SMB stuck in a senseless Skype support loop. Not...

Hello everyone,
We've been stuck now for about 5 days in the most frustrating support/validation loop with Skype in order to try to regain control of one of our regional offices Skype Manager environments.
In short.  The account used to manage that environment was compromised.   Now they have their validation process to regain control of an account, but in this case its just not working.   My staff in the office are unable to recall all the little details about that 1 compromised account. 
However, the Skype Manager environment is registered to our business address, company, and previous validation for change of business address all happened over email from our corporate domain.  As well, all our charges have been paid using a corporate business card.   But, they won't remove the compromised account from the environment, and allow us to add a new one saying everything must be validated against the 1 user account.   Not the business details of the Skype Manager environment.   
So here we sit with one of our sales offices held hostage in an endless loop of, fill out this form, sorry you got something wrong on it, but we can't tell you what.
How can they not have an escalation process for businesses that need to regain control of their skype manager environment.   
I guess our only option is to give up trying to use it for business purposes.  
Has anyone here had similar experiences with them?

    'Other' is a totally worthless classification of disk usage because it telsl you absolutely nothing at all about where the space is being used as you have discovered.
    I suggest you download and install OmniDiskSweeper. It will tell you the folders and files that using the most disk space so that you can make intelligent decisions about what to delete or move.

  • HP envy stuck in endless windows log on loop - Fkeys don't work

    This laptop has not worked well and I have been very unhappy with it. The speakers are weak, and buttons stick, but I can live with those issues. Yesterday, the laptop froze, and when I did a hard boot, to restart, it became stuck in an endless log on loop. I've searched the forum for answers and no remedy has been found. I took it to a place that says 'they fix computers', and they told me for $300 they can send it out to repair the hard drive... they decided that the problem is that my laptop runs hot. That's true too..... another problem. UGH!

  • Account Hacked - Skype Support Useless - NO REFUND...

    So my skype account was hacked last week, just found out right now. Luckly my credit card on file had expired so they only ate $8. To make it worse, the Skype login and password change system on the website isn't working properly (even though their heart beat page says its fixed), and Skype support kept trying shift the login problems on me. Oh... and no refunds? Hmmm... well... no more money for you Skype. Not one cent ever again. Its computer to computer chats from now on, and I'll find a better VOIP provider.

  • Why is the Skype support so awesome?

    Why is the Skype support so d.amn good? This is even better than Steam support, wow. As we all know Steam support is the best there is! Here, instead of getting an automated answer I get absolutely no answers at all. Great!
    No really, Skype Team. You should think about having a real support. These kind of forums are the worst idea one can have. "Oh, a real support costs money. Let's just open something called community forums and let the people who have problems help each other! This will totally work and we have to do nothing at all, great!" Of course, this is great for you, not for the users, though.
    It's okay, as long as you really have people whose job it is to read every single post. You could also have a real support email with people who care, but that would probably too much work, right?
    I hate raging and I am very sorry that I had to write this in such a sarcastic manner, but that was the only appropriate reaction to this.

  • How do I email Skype support?

    Before you link me to the official page showing me how to, I tried that and the only options that were there was to talk to a live support person or to go to skype community. There was nowhere were I could send an email.
    So all I'm asking for is the E-mail itself or another way, because I don't want to chat with a live person for various reasons. Hopefully I don't get any automated responses linking me to the page.

    Skype does not use a single, central, or general e-mail address for its customer support functions.  All service requests are handled via a web form system, a customer support model which has been adopted by many websites. 
    Many Skype account, payment and billing, and technical support service requests are  administered (diagnosed and resolved) by Skype Customer Service agents via live chat instant message, another facility common to many websites.  If your enquiry matches or is similar to the parameters of the support options available as you progress through the various steps in the process, you will be directed to start an instant message chat session with an agent.
    If you insist upon sending your service request to Skype via the web form, which is the same as sending an e-mail to Skype in that you will receive a reply via your account's registered e-mail address, the only way to do so would be to outwit the system - which is what Community Ambassador Techfreak is advising:
    If you don't get the email support option, choose other options in the support form, even if unrelated [to the matter you seek to resolve via e-mail], to produce the option [to Send a message to Skype rather than to start an instant messat chat with an agent].

  • ONLINE number is TAKEN - WHERE'S SKYPE support?

    I paid 1 year subscription for a number that someone else is using. I set up my voicemail and it still rings at someone else's number. However, when I place a call that caller ID shows-up, but it does not help because IT DOES NOT WORK AS MY ONLINE NUMBER!
    I'd be happy to change the number, I just need some number to work ASAP! 
    No one has offered a solution or help so far. This forum is more like blind leading the blind and I can't reach anyone at SKYPE support. Seems like going premium is the only way to get support - but if I can't reach anyone at SKYPE now - I can only guess how easy it will be to cancel the recurring monthly premium subscription!  How do I contact support or account so I could at least concel and get my $60 returned if they can't fix this?     you need to go into your account, cancel your existing Online Number and then purchase another
    the fact that the existing number has apparently already been allocated to someone else, perhaps not even a Skype user, is NOT uncommon in the industry, so I wouldn't come down too hard on Skype
    note that canceling a Skype service normally just means NOT RENEWING IT, so to get the necessary refund you will need to contact Customer Support after you cancel, and provide the necessary details

  • How to deal with skype support when they don't del...

    Hello
    Its been about 2 months now since I lost all of my contacts on skype, around 120. I contacted skype and was told by the person that he had restored my contacts and I was just to wait 72 hours. I waited the time and checked, still nothing, I waited a week, still no contacts, so I contacted skype support a second time and I soon transferred to someone who was supposed to know more about those kinds of problems, but she told me she escalated the problem and a couple of days later I got a mail saying that skype was working on the problem. But that is 3 weeks ago. I use skype every day so you can imagine the problem this causes, since I don't keep 120 skype id's in my head at all times. Should I contact skype support again regarding this issue or should I accept the fact that they messed up bad and abandon skype all together?
    JESUS, i even had to create a whole new account even after logging in to post this, thanks skype.

  • IOS Iphone Syncing problem - UPDATE direct from Skype Support

    I've been having problem getting messages on my iphone for a week now. No group messages, no notifications, and I cannot receive groups calls or messages. I have the latest version of iOS and reinstalled and reset my phone severals times. I contacted Skype support and found out they are doing a SILENT update, and that we can experience problems on this for the next several weeks, and there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO. I requested they post an update to keep users informed so they don't spend a bunch of time debgging, but guess what, they won't. So hpefully see this post before you spend 3 hours trying to figure out the problem. Please give a kudos if this helps, so that others will see too. REPLY if you're having the same problem. Thanks!!

    i'm having problems since 2015-07-31 on my iphone4 (7.1.2) - it syncs msgs only if the other party is online at the same time. all offline msgs are ignored without error or something.
    but strange as it is it still works without issues on my iphone6 (8.4)... both devices run skype 5.14.0.46

    I have been using iTunes for a number of years and I have never had any problems installing it.
    Now I am trying to install the latest version of iTunes on a Windows 7 64bit version and I have a problem.

    I thank you for your post, but after following the guide I am still not able to install iTunes successfully
    Empty your Temp directory and restart- Done
    Completely remove iTunes and related components- Done
    Install the latest version of iTunes- Done (unsuccessful)
    Make sure you have administrator account access- I am using admin account
    Make sure your folder names don't contain strange characters- tried from desktop
    Do you have any other suggestions please?
