Sms failed...then?

I was sending sms to a mobile phone but the last one was failed. Is it going to be delivered later or i have to send it again? for instance skape will try to send it again or it is just failed and lost? Thanks

When you send a text from Skype, a Sent status will appear next to the text message in the main chat area, which will usually change to Delivered when the text has been delivered. A text can remain Sent for up to 24 hours and during this time delivery of your text will be reattempted periodically. If after 24 hours the text still cannot be delivered, the status will change from Sent to Failed. Once failed, then you d have to go and send a new one.

I just had the same problem, I've updated to 10.6.8 yesterday, and since then the browsing are very slow, no matter what broswer I am using, the upload download speed are still the same. But browsing just take forever, It takes for example google.com 30 seconds to load. I have Extream high speed internet connection, 3 other computers, and the only one is having this problem is the Mac after the update.
Something in this update screwed my browsing capabitilties, I tried downloading Crome browser, same issue.
I hope there is a way beside TimeMachine to revert the latest update. I don't want to reformat as I am sure as soon as I am going to do the update it will cause the same problem.

You may have a bad sim, contact your phone carrier and see if you can get a new one.

Help! I have the same issue. I use YAHOO. When I send a photo from my iPhone, it gives an error message "Photo Delivery Failed". I click ok. The Photo was actually sent to the email address even though I had the error message. Next time I unlock the iPhone, I see the Photo Delivery Failure message again. The iPhone then proceeds to send multiple copies of the photo to the email address. I cannot stop it from sending duplicates.
Any suggestions?

SMS failed

My current skype version is 6.3.0.105. I have sufficient credit, and have been using skype to sms various mobiles for several years.
Since past few months, any sms I send is not getting delivered. Skype gives "Failed Try again". In some cases, I tried again, with no luck.
It seems that this is a problem faced by many Skype users. What is the solution please?

Adobe Muse CC (2014) - Installation Fails, then Finishes, but no application.

I'm having trouble installing Muse. the installer gets to 84% and fails.
I've uninstalled, repaired permissions, booted from repair partition and repaired, zapped PRAM and then tried them all again twice, but it still doesn't install.
Here's the error that I get:

I've seen this thread but it didn't fix anything: Update Muse CC failed, I tried again but it didn't work. All other 6 updates succeeded. Message was: installation failur…
And I've tried everything on this page multiple times: Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps
After clicking on "Retry" multiple times, it eventually installs, but the application is not in my Application folder and is nowhere to be found. I quit the Creative cloud app and relaunch it after a "Successful Install'" but the application isn't installed and the CC app shows that I need to upgrade it.
Muse CC shows up as installed even though I uninstalled it.
I've updated it several times, but it still will either fail, or finish and not actually install anything.
** UPDATE **
Tried installing on another computer. while the install said it failed, the application appeared in the application folder and it worked. It failed at 84-85% and apparently the uninstaller wasn't installed. I copied the Muse CC 2014 folder to my machine, restarted the creative cloud app and everything works. no idea why the CC app fail to install Muse, but the act of uninstalling it the first time removed my ability to reinstall Muse. It's working now but was a pain.

Same thing here. Will have to work with ver. 7.4 until you guys figure out what the issue is. Please let me know how to resolve.
This update installation process is completely different from previous ones where updates would install within Muse application; this update takes you to Adobe application website - offers "Download" of Muse 2014. This is confusing to me...does this mean download a completely new Muse or install an update? Clicking download offers me all CC applications "Try, try, try" etc. or, for Muse to "Install". Clicking install eventually brought me to OP's issue above.

IPod Touch Sync Issues - Fails, then 100% CPU

I've been having a problem where when I try to sync my iPod Touch on my computer, it fails some way through, then the CPU is cranked up to 100% and I have to forcibly restart my computer. Ever since I've installed Windows 7 64-bit I've been having sync issues so I tried restoring it completely and I got myself into this mess. I originally had Vista 32-bit so I'm not sure if it's because of the change. But I have an HP Pavilion dv2615nr. Any help would be greatly appreciated cause I cannot get any music onto my iPod.

I believe you've got an nVidia chipset on that model. If so, and you've got over 4 GB of RAM, you'll need to update your Host Controllers.
It's available either as a Microsoft hotfix:

(Unfortunately, it doesn't always appear on the downloads page for a specific model ... if you upgrade to 7 on some earlier models, they don't always provide all potentially relevant drivers. I couldn't find any Windows 7 drivers available for you model for example.)
To doublecheck to see if your model does have an nVidia chipset, it might be worth posting over at the HP Support forums.

App Update Failed then App Store Says Not Available

I just attempted to update my iMac with the latest versions of Safari, iPhoto, Aperture, etc.
The files downloaded but the installation then failed.
I have checked the version number of all the affected Apps and confirmed that they did not update (e.g. Safari is v6.0.1, not v6.0.2).
When I return to the App Store, however, it says no updates available.
I found in a CNet article (http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57530446-263/fix-corrupt-mac-app-store-down loads/) a recommendation to delete the cache so that the App Store updates reset. I have tried this but the App Store still shows 'No Updates Available'.
I know I can use the Apple download site to obtain some of the updates, but not all of them are available there e.g. Safari.
Any suggestions?

Just in case anyone arrives here with a similar issue, I wanted to post that the problem has fixed itself. When I relaunched the App Store one day after encountering the issue, the Updates had reappeared.
I was able to successfully download and install them.
Clearly there is a time lag before the Updates reset after a failed download or install. I am sure there is a file that can be deleted or edited to accelerate this, but I have not yet found it...

Duplicate SMS, failed SMS, etc.

Okay so now i'm having a whole new set of issues with my iphone 4. Ever since I updated to iOS 5, texts fail randomly and i have to resend them till they go through, or other people will randomly get old texts twice or three times, sometimes even more. Sometimes they get texts from yesterday again today. it's getting ridiculous and ******* everyone i know off when i'm literally not doing anything to cause this. Apple doesn't seem to have a clue why it'd do this so now i just have a case number for the issue. They had me shut off imessage, that didn't help so i decided on my own accord to do a factory restore from itunes. I'll have to see if this works. Has anyone else heard of this issue or have had similar problems? any advice would be appreciated.

You would have to look on your bill to determine that. I would say that you are, and the reason I say this is because I've sent my son SMS msg's only to find out (at that particular time) that he needed to add on some mins to his "pay as you go" package, so technically he didn't receive the SMS. However I was charged for the outgoing SMS message. Like I mentioned above though, you would have to determine that on your own by looking at your bill.

Fails then starts from scratch!

I had TM on my new Mac mini set up to do backups to my HFS+ (non journalled) 500GB external hard drive (internal put into a USB case) and I have another FireWire 'My Book' 750Gb with all of my media, installers etc which is included in the backup to that drive.
For a little while I had a full backup (I excluded Macintosh HD initially then added it after the My Book was backed up). Then one day it tells me it failed to backup while doing things on my mac. So I shrug it off and click Backup Now but then it started from 0mb, and was determined to back up the whole 220GB of data on my drives again!
And obviously it then told me I don't have enough space cause of the two full backups.
It basically failed and then decided it had forgotten about my other 200 gb backup.. Anyone else had this problem? At the moment I have my 500GB backup disc turned off and TM disabled cause I don't trust it to just work.
When I get TIME I might try erasing my backup disc again and start the process from scratch but this is very annoying.

It appears, from your post, that the formatting is not correct.

Backup to external 1 TB external HD failed, then main HD failed, everything lost

I back up my Windows 7 religiously every 3 months using Windows Backup and keep the hard drive at another location (in case of fire at home). This time everything went wrong:
The first backup attempt failed. Not enough space on hard drive, supposedly.
I deleted previous backups from the 1 TB hard drive and started a new complete Windows backup.
That backup also failed (after several hours) but did not give a reason. I checked the "details" but there were really no details at all.
I figure a reboot might help, so I reboot my Windows 7 system (which I do every day).
The mouse did not work, so I rebooted again. (This happened approx. every 5th time I rebooted that drive.)
But this time the boot manager was not found. ?! Tried again multiple times - no luck. Hard drive is now completely dead. So now I have no hard drive AND NO BACKUP.
Husband (IT professional) tries everything to access the hard drive. No choice but to RMA, he says. He gets me a new hard drive and installs a new Windows 7 system similar to my old one.
So we connected the external hard drive just to see what's on it. Content:
A MyName-PC "file" from the day I tried making this last backup.
WindowsImageBackup folder from Jan. 2012
MediaID.bin from Jan. 2012
So I double-click MyName-PC and get the Windows Backup dialog that asks, "Do you want to restore files from this backup?" Heck yes! I click
Restore files. But I get an error message: "The backup application could not start due to an internal error: (0xC0003005)." No further information.
So I drill down into WindowsImageBackupand there are 10 XML files in there with long names, plus a huge VHD file and BackupSpecs.xml.
Please, any advice what to do? I am very concerned about this. Above all my family's photos from 15 years seem to be lost, which is unacceptable.
Questions (answer any or all, please!):
Is there likely to be any way to restore (or get files off of) the hard drive that appears to be completely dead?
Can I do anything with the files (described above) on the external hard drive? Even though the backup failed (according to the error message from the dying hard drive), it did run for several hours. I apparently can't get Windows Backup to restore them,
but is there any other way?
There were previous backups on the external hard drive. I deleted those right before starting the new backup. The hard drive properties say that 351 GB is used out of 1 TB. Is it possible that some of those photos can be restored even though they were deleted?
Any other advice? What's my next step? (I have to get those pictures back one way or another...)

A1. try recovery tool as mentioned above.
A2. backup will create a vhd file. test if you can mount it as a drive. if so some files may be found back from it.
A3. also try recovery tool. but if data is overwritten you may not able to find them back.
A4. if pictures are copied from camera then test if you can recover a part of them from the memory stick...
