SMS privacy is now gone

In 2.1 when you had your phone locked you got a message saying there was a new text message but now like in 2.0 when you get a text message and your phone is locked it shows who sent the message. If I have the phone locked I don't want anyone to know who is sending text messages...why did they remove this feature. Am I missing something here?

I'm not sure what you mean since your question is phrased poorly, but if you are implying that I still have an option for disable any information from being displayed, you are simply incorrect.

Wow. You're mean. I simply asked for the option to have it either way (making my life easier as a user, as well) and you're passing judgement on how I do my job? Come on, man. That's not cool.
I am requesting to have the option for it to be EITHER way. If someone is okay with that privacy being gone, then that's their business. I, on the other hand, am not okay with that and would prefer the option to have full privacy as I have in version 2.1.

Hi. Downloaded iphone 6.0 and my video playlists in "Music" are now gone, but their names are still there. The videos are still in "Videos" and play from there 1 at a time manually. It gets weirder:
When looking at the empty screen with the name of my former playlist on top, if I tap the edit button on the phone, tap the + button to add a 'song' to the playlist, and then tap 'Done' without adding anything, I can see all my videos in the playlist with the red minus symbol next to each of them. But as soon as I tap 'Done' again they all disappear!
I saw on another forum that someone has had the same problem but fixed it by, and I quote
"If you go to Get Info and change the Media Kind from Movie to Music Video under the Options tab, they all now appear in the playlists!"
I'm happy this worked for him, but when I tap "File" in itunes, the "Get info" field is greyed out, so I can't test the solution proposed.
Any ideas?

Please google search for "Mountain Lion disk crash" before upgrading you mac pro. You might need to replace you Mac hard drive after the upgrade.So many people had the same problems including me.
Be aware of the Mountain Lion upgrade problem.

I have a finalized project in iMovie '11. Shared it on Youtube, Facebook, and Vimeo. Then, when I shared it to iDVD, it reverted to a previous version of the project, so my titles and pictures were out of sequence. My final project is now gone!

I didn't notice this problem until after the DVD was burned in iDVD. Then, when I played the DVD in a public setting, I was a bit embarrassed by what played.

• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

Depends on what you had
If you had iPhoto version 9.5.1 then you can reinstall from the app store under purchases
If you had any version of iPhoto '11 then you can install for free from the App store
If you had any earlier version of iPhoto (iPhoto '09 version 8.x.x) or older then you need to purchase iPhoto '11 version 9.x.x from the app store
If you had iPhoto '08 (version 7.x.x) or older then you also need to download and run the iPhoto library upgraded prior to launching the new iPhoto

I just updated to 25.0 and I noticed the History drop down menu has been simplified and Back, Forward and Home are now gone. Can these be restored?

I am running on a Mac (Lion) with FF 25.0. I typically hide the toolbar because I like to max out my screen space without having to go into full screen mode. So I typically use a custom keyboard command to navigate forward and back during my browser session, but occasionally the keyboard command fails and the page is unresponsive. In the past all I had to do was go up to the History drop down menu and choose "Back" or "Forward". I would also use the "Home" selection to get back to my homepage. But ever since I updated to 25.0 those selection are now gone from the History menu.
Is there any way to restore them? And are they gone for all users (was this a global change) or are one of my add-ons simply not playing nice and causing this problem? TIA!

On WinXP Back, Forward, and Home was last in the Firefox 3.6 versions and disappeared as of Firefox 4.0 - and hasn't been seen since.

Just upgraded to lateste verison of Firefox and started using the Tab groups. Like them, but noticed that Save all bookmarks is now gone. How do I save all my bookmark stored inside the tab groups?

I had to restart firefox because of an update and I saved all my tabs and when I restarted firefox it has lost all of my saved bookmarks...won't be using the new tab groups again..very disappointed

Right-click the title bar of any of the panels in the righthand column of the Develop module (for example, the Basic panel) and choose "Adjustments" from the panel list that appears.

Check to see if Premiere autosaved your project. Open Premiere and start a new project.
File Menu > Project Settings > Scratch Disks
The last entry is 'Project Auto Saves'. See where this is pointing on your computer. If you are very lucky, Premiere may have autosaved your project from before and you'd be able to find it and open it that way.
Otherwise, you won't be able to recover a project that wasn't saved.

It is possible that you forgot to add a file extension (.json) while saving and in that case you may be looking for the wrong file.
Also make sure that you search for hidden files and folder in case the file was saved in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder]
Firefox won't import the file without a .json file extension ("Can't process ..."), but you can create a backup with any name.

You should ALWAYS import all pics ( and anything selse for that matter) before any update.
If you failed to do this, then the pics are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup.
