Smartofrms: add final page with LOGO (print invoice)

Hi all,
In Smartforms, I would like to insert a final page with the LOGO of the company in whole page size.
I already used &PAGE1(first) and &PAGE2(next) but I am not able of to call a third and final page (ENDPG).
I followed this steps:
- created the final page (ENDPG)
- created the window (WINLOGO) containts LOGO
- used commanD "go to new page" ( ENDPG ) in the window footer (TESTO_CODA in &PAGE1/&PAGE2)
   but the compilation is in error: "No new page allowed in secondary window"
I not sure wich command needs to do this operation.

Your approach is correct but you need to put the command node at the end of the MAIN window for your first/next page definitions, not in a secondary window.

Importing MS Word into PDF adds extra page with document info

I am still evaluating Acrobat Pro, including Life Cycle Designer to create Forms, currently testing converting existing forms made in MS Word to PDF. There is someting that I do not know how to resolve is when I import files from MS Word, an extra page with details info about the document is copied as well. It contains info such as number of pages, author, date of creation etc....20 lines of info.
This becomes akward when inserting the document into an existing pdf...or just create a new form from the Word document....adds the extra page ..
Is there a setup somewhere that I could modify to not have the extra info? or how do I delete it? I try to select the text but cannot (within life cycle)

If you are importing into Designer, you should ask in that forum. If in Acrobat, then you might try printing the WORD document to a PDF first and importing the PDF. However, with Acrobat you will not get the form fields that you are preserving with Designer.

PROBLEM WITH LOGO PRINTING IN REVERSE DIRECTION

When Ever I take the print out of the checks, The company logo is getting printed in reverse direction, but if i look at the print preview , it is showing up correctly. even if i take the print out of just the logo from SE78, the logo is getting printed out in reverse direction...I think it is the problem with the printer settings, but i m not sure. Can any one please help me out with this issue,

Hi,
Are you trying to get this print directly from the backend or some frondend application triggers your form? As I also faced same problem many a times but then observed that when smartform was triggered from frontend, logo was always in its right position.

Ebooks opened within IOS 8 frequently display a black page with white print

While reading books in IBook, if I stop reading and allow my IPad to shut down, it frequently restarts IBooks wit a black page and white print. So far, the only recovery is to power down the IPad and restart.
I don't recall this happening with IOS 7. Any suggestions to permanently stop the color swap between text and pages would be appreciated.

With a book open tap the AA icon top right and if 'auto-night theme' is 'on' then turn it 'off' and see if it that stops it changing to white on black.

Laserjet 1012 feeds pages with no printing - started with Lion installation.

laserjet 1012 stopped printing with Lion installation. Paper feeds correct number of pages but with no printing. Have contacted HP but since laserjet 1012 is old they refuse to help. Tried with new cartridge (had in stock) but still no printing. Have reset printers, checked that driver is current, etc. Help.

Unfortunately I have tried all - deleted and reinstalled the printer, printed from word, excel and PDF, updated the HP drivers last week with software update, ran software update this morning to make sure there was nothing new, and tried to print from my wife's iMac.
I am stumped!

Printing blank page with every printed page

I have a C7280 printer, and it has been working fine. However, it now sends out one blank page for every printed page. any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it?

go to an existing page, and make a link to the new page.

HP 2510 Photosmart - blank page with every print job

Um, rather too many steps in that for me to wade laboriously through for the sake of the odd blank page at the end of each print run (it's an annoying issue, but not life threatening though!).
But I can assure you that:
1. my PC to printer connections are fine
2. ink levels are fine
3. I clean my PC drives and registry regualrly (at least once every week) and this problem has persisted for months
4. I have rebooted my PC several times in the last few months, and also restarted the printer (due in part to occasional power cuts)
5. I have no software installed that I can delete
6. Test pages alays print fine (no extar page there then).
7. The extra page comes from all types of programme - Word, Adobe, Notepad etc)

Additional Page printed with each print

My Hp eprint 8600 prints a additional page with each print. This only occurs when I eprint from Pastel. The extra page has the following on it,"Tax Invoice number #### from Boland Dry Ice Bpk." I use Pastel Xpress Version 12 and I have Windows 7 Home Basic. I want to get rid of the extra page being printed, because it adds up to a lot of useless pages.
I have consulted with Pastel, and their customer service couldn't find any problem from Pastels side.
Maybe the subject gets printed when using Pastel....

I understand you have already addressed this issue with Pastel and you feel the issue is in some way related to the printer. I suggest running the Print and Scan Doctor. The HP Print and Scan Doctor was designed by HP to provide users with the troubleshooting and problem solving features needed to resolve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan products connected to Windows-based computers. Click here to download and run the utility.
If the Print and Scan does not find an issue, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Pastel program. I personally feel that the issue is related to the program, it seems as though something is stuck. Do you have a file on your computer related to "Tax Invoice number #### from Boland Dry Ice Bpk", or have you recently printed something similar?
If it was happening from other programs, I would suspect it was within the settings of the printer properties. There is an option there for adding or removing a separator page, but the issue you are experiencing is isolated to Pastel.

Help!! adding new pages to doc with logo!!!

I've posted various questions for a couple hours now, none are answered. Is everyone sleeping or does no one know how to use Pages?? I'm near tears and I've read the manual about 10 times and don't understand it. I've tried to Google it but I'm not even sure what exactly to Google.
I have an 18 page document in Pages. It's just a plain old word processing document. A list of Gluten Free restaurants in my area. I add new restaurants to this list all the time so it needs to re-order itself as it does as a plain word processing document.
I want to brand it more so I'm putting my logo and a little design in the bottom left corner of each page, or at least thats how I'd like it to look.
So I set up page one, saved it as a template, captured it, done everything I can think of. But when I copy the document and paste it into the text boxt on the first page of the new document with the little logo on the page, all the subsequent pages do NOT have that logo on them. Just the first page.
IF I set up 18 pages with the logo, and then paste it just adds 17 blank pages after that first page with the logo. And those 17 pages that I set up prior to pasting are after the pages it added after the paste that have no logo.
How do it get this to add a page with the logo in the corner??
So when I add 5 new restaurants and it has to add a page to fit them it it will have that logo. This can't be that hard to do. I need the doucment to automatically add new pages when text is add and those pages need to have the logo,
Please help me!!!

I'm sorry you think that Peter and it isn't true. Maybe you are testy because its 2 am.
I spent hours trying to figure it out on my own. I looked all over these forums, I Googled it, I went to other Apple tips and forums I am familar with, went thru the manual. I tried a lot of places first so I really don't think I'm demanding and I'm sorry if I came off that way.
I was just super frustrated. Not being very computer savvy can be super frustrating, often I find what I "think" might be the answer for something I'm looking for and I can't even understand the answer. I try, I follow the steps but some of the terms I don't know and then have to google and follow more steps and blah blah.
I'm sorry but I didn't just come here without doing research first for the answer, so its not fair to say I expected others to do the work for me. I did try. I agree the information here us beyond useful, I never could have done anything without out in the past, I've used it many times. But you can shoot the messenger if you want but the response time does seem slower. Not sure why you take that personally.

Banner page on windows print server messes up cifs printing

We're a small Mac population in a HUGE corporate environment. We're using Mac OSX 10.5 and Admit Mac to bind to AD. We set up printers through AD to print through windows print servers which works beautifully- unless the Print Server is set to produce a banner page with each print- then we get the banner page, a page of garbage and 20 blank pages. I can't request banner page be turned off for all printers we need access to. Has anyone experienced this? Found a work around? Know of a way to stop the banner page for Mac only prints?
We're setting the printer up with this command (for example): lpadmin -p printername -E -v smb://printserver.ou.domain.net/printername -P /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/HP\ Color\ LaserJet\ 5550.gz
I notice in the ipadmin man page there are commands for banner pages-
-o job-sheets-default=banner
-o job-sheets-default=banner,banner
Sets the default banner page(s) to use for print jobs.
Is there a setting to not print banner pages on the client side?

In preview it is showing perfectly
But in print out it is showing it is showing

Hi,
If you have uploaded the logo from the desktop means it will come like that if you want to remove the dots before saving the logo first the image as 256 bit format image and then upload.
Or else if you are using an already existing image then change the resolution of the image in the smartform and then if the problem persists try to take the print out by changing the printer there if it is coming fine means then the problem will be with the printer.

When you say field, do you mean specifically a form field, such as a text field? Or is the information regular text on the page?

Third party cleaning utilities are not necessary on a Mac and can only cause problems.

Growl is un necessary and can slow the system down > Growl - Removing Growl
If you want to monitor the system, use the pre installed Activity Monitor app located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Then restart your Mac.
