Smartform translation in SE63 is deleted after activate the form

Hello together,
I create a smartform and after activation I go to SE63 and translate this form to english.
After that I go back to the form an activate it again.
Now than all translations are gone !!!
Is that the normal behavior in SAP or is it my fault?

You have to be very careful when transilations....
follow the steps in this manner
1)VERY IMPORTANTLY NEVER OPEN AND ACTIVATE THE SMARTFORM WHEN YOU ARE IN SE63 .COME OUT OF THIS AND ACTIVATE THE FORM OR MAKES CHANGES ,WHAT I MEAN IS OPEN THE SMARTFORM WINDOW ONCE YOU COME OUT OF TRANSILATIONS
ITS SAP BEHAVIOUR ...NOT OUR PROBLEM.......
I FACED THE SAME BEHAVIOUR AND COULD RECTIFY
THIS ONLY BY FOLLOWING STEP 1.
PLEASE GIVE ME POINTS IF THIS IS HELPFUL.

Cannot Activate the Form

I have a PO form, I need make some modification, i use se71 to change the form layout, the use me22n to test the form. but it still is last version, no any update after the form has been changed. How can i activate the form, Thanks!

In SE71, make sure to activate from the menu.
In change mode, click "Form" -> "Activate"

Delete record from the form and from the database

hi,
i want delete record from the form and the database ,but the record is only delete from the from !!!

You have unique key field(s) on the table you are trying to insert which actually restricts you from inserting the same value again.
When you are deleting the record and issue commit there is a record to be inserted in the table which is a duplicate that's why you are getting this unique error.
As oracle is not able to insert your commit fails and stops your deletion of record from table

Knowledge of this could be abused. If I get free acess to someone else's Ipad, I can just spam saving PNG images over and over to see their sensitive images saved as a thumbnail overlapping the PNG image's thumbnail.
How do I delete the thumbnails? It seems that when you delete a photo, it saves the thumbnail. This is supported by the PNG images reviving deleted photos in the form of thumbnails.

Problems printing a converted PDF which was converted to Word after completing the form. I have spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out what I am doing incorrectly. I can't get it to print in either the PDF or Word file. Please help, I need to complete this form and sent it NJ Department of Motor Vehicles Commission.

Adobe Form is not opening after saved the form locally

Hi Experts,
I have implemented the adobe form using webdynpro java using ACF. The scenario is initially the form is loading with input fieIds and dropdown boxes after that the form data has to be submitted into backend.
I have encountered the problem that if i save the submitted form into locally and trying to open the form its not opening.
The server and other details are:
NetWeaver - 7.00(2004s) SPS3
Adobe reader - 9.0
ADS vesion - 7.01

1). If i will convert the forms from ACF to ZCI capability. Suppose if I want to fall back from ZCI to ACF forms then what is the solution for that?
Well you won't need to go back to ACF as such but if you want to then may be you can keep take backup of all forms.
2).After conversion of the forms to ZCI capability then what are the necessary steps i need to follow like abode form ui elements can be changed to webdynpro native ui elements type like that.
The Report generally mentions all the items in yellow/red for things to work on but yes if you have used ACF Controls you just need to update it by Native controls. From Web Dynpro form properties change the displayType property to native as well.

Smartform Translation using SE63 returns Error 'Incorrect Code Page'

Hi,
I have created a smartform in english & want to translate to Language IT, FR, DE.
I am able to translate it using SE63 for DE but unable to translate to IT, FR.
The error in status is <b>'Incorrect Code Page'</b>.
Language Attribute is set to : Translate to all Languages.
In SE63 the Source Language: EN, Target Language: IT
The Languages installed in the system is EN & DE only.
My questions on this issue:
1. Is it required the language fonts for IT & FR be uploaded & then the Translation in SE63 work fine ???.
2. Is some other parameter needs to be set.

If you need to translate the Smartform to any target language the Target Language must be intalled in the SAP System. The error occurs because IT, FR is not installed in the SAP System.
Installing the Language Code pages will solve the problem.

How to delete or activate the deletion flag for the sales order line item

Hi All,
I have one Cust order & with referance to that cust order one production order is created . The production order user has done the Goods issue with 261 movement type & GR wi 101 before 4 months back , & he has reverse the GR with 102 on todays date . but in materila master the variable prize is maintain thats why it is showing a differance in the cost .
User want to delete the Production order as well as the custemer order From MDO4 , So we have make the Production order TECO & save , it is gone form the MD04 but the Custumer order still there . It is not allow us to cancell or reject . We have tried to maintain the reason for rejection but it showing the message that you can not activate the deletion flag for the order .
Could you please Help me to find out the way how can i delete the custemer order ?

Reuse a key after activate the wrong alnguage pack

I have installed the english language pack and activated it.
after i realized my fault i deactivated and deinstalled it.
i installed the german language pack. but know there is a problem.
when i want to activate this version there is an error. is it possible to use this key for the german version or can i only use this key for the english version?

You can install your software in any languages with a license.
What error message do you get when you try to activate the software? Also, which colour are the squares in the NI-license manager?

Reflecting changes after closing the form..

Hi all
I have a procedure
in that procedure i have used go_block
i want to call the procedure when the user is exiting
let me give u a senario
scene 1)
the user is inserting a record after the insertion that procedure is to be called to adjust the values on the form.
after the user enters the values for the new record and clicks save button it works fine
i have called the procedure in key-commit
scene 2)
the user enters a new record and instead of clicking save closes the form
oracle asks if the user wants to save the changes
the user clicks yes
the record is saved
but the procedure does not fire as the code is written in key comit
and hence when the user opens the form the next time the changes are not reflected.
to overcome this i have tried writing the procedure in pre-commit,post_form_commit but it seems that because there is go_block in the procedure it says illegal rescricted procedure go_block in the triger.
i also tried using the times
but the timer wont fire as i am closing the form..
please can any one help me in this situation ..

How to add/delete rows on the form without saving data

I am new to apex
I am working on project and need some help on creating a form
my requirment is to save a request that has multiple questions.
i have a request form with multiple regions
On one of the region that takes questions, I want to create a tabular form such that i can add/delete/update row without hitting database and enter multiple questions
each row is one question.
Apex has the default functionality of having a tabular form linked to a table that onload shows the data from that table and also on click of add or delete hits the data base to save the data.
However i want to load a form that does not show any data if its a new request and click of add/delete should not update the databse. It should just add/delete a row on the form
so user logs in and can create a request that has multiple questions
finally want to submit the form and save all the information of the form in multiple tables.
As of now i a m able to have a simple form and a process that save 1 question per request.
How do i achieve this. Please assist.

Attaching a file after signing the form

Hi,
On my form there are two signatures. On signing the first signature field all the fieds above it get locked. Then i have the attchments sections and below it is the second signature field. But if i sign the first signature field the attachment(import data object) wont work.I know this is clearly tampering with the pdf after the form is signed. I handled the exception and it says " Not allowed error : Security settings prevent access to this property or method". But stil,l is there any workaround through which i can achieve this business requirement ? Please help !!!

I fell foul of this as well and I couldn't find a workaround. Once the form is signed the process of attaching a file appears to be considered too much of a change.
For one form we dropped the digital signatures and went with a less secure/robust method of indicating that a section was signed, just so that we could maintain the ability of attaching files throughout the form process.
I'm afraid it is either one or the other - digital signature or attach files.

How can I to resolve a write protected form after updating the form?

The following error is displayed after updating a form “Any changes made to this form cannot be saved.” These are the steps taken to update the form:
1)      Move form to Workbench ES Resources.
2)      Point Variables to new form
3)      Invoke process
The updated form is posted on Workspace. LAN users can make changes and submit the form, but WAN users get the error above and cannot make any changes.

Updating status of multiple records after saving the form

Hi all
I have a tabular form
It has a column status (new,good ,very good ,excellent are the list options)
The user goes and modifies a number of records on the detail block and saves the records
what i want to do is that when the user clicks the save button after updating any number of records
the status field should be updated with the value (new)
the status field of those records should be updated with the new value which the user has modified not all the records
Please let me know how to go about it

i want to update only those records that the user has modified
eg

1 ABC good
2 PQR good

4 lmn excellent
5 abcz excellent
is the table before the user modifies
the user goes and modifies multiple records as following
col1 col2 status
1 aaa good
2 PQR good
3 xxx good
4 sss excellent
5 abcz excellent
and the user saves the form
now i want the following output
col1 col2 status
1 aaa new
2 PQR good
3 xxx new
4 sss new
5 abcz excellent
only the modified record's status should be updated

Deleting data in the forms

Is there any way that when i promote the data form to my superior, he can get a prompt mentioning that whether he wants to delete the data or not. If he says yes then data from the intersection should be deleted? I think can be achieved through run time prompts and calculation scripts but need more clarification. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
You can certainly use a business rule to delete the data, the values on the form can be passed to the business rule and then the data is deleted.
Business rules can be run on load (depending on version) and run on save, though if you go down this route a business rule set to run on load cannot contain run time prompts and if you pick to run on save then there is not really a cancel button to the business rule (you can only close the window).
There is also the option of using menus, where you can right click on the form to open a menu which can link to run a business rule, you also have the option to change the business rule title and change the OK, Cancel button title.
Another possible option would be to use custom javascript which opens a message box to ask whether you want to delete the data, if you click yes then open the business rule prompt window.
