM02 transaction to print the deviation form and MRDR form.
Deviation form is a script and MRDR is a smartform.
The problem is, when i executed the QM02 and print any one of the form It was printing fine.
After that if i select the second one to print it was printing all # s.
I tried debugging the script i am getting the message 'Character is not defined in the current font Helve 100'.
Can any one explain, why this is happening?

some of charcter formats are missing , can you check what are missing, and if some cases the values are not coming to display its dispaly the # insted of the data. if you have any space in the database table level that time also display the #.
when you print the scond time there is no values , close the session and start agagin it will display the data.

Printing In Main Window in Smartform After All Line Items

Hi All.
I have this requirement wherein I have to Print Export Charges in main window , below all the line items.
There is a loop on line item tables and I am printing all line items in the main window.
How to print this export charges after all the line items?

Create two row line in the main area of the table. First one for line items and the next for the export charges.

(Sorry, this ll print export charges after every line items, try to print the export charges in the footer of the table.)

Dunning - Print all items

Hi,
I have set in SPRO for dunning:
dunning level      print all items
1
2                           X
3                           X
4                           X
When I run transaction F150, I have 1 item in level1 and 3 items in level2, no exist another open items.
I use form created in smartforms (copy from F150_DUNN_SF)
When I print form for level2, I have in form only 3 items. But they would have to be 4 items, I think when I check "Print all items".
I tried it also F150_DUNN_SF - and some result.
Kindly let me know why don't print 4 items?

I have form Z_F150_DUNN_SF (copy form F150_DUNN_SF). Have I check write in its?
Where? In initialization? In initialization I have CALL FUNCTION 'GET_SF_DUNN_DATA' that return 3 items. After that follows:

Problem with Smartform printing

Hi all,
I developed Dunning form . its working fine in development system.
We have problem in production .
For example , we need to print dunning form for 10 customers means 10 forms need to be print at a time usinf F150.
Some forms printing fine with all text modules and some forms are not printing text modules.
i did debug for Fm of smartform .
In side this Fm , it is calling SSFRT_SYMBOL_VALUE function module , for printing all text modules.
Inside FM SSFRT_SYMBOL_VALUE ,
we have issue with assign (l_programsymbol) to <l_symbol> statement (Line number 86) .
Here if <l_symbol> will populate with text module, it is printing text.
If not , it is not printing .
Is there any point to know solution

SmartForms Printing Error for Japanese Characters

Hi,
I have an issue with Printing Japanese Characters in the SmartForm.
When I Print Preview the smartform I can see the characters in Japanese but when I Print the actual smartform in the printer, all I get is some junk characters like # and !.
I have the following setting in the smartform.
   Multi-Byte functionality enabled
   Character set used is Shift JIS
   Smartform created in language EN
   Translate to All Languages set to true
   No restriction on Language Control
   Smartstyles used has JPMINCHO fonts only
   Default Para is JPMINCHO
   Characters formatting has explicit JPMINCHO as font
   Login language is JA
   Printer is Local Printer with device type JPSAPWIN
When I debug the Smartform function module, the OTF Data Table (within the function) shows characters in Japanese (with codepage 8000) but then I look at the actual spool as a result of processing the function, it comes up as garbled.
Interestingly, I have exactly the same settings on another test smartform to print just 2 columns and it works well.
Not sure where I am going wrong.

has anyone solved this problem? even i m facing the problem. me restating the problem as below:
in VF02 transaction, for billing document we are trying to print smartform. Our logon languagae is EN and the Output Type langugae is EN. In spool, we are getting the CORRECT format ie the texts that are maintained in Japanese are showing as Japanese characters while the whole smartform is in English format.
Our requirement is to PRINT (from printer) the texts that are maintained in Japanese should get printed in Japanese format. I know that this is problem with printer settings. The printer is printing perfectly fine as other documents in Japanese characters so its ensured that printer is enabled for Japanese.
I suppose some kind of setting needs to be done at SAP end so that printer recognises double-byte character set of Japanese.
Waiting for confirmation/ solution.

I have a billing Document with multiple items like labor ,material,miscellaneous and more .. i want to print all line items description and data also in smartform . It's possible to print all this requirement in Normal Windows or How is it possible to print .If any Standard form is there .

We are having standard smartform for the Invoice. Use LB_BIL_INVOICE. Copy it to Zform. You can get all the details by default.

Smartform-printing problem

The smartform is a letter fromat.
The selection screen contains vbak-lifsk(Delevery block) its mandatory field and vbak-vbeln .
My requirement is to print all sales order no.'s and that sold to party details and remaining is hardcoded.
my problem is, suppose in a block if there are 2 or more sales doucuments we want to print the same format for for those sales order numbers.
suppose delevery block is Road Permit.
this block contains 5 sales order numbers.so i want 5 letters .
Now i am getting for one sales order no .

          If the output is only one page per sales order....
         1. Hardcoded part would be repeated per each page.
         2. For the dynamic date ( sales order no. and sold to party details ),
             we can run a loop and print each sales order no. in different page
             with NEW-PAGE command....
          or another approach could be.. we have to call the generated FM for the
          smartform within a loop of the table which has all the data of sales orders
          for a delivery block....

I designed a smartform & print Pgm.( for Invoice not SAP standard)
How can i send multiple table(kna1,vbrk,vbrp,vbdk) data in to a smart form? & how can i declare that internal table in smart form & in print pgm?
And it is also not printing.even i set it in NACE.

Hi Raj,
You must have to create a new Structure and a new TABLE TYPE in program to send multiple data.
Lets say, you have created Main internal table in your print program to send multiple data to smartforms as below.
TYPES: BEGIN OF ty_cus,
          F1,
          F2,
          F3,
          F4,
       END OF ty_cus.
so, instead defining above types in your program, just create a new structure(lets say Z_CUS) with the above fields in SE11.
Then create new TABLE TYPE (ZT_CUS) with that structure (Z_CUS).
Now, in your print program, create internal table with the type of Z_CUS as below.
DATA: it_cus TYPE TABLE TYPE z_cus,
      wa_cus TYPE z_cus.
And in the Layout, Form interface - Tables section give it as below
IS_CUS    TYPE   ZT_CUS.
In your print program, assign your internal table to IS_CUS for generated function module.
CALL FUNCTION fm_module.
EXPORTING
IMPORTING
TABLES
   IS_CUS   = it_cus
EXCEPTIONS

Smartforms - Printing Label

Hello All,
I´m developing a smartform to print information in a label that has 6cm height.
My problem is that when I print the informaton the smartform prints information of the next label on the previous information. It seems that the smartform understands my label has 5cm of height.
How can I 'enlarge' the height of the window or table so smartform will print the correct information on the next label ?

The smartform receive information in Form interface -> Tables -> ZTB0014
Each register of this table is printing in one label. Then, my problem is that the smartform is printing two registers in one lable. It´s seens that the new-page function ins´t working.

Smartform Printing on both sides

Hi.
I am fasing an issue in smartform printing.
we are printing the Invoice.this invoice data is dynamically comming on the front side of the page.
and printing normally.
but back side of the page they want to print the comapany rules(on every page back side).(these rules are comming with in one page only).
so on the front side this invoice data and back side Comapany rules shouls come.(we don't know how many pages of invoice data will come).
Plesae help me to solve this issue.

HI Eswar,
If you have only one page made in your smartform you can make one more page with just the main wiindow.This window will have all the rules of the company.Now make the first page point to this page and make this page point to the first page.
Select duplex printing in the page attributes and print.This will solve the issue.
