SMImage plugin -- Any succes in integrating with ADDT?

Before I plop down 100 euros for a wysiwyg text/image editor, I thought I ask if any ADDT users had had any success in integrating this plugin... Especially as regards ease of use in the Admin panel...

Hi Paul,
Before I plop down 100 euros
100 euros would be the developer license, whereas the private license is 15 euros only. If you later decide to upgrade SMImage to the developer license, the upgrade fee is 85 euros (all info from the developer´s website: http://synasys.de/index.php?id=7)
thought I ask if any ADDT users had had any success in integrating this plugin
me of course :-)
Especially as regards ease of use in the Admin panel
ADDT´s Admin Panel you mean ?
Cheers,
Günter Schenk

  • Does cq5 provide integration with adobe dreamweaver

    Hi Everyone,
I would like to know if CQ5 provides any kind of integration with Dreamweaver so that all the content that is created by web-dev team using dreamweaver can directly be imported in Cq5.
Also does cq5 provides and dreamweaver kind of capability, so that web-dev team can develop their content in cq5 itself and would not use dreamweaver.
    Thanks

  • Any PIP available for Product Data Hub(PIM) integration with AppsR12

    Dear All,
We can a requirement to one of our customer, we need to implement MDM(CDH,PIM) and we need to integrate this with other spoke systems like EBS.
we want to know whether is there any PIP available for MDM(PDH or PIM) integration with Oracle Apps R12 with any other system and our SOA environment is SOA 11g.
    Thansk in Advance

    Hi Shamshad
We also need to know AIA 3.1 MDM (PDH) PIP's were released for 11g FMW. AIA 2.5 MDM PIP's uses 10g AS (SOA 10g).
Edelivery doesn't have MDM PIPS listed for AIA 3.1 or under AIA 11g. It has foundation pack but not specific to MDM PIP for Product that I'm looking for.
    Any help appreciate it.

  • Any idea on Integrating mentioned application with OIM 11g :Need Help

    Hi,
I wanted to integrated below target application to OIM11g. (to manage user life cycle, we also have role management(OIA))
The 7 applications have their own repository, e.g SIPORT uses oracle database tables, PBX uses ms-sql, Lync is AD and other uses file. Employees will need to be provisioned into these application repositories via OIM connectors to provide them with access.
    Any approach/help/question would be appreciated.

We are trying to achieve "single sign-on" to windows workstation and then to oracle database in the following way:
    - user logs in to his WinXP workstation through Active Directory
    - user connects to Oracle 10.2 database (SQL*Plus as " conn / ") without having to type his database password and the user is authenticated by Oracle Internet Directory (user is created in the database as identified globally)
Can we achieve this if AD is integrated with OID and the user's password is the same in both directories?
OID is configured for "password authentication", not for SSL/Kerberos.
    Thanks!

  • Any kind of integration experience with Weblogic JMS and Oracle AQ?

    Hi,
In my company I work with java developers who believe in some kind of "holly" database independence I don't understand and as a result my life as a database developer is hell on earth.. Yesterday we again started to discuss, this time where to log, they believe database is slow and prefer logging to filesystem, after some hours finally I could convince them for some operational and reporting needs to use the database and will do this in an asyncronous way whiich they won't get slow. After all I believe the reason for a database is data, this is the place where data lives, and with the correct desing and implementation logging to database would perform better.
I love Oracle features, and know that we paid a lot for this software, so today I started investigating this promised solution. And quickly I found AQ and JMS topics in the documentation :)
After this introduction here is my problem; my company use BEA Weblogic as application server and the java guys want AQ to automatically (but of course with some delay) take their JMS log requests into database tables. Does any one have similar application experience, or any kind of integration experience with Weblogic JMS and Oracle AQ?
Any comments, references, documentation, sample code, url will be most welcomed :)
    Thank you very much!

I wouldn't go as far to say Oracle AQ is out-dated today. However, it is indeed a proprietary technology that did not found much main-stream adoption in the earlier years after its introduction. The advent of JMS made it somewhat more useful (or should I say intriguing, because more people are trying to tie it together with other J2EE technologies), but the Oracle's JMS wrapper classes in aqapi.jar were not feature complete for a long while, so using it outside Oracle's application server was painful, if not impossible. I do agree that the info at the dev2dev's JMS newsgroup or in this forum is highly fragmented, as neither Oracle nor BEA provides an official solution to integrate AQ with WebLogic, so people like us have to learn the technology through experimentation and in a piecemeal fashion.
3 years ago I was literally "playing around" - we had a polling mechanism set up to use triggers to write Oracle data changes into an event table, and had a Java-based daemon to scan that table and publish events as JMS messages to the WebLogic JMS server. This continues to work reliably till today, but I was looking for a solution that has few parts - I wanted to hook up my WebLogic MDB directly to AQ as a foreign JMS provider. Although I was able to get it to work (including XA), there were a few hoops I had to jump through, such as decompiling the Oracle AQjms classes to make them bind to the WebLogic JNDI tree.
One year after that Diptanshu Parui took what I did a giant step further - he extended the Oracle AQjms classes to allow them to be bound to the WebLogic JNDI tree naturally, and he figured out how to use WebLogic JMS messging bridge to re-send single-threaded AQ JMS messages to clustered JMS queues, which allow concurrent message assumption by multiple instances of MDB's. My impression is that he is using that setup in a production environment.
I am sure you are aware of it but I would like to make it clear - in order to use AQ as a foreign JMS provider to WebLogic-hosted MDB's, you don't need to update your database to Oracle 10g - Oracle 8i is good enough (although I recommend at least 9i Release 2). It is not the database engine, but rather the aqapi.jar JMS wrapper on top of AQ that matters. I do recommend that you use aqapi.jar from Oracle Application Server 10.0.3 or up for better XA support, among other things. Again, you don't have to replace WebLogic with Oracle AS - you only need a single jar file from it and put it in your WebLogic's classpath. However, I don't know what this means from a licensing point of view if you ever go to production - do you have to pay the full price of OracleAS or OC4J just to use the aqapi.jar?
In the coming days I will test the latest aqapi.jar to see how much progress Oracle has made in terms of making their J2EE products more spec-compliant :-).
Hope the above gives you a different perspective.

  • Any Chance of Integrating MI with MDM/ XI/ BI

    Hi All,
I would love to know any information on integrating MI with MDM/BI/XI or vice versa.
According to me using XI in MI is a restriction.
Any updates from SAP regarding the same (May be in Newyork release).
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    Karthick

    Hello Mainak,
Here are the benefits which I got from below link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b2/e50138fede083de10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm
The integration of SAP XI and SAP BW offers the following advantages:
    ·        Central maintenance of message flow between logical systems of your system landscape.
    ·        Options for transformation of message content between sender and recipient
Mappings help you to adapt values and structures of your message to the recipient. In this way, you can transfer different types of files to a SAP BW system using interface mapping. However, in any case, it is necessary to transform the data into a format that corresponds to the interface of the function module that is generated in SAP BW and used for data transfer. The function module contains a table parameter with a flat structure. This means that the data have to be transformed so that they fit to a flat structure in SAP BW.
    ·        Using proxy communication with SAP BW
Proxies are executable interfaces generated in the application systems for communication with the SAP XI Integration Server. We recommend the use of proxies for communication with SAP BW because they guarantee Full Quality of Service (Exactly Once in Order). They also guarantee that the data is delivered only once and in the correct sequence. The SAP XI Integration Server keeps the serialization as it was established by the sender.
    cheers,
    Vishvesh

  • Does Oracle iStore 11i support integration with any analytics tool ?

    Hi
We are planning to implement analytics with Oracle iStore 11i . However it seems like there is an integration possible with Oracle web analytics in R12. and there seems no such facility in 11i. Or is there one?
Also is there there any means available in Oracle iStore 11i to integrate with external Analytics tools like Google Analytics.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards
    Srinivas

    Hello Srinivas,
iStore introduces integration with Web Analytics in Release 12. There is no integration in Release 11i.
We have no documented way for integration with the Google Analytics.
Note that iStore allows users the flexibility to modify the jsp's to meet your business needs. Therefore, you could modifiy to enable tracking by Google Analytics.
We do not have any seeded integration.
Please advise on any additional questions.
    Thank you,

  • [bug?] playback issues with QT browser plugin, any workarounds?

I've noticed a playback issue with media files using the quicktime plugin (currently v7.1.3) with Firefox 1.5.0.x and now Firefox 2.0 on Windows XP (SP2):
    Description:
When I open a media file in a separate tab or window, audio playback cuts out when I switch focus away from the tab or window (i.e. when it runs in the background). When I put the tab/window in the foreground again, playing resumes.
    Reproducible: Always
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Open an mp3 file with quicktime plugin in a new tab
    2. Switch focus to some other tab or firefox window
    Expected Results:
Audio playback should continue in the background.
    Actual Results:
Audio playback cuts out and resumes once you click on the tab containing the plugin or if you hover over it with the cursor. The cutting and resuming out doesn't happen right away but after a short delay, suggesting that it might have something to do with thread prioritization.
The file is completely buffered by quicktime, this is not about connection speed or bandwidth issues.
Opening the link to the same file with right-click->Open Link in External Application works well.
Someone else has filed a bug report against Firefox about this issue here:
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339449
I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out not to be an issue with Gecko but with QuickTime.
Can other users confirm this on XP? Is this a known QuickTime bug? Are there fixes or workarounds?
    Windows XP

Yeah I had that thought as well but no joy. It works for the player but it doesn't solve my plugin problem. It really seems to be something about prioritizing, the way the audio cuts in and out - notice how it takes a few fractions of a second before a process loses its CPU cycles when you click away from it? You can observe this with System Monitor on the Mac or Linux or process explorer on XP. That's how the audio is cutting out and back in. I still think it's probably a bug/'feature' either with Gecko, the Firefox browser engine, or with the QT plugin..

  • Is there any documentation on integrating iDSAME with iPlanet Portal Server?

There is no official documentation. The full fleged integration with IDSAME would happen in the next release of portal.
The current integration is more of a proof of concept and is only for authentication and this has not been made public or neither is it supported.

  • Facing issue when LDAPSync is enabled for OIM-AD integration with SSL enabled

    Hi
We are performing LDAPSync for OIM AD real time sync.We have done all configuration as per oracle documentation on LDAPSync for OIM 11gR2 : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/integration.1112/e27123/oid_oim.htm The OIM environment we tested is the latest OIM version OIM 11gR2 PS1 (11.1.2.1.0).
WE have performed LDAPSync enablement on postinstallation of OIM .So we dont have OVD , we have configured libOVD as mentioned in this doc.
We have performed following  steps mentioned in this document  in our OIM environment.
3.1 Enabling Post installation LDAP Synchronization
3.3 Creating Identity Virtualization Library (libOVD) Adapters and Integrating With Oracle Identity Manager
As attribute like password  might be not getting updated in AD from OIM , we have configured SSL enabled integration in LDAP sync as mentioned in above document.
We implemented this step  3.4.1 Enabling SSL Between Identity Virtualization Library (libOVD) and Microsoft Active Directory,
but here it is not properly mentioned that about how to import public key certificate of AD into OIM envirioment for SSL.
We are getting following error message in logs : Looking at logs it looks like the import of AD SSL certificate did not happen properly in OIM environment. But ,we have imported it using keytool and OVD keystore ...please let us know if we are missing any configuration in this process.Above oracle document is not pretty clear on this.

Use the steps given below to perform import public key certificate of AD into OIM envirioment for SSL
Obtain the AD Certificates from the AD Administrator.
Copy the AD Certificates to the directory /jrockit-jdk1.6.0_20/jre/lib/security
Run the following command to import all the certificates
/jrockit-jdk1.6.0_20/bin/keytool -import -alias <provide_alias> -file <file-name> -keystorecacerts -storepasschangeit
      4. The CA certificates are now present in the trust store.

  • External Tool Integration with the xMII Workbench 12.x

Is there any form of external tool integration, or API that supports building one (think something like a Eclipse plugin) ?
The editor for non-transaction based work (such as HTML, XSLT, etc.) should be considered unacceptable by all serious developers. Crashes, memory-leaks, lack of syntax-highlighting, etc.
While I'm aware that I can obviously code in another editor, and then copy&paste the code over every time I want to test something, this is a approach that's not only stupid and time-consuming, it's also very error phrone, and often causing loss of data.
A integration to Eclipse, either by a specialized API, or version-control integration with NDWI (if that even works, seems that nobody use it?), would make development much much less painful, and more efficient.
Even if this is completely impossible now, let this be a suggestion to the developers for much needed improvements, if this tool is to be taken serious by modern day developers. External version-control support is also a really big lack in the product. A home-made centralized VCS is hillariously inefficient. If the system had been build on standard-solutions such as SVN, atleast a Mercurial bridge could been done.

    Hi,
Like to add few points here :
    1) NWDI is available for source control and version management since MII 12.1 release. It is the standard and stable component across all NW Java solutions and can be easily configured and used with MII with no hassle (my own experience). You can refer the following configuration guides for NWDI setup and use:

    2) NWDS integration is not available in 12.2 release which is already at the end of ramp-up. I have heard from my friends in SAP MII product development that NWDS will be the de-facto editor for all SAP MII development in the future releases. The first phase of integration may come up in the immediate next release (12.3 or 13.0) which will get 100% completed in the release after that. I'll appreciate if anyone from the product development team can confirm this.
    3) Definitely the web editor in MII workbench currently is pathetic for serious web developers and not anything more than a notepad. I remember in the Lighthammer (11.0/11.5) days there was a MS Frontpage plugin available for MII. I think that's not available or usable anymore. But with NWDS integration I hope this will be looked into as well.
    4) WSDL interface of BLS though present from Lighthammer itself it was not matured and error-prone earlier. Since MII 12.1.4 it has been improved somewhat and now works fairly well.
    My two cents
