SMSY - how to maintain a newely upgraded ERP system

Hi all.
Some days ago we did an upgrade of our development and test system. As one of the last steps we did the maintenance of the SMSY. Now we are not sure if our maintenance is correct...
At first i will tell you something about the system landscape:
The new systems are ERP 6.0 with enhancement package 4 for HCM and XSS. The main use is FI and Public Sector Management. Additional we use Employee Self Service. In the past via ITS, in the future with an already not installed Enterprise Portal 7.01.

Is "EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01" the right product version for my scenario or do i still have to use ERP 6.0?
How to define the correct main instance? Can "Human capital management" be true?

I'd remove it completely from SMSY.
Then register it in SLD using tx RZ70 (ABAP) and Visual Admin (Java).
Afterwards schedule download of SLD Data in SMSY_SETUP on your SolMan.
You should get the correct information.

SMSY - How to maintain "System Name"

Hi experts,
in transaction SMSY, if you go to a Product System, in register "System Data in SAP Support Portal" there is a field "System Name".
And as far as I know, this is the field, which is displayed in SMP after synchronize right?
But where can I maintain this field?
I didn't find this in LMDB.

How to maintain tags when upgrading from PSE 5 to PSE 12?

I'm upgrading from Photoshop Elements version 5 to version 12, as my current version is not working properly. (Possibly corrupted?). It will not allow me to backup my catalog - the software freezes after a period of time during the "Reconnecting Files" stage. I'm reluctant to proceed in fear of losing the thousands of tags I have if the installation process does not go smoothly (since I don't have a backup of my catalog). Any suggestions on how to proceed?

How to Know When New Upgrade Comes Out

I have an iTouch second gen with 2.1.1. I have the same video output problem that many others have reported. Someone made the statement something like- oh well lets just hope the problem is corrected in the next update. So what I want to know is, when is the next update? How do you know when it is available and what is addressed in it? Does it cost anything to get an update? Thanks.

Itunes will notify you of an update (if you have it set to auto-check for updates). I'm also sure this forum will be buzzing minutes after a release
it's free, and it's never known when it's coming out, until it does.

SMSY define ERP system with Process Integration instance

Hello,
We have connected new installed ERP system (ERP 6.0 EHP3) to central SLD (SAP SM EHP1).
But we can see the strange situation.
SMSY define automatically this ERP system as the system with Process Integration instance but not ECC Server instance.
We have not installed Usage Type PI in the ERP system.
Also we have old ERP system in SLD. It is visible as SAP ERP system with ECC Server instance.
What is the strange behaviour of SMSY? What should we do and how can we correct this definition in SMSY?

Connection from R/3 to XI
You have to two create RFC destination (TCP/IP) LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI for the SLD connection.
Program ID will be
LCRSAPRFC_<PID>or<XID> depends on your XI Box for RFC destination LCRSAPRFC
and same for the next connection (SAPSLDAPI_<PID> or <XID>
Note: make sure you give the gateway host and gateway service of the XI sytem but not the R/3 sytem. The details you can find with TX-SMGW on the xi system.
Before testing these connections login to the VA tool on the XI system and create these destination under JCO RFC Provider and under repository make sure that you give the host name of the R/3 system as you have created the RFC connection on the R/3 server.
once these connections are successful, go with the TX-SLDAPICUST on the R/3 system and there the R/3 system should point to the XI SLD.
Go to RZ70 and run the data suppliers and register the R/3 system in the SLD
USE TCode SLDAPICUST and maintain the necessary information like Host, Port.
for RFC LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI...you hve to create this as TCPIP with PID...to find the appropriate PID for these...try to find out from the basis what they have maintained in the visual admin
login to Visual admin...click on servers....JCO connections there what is the name of the LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI use the same name...if you are not sure of this ask the basis to give exact name
once you do this run the TCODE SLDCHECK it shouls login to SLD...check SPROXY then

b) Specify the name of the RFC destination
c) Select connection type as 3 and save
d) In the technical settings tab enter the details SAP SID/URL and system number#.
e) Enter the Gateway host as same details above SID/URL.
f) Gateway service is 3300+system number#.
g) In the Logon /Security tab, enter the client user & Password details of Destination system.
h) Test the connection and remote logon.
2) Create Port (IDX1)
a) Select create new button
b) Enter the port name as SAP+SID (The starting char should be SAP)
c) Enter the destination client.
d) Enter the RFC Destination created in SAP R/3 towards other system.
e) Save
3) Load Meta Data for IDOC (IDX2)
a) Create new
b) IDOC Message Type
c) Enter port created in IDX1.
SAP R/3
1) RFC Destination (SM59)
a) Choose create.
b) Specify the name of the RFC destination
c) Select connection type as 3 and save
d) In the technical settings tab enter the details SAP SID/URL and system number#.
e) Enter the Gateway host as same details above SID/URL.

a) First Select Transactional RFC and then click create button
b) Enter the destination port name as SAP+SID (The starting char should be SAP)
c) Enter the destination client.
d) Enter the RFC Destination created in SAP R/3 towards other system.
e) Save
3) Create Partner Profile (WE20)
a) Create New
b) Create the Partner no. name as same the logical system name of the destination system.
c) Select Partner type LS
d) Enter details for Type: US/USER, Agent, and Lang.
e) Click on the + button to select the message type.
f) Select Partner no. and LS which ever create above.
g) Select Message type
h) Select Process code related to the Message type.
I) save.
In SLD System Landscape Directory
TS for R/3 (Logical system):-Assign the client name created in R/3 as Logical system Name.
Ts for Third Party (Logical system):-
BS for SAP R/3 (Logical system):- Assign the client name created in R/3 as Logical system Name.
BS for Third Party (Logical system):-Enter the XI logical system name.
In Transaction SALE
Define and Assign the logical system name.

How do I revert back to the old operating system? The new upgrade that came out totally disabled my WiFi and the default backgrounds changed to white instead of bla k.

An upgrade was sent to my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone on 3/27/15 and it ruined my phone. I no longer have the ability to Wi-Fi. When I swipe the phone on there is a clicking sound and the scree goes directly to my keypad. I want the phone to go to my home screen like it did before. My apps that had a black background now have a white background which is impossible to see outdoors. I want the black background back for settings, clock, and calculator. Samsung tech support says this stuff is default with the new upgrade. How do I revert back to the version I had before without having to put the phone back to factory settings and lose all my pictures, memos and other files I have accumulated over the last year that I have had the phone. You cannot revert back without voiding warranty and we cannot discuss the methods to do so.

They changed it a bit, but you can still close apps. Double click the Home button to pull up the currently running apps. Side scroll over to the app you want to close, then swipe up on the app *window* (not the icon at the bottom).

I downloaded the new upgrade and now my ipad is locking me out, asking for a passcode. I dont remember giving it a passcode, how can I find it or get around it?

I called Apple Support and a supervisor helped resolve this for me on my iPad. I suggest calling them for help as this is obviously an issue with the iOS 7 update - she helped me without charge. I could be missing something in my upcoming description, so do not take this as complete - call them.
I had to update iTunes on my Mac Air to the latest version, and I had an iCloud backup from the day I updated to iOS7. Have iTunes open but do NOT connect your iPad yet. Shut down the iPad. Then press/hold the Home key on the iPad while you connect the USB from the iPad to the computer (an image of the USB cable appeared on the iPad). Follow the prompts in iTunes to restore and then backup using iCloud. When the iPad rebooted again to do the backup install, I got the same pass code issue and iTunes would not recognize the iPad without entering a pass code. I disconnected the iPad, turned it off, pressed the Home key while connecting the USB cable. When I did the restore and backup from iCloud the second time, it worked without the pass code issue occurring.

1.run transaction SCC4 -> press Ctrl+F4 or the button for change ->double click one the row for your client -> on the field Cross Client Object Changes select Changes to the Repository and cross-client Customizing allowed -> SAVE
2. run MC1H and now you will have access to insert new line in the table

No answers? C'mon people, please help a guy out! There are lots of threads here about the need to turn Time Zone Support off, but none about what to do when it has already messed up all your appointments. I can't imagine I'm the only one who has been caught by this "feature" of Apple's.
