    this is correct and works.

  • SMQ1 & SMQ2 Alerts: Please help set up Queue blocking alterts

    Hi ALL
We have been experiencing problems with Queue Failures / Blocked Queue  in PROS.
However, we do NOT get this notification as part of Alerts we have set up in ALRTCATDEF.
Can you please, help us with any links on documentation on how to set up SMQ1 & SMQ2 alerts. So, that we get notified via whenever a queue is blocked.
    Your help is greatly appreciated!!
    Regards,
    Patrick

    Hi ,
For runtime errors , you can trigger an alert.
I don't think so, it is possible to trigger an alert when message is stuck in Queue, but if you get any error either system error or application error then you can trigger an alert.
    For more-

If you have got any errors like communication errors because of Queue error, then you can think of configuring CCMS alerts.(i.e alerts for Components)

  • CCMS monitoring for Queues(SMQ1/SMQ2)

    Hi,
How do we monitor Queues(SMQ1/SMQ2) in CCMS. My requirement is to monitor Queues(SMQ1/SMQ2) in CCMS based on the Queue name. I want to create different nodes in CCMS and I want queue name falling under certain criteria should come and sit in the respective node of CCMS.
Means queue with name High_priority should come n sit under node say Test1, queue name with medium_priority should come n sit under node say Test2 and queue name with medium_priority should come n sit under node say Test3.
Is it possible to do so.

    Hello,
also for queue monitoring the easier and more flexible way to monitor is via Business Process Monitoring. The configuration is easier than CCMS where you have to use transaction RZ21 and need to transport objects. And the qRFC monitoring is more flexible than in the CCMS. Basically all customers knowing both standard CCMS qRFC monitoring and qRFC monitoring in BPMon chose the later or exchange their existing CCMS monitoring by BPMon.
See also the SDN blog /people/johannes.fleig/blog/2008/06/11/new-business-process-monitoring-functionalities-in-sap-solution-manager-150-qrfc-monitoring

  • SMQ1 & SMQ2 Monitor

    Hi Friends,
I know that SMQ2 ia a inbound queue and SMQ1 is a outboud queue but wanted to know where this queues are present exactly and Purpose
I guess SMQ2 is the first step in IE after AE forwards the PI SOAP Message and before the Pipeline steps.
Once Pipeline completes the Call Adapter Step then message goes to Adapter through SMQ1. Please clarify
    Regards & Thanks ,
    Manikandan

    >>when we say outbound (SMQ1) it mean messages are incoming to IE of PI( i.e Sender System->AE->IE)
AFAIK ...the PI XML (from the sender system) message is first placed in the inbound queue after that logical routing and splitting of messages will take place, then the message is placed in the outbound queue (mapping and technical routing will take place) and once all the pipeline steps executed messages from the outbound queue is assigned to the receiver of the message through an adapter(optional)...

  • SMQ1/SMQ2 monitoring

What is a good way to monitor these queues, if something is getting stuck, processing for too long.

    Hi John,
Thanks for the response. I understand that these are just transcation code. These transaction codes displays the current status of the queue and sometimes something gets stuck in the queue and is not cleared. For example an RFC call was made and this call never completed. This sometimes hangs the queue, all further messages just sit in the queue and are never processed.
Is there a way to get an alert from this queue to find out if a message has been sitting there for too long like an hour or more. I am planning to write a RFC for checking this queue like every 30 min and see if there is anything stuck in there. Before I write out the RFC I want to find out if there is a standard alert that I can subscribe to which can tell me if there is anything pending in the queue which is older than 60 mins.
    Thanks,
    Varun

  • Generation of Alerts for errors in SMQ1 and SMQ2

    Dear Experts,
When messages get stuck in queue (SMQ1 / SMQ2) due to some error, we donu2019t get any alert notification (E Mail) from system. Normally we get below mentioned errors in SMQ1 or SMQ2.
    1. Permanent error in BPE processing.
    2. Error while accessing table.
Can you please suggest how do we generate alert notifications for the above errors in SMQ1 and SMQ2.
    Thanks
    Dhwani Kamdar

If u have CCMS configured for your landscape, then it could be possible. Else its not possible in my opinion.

  • SMQ1 and SMQ2?

Generally where smq1(out bound queuw) and smq2(inbound queue) is used?

    Hi Reddy,
SMQ1 - qRFC Monitor for the outbound queue. You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue and restart any hanging queues manually.
SMQ2 - qRFC Monitor for the inbound queue. You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue.

  • SMQ1 and SMQ2 queues stuck

    Hi All,
We are using ISU and CRM system for Retail business, Always work flows and lot of business transactions will perform in those systems and replications will happen in both systems.
Due to this reason lot of entries are present in SMQ1, SMQ2 and SM58 will present. We are continuously monitoring though some times some entries are are found in sysfail status. due to this lot of entries are piled up and queues becomes very high amount.
As a work around, If we unlock the queue ( sysfail entry ) two to three times the entry will go and the remaining entries will start move.
Currently our requirement is can we do this kind of this as automated ? I mean as per conditions it will unlock the queues automatically ?
Please suggest me in this case.
    Thanks in advance.
    Pavan.

    Hi Dustin,
Thanks for your reply. I had gone through the mentioned notes and say about it is not recommended to use regular basis. Here our requirement is need to check the sysfail entries in the queue. Need to unlock the queue twice or thrice to re-process the entry. If any data issue our CRM middle ware team can handle.
The major purpose is to unlock the queue entries which can re-process automatically without manual correction.
I like to proceed with Deepanshu suggestion to check with ABAPer. before that I need to check with our CRM middle ware team to get the list of error which can process through unlocking the queue.
Will keep you posted the updates. Thanks a lot for your time and response.
    Thanks,
    Pavan.

  • SMQ1 purpose

    Hi,
What is the purpose of cleaning the SMQ1,SMQ2,SMQS?
While upgrading why it has to be deleted?
Please let me know the reason. and if there we dont do, what will happen?
    Thanks in advance
    Savitha

    Hi,
SMQ1:Out bound queue which is phisical storage of OUT bound delta(RSA7:delta queue),delta data will be saved in unstructured format
SMQ2:Inbound queue,Where you can see data which is coming from other systems to your R3 system
SMQS:QOUT scheduler where u can see the queue names which are connected to your R3 system like BI  snd someother systems which are geeting data from your R3 system
SMQR:QIN sheduler where you can see the queues which are connected to your R3 system and from which you are pulling data to you R3 system like CRM for example your R3 system is getting updates from CRM system then CRM queue u can see in SMQR scheduler
While upgrading your source system all systems will be cleared because Upgrade will be fast and u can avoid  data corruptions.
somtimes data source structure will be changed because of upgrade ,so if u keep delta data it will  be corrupted and u will face delta load will failed and u will get dumps in RSA7 and to currect this error u have to delete delta data nd reintilize.
to avoid above errors ,we have to clear delta data before upgrade.if u do this u will not miss any delta data and upgrade also will be fast.

  • Materials and Services stucked in SRM SMQ2

    Hi there!
When changing or creating services and materials on ECC they are automatically transferred to SRM but they get stucked in SRM in transaction SMQ2. If I enter SMQ2 and activate the queue, the products in SRM are correctly generated.
    Queue names: SRMD_MATERIA0000000000  /   SRMD_SERVICE_MASTER
How can I do to let them automatically being created into SRM without having to activate the queue? Is there a job missing?

  • PI 7.11 handling EOIO Backlog in Engine Status for a Receiver Component

    Hi
In our PI 7.11 we have for more days had an EOIO Backlog of 120 messages for one of our receiver components when checking the Engine status Backlog tab (RWB -> Component Monitoring -> Adapter Engine -> Engine Status -> Backlog tab -> Receiver Components section)
My question is how I can process the backlog. There is nothing to see in either smq1/smq2/sm58 on the PI system or in smq1/smq2 on the receiver system.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mikael

    HI,
Go to MessagingSystem of the server and there the option for the EOIO Sequence Monitoring will be available and can make use of that...
MessagingSystem link is http://host:port/MessagingSystem there the message which bloking the other messages can be seen...

  • Cancelamento de NF-e parado (batch status 05, process status 02)

    Bom dia pessoal,
1 - Status = Transfer to Process Engine (, Ack. Status = branco
2 - Status = Processed Successfully, Ack. Status = Still awaiting acknowledgment (bola verde com interrogação)
You cannot restart XML message E07AFA5FD584CEF1B15C3C4A927627EC with this status/type
    Message no. XMS_ADM085
    Diagnosis
You want to reschedule an XML message that has already been processed (Restart). However, the XML message status or type does not permit a restart.
    System Response
You can only restart asynchronous XML messages.
Furthermore, you can only reschedule XML messages with errors. You cannot restart correctly processed XML messages or XML messages with the status Being Processed.
    => SMQ1 e SMQ2 ambas sem entradas.
    Obrigado!
    Eduardo Hartmann

    Eduardo,
    O NFe type = 2 (cancelamento)?

"logical port template is inconsistent; regenerate and active it"
    "regenerate proxy (see long text)"

  • Envio de XML para fornecedor

    Srs,
Process Status: 08 (Sent to B2B)
    Error Status: Vazio
Status Code: 100 (Autorizado o uso da NF-e)
    ERP Error: Vazio
Em history ele segue o seguinte processo:
Overall Status - Creation Date - Creation Time
    Received from Feeder System - 05.05.2010 - 11:00:20
    Sent to Signature Service - 05.05.2010 - 11:00:20
