SMS Problems with 10.1.0.4181 - Enterprise, please help!!

A number of our users are having trouble with SMS messaging since installing 10.1.0.4181. Users are all Z10s on Telus, using ActiveSync (not running a BES).
SMS messaging will freeze up randomly, and not allow users to send messages. Messages can be received, but not read or replied to. If you try to go into a conversation through either the hub or the Text Icon on the home screen, the conversation does not display. The screen appears blank, and tapping on the message box causes the keyboard to appear and the message box to disappear. Further, it appears to be stuck on the most recent conversation. (i.e. If you try to open a previous conversation with a different person, it isn't possible).
Anyone else having this problem? It doesn't seem to get fixed by refreshing the hub, doing a complete restart, or pulling the battery.
Can we roll back, or will a fix be available soon?

OK, if your OS is indeed 10.1.0.4181 and your radio is 10.1.0.4634, according to BBerry you have a misaligned radio. People have been having issues with this update. Your radio should probably be 10.1.0.4182.

Having a big problem with my 6 day old macbook, please help!

My macbook was working fine, I haven't had much of a chance to install the hardware that came with it until tonight though. I was starting to install the first disk that came with my macbook, when I saw that it would take over 3 hours to install. SInce I need to go to bed early I decided to cancel and figured I could start tomorrow after work.
Well, I turned my mac back on to see if it was still alright, and my mac hd is missing off the desktop, it doesn't even show the main toolbar/taskbar that's across the top of the screen unless I'm in safari. A message keeps coming up that says spotlight quit unexpectedly. I tried hitting all three options (ignore, report, and restart) different times and the window still keeps coming up.
I put the disk back in my computer to see if I could just start to install it again but the computer isn't even recognizing that there is a disk in there.
PLEASE HELP ME!! This is a brand new computer and I can't afford for it to break.

I hope you invested in AppleCare. It extends your warranty for three years and also gives you three years of phone support. MacBooks come ready to use, as far as I know. The discs that come with it contain software, not "hardware" are provided in case of problems. Take your MacBook back to the Applestore and they will take care of the problem. If it is unfixable, they will replace your MacBook, but you only have fifteen days, after which, they will repair your MacBook, but not replace it (unless it is totally FUBAR) Your sales person should have explained all this to you. Problem with zen-nano-plus!! please help

i have the zen-nano-plus 52mb. and i try to update the firmware with latest version but i don't delete the music files in it.
i have started the instalation and the program asked me to delete the files on zen. (i didn't care keeping the files, so i continue the instalation)
when the program began to delete the files, after in few seconds i received an error messege from windowsoperating system reported error. the limit time on semaphore it's over.) now i have an 0.00.00 firmware version and i can't use the zen-nano because it's not starting. i have tried with the recovery tool but same situation it happend again. please help me if anybody knows something!!!!

Go to Creative.com and click the Support link. Look for the firmware driver for your Zen Nano and follow the directions. I had to do this to fix my Zen Nano Plus, because it had the exact same problem that yours had.

Problem with my ipods audio!! Please help!

When I play any audio on my ipod, it usually only comes through one earbud. Even if the headphones are brand new, and in perfect working order. My brother has a perfect working set of headphones, and when he uses them with his ipod, they work perfectly. Then when I plug them into my ipod, the sound only comes through 1 earbud (the right side). Then if I lightly pinch to the upper right of the click wheel (right under the screen), it will start to work. But I sometimes have to pinch in different places. What could be the problem???? Do I have to send it in to be repaired? Please help!!!

Problem with I-Trigue 3400 (static)! Please help!

Alright, I bought my first set of I-Trigue 3400s about 2 weeks ago. Less than a few hours after using them, static started to come through the right speaker. This would happen intermittently for the next 2 days before I decided to exchange them. I was told it must of been a manufacturing defect and not to worry.
Well, I got a 2nd set of the I-Trigues to replace my first set. Everything has been swell for the past 2 weeks until last night. Last night and today I am once again getting static over my speakers. I tried fiddeling with the wires thinking it might be a loose connection and I also tried shutting off my computer and any nearby electronic devices. Unfortunately, none of my attempts have resolved the issue. This time the static is coming out of both speakers, although it is really bad and loud with the right speaker. I tried switching the left/right plugs around for the speakers, and this just made the louder static come out of the left speaker instead of the right one..
PLEASE HELP! My speakers haven't even lasted me two weeks!! And this is the 2nd set of 3400s I buy!!!!
btw, I've already sent for my rebate, so I don't think I can exchange my speakers for the THIRD time!

Hey! I've got the same problem with the same kind of speakers! When im listening to something volume is coming down and after a some time its coming back to its previous level! Coming back to its normal level can be forced by turning the speakers on and off! thats all i've discovered...
i also heard that some of creative speakers have kind of (f**k i dont know the word in english :P ) which works like that: when subwoofer is hot it automatially turns the volume lower to save your speakers from burning form hot :P or something like this :P
hmm... what i discovered that is no matter what i connect as source of music! effect of volume is the same
or maby you discovered the reason of this?

Problem with Micro Sim release Mechanism. Please help?

I am using Ipad2 and tried to change the Micro SIM using the Pins to release it. The Micro Sim holder is not coming out as usual and there seems to be an internal problem with the release mechanism. For now, I can't access my Micro Sim. Please help?

Tried as suggested but it does not work. Something seems wrong in the release mechanism. Thanks anyway. Is there any other option? If I bring it the Apple Service Center, will they be able to work it out?

Vista - Problem with Audio config!!! please help!!!

I just finished a clean install of Vista and installed iTunes. When I try to open iTunes an error message pops up saying "iTunes has detected a problem with youraudio configuration.Audio/Video playback may not operate properly." I have looked on teh forums and all I have seen is something about uninstalling QuickTime and then reinstalling it. I have tried that twice and I still get the same error message. If anyone could help that will be great.

HT1414 I am having a problem with a black screen.. Please HELP

I am having black screen issues. Have tried all the resets and no luck. I hear it but cant see anything. I called support and they said pay more money for it to get resolved. I cant see paying money for something i dont ffeel i caused. I left it charging and went out for several hours and came back to a black screen now its gonna cost 149.99 for telephone support that may or may not resolve the issue. Funny the first time I called them it started working again andthe price to get support at that time was 119.99 then they proceeded argue with me that it was not fixed and i would have to pay them to fix it. The darn thing is only 8 months old never been scratched dropped or abused in any way. Someone please help me get his apple ipad working for my daughter. This is her fun she doesnt do much else and i cant seem to figure out what is wrong with it...It is still under warranty and they say just to send it in is going to cost 99.99. I feel im being taken advantage of by the support comapny apple uses....

After selecting the Crop Tool you should see a little icon in the Options bar that allows you to select what kind of grid overlay you'd like while cropping, along with some options that define when to show it...

Problem with XP/Vista Network...please help

Hi. I have been trying all day to configure my new network. I am using a wired wrt54g on a vista pc and using a wmp54g wireless adapter on my xp pc. I can connect to the internet from both pc's so the network connection is there. The problem is that the two pc's cannot see each other?! For about 10 minutes they were both on the map but when I tried to share files and a printer I lost it. I cannot get them to see each other now no matter what I try. Please help. I am new to all this.

In Vista go to adaptor properties choose tcp/ip click advance then wins and enable netbios over tcp/ip. Vista should see the other network computers when check workgroup if you have set up network properly. Graphically if you want to see the xp computer on vista have to download lltd to all xp computers. this worked for me. Did a restore point in case before.

Problem with album art... Please help

Hello, I put all my album art on all my songs which took forever last week. I updated my ipod last week and everything was all right with the album art on it. I updated it today, but now, all my album art on my ipod the same picture. On itunes, though, the album art is correct. How can I fix this without having to re-do my whole library!?? I updated my Ipod software and downloaded the latest itunes. Please help me.. Thanks so much in advance...

The easy quick thing to do IF the album art work is correct on iTUnes, is to just reset the iPod by holding down the center button and menu, if that doesn't work use the latest iPod updater (2006-03-23) and just restore it
Restore will wipe the iPod clean, but you can just sync it again with iTUnes and have everything loaded back on and hopfully with the correct art

Problems with getting BB world to work :( Please help MME

Hi there So I've installed BB World onto my phone, but when I go onto it this is what happens;
1. 'Blackberry ID
App World requires the latest version of Blackberry ID.
Close or Update'
2. So I click update, then this is what it says;
' App World requires the latest version of Blackberry ID.'
'The software upgrade was interrupted. Please try again.'
'Close or Retry'
3. I press on retry multiple times, but nothing happens. So, I give up and press the escape button. Then this pops up;
'Blackberry ID installation failed. Please try again later. (80002)' So then I press 'OK' and it brings me back to the homescreen.
Please help me, I've been trying to search for a solution for two days all over the internet, but no luck.

Having problems with HP6980 printer and Windows 7, please help

I just replaced my XP computer with a new HP computer running Windows 7. Each time I turn on my HP 6980 printer, it won't print. When I go to Devices and Printers, I see that it is offline. I have to delete the printer and reinstall it to make it work and this solution is only good for the session. I have to repeat the process each time that I turn on the computer. Please help.

Names of downloaded files appear in Downloads Window only if that window is open during download. I run Firefox 4 on windows xp 32 bit sp3. I didn't have such problem with Firefox 3. Can somebody please help me?

When I download a file with firefox 4 Downloads Window opens but downloading file name doesn't appear there. If I keep Downloads Window open further downloads appear in it but if i close it and reopen it again it appears blank, all downloaded file names are disappeared. I tried everything, unchecked "Remember download history" box and checked it again, deleted downloads.sqlite file, even created new profile but nothing helped.

It is easy for me to explain things badly, and I can not see what you are actually doing, I will therfore try to list as steps to take.
Please confirm that you have used firefox safe mode and still see the problem, by doing the following:
# open firefox - use any profile
# use '''Firefoxbutton -> Help -> Restart with add-ons disabled'''
# you should now see an options dialogue with a list of check box options,
#*you may get a confirmation option, if so accept it
#* do you now see the listing of check boxes, with a continue button at the bottom

Problems with Ipod and Windows Media Player PLEASE HELP

Ok i am not sure if this is the correct forum or not but i am having a problem. I have a Windows computer (Yes a windows computer please dont everyone yell at me) and i have a new ipod 30 gig video. Ok well when i put itunes on it changes all my music on my computer gets changed to AAC format and i cannot play music in windows media player. Ok well that is not my big issue. I make videos for church using windows movie maker and i cannot import music because nothing windows can recognize Itunes format which is AAC. well is there anyway so i can use itunes and still use WIndows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker... Any info will be greatly appreciated. THANKS ALL

I believe Quicktime Pro (which is available for Windoze) is capable of opening any WMP files and then you just export it as iPod format. That is how I get video onto the iPod. The Music and Videos all can be placed onto your iPod through iTunes.
So, if you are creating videos in your program, and want them on your iPod, then that is how you can do it.
Videos on your iPod have nothing to do with the formatting of your music. But, as the earlier post stated, change your prefs in iTunes to import as MP3. But, your videos HAVE to be in MP4 or M4V format to work on the iPod.
