SMTP Email ..Sent items no there in Sentitems Folder

i m using SMTP email setting on my application...
If i  use a gmail account , whenever i sent an email from my application i can see it in my sent folder in GMAIL.
But, if i use my corporate account email is sending...but i could not able to find the copy of sent email in SENT ITEMS folder...
How to resolve this, expert advise is required.. please
Hai

What i did is.... i used my
company account ([email protected]) in .NET Application to send emails..
Thanks for the update. I thought you are using Outlook as your mail client in my first reply. From the quoted sentence, you are using a .NET application as your mail client rather than Microsoft Outlook. If this is the case, you may need to contact the designer
of the application for further assistance because this forum focuses on general questions and feedback related to Office 2010, and we are not familiar with the .NET application you are using.
Thank you for your understanding.

  • E72 IMAP email sent items sync broken - Tech Suppo...

After a frustrating 30 mins on the phone with a level 2 tech support and being fobbed off with an unnecessary patch for MfE I emailed tech support
“i have an imap email account with GMX set up on my e72 using nokia messaging.  it sends and receives email fine.  however, any email sent from my phone goes into the sent items folder on my phone, but not into the sent items on my email account.  there is no option to tell the phone which folder to use as the sent items folder”
    The reply was
“In response to your concern, please be advised that the phone's function to save your sent email to the phone's sent items folder and not on the email sent item folder is a default setting which cannot be altered.“
Brilliant eh?  I have asked if there will be a fix in future firmware, but no response.  This is a serious issue for anyone using the E72 for email.

This is not the iPhoto forum. In any case in iPhoto>Preferences select Mail or whatever email program you are using to email as the desired choice. You are probably sending directly through iPhoto.

  • IOS4 update wiped email sent items!

    Nice one Apple, NOT!
You backup your phone and make sure your app purchases are synched to iTunes and off you go with the upgrade — only to find that afterwards all your read pop emails are now marked unread and all your smtp sent items have been wiped!
NOT HAPPY, would gladly have transferred them all to the inboxes (to marry in to the conversation view) if I'd been warned they would vanish! Or did I blink and miss it in the mountain of T&Cs?
Anyone ever had to restore? Can I get them back by rolling back it OS3 then moving the messages before I upgrade again?

Email account mailboxes and messages are not included with your iPhone's backup. Not sure, but I believe all email accounts are recreated. When first creating a POP account with any email client, all received messages that remain at the incoming mail server are downloaded as new and unread messages regardless if you are accessing the account with an email client on your computer and have already downloaded and read the same messages with an email client on your computer, and sent messages are not available when doing so since sent messages are not stored on the server with a POP account. Not an issue when creating or recreating an IMAP account since all server stored mailboxes and messages within with an IMAP account remain at the server, and sent messages with an IMAP account can be stored on the server.

  • Can't access 6230i email sent items

    Hi
I have used the email facility on my phone for over 6 months and no problem. It got a bit full, so i deleted some messages and moved all the ones i wanted to keep to archive (from send and inbox). I send a few messages and now i can not access my sent items. I get an error stop screen. I looked into it further and found this error when trying to manage the folder.
    I get the following error:
    "out of memory error java/lang/outofmemoryerror"
I have tried deleting more messages but it does nothing.
I have used 87% of the storage, but this was at 92% or more before it broke.
Is there anything anyone can suggest to rectify the problem but without me loosing all my emails on the phone?
It is just going to come to the point where the sent items is full and i can not delete them off it and won't be able to use my email at all.
    Thanks

  • SMTP Email via JSP - is there no tag already?

I intend to send an email as part of a JSP page, but searches on the internet and within these forums have resulted in scriptlets or java application examples.
Is there not a simple tag that I can consider using instead? I do not want to mix code with my JSP and will probably write a custom JSP tag if I cant find one that has already been created - as part of JSTL / apache / someone reputable?
It's hard not to compare this to PHP whereby they have some sort of simple sendmail call - very straight forward if I recall.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Rob.

There is certainly no need to write Java code in JSP files.
Comparing PHP with JSP makes no sense. JSP is a web view technology for Java and PHP is a hypertext processor written in C.

  • Sent items don't appear in folder 'sent items' in Applemail (IMAP)

    Dears,
My Apple mail is configured to be used with the IMAP-protocol (I use Belgacom Skynet here in Belgium). Everything works fine, except there is a very inconvenient situation that my sent-items "disappear": they dont pop-up in the folder  "sent-items". To be clear: mail get sent away- that is verified, but they aren't stored.
I searched the Apple forums already and noticed this is- unfortunatelyagain - a problem that happens frequently. The best I coudl find is creating a rule and BCC the mails to your inbox....
Also marking the sent-items folder on the server (via menu "use this postbox for sent-items) does not solve the problem.
    Many thanks,
    Peter

Check Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Mail behaviors section
as well if your mail provider supports web mail - check its settings, you may have some rules to move sent mail to another folder, delete it etc...

  • Q5 Email Sent Items Not Showing on Phone or Laptop Outlook

    Hi,
Bought a Q5 2 days ago. Previously had 9790 which was great. Had a number of IMAP email accounts and when I sent an email it showed as a ticked message on my phone and placed an unread copy in my laptop outlook account. Q5 does not do this. Also even though I have ticked for all folders to sync it does not work. No messages synced. Can anyone help please?

    Hey
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Can you please confirm if the accounts are now setup on the BlackBerry Q5 smartphone as IMAP? I know you indicated you had a number of accounts using IMAP on your 9790. However I am curious to see if they are IMAP on the BlackBerry Q5 smartphone.

  • ICloud email "sent" but isn't in any folder.

    Hello All,
A few hours ago, I sent an email through my me.com account. It showed as sent, so I thought nothing of it. A little while ago, I was going to forward
the message to a friend, but could not find it in my sent folder or drafts. I've tried everything I can think of to try to recover the message, but the account has no record I ever created the message to begin with. Am I just out of luck or is there a way to recover my recent drafts?
    Thanks in advance.

You probably can't get it back, but you might want to go to your Mail on icloud.com, click the gear icon on the lower left and choose Preferences, then on the General tab make sure you have checked in the Mailboxes section to save sent messages in your sent folder.

  • Outlook 2010 not saving Sent emails in Sent Items Folder

This problem does not exist on this forum.  Using Outlook 2010 (V 14.0.7106.5001 (64-bit) on Windows 7 64-bit with three accounts: 1 account is Gmail and 2 accounts are IMAP.  The IMAP accounts inexplicably stopped saving Sent emails.  The
Gmail account still saves the Sent emails.
    Tried already:
    1. Changing the Sent Items setting from Save on folder on computer to Save on server and then changed back to the way it was, which is correct.
    2. Created a new profile and entered the email settings.  Still no sent mails being saved.
    3. Ran Outlook repair.  No luck.
Not sure where to go with this next.  Never have run into a problem like this before.

    Hi,
Please make sure you have the emails sent to the recipients successfully, if not, the emails may be saved to other folders if you have the following setting:
File tab -> Options -> Mail -> If you checked
Automatically save items that have not been sent after this many minutes,
Save to this folder, you may have your emails stored in the selected folder if the emails are not sent successfully.
Please visit the Webmail site, could you find the sent items there?
Try Reset View, then try to search for the sent emails by keywords in Advanced Find, can you find the emails?
    Kindly check the following settings:
File tab -> Options -> Mail
-> under Save messages, make sure you have checked Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder
If none of the above helps, feel free to contact me again.

  • Missing sent items

    Hi,
One of our users can't send mail, he composes one, clicks send and it looks like it has sent, however, there is no record of the sent mail in the sent items and there is no notification that the email failed. The recpient also does not receive the mail. I'm at a loss as to what it could be.
He is running Apple Mail in Tiger.

forgot to say, he's connecting to Exchange 2003 using Imap via a local network.

  • SMTP email attachments

    Hi all,
There have been a few discussions on the list about sending fairly
straightforward emails from SMTP. Has anyone tried sending attachments?
I have a requirement to send quite large attachments ( upto 15Mb ),
some of the files will be zipped. Does anyone have any idea how to do this
and has anyone had any problems sending files of this size through a
    Forte SMTP link?
Thanks in advance for any advice,

Yes, you have to encode them (like base64) into a ASCII text, and then
attached them to your DATA part in SMTP. It is not very complicated,
    and why
wouldn't it work through Forte SMTP link? Though it goes through Forte
    it
still is SMTP. More about that you can find in the following RFC's:
    RFC 821 - for SMTP
    RFC 2045 - for attachments
    Good luck, hope it helps.

    Dylan
I have sent SMTP mail, but not through Forte. My understanding isthat
    the
client software, in this case Forte, will have to present theattachment
    to
SMTP as embedded text (i.e. a stream of text), formatted properly tolook
    like an attachment.
If this is zipped data, then you will also have to encode it in MIMEor
BIN/HEX format to ensure that it is transmitted properly. I do notknow
    the
    algorithm for this.
I have only ever sent plain text files as attachements. I haveincluded
    pre
and post amble strings from my own routine. I think that there is
    probably
some redundant information in these strings, but they work, so Ihave left
    them alone.
If you can understand them, the RFCs for SMTP will explain all ofthis.

This is the preamble message that you have to embed before you sendthe
file: Note that $3 referes to the actual filename attached.
    MIME-Version: 1.0
    Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="=#=#=#=#=88=#="
    X-Mozilla-Status: 0001
This is a multi-part message in MIME format
    --=#=#=#=#=88=#=
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
    --=#=#=#=#=88=#=
    Content-Type: text/plain; name="$3"
    Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="$3"
    This is the postamble text

  • Is there a fix to stop email on a iphone locking up when searching sent items on IOS6

Is there a fix to stop the email locking up when searching sent items on IO6

Maybe I am confused on what is happening. Your doing a search in the Spotlight Or in Email?
What email? icloud, hotmail, yahoo etc.?

  • IPhone email not being sent but not in Sent Items or Outbox Folder

When I press send on an e-mail on my iPhone, the e-mail often disappears completely. It does not attempt to send, and is not in the Sent Items or Outbox Folder.
This has happened on a number of occasions on Microsoft Exchange accounts at work and I definitely had a full 3G/4G signal. Iphone IOS is up to date.
You would think that if it didn't send the message then it would be in the Outbox until you get a signal and then it would send it?
But no it just completely disappears.
Does anyone know of a fix?
    Stevie

So I've been doing more tests. Maybe this will help diagnose a little more:
The users email is appearing in workgroup manager under /Info / Email Address.
I have changed the audience workflow property to one of my test email addresses - the message sends to the audience correctly.
I have modified a workflow and changed to $$User Email Address>> to explicitly be an email as opposed to the variable - the email was sent to the user, but the user's name was not in the email header. Instead it displayed the same as before: [email protected], , [email protected] I also looked at the results in the xgridagentd log under the console and the address showed up correct there.
If I do not explicitly put an email in as $$User Email Address>> the xgridagentd log shows something as follows:
    Mon Feb 25 09:38:17 server.school.edu xgridagentd[43] : Notice: agent task "9964" started for user "podcastxgrid" executable "/usr/bin/pcastaction" arguments (\n mail,\n "--basedir=/Shared Items/Podcasts/Recordings/FD5ED310-A75B-45F2-8BC6-83F0D9F123AF",\n "--from=",\n "--to=[email protected],,[email protected]",\n "--smtp=smtp-auth.school.edu",\n "--body_file=mail.txt"\n)
    Mon Feb 25 09:38:18 leo.gac.edu xgridagentd[43] : Notice: agent task "9964" finished for user "podcastxgrid" executable "/usr/bin/pcastaction" arguments (\n mail,\n "--basedir=/Shared Items/Podcasts/Recordings/FD5ED310-A75B-45F2-8BC6-83F0D9F123AF",\n "--from=",\n "--to=[email protected],,[email protected]",\n "--smtp=smtp-auth.school.edu",\n "--body_file=mail.txt"\n)
Notice that the from and to are blank.
I am using an external SMTP server, which we already have running and at least seems to be sending to whoever I explicitly list. It seems like the $$User Email Address>> variable is not getting any info.
Let me know if you have any ideas! Any other logs to check?
Thank you to any ideas. I am stumped!

  • Why when I email photos from iPhoto do they not show in my sent items in my mail ?

Why when I email photos from iPhoto using the share option does the email not show up in my sent items box in Mail. The emails are arriving ok but I do not have a record of the email being sent. Bit confused. I am new to my iMac .

If you are using the iPhoto email client there is no sent mail box
My suggestion is to set Mail as your email client and then you have everythin in Mail and have a sent mail box
