SMTP mail are triggering

Hai, i configured SMTP on SP2010 and now im not using it but some of my friends are using the server and mails are triggered on my email, how could i stop this.
NOTE: i cant access the SP2010 server.

The email address that is used in the "From" field is completely disconnected from your user account. It is a text property that can be set to literally anything in the world. There is nothing that you can do as a user without changing that text property
in Central Administration or changing your email address.

I am using OSX Yosemite 10.10.2 and today when i switched on my Mac all my smtp severs in Apple Mail are gone. I can still receive emails but i cannot send. Any help would be appreciated. Without putting them back manually is there any way to get them back and prevent this from happening again?

Mail queue is vacant. I think the problem is with the process. No process or validations are working. Actually, I have copied this application from another schema. Is there is need to set anything?..I had regenerated all the tables,functions,triggers in my schema .Processes and validations are completely inactive

Cannot send email through yahoo on iPad 4, apple.smtp.mail.yahoo not available as of December 1, 2012

I am unable to send emails through yahoo on my ipad 4 wifi, just starting over the weekend. My 3 other non-yahoo email accounts are working fine on my ipad. When I try to send an email from the yahoo account, I receive the message that the connection to the outgoing mail server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo" failed. I can send email through yahoo just fine on the web and on my computer through Thunderbird.

Yahoo's been having persistently random issues for months. You can try just waiting it out, or delete and readd your yahoo account. When my accounts were affected I just used webmail to access my yahoo accounts until it cleared up.
Chances are it's all on their end and really all you can do is wait it out.

Previously we are able to send the mails from SAP to Outside World. After chaning the Mail Server to MS Exchange 2003
We enabled the Port the 25.
We are facing a problem While configuring a mail via SMTP for Exchange Server 2003.
Throws an Error Message:
Internal error: CL_SMTP_RESPONSE ESMTP error code is not known. 554 554 > : Recipient add
As per network Team :
Unless we provide a Username and password, the Send/Receive process does not happen.
Is there any option in SAP - SMTP Mail Configuration to Provide user and password Authentication.
I searched in SDN as well as in market place. but i could not succeed. Please guide me the process.

Diagnosis
The message was processed successfully in the SAP system. The mail server that is to receive the message for further processing requires authentication. Probably there is no logon data specified in the SAPconnect configuration.
Information from external system (if available)
smtp.gmail.com:587
530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. i91sm11178241qgd.25 - gsmtp
Procedure
Enter the logon data in the SAPconnect node.
Using Gmail SMTP server using "smtp.gmail.com" with port 587

Work flow mails are not coming to inbox but coming to out box in quality

Hello,
We are working on the implementation of Work flow for Purchase orders.
Work flow customization is completed and even work flow is triggering when ever I create Purchase Order.
Even Agent assignment also completed for work flow tasks via T code PTFC_CHG.
This work flow is working fine in development.
When I moved this workflow to quality I got a problem.
Problem here is Work flow mails are not processing out of SAP Outbox to approvers inbox even also after executing the program RSWUWFML2.
When I triggered the PO in development the work item is moved to SAP out box as well as inbox. In quality It is not coming to SAP inbox.
If I check in SOST,I will not see any of the entries related to work flow mails.
Only above I can see in my SAP Outbox.
So how can I Process these messages to approvers SAP Inbox.
Any body please help me where the problem is

Hi SP,
I may be wrong, but on reading ur thread, I feel u r mis interpreting SAP Outbox with Outlook.
Is it so, because u have mentioned about RSWUWFML2 and SOST, which comes into picture only if u r using an external mail like Outlook.
If its Outlook, then there is no doubt that ur work item would get deleted from SAP Inbox and would be present only in Outlook.
If its SAP Outbox, then u r not supposed to get ur work item in ur Outbox unless it is processed or executed thru ur SAP Inbox.

AV/AS configuration - external mails are not getting scanned

I am configuring AV/AS for MS 7.
My local mails are going through the AV/AS. Logs shows that, however for external domains - gmail, yahoo....etc...its not going trhough AV/AS.
what am I missing?

Did you remember to run ./imsimta cnbuild;./imsimta restart after making the modifications?yes..always...
Also I would recommend creating a dedicated SCAN_POOL so any slow down in the AV/AS scanner doesn't impact tcp_local/tcp_intranet delivery.yes I have

Mails are not received

Hi you experts,
I have a problem with sending, better receiving Mails vom SAP. I send mails from SAP System to an SMTP-Mail-Address.
I´checked in transaction SCOT, that the mails are send, but i dont't receive them?
In SAP System the status is "Mail is send to ...@..."
It's only in one System, in the other systems they are send and come in my Mailbox.

This might be Cache also , Can you try this.
a)Start transaction SXI_CACHE.
b)From the context menu XI Runtime Cache select Start Complete Cache Refresh.
If you still face issue try this .
Many actions require to access System Landscape Directory content from the Integration Builder. To optimize performance, this content is loaded into a cache so that the System Landscape Directory does not have to be accessed directly each time that System Landscape Directory content is required.
However, this cache is not automatically updated if changes are made to the content of the System Landscape Directory. For this reason that we delete the System Landscape Directory cache if changes have been made to content in the System Landscape Directory. The cache is then filled each time that the System Landscape Directory is accessed. If we log on to the Integration Builder after we have made a change in the SLD, we do not need to delete the SLD cache.
To clear the SLD cache, from the Integration Builder main menu, choose Environment ® Delete Cache for SLD Data.
Once we have deleted the cache for SLD data, accessing objects in the SLD may take longer than usual initially.

Mail: Proper way to adjust IMAP/SMTP mail server entries?

Please forgive, but I am still on 10.4 (Tiger) with an iCloud mail account. I believe this is still a widely applicable and helpful question!
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server):
     MINE IS STILL:      mail.me.com (Currently still working fine)
     Advised/required:     imap.mail.me.com
SMTP (Outgoing mail server):
     MINE IS STILL:          smtp.me.com (Currently still working fine)
     Advised/required:      smtp.mail.me.com
QUESTION 1: To have the server entries set properly, can I simply make textual changes in the Incoming/Outgoing server name fields for my IMAP iCloud mail account (via insert of word "mail" in server names; change is not shown here)...
...or should one DELETE IMAP ACCOUNT (as I have commonly read!) and recreate with all new correct settings? If it is advisable to Delete the account, why wouldn't just making the quick server name adjustments be sufficient?
Also, I need some fears assuaged:
- "Deleting an IMAP mail account" in Mail has no risk/danger of losing/deleting all of your Sent and Received Inbox/Sentbox contents, correct? When you recreate an Account, all of your mail held on server is still fully safe and accessible, yes?
ISSUE TWO:
I like to use both my "me.com" and "mac.com" email addresses.
Under "Edit (Outgoing) Server List," I still have a secondary older entry "smtp.mac.com" listed.
QUESTION 2: Is the following statement of my understanding accurate?
"Deletion of the smtp.mac.com outgoing server is completely acceptable and would not prohibit sending of email under mac.com email address because the "mac.com" email address is an alias for the me.com address and ALL mail (whether sent with mac.com or me.com email address) goes out through the ME.COM server."
Is that correct. If not, kindly advise!

Note: If you receive errors using SSL, try using TLS instead.

Mails are in Waiting status in SOST

During production monitoring the mails in SOST transaction were in waiting Status.

yesterday around 3 o' clock in the noon mails were in waiting status and around 6 o'clock in the evening those mails were sent.
Issue could be related with your organization Mail system at specific time mentioned which you configured under SAP SCOT,exact could tell after specific message error in SOST.

Adding an SMTP mail server to an existing Weblogic server on Windows 7

I need to send e-mail from pl/sql, using UTL_MAIL, but my google searches don't find how to add an SMTP mail server to my pc.
I have found that Microsoft offers IIS but I think the SMTP server could be part of Weblogic?

Sure, all you need to do is install the server with the mailbox role (and other roles, if you want), configure whatever mailbox databases you want on it (and configure the other roles you have added), then put mailboxes on it.
Some advice - do not use the GUI for the installation because it will install default mailbox and public folder databases. If you use the setup.com (the text-based installation), you can control databases. We had to rebuild a server once and
the engineer assisting us had us use the GUI and we ended up with a public folder database, which we had to remove (since we have no public folders in our organization).
Once you have the new server installed, you can either create new mailboxes on it, or you can move existing mailboxes from your other databases to it. With the Exchange 2010 move mailbox commands, this is a very simple process.
BTW, when you get around to removing your P2V'ed system(s), make sure you handle any CAS virtual servers (OWA, ECP, OAB) and ensure they are hosted on a server that will remain. You could end up painting yourself into a corner if you don't.

SMTP Mail Feed

Ok I have a little problem that I'm hoping somenone would kindly help with!
• We currently have a Xserve 2009 running our company emails on
• We use Easily for our domain name registration
• We use EASYNET for our website hosting AND SMTP mail feed
Basically we want to cancel our hosting and SMTP feed with EASYNET and go to anothr host but they don't supply SMTP mail feeds.
Does anyone know what I can do in order to get a new host for our SMTP emails?
Is there anything we can do on the Xserve that will help us or does anyone know of a company that offers JUST an option of having an SMTP feed?
Any help would be amazing of you.

Mails are sent from wron account

Hi,
My iPad is set up with two email accounts (both from Google; one Gmail and one Google Apps). When I send mail, the from address is always the same no matter which account I set as default. The compose screen shows the correct account but the mail is still sent from a specific account.
This is not confined to Mail; it also happens when sharing stuff from Safari, Photos (which is Mail at the end of the day).
I don't have this problem on my iPhone which uses the same accounts and Apple ID.
For what it's worth: The iPad is only a few weeks old and was restored from an iCloud backup.

Well, it doesn't use the standard account. It uses the same account no matter what I set as standard account. Also, when sending mail, the from address is set to the address I wish to use, but it still ends up as sent from the other account.
I just tested sending from Mail again a few times. Mails are sent from the wrong account no matter what I do. Even if I open the mailbox of the account I want to use, mails are still sent from the other account.
I was wondering if it could have anything to do with SMTP and both accounts being hosted by Google. I checked the SMTP settings for both accounts and they are set up to use distinctive SMTP settings. No logins are shared or anything.

SMTP Mail send confirmation

Im trying to build a program which checks SMTP mail setup is correctly done or not using a single user account.
So the program will send message to the same account and check if the user credentials, network connectivity etc. are correctly set.
I will be using following method,
SMTPTransport.sendMessage(message,Address[]) method throws following exceptions,
SMTPSendFailedException - if the send failed because of an SMTP command error
SendFailedException - if the send failed because of invalid addresses.
MessagingException - if the connection is dead or not
My query is,
If none of the above exceptions are thrown, is it guaranteed for all providers, that the mail has reached MTA or mail server queue?
or
Do i need to create a thread to do a IMAP query on INBOX folder for the message, which was sent and then i can compare MessageID to confirm that the setup and connectivity is all well set?

Guarantees are few and far between in the email world.
If you don't get an exception, the mail server has accepted the message.
Depending on the quality of the mail server, it may or may not guarantee
anything after that.
While this is supposed to be true for all Transport providers, there aren't many
providers beyond Sun's SMTP provider.
And of course accepting the message doesn't guarantee it will be delivered
to the mailbox you expect, or anywhere for that matter.

Smtp mail configuration

I'm trying to configure my exchange server to work with SugarCRM. SugarCRM is asking for smtp mail server information. and, I know my mail server address, but I'm not sure how to configure my exchange server or check to make sure the appropriate

Please try to telnet the exchange server ip from the sugarCRM application . If it happens successfully just try to send an test email to anyone of the exchange recipient in our oraganization from the sugarCRM application via telnet command .
Note : You should have to send an email to internal recipient otherwise exchange will not allow .Because basically exchange server will have receive connector closed for open relay .If you wanted to send email to the external recipient like gmail or yahoo
you need to create a new receive connector and you have to open an relay for an particular ip address of sugarCRM application .
Sometimes application servers will have two network adapters .So on that scenario please check the respective ip address added on the exchange server receive connector is an primary ip address for sugarCRM application server .
