    Hi Xperts,
is there any possibility in the Web Interface Builder to eliminate the option to save after a function was ended with an error-message?
    Appreciate any help.

The Firefox 4+ versions automatically save your session when you close Firefox. If you want to restore your previous session the next time you open Firefox, use the Restore Previous Session button on the default about:home homepage or in the History menu.

    Hi Ken,
Wow, I've logged into adobe and never seen your response until now.
I need to make the forums more of a daily stop I guess.
Thank you for your response, When I go to the Archives, it states I have none. In addition, previously when I'd tried to move items to the archive, they just disappeared
Currently my desktop is not connecting at all, Everytime I connect, it's states "We have now logged you out" and requests I login again.
    I have of course rebooted,
Gone into taskmanager, killed all the relevant threads,  tried again to login through the desktop, no luck, I'll have to uninstall it, make sure the threads are killed, then reboot it and then reinstall it, but I've not had the time to do that.
On another note, and just as a point of reference, myself, personally, I hate these "cloud" file repositories (not to be confused with adobe cloud services which I love) but the file repositories themselves imho, are a blackhole of resource usage when one doesn't/isn't using them,
Is there a way we can use it more of a "ftp" sort of thing, when I want to I can  put files there?  There is no way to "Download" the repository, no way to download the folders.. only individual files and then it takes I think three different steps before the download starts.. I find this very inhibiting.  Just an fyi. for what it's worth.
Please, feel free to contact me,

  • KM Access via URL aborts with HTTP Error 403

    Dear experts,
i am currently working on the following problem:
    - we want to use 'KM Deep Links' to documents (open documents via URL Access)
    - when people are authenticated they can use this deep links (no problem in this case)
    - when they are not authenticated -> HTTP Error 403 is displayed
-> we want a login form to be displayed and after successful authentication the document is displayed
    - example:
         http://localhost:50000/irj/go/km/docs/documents//SAP%20Portal%20Documents/Members%20Area/Contracts%20_%20Guidelines/example.pdf
    This is our scenario:
    - Our Portal is a SAP Nw 7.0 with SP20
    - We run an External Facing Portal and therefore we have applied SAP Note 837898 (Standard Configuration in current SPS)
-> URL Access to Documents to which Anonymous Users have access works fine
    - as a test we used the 'old Content Acess Path' mentioned in SAP Note 837898, which looks like this:
         http://localhost:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/documents//SAP%20Portal%20Documents/Members%20Area/Contracts%20_%20Guidelines/example.pdf
           - this access works as desired. Login Form is prompted and after authentication, the document is displayed. Problem here  is that this Content Access Path doesn't work with Anonymous Access to KM.
So the goal is: Display Login form instead of this Error 403 Page. What configuration mistakes could we have done?
    With best regards,
    Marcus

  • UCCE 8.5(2) web setup tool issue - HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found

    Folks,
I have installed UCCE 8.0(1a) along with 8.5(2) MR twice in a row. I dont receive any errors during my installation, the second time around I had all my prerequisites including OS patches, Visual Studio, SQL 2005 SP4 patching and everything written down from the first go around and was able to complete the install with zero errors.
But once I complete the install and click on the Web Setup Tool I get a
I am not sure what I am doing wrong, Apache is running, this is for my lab system and we just got our Production system installed a few months and I compared all my version with the Production system at work and they all look the same, only difference is that this is going to be a sprawler. But I havent even gotten to that part yet.
I have attached images of the specs my Lab Server , any help is greatly appreciated, I am stumped at this point ..
    Hardware Specs and OS
    Installed Programs

Folks, apologize for not following up on the responses, works gotten busy again. Anyways .. the requirement is described in the "Staging Guide for Cisco Unified ICM/Contact Center Enterprise & Hosted Release 8.x(y)" on Page 104.
It states " Do not install Internet Information Services unless the server will host WebView or UnifiedICM multichannel options."
One thing to note is that in Version 8.5 - Web View is no longer supported, which means - Do NOT Install IIS on your AW's HDS, DDS, Router or Logger or Rogger Servers since these use the Web Setup tool for installation and configuration.
I would say dont install IIS on any of your ICM servers period !
After some poking around and research I found out that Web Setup uses Apache Tomcat and the Web Setup does not like it when you have IIS running or installed on the same box.
I fixed mine in my lab with Fresh install of the OS (from scratch). For those who cannot afford a fresh install and have this issue on a Production Box, Uninstalling IIS does not seem to fix the problem. Prior to my Fresh Install I tried Uninstalling it and it did not work.
While I have not tried this trick out, I found out that having IIS and Apache creates some sort of conflict for port 80/ 443 on the server which results in these 40X errors that you see. Unfortunately Uninstalling IIS didnt seem to fix it in case. What I did find out is that there is some way of resolving the conflict and one way is to change the default port used by IIS (changing it from 80/443 to something else).
I have not tried this out, But I have heard that this might work. Also to note - based on my uninstall of IIS which did not fix the problem, changes are that Apache Tomcat may need some tweaking as well.
My guess is the default port used by IIS and Apache need to be worked on to resolve this issue on a production box. IF you can scarp the box and rebuild, then just dont install IIS and you should be fine.

  • RAID 1 setup fails with POSIX error

I am trying to set up a RAID 1 array using 2 brand-new Iomega eGo 2TB Desktop Hard Drives.  They are connected via Firewire 800, with the second connected to the first through Firewire pass-through.  I'm on 10.6.8, on an iMac 9,1 with the 2.66Ghz Core 2 duo and 8GB RAM.
I complete all the steps to create the RAID array, add the drives to the array, select "Automatically rebuild RAID mirror sets", and when I hit "create", Disk Utility unmounts the disk, starts to create the array, and then gives me the following error.
Creating RAID set failed with the error:
POSIX reports:  The operation couldn't be completed.  Operation not permitted.
Am I doing something wrong in the setup?  Does this mean one of the drives is a dud?  Does this mean I can't create a RAID array with pass-through Firewire drives?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I ran the 1.1.1 upgrade this afternoon. I've been through the same process three times, but I was getting error 1602. Now when I unplug, reboot the Mac and reboot the phone, wait for everything to load, iPhoto recognizes the camera/pictures, but iTunes does not recognize the iPhone, and when it does, I get the spinning color wheel until I'm told that my iPhone timed out (or I get the error message above again). I've not hacked the iPhone, and even though iTunes isn't recognizing it, the phone is as fully functional as it was before the ill fated upgrade.
There is a support article but it appears to be geared towards Windows.
Error 1601 or 1602 when restoring iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes
    Issue
When trying to restore your iPhone in iTunes, you may see the following message followed by an error code 1601 or 1602:
The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred.
Or when trying to restore your iPod touch in iTunes, you may see the following message:
The iPod "[username]" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1602)
    Products affected
    iPhone
    iPod touch
    iTunes 7.4 or later
    Solution
Restart the computer and try to restore the iPhone or iPod touch again.
Completely remove iTunes and Apple Mobile Device support and then reinstall iTunes. Select the appropriate link below for instructions on how to accomplish this for your operating system.
    Windows XP
    Windows Vista
Try restoring the iPhone or iPod touch on a different computer using iTunes (if another computer is available).

Did you set up any printer on the node where CM is installed? You need to have at least one printer defined, and remember to bounce the CM after adding the new printer.

Processing the soap call in the test programm ends in a system exception (cx_ai_system_fault)  with the message:
"General Error Es ist ein Fehler bei der Proxy-Verarbeitung aufgetreten (  PART UNKNOWN (NULL)    )"
It seems as if there is no response or a response in a wrong format given by the webservice.
We had a look at the ICF-Trace.
The request seems to be a proper soap-call.
But the response is not in XML-format and therefore could not be completely displayed.
    it says:

    Could anybody help ?

    Hello Mathias,
in our case the problem was, that the WDSL used parameters, which were not correcty interpreted by the SAP-Routine that creates the proxy.
We changed the WDSL using only paramters covert by SAP.
Here ist the WSDL that worked fine:

  • Page customization ends with HTTP 500 on APEX 4.0, 3.2 & 3.0

    Hello,
I'm very pleased how well APEX Listener works with our existing applications (100s of pages). So far we've found only one issue we can't work around:
The problem occurs when user is trying to save page customization when using APEX Listener.
    Steps to replicate:
    1) Create an APEX page with region and set "Customization" to "Customizable and Shown By Default"
    2) Run the page & click on "Customize" link
    3) The customization pop-up is presented
    4) Click on "Apply changes"
    5) Error: HTTP Status 500 - System Unavailable. Please try again later.
The Apache Tomcat stdout log is attached bellow.
When we use Oracle HTTP server (running on the same database) no error occurs.
Configurations (3 environments with the same results):
    * APEX Listener 0.10.110.10.57
    * Apache Tomcat 6.0.26 (Windows)
    * APEX 3.0.1 & Database 11g Release 1 (Windows)
    * APEX 3.2.1 & Database 11g Release 2 (Linux & Windows)
    * APEX 4.0.0 & Database 11g Release 2 (Windows)
    Thanks for any ideas,
    Jan

The installation of Oracle Database 10g was successful.
WARNING: Do you really want to exit?
    INFO: User Selected: Yes/OK

I agree with others and unless you have specific Error messages (the log has only Warnings) then the installation was completed - the 'success' message at the end of the log is also a key indicator that everything was OK.
If you installed a starter database, check that it is there and running - it looks as though you are on unix, so check that the pmon process is running: ps -ef |grep pmon
If the database has created OK and you can log into it, good chances are the installation is fine.
    cheers,
    J

I have tried also all of the recommendations given in the regular support - updated all the softwares, made numerous restarts, changes USB ports.
Anybody else knows how to get out of this?

    Thanks

    Hi Basis,
This is fine.I request you to please read below very carefully, hopefully you'll get solution from this
timeoutPend: no route received within 5s (CONNECTED)
You are connected but not does not send route quickly. Here your TCP/IP connection setup was successful.
    Route sent too late
The connection setup (connect) was successful but the client sends the route to the SAProuter too late, or the client assumes that it is already connected to the server and is waiting for data, or the timeout -W is exceeded.
The log file contains the following entries:
    Thu Jun 14 12:27:27 2007 CONNECT FROM C11/- host 10.66.66.90/35087 (host1.company.corp)
Thu Jun 14 12:27:32 2007 CONNECT ERR C11/- no route received within 5s
    Thu Jun 14 12:27:32 2007 DISCONNECT C11/- host 10.66.66.90/35087 (host1.company.corp)
The client issues the error message below.
    Syntax
    SAProuter Error Message
    *********************************************************************** * LOCATION SAProuter 39.1 (SP3) on 'host1' * ERROR connection timed out * * TIME Thu Jun 14 12:27:32 2007 * RELEASE 710 * COMPONENT NI (network interface) * VERSION 39 * RC -5 * MODULE nirout.cpp * LINE 6519 * DETAIL RTPENDLIST::timeoutPend: no route received within 5s * (CONNECTED) * COUNTER 5 ***********************************************************************
    Background and Further Analysis
This error can occur if the client does not send the route quickly enough after the TCP/IP connect to the SAProuter. This might be caused by the client hanging temporarily.
Please follow Other Errors - SAProuter - SAP Library
TCP/IP connect takes too long (longer than the timeout -W value)
The log file contains the following entries:
    Thu Jun 14 13:22:01 2007 CONNECT FROM C10/- host 10.66.66.90/41060 (host2.company.corp)
    Thu Jun 14 13:22:01 2007 CONNECT TO S10/18 host 1.1.1.1/3299 (1.1.1.1)
Thu Jun 14 13:22:06 2007 CONNECT ERR S10/18 could not establish connection within 5s
    Thu Jun 14 13:22:06 2007 DISCONNECT S10/18 host 1.1.1.1/3299 (1.1.1.1)
The client issues the error message below.
    Syntax
    SAProuter Error Message
    *********************************************************************** * LOCATION SAProuter 39.1 (SP3) on 'ld8060' * ERROR connection to 1.1.1.1:3299 timed out * * TIME Thu Jun 14 13:22:06 2007 * RELEASE 710 * COMPONENT NI (network interface) * VERSION 39 * RC -5 * MODULE nirout.cpp * LINE 6548 * DETAIL RTPENDLIST::timeoutPend: could not establish connection within * 5s (ROUTED) * COUNTER 6 ***********************************************************************
    Background and Further Analysis
In this example, the TCP/IP connection from the SAProuter to the next node (the next SAProuter, a system, or another network component) could not be established within a specified timeout period. This error can occur if the server host is down or the IP address of the host cannot be reached.
It can also be due to the network failing to establish the TCP/IP connection within 5 seconds (the timeout value defined in option -W). You might be able to solve this problem by using a greater value for option -W.

    Hi Experts,
the process chain got failed and it is showing the error as error 38.when we are doing the analysis the error itself coming in the extractin level and it is showing as errors in the source system and not more than that. Please gimme some solution how to solve it.

    Hello,
This is the object not found error for /SAPAPO/OM_PEGAREA
These error codes are generated if you try to access or manipulate an
object that cannot be found in the live cache (any more).
Normally this means that there is no object with the key (GUID) provided
    by the ABAP.
Please execute the transaction /SAPAPO/OM17 inorder to resolve the
    inconsistencies regarding missing pegkeys.
    Best Regards
    Barry
