Smartform problem with field in table

Hi everyone,
I have a strange issue.
I created a table within a smartform.
That table has a row with few fields.
Somehow, value of field 5 appears in field 4 (near value of field 4).
Of course, value of field 5 is meant to be displayed in its own column (column 5).
column4 | column5
|value4 value5
This problem doesn't occur everytime.
After lot of debugging, I did not get to any conclusion.

Hi ,
check the order of fields you are declaring in internal table and order in which they are retrieved in select query should match, else u can use move-corresponding fields of - in select query. Also try adjusting the column length in line type of the smartform

I m facing problem with field 'KONWA -Rate Unit (Currency or Percentage)' of table KONP. This field is showing Currency and '%' both in table KONP. For some materials its showing currency value and for some its showing '%'. Due to which its creating load problems. My question is how this '%' is coming (means is there any calculation behind that or something else) in table KONP and how can I identify this.

take the following example: you sell liquor to customers; in your country, when you sell liquor your company is entitled to pay customs and excise fees to governamental authorities.
These excises and duties are a percentage of the retail price. You'll then create such a condition record with this rate so that you calculation schema will post the correct value during the processing of billing documents...

Problem with field label

Hello All,
I am having a strange problem with field label? I have created a table with three fields one is MANDT and and the remaining fields as PATID and PATNA.
I am maintaining the field label for these fields, but still i am not getting the names of the fields while i am calling the structure in my alv tree.
I d'nt know what is the problem here?
can any one tell me how can i solve this issue?

Because while calling the FM it is populatinh the fieldname
so you need to modify the fieldcatalogue with fieldname then it will pick the field labels from the Dictionary.

Problem with checkbox on table component

Hello i am having a problem with checkbox in table component
i am developing something like a shopping cart app and i have a checkbox in my table component , i want users to select items from the checkbox to add to thier cart, They can select the items from cartegory combobox , my problem is when they select the items from the checkbox if they select another category the alread selected once do not display in my collection opbject please how can i maintain the state of the already selected items in my collection object

The details of the selected items need to be stored in an object that is in session scope.

Very urgent : Problem with field attributes in Datasource

Hi
I am getting a problem with field attributes in the datasource.
The issue came up after i modified the extract structure-i modified one field and
added one field to the structure.Now those two fields are not visible in BW.
When i checked with transaction rsa2, i could find that for those two fields , the
field attribute is <b>'A'</b> which is <b>'Field in OLTP and BW Hidden by SAP'</b>.
I tried to modify the field attribute to make it visible.Now the issue is that it is not getting reflected after transport in the Q system.What can be the issue.In the Q system its still the old value 'A' ,which makes the fields invisible.
Please let me know what can be the issue.

did you change this attribute via RSA2?
you need to change your datasource via postprocessing (RSA6); then transport your DS to your Q source system.
Replicate your datasources in your BW.
Finally modifiy your Transfer Structure by editing your TRules ( tab Datasource/Tran structure), move your new fields from the right frame to the left frame)
Maintain your TRules
Activate

Problem with field GL Account is that it shows concatenated Chart of Accoun

Hello . Please help me. We have sap BI olap universe . problem with field GL Account is that it shows concatenated Chart of Accounts. But user want to trim the chart of account and show only account in list of values in webi report.
So What code I can put in Universe to remove this " 9000/" WHICH IS Chart of acct from GL Account
example List of values shows
9000/99030
9000/99070
I want to show as below
99030
99070
I tried replace function in universe it does not work. Pls help.

Hi,
You can do it in Web Intelligence using the function Right().
Depending on the SAP BW version you have it is possible to build such calculated expression in universe on uniquename or name:
<EXPRESSION>RIGHT[0CALMONTH].currentmember.uniquename,5)</EXPRESSION>
OR
<EXPRESSION>RIGHT([0CALMONTH].currentmember.name,5)</EXPRESSION>
You have to replace 0CALMONTH by the unique definition of GL Accounts and you also need to use the object referencing GL Accounts in your query in addtion to the calculated expression.

Problem with field type STRING in table

Hi Experts,
I am new to ABAP. I have created a new transparent table which hold error info. One of the field has to store data of size about 1500 char.
Since CHAR type is not acceptable for this field So I gave STRING type. Now when I try to create a TABLE parameter in a RFC enabled functional module using "LIKE YERROR" Then I get a error:
"YERROR must be a flat structure. You cannot use internal tables, strings, references, or structure as component"
Why is this error? How to resolve it? Is it because I have used a field of type STRING in the table? If this is the problem then what other type can I use?
What are other know problems with using STRING type?

Problem with field "batch number" and table "et_item" at BBP_CONF_CHANGE

Hi experts!,
I have a problem when I use the badi BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and with the method BBP_CONF_CHANGE.
I want to fill the field "batch number" at web SRM with the PO number, I thought to write it at suitable or appropriate field at table "et_item" but this table has not any similar field which I can write it.

we cannot fill the BATCH field because it is not available in the table ET_ITEM in the method BBP_CONF_CHANGE.
Do you know how can we fill a default value in this field when the user is creating or modifying a confirmation item?

Smartform problem with FS [short dump]

Hi Abapers,
Am using <FS> in my smartform
it is using as Work area.
Bcoz my line item data Containing Amount and Quantity fields.
so when am not using <FS> i.e., if am declaring WA like <struc>
then its giving error message like Quantity does not exist.
when for is printing.
so thats why am using <FS> as my Work area.
when am looping my table data into <FS>.
for my main window table.
so when ever am having no line item data with respect to my Selection screen.
Then my line item internal table is empty in my driver program.
so when it comming to smartform <FS> is empty
then my form is going to Shortdump.
so how can i over come that it should not go to shortdump
even my line item data is not having records.
Pls give me any solution .....!

Actually am not having problem with Quantity and Currency fields.
My form is executing alright.
But ,
when ever am having no line item data with respect to my Selection Criteria.
Then my line item internal table is empty in my driver program.
so when it comming to smartform <FS> is empty

Smartform - problem with main window

Hi all,
I have following windows in my smartform first page.
First Page
-> secondary window 1
-> secondary window 2
-> main window
       1 template1
       2 template2
       3 command node
-> secondary window 3
I have the same windows in my next page. I am using the command node in main window for some specific condition to implement page break to next page. I am getting the next page with all the contents from the secondary windows but for some reason the main window in second page is not diplayed.
Please help me. Waiting....

Hi Raju,
One possible solution can be... first fix number of rows in a page. Then in the INITILIZATION use DESCRIBE command on your internal table. Then divide the number of lines by the number of line you have already fixed to be printed on a page. This will give the number of pages.
Now what you can do is... in your first page take a table node. In that create a table line with 13 columns and place the first 13 columns in that.
Then take a ALTERNATIVE node with condition sy-page = the number of pages which you have already calculated.
For this ALTERNATIVE node in the TRUE node take a COMMAND NODE with NEXT_PAGE(second page) in GO-TO-NEW-PAGE field.
And in the FALSE node take another COMMAND NODE with FIRST_PAGE(current page) in the GO-TO-NEW-PAGE field.
Untill unless you will reach the last page(which we have calculated) this condition will become false and hence the COMMAND NODE in the FALSE node will trigger and the current page will be triggered. This completes the printing of 13 columns for all your internal table rows.
Now in the NEXT_PAGE(second page) take another TABLE node and again create a new table line with the next 13 columns(14 to 26). And assign NEXT_PAGE in the Next Page field of this page(next page... hope you are not confused ). This will print the remaininig 13 lines.
But the problem with this solution is that the user has to sort the pages after getting the printouts and also the number of rows that will be printed are fixed on a page.

Problems with calculation in table footer

I’m working on a 'dynamic form’ with an expandable table (i.e. the user presses a button to add a new row), there are cells in each row for beginning month & ending month, plus an autocalc total field containing the formula: “ending – beginning +1” (which accurately calculates total months e.g. Jan-Dec = 12 months). There is also a ‘total months’ field in the footer which sums the row ‘total’ cells. The problem I have is that the user could add a blank row throwing off the total cell in the footer. Any suggestions to accomplish my goal of presenting accurate total in footer while ‘idiot proofing’ the form?

Problem with sap script table in main window

hi all,
i have created a sap script for which output is in 7 pages.
except first page all the remaining pages are giving the correct output.
the problem with the first page is iam not not getting vertical lines in the table which is in the main window of page 1.
iam getting the vertical lines correctly in the mainwindow table of all the remaining pages.

It's simple,
Pre- U should had declared a second page for the same window with header, main & footer.
now
First when u r looping the internal table provide no of rows eg Row 1 TO 10. in the Loop ( Data Tab)
or
when defing TEXT Go to PC Editor and mention all the fields Under PROTECT - ENDPROTECT.
This would solve the issue.

Problem with field symbols in ecc 6.0

i have the following code written in 4.6 version   now i am executing the old report   in 6.0 but i am facing with some unicode error.
FIELD-SYMBOLS:
    <line_of_bs_table> LIKE tbl1024,
   READ TABLE bs_table INDEX row_bst ASSIGNING <line_of_bs_table> .
    buffer_bsbuffer_ptr(aux) = <line_of_bs_table> >col_bst.
tb1024 is standard sap structure for storing buffer contents
i have the following error in ecc 6.0
structure type   '<line_of_bs_table> >+col_bst' does not start with a charecter type field in unicode programs in such cases
offset/ length declarations are not allowed.
can any one tell how can a field symbol structure is changed to charecter type.

Problem with field-length in sql-loader

(sorry I see it's the wrong forum -> SQL-Developer, I searched for SQL-Loader, is there a possibility to change the forum ?)
I can't find an answer for my question at google, so I hope there is someone in this forum who can help me.
I have a dat-File that contains 12 500 000 records and want to laod it via sql-loader. The first field contains the ID and there were numbers from 1 to 12 500 000 stored.
When I run the sql-loader, the ID run up to 9 999 999 and then, for the last 2 500 001 records, ist starts at 1 again.
I noticed a few things :
1. Numbers < 10 000 000 don't make Problems
2. Numbers >= 10 000 000 make Problems, the first digit ( in this example "1") is cut, so the number "10 000 001" ist stored as "1". It comes to double entries (IDs 1 to 2 500 000).
3. The same field-definition, I have for the third field of the record -> there is no Problem. THERE I can store any number.
4. I tried to store a number > 100 000 000 -> the first digit was cut too, but ONLY the first digit.
5. I'm able to store any number manually in the Database.
So, I have a problem with the first field. If the number is greater then 10 000 000, the first Number is cut. It doesn't make any differance, if the number is 10 000 000 or 999 999 999, just the first digit, in the first field, is cut.
Any idea ??????????

Problem with field symbol

Hi!
I have a problem with a field-symbol like this:
DATA: gt_coep_ext TYPE kaep_t_coep_ext.
field-symbols <gt_data> type table.
ASSIGN gt_coep_ext TO <gt_pos_data>
This field symbol is used in the FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY as output table. I need add two fields in this <gt_data>. Is there any way to add new fields in the <gt_data> structure.
