SMS Out of order fix

Not sure if this has been figured out, and posted already - but I found a fix for the out-of-order SMS message issue.
It seems to only happen when you exit the SMS app while it's sending.
In other words - let the SMS send, then go back to your message list, or hit your home button.
Once I trained myself to SMS that way - the problem hasn't come up again.
If I DO hit the home button, or the messages arrow while an SMS is in transit - the issue reappears.

When sending or receiving text messages on the iPhone, the SMS messages may be displayed out of sequence.

This can occur if the iPhone is not displaying the same date and time setting as the carrier network time.
Make sure iPhone is setup to receive the network time. Choose General > Date & Time and turn Set Automatically to ON. (Note that in some locations, network time may not be available and in some cases, you may not see this option).
If the issue continues after turning this setting on, the issue may be occurring because messages are being sent in quick succession (more common if the messages consist of only a few short words).

Did anyone ever find a way to fix this?

was getting the problem (even when I sent SMS messages to myself, which cuts out the different carrier/time zone/time set on the phones issues) but I appear to have fixed it ...
I noticed that if I changed the time zone on my iPhone the displayed time would not change.
I could go into Setting -> General -> Date & Time -> Time Zone and change the location to, say, Cupertino and back out or head back to the Home screen and the time displayed on my iPhone would not change ...

i.e. Dock iPhone with computer, Sync then Restore
... I am now able to alter the Time Zone and the time change is being made.
I then checked the time my iPhone was displaying against http://www.time.gov/ and the time on my iPhone is now correct to the second (before the Restore I was about 15 seconds behind).
Now I've only conducted 5 conversations since then so I might be getting a bit pre-emptive ... but the ordering of my SMSs now seems to be spot on!
Including a conversation I had with myself (where, because the SMS messages are being sent and received at such sort intervals, often in the same minute, that the margin for error must be at it's lowest).
It doesn't seem to have been universally successful (see here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1349009) but, touch wood, it's done the business for me.

The track list on an album is out of order, even though the numbers are correct. How do I fix this?

I bought a couple of songs off an album a few months ago. Last night, I decided to buy the rest of the album, but when I look at my library, the songs are out of order. I've attached a screenshot of the album below.
The first four songs are out of order, I need to know how to put them in order.

I've run into this in the past and the best method I've come across to fix this issue is to highlight all the songs in the album (in this case Disc 1) and press Command + I to edit the metadada. In the edit box, I make sure everything is Disc 1 of 1, and then add a space to the end of the Album title, click ok, then go back and remove the space. Doing this seems to force iTunes to refresh the info displayed, whereas not changing the album's title sometimes leaves things as is.

I recently got a new 160gb Ipod and noticed when i synced with my itunes library that a lot of my albums are out of order. looked around trying to fix myself, but the suggestion to go to 'get info' tab and fix song order is not working. Noticed that the date on a lot of the albums is 1969 despite the fact that they are newer albums

Sms network out of order for one contact

I have had my curve for a while and i cannnot seem to send an sms to one of my contacts only as oit comes up with the network out of order error message! Help Please

Step 1: Remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it a few seconds later.
Step 2: Try once again to send that contact an SMS.
Step 3: Thank me for the helpful advice and have a good life with your new-found happiness.

SMS messages out of order

Ever since I upgraded to 1.1.3, my text messages with certain people are out of order. I'll send a message, then when they reply their message will be above mine, like their reply was the original message then I replied. I hope that makes sense. Is anyone else having this problem? Do you know how to fix it? My time is already selected to be set by the network.

That problem was acknowledged by Apple. Their possible solution is go to Settings>General>Date&Time>Set Automatically ON

If you don't have find my iPhone install it's not much you can do. You should change your passwords on those accounts and on your iTunes account as soon as possible.

After downloading Maverick, my photobooth images were out of chronological order. I've now downloaded Yosemite and they are still out of order. Is there a fix for this?

SMS: Network out of order

I got my blackberry curve 8520 on friday, o2 contract, registered it all, sorted and working, then on sat swapped my pay and go number to my contract number so i wouldn't have to tell everyone. they said it would take 24 hours to swap so i wouldn't be able to text which i was fine about.
Its now been more then 24 hours and whenever i try to send an SMS i shows a X and says "Network out of order". I can email, blackberry messenger, call, facebook send and recieve etc. only thing i cant do is send a SMS??
Pulled battery out and SIM. But will not work.
Anyone got any ideas?

Get your sms service number from your service provider, google it.
1. Go to options
2. go to sms
3. service center and change the number to the right service number.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you create your play order manually then select the playlist, right click it (or use ctrl+click) & select "Copy to play order".
I think when you burn that playlist it should obey that order, it has been so long since I made a mix CD that I'm not certain, good luck.

One thing, don;t think of them as being imported in any one particular order.
The order of the images is completely fluid, you can change it anytime you want to suit your needs at that particular moment.
As Léonie showed you select the order you want to see the images in by selecting the item you want to sort on in the pull-down.
The only time fluid sort order can be a problem is when you export groups of images. If you put the images into a particular order in Aperture when you export them and view them in the Finder the order they are in may very well be different. In this case you could give names to the images that include a sequence number or index.
Then when they are viewd in the Finder they will be in them same order they were in in Aperture.

Automator - When using the Render PDF as Image action, the first file is out of order (naming). How can I fix this?

I am creating an Automator Action to render PDF files as Images. When the PDF is multiple pages, the first page has no numbers, so it ends up at the end of the list. Here's an example:
When it is a single page, the result is:
filename.png
When it is multiple pages, the result is:
filename 141.png
filename 142.png
filename 143.png
filename 144.png
filename.png
First, it always seems to start at 141...not sure why.
Second, I did try to add an action to rename and make sequential, however the resulting list was in the same order... except with additional numbers at the end.
Any suggestions?

"Network out of order" and "Short message transfer rejected"

I have a BB 9300 3G Curve and I have trouble sending SMS. This is a peculiar problem since I
#1 am able to send an SMS problem free sometime
#2 get an error message saying "Network out of order"
#3 get an error message saying "Short message transfer rejected"
Plus, this problem is not specific to a particular contact number. I get different messages (1,2,3 above) for the same number at different times. I have tried putting my SIM in a different handset and it works perfectly fine.
Someone please HELP!

Simply try pulling out the battery and leaving it out for a couple minutes. Usually, that is the fix-all to glitches. If not, you should contact your wireless mobile provider and see if they can help you. Usually, they are very easy to get along with and want to help you. But I think the battery pulling out will help you. It's happened to me before and I had to do that.

Phone keeps on telling me network out of order

Help! Everytime I try to send sms on my z10 it keeps on telling me network out of order. This is the first time that it has happened to me and it's really bothering me. How can I fix this?

That seems strange. Try registering your phone on the network once again.
To do this, swipe down from the top of your homescreen and select Settings>About and switch the Category menu to Network. Next, press the three dots in the bottom right corner and register your phone again.
Try that and post back with your results.

Data written to socket getting lost? or perhaps out of order?

I'm trying to fix a bug in Flashmog. The bug is described in more detail here.
Basically what is happening is that my Flash client claims that it is calling functions that don't arrive at the server -- or they arrive, but the socket data is out of order and therefore is garbled. I've stared at the source code for hours and tried a lot of trial-and-error type stuff and added trace statements to see if I can find the problem and I'm not having any luck.
In particular, there's class I have called RPCSocket that extends the AS3 Socket class so I can serialize data structures before sending them across a socket. At one point, this RPCSocket class calls super.writeBytes and super.Flush. It is the point at which I send all data out of my client. The data is binary data in AMF3 format.

Can someone recommend a way for me to store without corruption, conversion, or filtering or translation of any kind *all* of the information sent across this socket? I'd like to write it to a file. I'm guessing that keep a global ByteArray var and storing the info there might work, but I'm wondering how I might get the contents of that ByteArray into a file so I can inspect it.
Also, I'm wondering if I might be able to inspect what flash actually sends out on the socket? I have a sneaking suspicion that data I supply to super.writeBytes may be sent out of order or may not actually get sent across the socket. This bug I'm talking about only seems to happen under high-stress situations when I'm sending dozens of messages per second across this one socket.
