Dear All,
We are trying to port Windows CE 2013 on to Cortex A7 dual core processor (A20). While the OS is working fine in single CPU mode, when we enabled SMP, the system starts to hang. It may hang any time between 5 seconds to 100 seconds of booting up the
secondary CPU.
50% of the time it hangs when the main CPU0 sends an IPI (as SGI) and waits for the other CPU1 to respond. And it seems CPU1 is lost and it is not receiving the interrupt at all. Other times it just hangs. But no exceptions are thrown. My understanding
is that any one or both of the cores just got locked for some reasons.
Thanks and Regards,
SenthilAh yes, integrated L2 on A7, so SCTRL.C/I will disable it all (and even if no integration C/I disables it all).
I still think it will be both are waiting in MDSpin, but without a JTAG debugger there is simply no way of knowing. You will have to get one to get to the bottom of this one. I recommend getting the Power Debug II from Lauterbach, simply because of the excellent
support you get from the guys at Lauterbach.
Of course you should try with a fully updated WEC2013 installation, but I doubt this will solve your issue.
Good luck,
Michel Verhagen, eMVP

OModel Data and List BindItems message
I have an sap.m.List that I aggregate with data from an oModel. But I am coming back with this message that I see from SMP 2.3 logs because my List is empty; I've validated that the query is correct and does return data when I run this same query from Chrome.
The error message from SMP 2.3 logs:
The request URI is not valid. The segment 'ApplicationServiceSet' refers to an entity set and not to a single entity
When run through the browser this is the result:
<entry xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" xmlns:m="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices/metadata" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices"xml:base="http://MyService_SRV/">
<script id="tinyhippos-injected"/>
<id>
http://mydomain/MyService_SRV/ApplicationServiceSet(fld='0007',fld2='0007',fld3='65')
</id>
<title type="text">

</title>

<link href="ApplicationServiceSet(fld='0007',fld2='0007',fld3='65')" rel="self" title="applicationid"/>
<content type="application/xml">

<d:fld2>0007</d:fld2>
<d:fld3>My Loc</d:fld3>
</m:properties>
</content>
</entry>
My binding to my List is this:
.....var omodel = sap.ui.model.odata.ODataModel(serviceURL, false, username, pwd);
var oCore = sap.ui.getCore().setModel(omodel);
myList.bindItems({
path: /ApplicationServiceSet,
template: mytemplate,
filters: [f1, f2, f3]
I have this same setup on another application that uses this exact code but calling a different OData Model and that is working fine. The difference is that the model on the other application is a list of fld3, in this case is a list of materials base on location and date.
In this issue, the user searches specifically for material#, location and date so I expect only one result. I was thinking that the code should work I just need to change the sPath, field names are even the same. Only difference is that this List, though aggregated, should still work. However, I get the above message of "refers to an entity set and not a single entity"......
So not sure if there's a different way of implementing how a record is returned when it comes to using the API or if this is something on the BAPI end?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
JThanks Jamie. I do have my filters defined and for testing, I have hard coded the values. There's a few more info I should have added.
1. I have the same application using the same code for another service which works fine. Since the query is essentially the same, I just needed to change the URL to point to the right service and the correct sPath
2. We are going through SMP 2.3 to get to Gateway so the alias or the end point is: http://mydomain:port/com.my.applicationID
3. I used RESTcClient to test the end point directly to GW and it is fine. I don't think this is an SMP issue, but I'm not sure.
Thanks for the reply -

An irrecoverable stack overflow has occurred.Hi.
Another point, there are some smp issues in RH 7.1, which is why (reading the fine print on
our platforms page) we only support smp on RH 7.2. If possible you should upgrade to 7.2 if
you need to use an smp kernel.

From our support page (http://edocs.bea.com/wls/platforms/index.html#linux) it looks like
we support kernel 2.4.7-10smp, and you are running a beta kernel- 2.4.5-beta4va3.15smp.
If possible try updating your kernel to this version.

Issue while deploying Agentry application on local SMP server
Hello Experts,
I have deployed a customized SAPWM application on the SMP 2.3 server.
I am referring to the tutorial maintained at the following URL :http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-43353
After deployment, the status of the application is shown as "running_without_metadata".

When I connect this application from my iPad with my machine's IP and port as 7003, I get an error saying "Invalid password for User <username>".
When I debugged this application in the ECC, in the BAPI /SYCLO/CORE_SUSR_LOGIN_CHECK, I saw that the Password being sent to the ECC was blank, inspite of entering the password on the application. (have run it for another user in ECC in the below screenshot).
Is something missing in the agentry.INI or application configuration on the SCC which is causing this issue?
Any help will be appreciated.If you are getting "running_without_metadata" this means the Agentry server did not load any application on start up.
1) In your Agentry.ini in the [Configuration] section what is developmentServer set to?
2) Depending on the value is where the Agentry Server looks for the application logic in the following locations:
Set to" True"
C:\SAP\MobilePlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\Repository\Agentry\default\com.sap.agentry.wm53\Application\Development\
Set to false:
C:\SAP\MobilePlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\Repository\Agentry\default\com.sap.agentry.wm53\Application\Production
In the above folder does it contain your application logic?

Issue in exposing MySQL table as OData in SMP 3.0
Experts,
I have created OData entity to represent a table in mysql & deployed in SMP3.0. Also created a security profile with same name as Service Namespace given while deploying. Mysql connector jar is placed in SMP pickup folder. In gateway cockpit destination is created and assigned to the deployed service.
The service URL shows the proper result (lists the entity name), while trying to access the data from the entity (http://[Service URL]/[Entity name]) the response says "Unable to load com.mysql.jdbc.Driver".
Kindly help to fix this issue.
ThanksFenil doshi ; jian wu
I was able to do it SMP 3.0 SP03. Can you verify your steps once?
PS: It is always advisable to work on latest version. If you are planning to upgrade then nothing can be the best than this.

SAP EHS Safety Issue mobile app on SMP 3.0
Hi,
I'm on the process of installing and configuring the SAP EHS Safety Issue mobile app on SMP 3.0. However, the current Administrator guide hasn't been updated since SMP 2.3.
Has anyone attempted to install this app on SMP 3.0? Any idea how this should be configured? Should it use the SAP Management Console or the Gateway Management Cockpit?
Also, does anyone has previous experience working with this app? How can I test the OData services without going through SMP?
Kind regards,
OmarFor anyone interested, here's some details:
The HTTP method implemented by the service is: http://<SAPserver>:8000/sap/opu/odata/EHSMM01/LWM_SAFETY_OBSERVAT
When you configure the app, you need to set this up as your backend endpoint. You can also set this up as your HTTP authentication for your security profile.
You don't need to use the Gateway Management Cockpit. Just create an application with app ID:
com.sap.bsuite.erp.ehsm.safetyobserver
and use the above information for the backend and security profiles.
That's all! -
Hi All,
When I install the new SMP 3 SDK, I receive an error that the operating system is not supported.
It is a Win 7 Home Premium 64 - bit edition. It does not make sense because the PAM states that Win7 is supported. Is home premium not a part of it ?
Can someone help me with this please.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers
BHowever, I noticed that my installation zip has an executable for AMD processors only. Is there a different executable for Intel processors. Could that throw up an OS incompatibility error ? Or is it the processor compatibility ? It would have been so much better, if the error message was more descriptive.
SMP runtime and mobile sdk installer is coming with setupAMD64 for windows.
I tried to install mobile sdk at Windows 7 professional with Processor: Pentinum(R) Dual-Core CPU and it did work.
And it also worked at other machine with processor details: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20Ghz and Windows 7 professional
Stan Stadelman Can you please help here? Can't we install SMP on Windows 7 Home Premium?

I'm running SCCM 2012 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2. My SMP is co-located with my MP. I'm attempting to do an offline USMT capture, but keep getting the same error. My smsts.log file indicates that the first connection attempt to the SMP is using the computer
account which is obviously going to fail, but I have the option to use the NAA enabled in my TS. After receiving the error message "Unsuccessful in connecting to [SMP Share]. Invalid username or password.", it goes on to say "Trying to connect
to [SMP Share] using NAA." as it should, but then a few lines down I get "Failed to connect to [SMP Share] (1219)."
I have reset the password on my NAA, reconfirmed the account in the Accounts node in the console (and successfully connected to the share with the test connection function), removed my SMP and readded it. I'm at a loss. Thanks for the help!Well, that's interesting. I looked at the open sessions on the share (clicking refresh repeatedly) and see an ANONYMOUS LOGIN from the workstation which stays open for about 10 seconds or so. Is it possible that the anonymous login stays open so long that
the NAA fails to connect when it reverts to that account?
On another note, further down the smsts.log, I get "Request to SMP [SMP] failed with error (Code 0x80070057). Trying next SMP.". After doing to research, I think I may have another problem. I have a computer association created between the computer
in question and another computer. Since the old computer is not domain joined (WinPE), is it even possible for it to associate correctly? I just assumed the name didn't matter as the GUID would be the same. Thanks!
UPDATE: Answered the second part on my own. I confirmed that the GUID being sent to the SMP within WinPE is the same as the domain joined client. -
SMP 3.0 Android native create operation issue
Hellow,
I am creating a new entry in to my OData service in Android Native and SMP 3.0,
I am successfully reading data and displaying but can not create new entry in to my service where
the code as follows
private void postData() {
IODataEntry entry = new ODataEntry();
entry.putPropertyValue("BankCountry", "IND");
entry.putPropertyValue("BankKey", "00996");
entry.putPropertyValue("BankName", "UCUCUC");
entry.putPropertyValue("City", "acdc");
IRequest request = RequestBuilder.getInstance().buildPOSTRequest(this, "BankSet", entry, "$format=json");
mApplication.getRequestManager().makeRequest(request);
It throws Null at "mApplication.getRequestManager().makeRequest(request);"
Here mSchema is not null , Am I wrong while requesting the Server?? Please suggest me with a code snippet to solve it.

Smp 3.0 sp03 Offline Caching Issue in Android App
After I apply GET request for a URL in Android app, I use mergeEntries to update cache for entries but I realized that cache.mergeEntries method just updates server cache, not a local cache.
Also, cache.readEntriesLocal method just gives me entries that are added by cache.addEntry(entry)
Is there any way to fill up local cache with all server entries after GET request ?Hi Jitendra,
Thanks for your answer. However we are not using Kapsel in our Android app. We just try to develop native OData application that supports both online and offline mode. Thats why we follow these steps http://help.sap.com/saphelp_smp303sdk/helpdata/en/7c/0b0f9070061014a7b1c78f0f331130/content.htm?frameset=/en/7c/0af4ce70061014beb082150f67fcba/frameset.htm¤t_toc=/en/7c/01cda6700610149b10c2f2a86d335b/plain.htm&node_id=29
How can local cache be filled up with all server entries because cache.readEntriesLocal method just returns entries which are added to local cache. I mean local cache needs a method like mergeEntries to update local cache entries as well after GET operation.
Here you can see part of our code. While entries_server param has 11 entries, entries local has just 1 entry. We want to put all 11 entries in local cache too.
IODataFeed feed = parser.parseODataFeed(responseString, "ZmbSGroupSet('GRUP_1')/Members", schema);
cache.mergeEntries(feed, Global.getAppEndPoint() + "ZmbSGroupSet('GRUP_1')/Members");
Entries_server = cache.readEntriesServer(Global.getAppEndPoint() + "ZmbSGroupSet('GRUP_1')/Members");
Entries_local = cache.readEntriesLocal("ZmbSGroupSet('GRUP_1')/Members", null); -

Thanks for any help!I have a similar issue except with two ATI cards and four monitors.
I have a working xorg.conf that uses Xinerama and all 4 work but have been trying to get xrandr to work since xinerama is deprecated supposedly.
I would like to switch to xrandr but there is some kind of magic voodoo I have with my current xorg.conf that doesn't even work on an exact same machine and cards that I tried to setup for a co-worker.

My Xorg.0.log shows all the DVI connections when I don't use a xorg.conf file but only two are "connected"
I see DVI-0 and DVI-1 connected and in "xrandr -q" but in Xorg.0.log I see DVI-1-2 and DVI-1-3.
xrandr --listproviders show the two cards as well.
Tried "xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0" and they show up in KDE but as clones and then X crashes eventually.
"xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 0 1" just plain crashes X
