SmartForms printing on ZEBRA TLP 2844 doesn't work!

Hi,
I am using Zebra printer TLP 2844.
I have created the Output Devices: ZEBRA
And Device Type: ZLZEB2 Zebra label printer 203dpi.
I have created the Smartstyle having the paragraph format with font Helve.
When i execute the Smart form and check print immediatly but nothing comes out.
Can anyone suggest whats going wrong.
I also started SAPLPD .... there is a line of printing, but nothing comes out.
I can see print preview.
This is local printer so I choose:
Host Spool Access Method F: ... for testing
Host printer __DEFAULT
Can somebody help me about that?

Ask basis guys to reinstall the Zebra printer driver in SAP. It will resolve the problem

Well I just tested it on one machine and it works with both IP and bonjour printing.
One strange thing though. I added the printer and then selected print from the file menu. Almost imediatley after hitting print, a job goes into the queue called "Supplies Levels" with the status "Deleted". It clogs up the queue. I delete the job I sent to print. The "Supplies Levels" stays. The next time I print, it prints fine and the bogus job disappears and there are no problems after that. I have recreated this several times.

What have you tried?
You are going to get nowhere quick with the 6.1 utility in Mountain Lion if this is the only OS you have available.
Look up how to install 5.6 utility under ML. At least then you can see printers. That is assuming you are trying to use USB.
Has this worked ever on Mountain Lion? Did you download the drivers for that printer for ML?
Plug it into a computer directly.. does it work? If it doesn't work locally it sure will not work via the network.

SmartForms printing on ZEBRA S4M doesn't work!

I heard that we can use SmartForms to design label. We would prefer to use SmartForms instead of Bar-One if possible.
I've read the following OSS notes very carefully :
750772 - Information on the ZPL-2 printer driver for SF
750002 - SmartForms: Support Zebra label printer (ZPL2)
We are using Zebra S4M printer.
Basis installed the Zebra S4M driver. I did a print configuration test and it works well, so I suppose the printer has been installed correctly.

According to the OSS notes, our system should be capable to work.
1. I create the device type ZLZEB2 using program RSTXSCRP.
This create the device type with the following parameters:
Version: 3
Driver: LZPL Zebra Programming Language 2
Printer driver: Do not use printer driver for ABAP list...
Argument: R203
Character set: 1162 Printer LB_ZEB IBM 850(internal fonts)
2. I create an output device ZEBRA_S4M with parameters:
Device Type: ZLZEB2 Zebra label printer 203dpi
Device Class: Standard printer
Host Spool Access Method: C
Host printer:
svr25node2prd.jacob.grpPrinter-EtiquetteTI
Host Name: svr20dev
3. I create a SmartStyle.
In the Header Data section, I put the font Helve 12 and I create one paragraph with a left-alignment, very simple.
4. I create a SmartForm
Page Format: LETTER
Style: SmartStyle created in step 3
Then I create a secondary window with one text where
I wrote "Test on Zebra S4M"
Also, in the main window, I change the left margin and upper margin to 0.
5. Printing
After activating the SmartForm & SmartStyle
From SmartForm, F8-F8-F8 then I choose my output device, check print immediatly but nothing comes out???
Does anybody no why? or could help me??

I have a question. I have designed my smartform with a style which is a label. I am able to get the data from the application program. I should print it on a zebra printer. I can see the print preview too.
When I give a print in the spool requests it shows me <b>Completed</b>.
In the printer it is not printing . should I go for ZPL language and do that or is there any other way...

I can't print anymore, the "help" button doesn't work, and Firefox always sets to "Never Remember History" even if I change it

SO many issues with Firefox now! For one, it crashes quite a bit. I submit the crash report, and go from there. Keeps happening. But the main thing is this:
I go to "Options" and under "Privacy" it has "Never remember history" - I change it to "use custom settings for history", hit "ok" and then when I go back to it, it's back on "never remember history" already. What gives?
The issues I'm having right now is that I used to click on Print in my email (Yahoo) and pop-up blocker would stop it, but a dialog would pop up saying "try again", and I would hit that, and a separate window would open where I could print the email. Now, when I click on print, NOTHING happens. No box, no changes whatsoever. No pop-ups blocked, nothing at all. I mean, the button for "print" doesn't even react like I clicked on it. Nothing happens.
The other issue is that when there's a text box, if I start to type my email address, it suggests my email address. It never used to do this! I don't want this, either. How can I stop the suggesting of my email address. I don't want it to remember what I typed!
Another issue with Firefox is that when I click on the "menu" button in the top right, there's a question mark that says "open help menu" at the bottom. When I click on that, the help menu is EMPTY. I included a picture so you can see.
I've "reloaded Firefox", as well as downloaded another copy and actually reinstalled it. All these errors keep happening. How can I get them to stop or function correctly? What's causing them to work all wonky?

The "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
Firefox shows "Use custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.
If all History settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".
"Never Remember History" means that Private Browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" gets a checkmark.
You need to remove the checkmark on "Always use private browsing mode" to leave Private Browsing mode or chose the "Remember History" setting.

Print with ultiboard 10.0 doesn't work with hp laserjet 4

I'm trying to print my ultiboard 10.0 design, but I get every time a blank page.
It's a HP LaserJet 4 Plus network printer, an other printer HP LaserJet P3005 PCL 6 work perfect, but isn't installed in my office.
Word, Multisim etc.print without problems with the HP LaserJet 4 Plus.
Editing the DPI doesn't solve the problem.

Please try different browsers. Sometimes the pop up blocker is turned on which does not allow you to view the invoices.

The reason I am mentioning it because the invoices are visible in your account from Adobe. I have viewed them. You can try changing the region & check. It should work.

Reset to 'default' for all printing functions in about:config doesn't work.

I have followed the instructions for resetting FFox printer interface to "default", where it should normally be, to the letter: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages#Reset_printer
The system keeps flipping all the printer settings back to "User". Somehow it went into "User" setting 2 weeks ago, and I was able to correct the problem for a few days by following the instructions on the web page above, resetting just the print.print_printer line, alone. Now, ALL the other "print" lines below this will NOT remain in "default" mode once I've closed the about:config page (tab), or closed the browser and re-opened it, under any circumstances. The problem manifests as: When I try to print, starting from ANY true print command location and finally clicking "OK" to begin printing, I get a small rectangular box saying only, " an unknown error occurred while printing". The box has one of those yellow triangular signs with an exclamation point in it, if that helps. There's no error no. If there's something about the WAY I'm supposed to close the about:config tab, and/or close the browser that is SPECIFIC, I hope someone here can tell me the way I'm supposed to execute this. Thank you.

If you don't have the Menu Bar displayed, right click just above the address bar and place a tick against Menu Bar. Now click Tools, click Add-ons,click the Extensions tab, left click Smart Web Printing once to highlight it and then click the Uninstall option. When done, restart Firefox.

"Print each stage of builds" doesn't work as expected

Hi,
I try to create a pdf of my slides. Therefore I use the print dialog and save the slides I want as pdf. I also want to "Print each stage of builds" which produces some unexpected result. If I use the option "Print each stage of builds" the numbering of the slides seems to change.
Example:
1. Make a presentation with three slides.
2. Put three lines of text on every slide (e.g. "Slide I / Line I" for the first line of text on the first slide and do it this way for every slide and line. This will give you unique information on the output.)
3. Add an animation for every line to appear after a mouse click
4. Print slide 3 to 3 and select the option "Print each stage of builds"
Question: Whats the output of the pdf?
Answer: The first slide with two lines .
But this is definitely not what I want if I want to print slide 3, especially if you have a presentation with about 290 slides (for a lecture) and you want to print only a few of them.
Is there a workaround?

The "Print what you like" bookmarklet doesn't work since the upgrade. When you click it, nothing happens.

I use a program called "print what you like", and I have a bookmarklet installed for it. So when I'm on a page I want to use the program on, I click the bookmarklet and a sidebar window opens allowing me to modify the web page, etc. to how I want it before I print it. Now, when I'm on a page I want to use it on, when I click the bookmarklet, nothing happens. Some small text briefly appears about javascript??? but then disappears. So now I can't use the program.

Do you have javascript enabled in Firefox? To use bookmarklets, that is necessary.

PDF and Illustrator CC opacity mask. The opacity mask displays perfectly in the print preview, and in the pdf document when viewed on my computer, but when printed the gradient opacity mask doesn't work. Any suggestions? Have not had this problem in ot

Never had this issues in previous versions. This IS a black/white gradient opacity mask over a black and white photo, but still don't think that is the problem.

Problem with a Zebra Printer TLP 2844

Hi all
We have a problem with a Zebra TLP 2844 barcode printer. I can´t print any document(common documents or barcode levels Sapscript).
I read and applied the note: "Note 179534 - Label printing with Zebra printers (SAPscript)" without sucesfully (and import ZLB_ZEB2 and zlb_ZEB non sap native drivers)
1) printer is attached to pc-windows host with sapsprint and is shared resource
2) from R/3, access method is S
namepcprinter and Device Type: ZLB_ZEB2
3) From R/3, the spool request for Zebra are finished ok but they aren´t printed
4) if connect a HP printer using this procedure, then the document are printed ok.
The documents sending from Windows (words,txt docs) are printed ok !!!
There aren´t errors for sapsprint log.
Does anyone help me, is this model of "Zebra" compatible for SAP?

I would like to know which driver SAP is suggesting to use for your printer? Are you using that one?
Also, is the printer driver is properly installed?
Are you able to see the print overview?
Please check if the proper printer driver is installed. You can get an idea about the drivers from below link:

Inverting Smartform output on Zebra Printer

Hi Gurus,
I am printing a SmartForm on a Zebra LP 2844-Z Thermal Printer. The label is coming out fine. However, due to the nature of my thermal labels (there is a small insert that you peel off separately) I need to print the label upside down.
I have included a COMMAND node in my SmartForm with 'S_LZPL_SETUP' in the Attribute Field and '^POI' (Page Orientation Inverse) as the Attribute Value. When I print out the SmartForm, the labels are still the wrong way around!
I am using the ZLZEB2 (ISO 8859-1 (Latin) 203 dpi ZPL-II) driver.
Any assistance or thoughts on this will be much appreciated.

on page 40 didn't work. I just want to print two texts vertical. The rest of the lablel should be printed normal.

Now I have a solution for the rotation problem. For rotation single fields of the lable you have to create new print controls of your Z* Printer driver device. In this new control you can add the ^FWR (for rotating °90) and ^FWN (for normal print) print control.
I have tested it and it works.

Smartform Printing : Error in spool C call: Error from TemSe

Hi! everybody,
I am stating my problem as follows : I have to print a bar-code sticker of size 10 X 7 cms. I have worked on bar-codes before this also. This time the output from a smartform is to be given to a ZEBRA TLP 2844 printer. I initially encountered problems in printing. The data does not fit on to the page.
After a lot of searching I found that ZEBRA was a partner of SAP and that a special device type needs to be created for output from a ZEBRA printer. I did this two times. Each time my steps were as described under.
To create the device type I did the following :
1. I finally found the driver from the ZEBRA website from http://www.zebra.com/id/products/global/en/utilities/sap_device_types.UtilityFile.File.tmp/Zebra_SAP_Device_Types.zip From this I uploaded the driver for 203 DPI zebra printer with IBM code 850 font file name "YZB200.PRI" into the transaction SA38.
2. Then I created a new device ZEB10 in SPAD after assigning my format to the device.
Thereafter, I tried to print my sticker. During this procedure, on selection of the new device type, the fonts automatically changed to ARIAL in the print preview. When I give the print command (Spool request : Print immed = X, Delete after output = X & New spool request = X) it gives an error message Error in spool C call: Error from TemSe.
Since the output had not been issued, I opened the spool request to view its TemSe characteristics. Here I found

Print to pdf often doesn't work with multiple pages?

When I try to print to pdf, it often doesn't work right.
I can select, for example, multiple Excel worksheets to print. It looks fine with 4 pages in Preview, but when I select save as .pdf, it only prints 2 of the 4 pages, and it prints those in 2 separate documents rather than a single .pdf document with multiple pages.
Is there a way to do this? Is this an Apple error or Microsoft error? Since it looks fine in Preview, my guess it is an Apple error?

It sounds like this is the problem with the way Apple handles multiple orientations in a pdf document. You can use Acrobat to print the files - it handles multiple orientations correctly. There was a previous thread on this:
