Does SAP B1 8.8 supports SMS Functionality in Indian Localization?

Hi all,
I wanted to send some vendor data from SAP to a group of vendors through SMS to their mobile phones.
How can this be possible??

There's no official documentation to compare localizations.
Please follow Mr. Nagarajan's advice to compare demo DBs and search by "Russia" or "RU" in the help file to find some differences.
Some most obvious differences are:
GL accounts
Tax
default company settings that're often changeable but suggest localization differences
document: e.g. Russia has correction invoice/reversal

You need to create a rule in schema to handle only the first and last entries.
IF they are supposed to be swipeed only twice then you can create constant in t511k and set the start time and end time and compare them and process.......

Lenovo Vibe X2 keeps hanging when trying to pullup the contacts or when opening the SMS function !

Have been using the Vibe X2 since 2 months. Phone keeps hanging when trying to pullup the contacts or when opening the SMS function. Terribly dissatisfied with the functioning.

Its Very Urgent Creation of .dmp file in SAP 2007B - Indian Localization

Hello All
Can anyone provide help with this error. The SAP B1 does not allow to use AR Delivery or Sales. But it allows to use AP & Production Document for transactions.
It gives an error at which time when ok is pressed the just logs out of SAP B1.
ERROR IS AS FOLLOWS
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\Log\SAP Business One_20080703120518.dmp
Application has a Problem.
Diagnostic file C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\Log\SAP Business one_20080703120518.dmp was created.
Please Contact support and attach diagnostic file.
The system does not allow to proceed with Sales AR Module. & logs one out.
Many .dmp files are created in Program Files> SAPSAP Business one-->log

We would appreciate it if you could log the message accordingly to the
guidelines which you can find in the software maintenance agreement.
This process will take time initially but in the long run it will be

allowing you to refer to previously reported issues and speed up SBO

Process to log a message:
To assist you, please use the following steps:
To create messages, go to www.service.sap.com/smb/sbo/support
Log in using your s-user and password
Click "SAP Business One Messages" (from the main page)
Click on the 'Create message' button
Fill in the required fields as accurately as possible
Guidelines on how to formulate a message:
To help us to deal with your message as quickly as possible, please use
the following guidelines:
Handle only one problem per message
Specify the customer and system in which the error occurs
Specify if it is a Test, Development or Production System
Specify the installed SAP Business One Release (if necessary also the version of installed add-ons or SDK)
Specify a contact person and telephone number

Use a meaningful short text
Describe the problem in detail:

Threshold configuration in TDS - SAP B1 8.8 (Indian Localization)

I would like to have the solutions on TDS for the following requirements from one of our client
1) Threshold - Single payment exceeding Rs.30,000/Aggregate during the Year exceeding Rs.75000
2) And also i would like to know whether Linking G/L's for Surcharge is mandatory, since there is no surcharge applicable.

Thanks for your response. But in WH Tax configuration 'Thresold' limit can be set for a amount. But the requirement is :
When single payment exceeds 30000/= or aggregate during the year exceeding 75000/-
Any solution for this??

Build-in SMS function for iphone3GS

I have just started to use my iphone recently. I am a heavy sms user and I find that the current SMS/ Message function in my iphone 3GS is very unfriendly and make me feel very frustrating..the following issues I have encountered and hope some good experts out there could provide some good advices...really at fix...
1. Sending SMS to Multiple receipents. I have to add the receipent one by one from the contact book to the SMS screen. This process is tedious and time consuming especially if I need to send out to 100 receipient at one go.
2. Lost message. I have to be very careful in typing the message, once I touch the edit button or press the menu button, the message that I am typing will be lost and cannot be recovered. It is unlike some smart phone where this message is stored under the Draft.
3. Stored folder. There is no stored folder for SMS. Sometime while I am keying a long SMS and I need to handle the phone or to work on other things, I could not save the SMS to elsewhere for future working.
4. Replying via Chinese Character. It is another challenge if I need to reply the receipient by Chinese Character. In fact I do not know how I could do it.
5. Small Display Screen. The display for the SMS that I am typing is too small. I would need to scroll back to see what I have type...
Iphone is a state of art technology and it meant good for business function..however with such a build in SMS software, it is really disappointing. Is there any software available in the market which I could purchase, download,etc to bridge this gap. Really need someone to advise me on this SMS concern. Thanks.

If you write long SMS, use the Notes app to write your SMS and then copy and paste it to the SMS app.

PLD amount as per Indian Localization (High Priority)

I am Using SAP B One 2007B SP00 PL 07
Problem is as follows:
For example if the amount is 144400.44 INR. This amount is displayed as follows in PLD
IN Figure: 144,400.44
In words: one hundred and fourteen thousand four hundred and forty four hundreth only
where as our requirement is as follows:
In Figure: 1,44,400.44
In words: one lakh fourty four thousand four hundred and fourty four paise only.
This is generic requirement for Indian localizaion. Can any one resolve this issue since i was unable to get any solution on SAP forum.
