Generation of Alerts for errors in SMQ1 and SMQ2

Dear Experts,
When messages get stuck in queue (SMQ1 / SMQ2) due to some error, we donu2019t get any alert notification (E Mail) from system. Normally we get below mentioned errors in SMQ1 or SMQ2.
1. Permanent error in BPE processing.
2. Error while accessing table.
Can you please suggest how do we generate alert notifications for the above errors in SMQ1 and SMQ2.

If u have CCMS configured for your landscape, then it could be possible. Else its not possible in my opinion.

How to monitor SMQ1 and SMQ2

is there any standard way to monitor SMQ1 and SMQ2, like i would like to know any std way to trigger email alert if the queue goes beyond 500 in number.

SMQ1 and SMQ2 queues stuck

Hi All,
We are using ISU and CRM system for Retail business, Always work flows and lot of business transactions will perform in those systems and replications will happen in both systems.
Due to this reason lot of entries are present in SMQ1, SMQ2 and SM58 will present. We are continuously monitoring though some times some entries are are found in sysfail status. due to this lot of entries are piled up and queues becomes very high amount.
As a work around, If we unlock the queue ( sysfail entry ) two to three times the entry will go and the remaining entries will start move.
Currently our requirement is can we do this kind of this as automated ? I mean as per conditions it will unlock the queues automatically ?
Please suggest me in this case.

Thanks for your reply. I had gone through the mentioned notes and say about it is not recommended to use regular basis. Here our requirement is need to check the sysfail entries in the queue. Need to unlock the queue twice or thrice to re-process the entry. If any data issue our CRM middle ware team can handle.
The major purpose is to unlock the queue entries which can re-process automatically without manual correction.
I like to proceed with Deepanshu suggestion to check with ABAPer. before that I need to check with our CRM middle ware team to get the list of error which can process through unlocking the queue.

Queues stuck in SMQ1 and SMQ2

Hi,
In CRM Middleware, I am trying to do some Master Data upload of Sales Orders from CRM to R/3 but a queue MCEX11 gets stuck on the R/3 side with 1 entry and status NOSEND
Can you please tellme how to get rid of this? Also how can i avoid distribution locks on a document.
On the CRM side also certain queues were stuck in the outbound SMQ1 with status NOSEND. How to process these queues manually?
I checked note 431345 and other related notes also. Would appreciate if someone can help me on this.

Hi Priyanka,
To clear the no send status entry, go to R3AS, select the object say for BP (Bupa_main) press enter and then execute, then open R3AM1 enter object name as Bupa_main and select Running and done and execute.
Now you can open SMQ2 and click on each entry with nosend status and then click on activate queue in the top toolbar, this shld change the status to running and then click on refresh.
The following is the list of Queue extensions that are used in CRM, all the queues start with these extensions:

CDB*     Start queues for loads CRM -> CDB
CRM_SITE*     Load queues for Mobile Clients
CSA*     Send queues of CRM Server Applications
EXT*     Start queues for loads CRM -> Ext.

Not getting entries in SMQ1 and SMQ2

Entries in SMQ1 and RSA7

hi,
I have few delta queues running very fine in system.But I am bit
confused about tcodes smq1 and rsa7.If i am not wrong after running all jobs
( i.e. fetching data into BW ) entries in quesue must show 0.But it is not happening.
When will they become 0 or they never show as zero.

HI,
If it is production system before upgrade get an outage of about 20 to 30 min and run Collective run jobs and move the delta queues from LBWQ to RSA7 and then to BI. As you are pulling the deltas during outage no posting will be there and you can leave the system for basis for outage.
It is mandatory to clean up the queues before giving the system for upgrade as during upgarde there may be possibility of queues being corrupted saying change in structures and it may raise issues during upgrade open queues are available.
Hence clean up the queue during outage ie lock all users for posting and do the activities.

System refresh - SMQ1 and RSA7

Could someone please explain what I should do with SMQ1 and RSA7 after a system copy?
I assume I would delete all queues which are pointing to old sid.?

RSA7: In R3 it's show the delta queues for all data sources in the same source system.
For like Data sources in R/3 will have their delta queues in R/3 and hence these will be displayed in RSA7 in R/3.
The main purpose to use RSA7 is to maintain the BW delta queue, it will generally show the status and the data source having the delta mode active .
You have to first check the data source in the delta mode which are not getting populated in the RSA7 t-code .

Difference between SMQ1 and RSA7 in CRM system?

We all know that in R3 systems and for LO Cookpit applications, SMQ1 can display outbound queue which usually contains the updated records on R3 systems for LO Cookpit application data and then after scheduled V3 job, these updated records on R3 systems can be moved from the outbound queue (SMQ1) to Delta queue (RSA7) and wait for BW Delta extraction.
However in CRM systems, there should be no such scheduled V3 job, does that mean SMQ1 = RSA7 in CRM systems, or in other words, both T-Codes or the Outbound queue (SMQ1) and the Delta queue (RSA7) show the same updated records and wait for BW extraction?
Anyone's answer is greatly appreciated!

RSA7 will hold the delta records nothing but delta queue.But in SMQ1 is used to delete the entries(data) in the delta Queue.

Different Version PI 7.0 and SPROXY

Hi Experts,
I am doing ABAP Server Proxy scenarios and I am facing a very different issue in the look and feel of the UI.
My current PI version is PI 7.0 EHP1.0 SP4 in which my icon in interface objects appear as MESSAGE INTERFACE.
Now when after configuring settings in the ECC 6.0 , when I go to SPROXY to create proxy I find my Message Interface appearing as "SERVICE INTERFACE" in Sproxy. Interestingly the message from the XI is successfully reaching the ECC 6.0 ,
as I can also view my message in SXMB_MONI of ECC6.0 where the messages are in green flag status as a result of which my values from the structure are not getting updated in the table where I intend to do.
Now I have a doubt that weather this Message Interface in PI and the Service Interface in ECC 6.0 might be the reason for this
failure of the execution of the proxy class generated.
When I try to independently checking the code then the values are getting populated in the Table where I intend to do.

it is normal to have message interface in PI 7.0 and the same being described as service interface in ecc 6.0. so dont worry about it
in sxmb_moni of ecc, check the green flag.
what does the description say?
also check smq1 and smq2 in ecc.

Reg: Confusion in SMQ1 in XI-BW

Hi Gurus,
I am doing File to BW scenario. Most of the times file is picking and reaching succesfully to BW but some times file is picking in XI and not reaching in BW even it was showing in SXMB_MONI
But issue and my question is I found nearly 18 messages in BW system SMQ1 that measn whether theya re waiting for comming into BW system form XI or else they are waiting in queue for going out from BW system to some other
But I found those messages are same as what I found in SMQ2 in XI system
But another thing is I also found same number messages 18 in BW TCode: RSA7 (TCode is useful once XI is succesfully rsent by XI and to check that partiuclar files are came into BW oer not?)
PLease let me know the difference in SmQ1 and SMq2 in XI server and versus SMQ1 aand SMQ2 in BW system whether smq2 in bw means theya re waiting to come or else they already reached in BW system from XI?

Hi Amar,
SMQ1 is the queue monitor for outbound messages(in the system in which you are checking)
SMQ2 is the queue monitor for inbound messages(in the system in which you are checking).
that is the reason, your SMQ1 in BW is similar to the SMQ2 in your XI.

Material master in Catalog and R/3 but not in EBP, possible?

Old setup:
- Requisite catalog with R/3 material master
- EBP 3.0 with product master (R/3 material master) and no vendor master
- R/3 with material master
New situation:
R/3 development has been upgraded to ECC 6.0. Requiste catalog stays the same. We are re-implementing EBP 5.5 where I am trying for at setup without material master in EBP 5.5 but when I transfer shopping cart from catalog to EBP I get the error message box u201D Business partner with GUID ### does not existu201D where ### is the vendor id (NEW_ITEM-VENDORu201D with lots of zerou2019s. Can anyone help with this problem? And I was wondering if it is at all possible not to have material master in EBP with this setup?

We implemented the BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER to remove any vendor information which resolved the problem. However, I was then faced with a new problem by not having the product master in EBP for the corresponding material number from the catalog so I replicated that specific material to see if it resolved the problem. It did, and I managed to create a PR in the ECC backend system. Success!!!
However, after changing MATERIAL filters in R3AC1 and afterwards replicating using R3AS I managed to get more materials into the EBP but found out that my filter settings had to be changed. So i deleted all product master (COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_ALL) succesfully changed my filter and ran R3AS but no materials was replicated... I have checked SMQ1 and SMQ2 which were empty. I have even tried to go back to the starting point of replicating just one material and still no luck (even synchronized filter with R/3). I have gone through a number of notes. I have gone into SMWP and there are some red lights but e.g. 'Adapter Status Information' and 'System Settings' looks fine.
How can I get my materials back into EBP? Is it a problem of changing filters and doing intial replications continuosly?
