Smartforms activated without error but message TD422

Hi,
I have a smartform to print bar code on Zebra. It is running well.
I suppress one command to be on line with one OSS note.
I check: No errors.
I activate : No problem.
I use it and get the error mesage TD422 Not activated or with errors ????
Have you ideas ?

A typical error: A text element in window ... does not contain a name. In this case, display the text elements and ensure that each text element (format column /E) has a name so that it can be addressed by the print program. The default text element (at the beginning, no /E) is addressed and processed automatically. Never enter /E without a name following it.

Pretty interesting question:
I have multy period's bank file (transactions for 3 accounting periods), all settings are according the manual on AP and CM sides done.
Statement's Import finished without errors, AutoReconciliation finished without errors, but Statement still have status UNRECONCILED and on AP side transactionsin ap_checks_all table still have STATUS_LOOKUP_CODE as NEGOTIABLE, and CLEARED_AMOUNT, CLEARED_DATE, REQUEST_ID, CLEARED_ERROR_AMOUNT and ACTUAL_VALUE_DATE fields are still empty.
The periods were OPEN at the time of a run.
Only when I go to the Statement in CM and open the lines and reconcile them one by one it works.
Please advise, any help will be appreciated!

Assign MO: Security Profile Option to your user id
Run Autoreconciliation Program now. The issue should be resolved.

I have had the same problem for WEEKS and I cannot access any sites that use Flash. Flash has been installed on this computer since I bought it in 2012. I have allowed auto updates but for weeks the updates never get past Step 2 - is this because I do NOT want the Google Tool bar? I use NO tool bars as there is only 6 inches of vertical screen space. Is this because I uncheck wanting Chrome as a default browser? It is already installed, I just don't use it. I came to this site and ran the check is it installed and the system says it is either not installed or not enabled. Version 14 just downloaded about 30 minutes ago - but did not progress to Step 3 although a pop up screen came up with a finish button, which I clicked. WHAT is the problem and how do I fix it? If this were just a compatibility bug between IE11 and Adobe they have had plenty of time to fix it.

Mapping executes without error, but does nothing.

I've created 21 mappings. 20 mappings work flawlessly and one gives me headaches!
The mapping is from type: PLSQL.
It's using an external table to access an 554MB textfile. The OS is RedHat Enterprise Linux WS release 3, Oracle 9.2.0.5, OWB 9.2 + latest patch.
When I validate the mapping -> everything is okay.
When I execute the mapping via OEM -> Success message -> in audit browser: 0 rows inserted.
When I execute the mapping manually -> Success message -> 0 rows inserted.
When I look at the target table -> 0 rows.
When I do "select count(*) from external_table_20", I get the correct count for records!
When I do "create table temp1 as select * from external_table_20 where 1 = 0" I get the correct table structure.
When I do "insert into temp1 select * from external_table_20", sqlplus blocks for about 10 seconds, but then there are 0 records inserted.
There are no errors in the kernels logfiles (no read, write or media errors).
There is no error message in SQLplus.
There is no entire in the alert file of the database.
It just does nothing!
I drop the mapping, the target table and the external table -> and recreated them again (one at a time) -> Same as above. I can count the external_table but the mapping doesn't insert any data. I still can't insert the table on myself.
So, what can I do now? There is enough space on every tablespace left -> just in case I extended all of them to make sure there will be at least twice as much space as 554 MB (the size of the textfile).
Its ervy strange that there is not a single error message or warning!

The external tables are tricky because if you make one trivial mistake when describing the records (such as a wrong field length or type), the end result will be that the query against the FT will return no errors, but there will be zero or some weard number of records returned. I suggest to check again the record description and to try to select from the external table (after it is deployed) from SQL plus.
Also, when configuring the flat file in OWB you can define the log file that will trace FT creation errors during deployment and a Bad file name that will direct the database to write records not fitting into the FT definition to the location specified in 'Bad file name'.
These configuration parameters can be of help when struggling with the issues mentioned above.

2008 R2 Backups running without error, but doing FULL backups twice a week...

I have two Windows Server 2008 R2 systems which I am backing up with the native WSB utility. Both are VMs under ESXi 5.5 on the same physical Dell R710 host. Each has its own 2 TB USB connected device which was dedicated to and formated by and
for WSB. Both complete their respective backups without error and have been up for months.
On system A, WSB reports there are 243 copies available and examining the drive shows there is 288 GB free of the 1.81 TB total.
On system B, WSB reports there are 11 copies available and examining the drive shows there is 1.33 TB free of the 1.81 TB total.
My question is, why doesn't system B leverage a similar amount of the drive?

I may be way off base as I'm a real estate agent not an IT person and I've just started learning about WSB/wbadmin last week, but here are my thoughts:
1. Mandy's response is all about MaxShadowCopies which has little to do with the OPs issue (I think). MaxShadowCopies is associated with "Client Accessible Shadow Copies" and related "Shadow Copies for Shared Folders." Useful for when
you accidentally delete or mess up a file in some way and you quickly and easily restore a previous version of that file via the file's properties window. Going down the wrong path with this I think except for the small caveat that the absolute 512 shadow
copy maximum applies to WSB shadow copies. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
2. system B may have hit the "Maximum Shadow Copy Storage Space" setting for that volume. From the command line, use command "vssadmin list shadowstorage" and compare the "used shadow copy storage space" to the Maximum.
If it is close, or if an additional backup would cause it to exceed the limit, the system will delete backups from shadow copy until there is room for the new one (again, "I think" this is so). See the vssadmin resize shadowstorage" command
options for adjusting the size.
3. I've read a few examples where the free space shown via a drive's properties was wrong for various reasons so maybe this is your circumstance. So, system B may have had much less available space than you think, and because of limited space, The new
full backup takes priority and WSB is automatically deleting older shadow copy snapshots in order to make room for the new backup. Run chkdsk on that volume and see what the "available" space is.
Also, If it turns out you do have a space issue, Do you know for sure that your backups are succeeding? If the low number of backups is due to limited space, it could also cause the new backups to fail due to not enough space.
Caveat on all of the above: I am quite uncertain about all of this, so hopefully someone will chime in and corroborate or correct my comments.
As a parting thought, I'll have to say that after reading the forum for a few hours trying to learn about WSB/wbadmin it is disappointing to see, in thread after thread, so many canned responses linking the same reference material without any attempt to actually
answer the OPs questions or deepen understanding of the subject. Is this forum managed by paid employees? If so, it feels like many simply locate a document that "might" be related, then they copy and paste a link along with a few statements
directly from said document. No added insights of their own, no furthering or revealing of nuances about the subject at all. Mandy's post above is a prime example. Just an observation from a new visitor to this forum.
PS - I did notice that "Sriram [MSFT]" posted some very very helpful comments on the WSB & VSS subjects, just wish there were more like his.

Camera tracker solving without errors but not showing result points

hi
I am trying the new camera tracker in AE cs6,
im using very simple shots that can be tracked easily,
and im having some strange behaviours,
basically in many shots the analysis takes places with no errors but after the camera solve no result points appear, even if i use the advanced mode , changing all other parameters etc, and no errors are reported anywhere, also i select the effect on the panel and i also make sure the points size parameters are scaled up,
but if i click on processing points (the unchecked box below 3d solve) i can see they are all there, and i can also create camera and the camera is created, so its as if all the process takes place correctly but for some reason the solve points are not shown on screen
it has happened to me that with same shot sometimes they appeared and sometimes not, but most times they dont
what can be happening in here?

if i click on
Render Track Points
i can see there are great track points that follow all the movement perfectly,
and yet without checking that box no solve points appear, even when i select the effect on effects panel
or change any other parameter or do the advanced mode
i can still click on create camera etc, but i cannot attach a text etc to a specific solve point because no solve points appear
and yet as i say, if i click on the Render Track Points box i can see great tracking points all over the place following the action
so the fact that selecting Render Track Points on effects panel shows great perfect points following all , does that confirm that camera solve was successful?
i just cannot understand why i cannot see any solve points that i can interact with
i have tried to scale sizes all the way up, select effect on panel and hundred other things

Cannot call subVI without errors-- but fine as standard VI

Hello all,
I have a VI that works perfectly fine when run independently of anything else, but when called from another VI (which I rather need to do) it chokes, and I get a VISA command error (as in, it returns an error saying there's a problem with the command sent to the program). To be perfectly clear, it's getting the _exact_ same input manually and via the super-VI.
I'm a little confused both as to how this is possible and what to do about it. I've tried clearing the VISA buffers in question before calling this VI, to no avail, and am not sure I can close and reopen without causing other problems. Does anyone have any ideas?

We recommend posting the VIs. If you have more than one (sounds like you should) then zip up the files and post the zip file.

Have been going into and out of Firefox since 1530GMT without problems but message on main screen has change to normal one from stating "Upgrade to latest version" and I'm puzzled how that can have happened ?

This is a follow up to my message sent around 1529GMT where very time I started Firefox, it would show the message "Upgrade to latest version. So I did - every day for last four days - but the Upgrade message would still be there. Suddenly, today from 1600-ish GMT the problem has disappeared. Has someone changed something somewhere ?

File download code works without error, but no file is downloaded

Hello,
I have a very strange problem -- I am trying to download a
simple file from a server, using virtually identical code to what
is in the FileReference.download() examples. My code executes
flawlessly, I get the browse window to select the location to save
and name of the file, as expected. I click "Save" in the file
dialog, and the window disappears -- but no file. I know my URL is
right, because I can test the URL from the browser, and I get the
file back. But here's the even weirder thing: I threw TCPMon in
between Flex and the server, and discovered that the
FileReference.download() method isn't even sending a request to the
server. If I try the exact same URL through a browser, TCPMon shows
both the request and response. But Flex never registers a request
at all.
Help! I have 100% error free code that follows the
documentation examples but doesn't request or download the file.

I found the answer to my problem, but now I want to know WHY
this is, and if it is considered a bug by Adobe -- if anyone out
there has an explanation, that would be great.
I implemented the full set of event handlers, and guess what
-- not only was I not getting any HTTP request being made, but I
also didn't get any event callbacks. Bottom line, I think I found
an Actionscript bug.
The answer to the $64,000 question is this: when the
FileReference object goes out of scope (I had it declared locally),
because the download() call is asynchronous, it doesn't call event
handlers or make a request. It must be garbage collecting it. So
you have to have your variable as a member, not a local variable.
Weird. I find no other objects in Actionscript work like that. I
wonder if it has something to do with the fact that the call
crosses the native boundary (because it is leaving the Flash
sandbox, and interacting with the browser/native OS.
To me, that's like prematurely killing a thread before it has
completed processing just because it has no parent object with a
reference to it. In general, most rules for garbage collection I've
seen in various platforms require either a parent object or thread
of processing to prevent cleanup.
If anyone has an explanation, I'm all ears!

Disk utility: Disk without errors but won´t mount after testing

I have a strange problem with disk utilities. I tested an external FW drive and disk utility says that the disk is oK. Unfortunately after testing the disk and closing disk utility the disk won´t mount again. I did this several times but without success. Any hints whatßs going wrong?

Power down and disconnect the FWHD, Restart, zapping the PRAM as detailed in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379 and restart. Reconnect the FWHD and power it up. That should do the trick.

Manual Bank Statement: saved & posted without errors but no FI doc

Hi,
I entered details for manual bank statement to clear a vendor payment.
The transaction used was "003- Cashed Check", which has interpretation algorithm "021 Reference document number search". I've read in another Forum thread that this interpretation algorithm searches for the data stored in the Reference field of the payment document. So I entered the same data in the Bank Reference field in the manual bank statement.
The system did not throw any error, so I saved the bank statment and consequently posted. The status of the statement is "Manu. Posting complete".
As far as I understand, when the statement is "posted", an FI doc will be automatically posted with the following entry:
     DR Bank Check outgoing
     CR Main Bank Account GL
However, I cannot see this posting in both the Main Bank Account and Bank Check outgoing GLs.
Am I missing any step? Or is the config wrong?

I searched many posts in this form, and could not find an answer to my problem.
Trying to install XE on a server 2003. Installation proceeds successfully almost to an end, and then installation window disappears, without any message, error or warning.
New ORACLE_HOME, created up to this point, also disappears.
Logfile has the following entries, C:\WINDOWS\OracleDatabaseXEServerInstall.log:
MSI (s) (F8:C0) [16:04:44:540]: Note: 1: 1708

I know that the server is behind the firewall, and does not have connection to the internet. It is connected to the network, and other servers and desktops, though.

I am having the same issue, both on a windows 2003 server and on a XP client PC. The installation progresses up to a point after which the installation window disappears without errors or messages. I tried as a domain administrator, as a local administrator and removed other Oracle software, rebooted, checked for virus scanners etcetera, withou result.
I searched through the forums but could not find a solution.
Any idea's?

Pop-Up Menus and active content errors - Help!

I'm attempting to add pop-up menus to my navigation bar, to
make my site more user-friendly, but to no avail:
I've tried designing pop-up menus in Fireworks, then
importing the html code in, but that gives me errors when I try to
insert the bar. Then, I tried putting my menus in different layers,
with a "show layer" behavior on the button, and a "hide layer"
behavior attached to the roll-off of the layer, but my version of
Dreamweaver won't attach a behavior to a layer.
Then, I noticed the tech-note on this site for the fix to use
pop-ups in a template, so I added pop-up menus directly to my
navigational buttons using the wizard. So here's where my problem
comes in. . .
When I preview my page, it throws up an active content error,
but will still run. I uploaded it to my remote server, but when I
went to the url, no action takes place when I put my cursor over
it. Anybody have any ideas on how to create a pop-up menu that
won't throw up an active content error? I've seen them on plenty of
websites before, but can't figure how to do them.
Any light you could shed would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes, they make your site less user-friendly. So be
careful.
The DW/FW pop-up menus are usually something that should be
avoided. They
are very poorly thought out and implemented, and will likely
cause you
continuing problems. It's foolish to devote the time to them
that could be
more effectively be placed elsewhere, especially since there
are better
options that work right out of the box, so to speak. Please
check the free
and commercial options here -

Running a query in a View Designer results in an error, but running the same query in a Query window works

Hi everyone,
Just as my title says, I have a query which I've written in a query window and it works perfectly.
But when I try to add the query code into the view designer, it throws a Syntax error.
Error in ON clause near '('.Unable to parse query text.
Also, when running the query from the view designer (pressing red exclamation mark) I get a different error.
SQL Execution Error.Executed SQL statement: SELECT Sku, ParentSku, UPC, ...Error Source: .Net SqlClient Data ProviderError Message: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
Has anyone else experienced this and is there any workaround?
I have tried to create the view with T-SQL (CREATE VIEW etc.), but when opening it in the view designer I get the error from the 1st image.

Hi Radu,
Yes, I have faced similar issue. I had a View and it was working totally fine but when once I opened it in via right click - View Design, it was giving parse error.
Cause is that Query designer parse and executes the query without error but the way View designer works, it can't parse it.
Later I ignored View desinger and just used T-SQL like CREATE/ALTER view.
Workaround is to do right click on View - Script View as - CREATE To/ ATER To.
Regarding Timeout error, again the issue with View designer which couldn't execute query in there and ended up with timeout error.
If your SELECT query and SELECT * FROM YourView works fine in Query designer, you are good to go.

How do I get CC to find apps installed under the previous version?
And how do I get Lightroom CC to run?

I still don't know how to get CC to find that I have Photoshop CC installed, but running Creative Cloud, going to Preferences and signing out, then signing in again got Lightroom CC to work.
Since Photoshop CC is still working despite apparently not being installed things are now OK, at least for the moment. But I'm not feeling at all happy with Adobe.
