Smartforms - truncated/lost characters; contin. fill of two cells/windows

Hi Experts,
I would write a long text into two columns. I would use a dynamic solution to define the break point between the two columns (I wouldn't use fixed lengthed rows).
The form contains only secondary windows, the text written is longer than the space available in the first column. So the end of the text may be truncated and lost.
Is there any function to get the last character of the first column (paying attention for the style, upper-case, lower-case, ...)?
Or, is there any settings to link two cells (in a template, fixed height)/two secondary windows together, to not to lost the text, but continue in the second node?

line1: like a newspaper. At first, I
line2: should fill the first column,

The two columns are side by side. All the text above is stored in an itab-tline. I write the text in a text node in sec.window1:
This is a continous (right side of sec.window1 is reached, the text is wrapped into a new line)
text, get from an (and so on)
When the bottom of sec.window1 is reached the remain text is truncated.
However, I should continue the text in another column/sec.window (column2)
The text written in column1/lines depends on the used font type, size, and the char too (check width: i or W). If the text is written in upper-case, the printed text is modified:
column1
line1: THIS IS A
line2: CONTINOUS
line3: TEXT, GET FROM
Smartforms wraps the text dynamically at the right side of the window. I've written a code to wrap the text when a declared length is get. But it is not a perfect solution, see example above.
So, I would need a FM which is able to calculate the wrap points before printing, or a solution to link sec.window2 to sec.window1 to continue the text printing.
I've tried template node in a secondary window too, w/o success.

and in between these two data i want one template to be printed for item data .

if i use two loop nodes in the main window thn how to restrict the data getting over flowed to template(item data)

As main window can only be one, so try it this way:
Under main window create a TEXT1 for header text( first header) than a LOOP1 for looping the header table, under that first create a TEXT2 for header data, than below it create another TEXT3 for header text ( Second header), than below it add a LOOP2 for looping item table and in that add a where condition than under it a TEXT4 for item data .
MAIN_WINDOW
    TEXT1                                     " first header
    LOOP1                                    " header table
        TEXT2                                 " header data
        TEXT3                                  " Second header
        LOOP2                                " item table with where condition
            TEXT4                             " item data

When I tried to update my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.1, I was forced to choose to restore or back up. Back up wasn't working so I had no choice but to restore. I lost pictures over the last two years. Cloud and iTunes backup are not working for me. Help!

How can I retrieve photos when it says my cloud and iTunes backups are empty or not backed up?

Yes phone will automatically backup to icloud when on wifi and phone is charge, but your phone storage was full so it stop backing up.

Smartform with Cyrillic characters

I have a smartform with Russian characters that works fine when using the font courcyr, but when using timecyr I get '#' in place of the cyrillic characters. I have no problem using the timecyr with sapscript, but the only way I can print cyrillic characters in a smartform is with courcyr and I want to use timecyr. Do smartforms use a different set of fonts than sapscript? Any ideas?

The language of the sapscript might be russian and smartform is not translated to russian.
If you are using message control for printing, make sure the output issued in the language you are trying to print.

Our network is a Small Business Windows 2003 network. After the Windows Updates this month both of our HP8000 (C4086A) networked printers truncate several characters left margin; and it doesn't make a difference what the OS is, Windows XP Pro or Windows 7; all 32 bit.
There are no issues printing to a networked Toshiba ES-555.

Lost characters (?) in Strings (UTF-8, Chinese)

Hi,
I keep having troubles with "lost" characters in Chinese.
Some Chinese characters in UTF-8 are displayed correctly and also stored correctly in my file, but some other characters just get lost(?) in the string.
Does anybody know what possibly could be the mistake?

I've lost two application windows -- how do I get them back?

I can't access two application windows -- Mail and Spotlight. I sometimes use a external monitor so this may be related to that.
When I switch to Mail, the Mail menu appears on top, but I do not see the window with my mailboxes in it. When I use Expose to see all the open windows, there's my Mail window, in light purple. I click on it, to select it, and the window zoooms away to the left, never to be seen again. The top menu indicates that I'm in Mail.
The same thing happens to me with Spotlight. I can search in Spotlight, but the results are in an inaccessible window that zooms away when I try to select it in Expose.
Plugging in an external monitor again does not retrieve the window, regardless of whether I mirror the displays or not. After searching these forums, I tried changing the screen resolution to 640x480 instead of 1024x768 but that didn't help. I looked in Library/Preferences to see if I could trash some preferences, but neither application seems to have any, that I know how to identify.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just in case this comes up for anyone else... I got the windows BACK by hooking my computer up to the external monitor, and REVERSING the arrangement of the monitors (so the one that was on the left was on the right, and vice versa). This placed the window in my field of view and I was able to retrieve it.

Since the information is variable and coming out of the print program, I can assume you want to print many labels but two to a page. Also, any page numbering, etc will need to be updated. This is easily accomplished with SAPScript but a feature people rarely use I believe. Here are the simple steps:
1) On the Windows Screen: Creat a main window for the size of the label, etc knowing that you will be putting multiple windows on a page. For example, if page size is 8.5 x 11, maybe your window size is 6 X 4 or something similar. You only need one main window defined.
2) Now go to Page Windows Screen. Add a window MAIN and down at the bottom where it says Window Type put in MAIN. Next to this field is a little field about two characters long. In here put in '01'.
3) Now Add another window MAIN and down at the bottom put in '02'.
Hopefully this gives you the idea. I've done this with up to 30 small windows in order to print variable window for labels on label stock such as Avery 8167, etc.

Why do two firefox windows open when I try to open just one?

Do you actually mean two separate windows or two tabs in the same window?
You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

With this code, i can check only one time the cells. If I clear cell2 press enter, and then I write in cell2 again it code doesn't work.

Assuming that you want to know 'if' (or 'how many times') two specific numbers occur in the range of cells from column B to column G in a single row, COUNTIF is the function you want.
Place the two target numbers into cell I1 and J1.
Enter the formula below into I2:
=COUNTIF($B2:$G2,I$1)
Fill the formula right into J2, then fill both down to row 4.
You'll get a count of the occurrences of each number.
If you want only a "Yes" (both numbers appear in the range) or "No" (neither of the numbers appear, or one appears but not the other), use this variation (in I2 or J2):
=IF(AND(COUNTIF($B2:$G2,I$1)>0,COUNTIF($B2:$G2,J$1)>0),"Yes","No")
