Snapchat push notifications in iOS7

When I open apps especially snapchat the connect to itunes to enable push notifications window continues to pop up and I can't use the app.  I've updated itunes and signed in to my account and everything but the problem has not gone away, any ideas?

Current coming corona, appcelerator ... To support such a manner that already. In fact, if this thing would not you support flash cs5 came in last year when I do not think we have differences. Just bumping UI components in flex, except that the

  • Why push notifications work in my iOS6 app but not in iOS7?

    I'm having problems with push notifications in iOS7.
    I have developed an application for iOS6 and push notifications works very well. But, when I put that app in a iOS7 device, it doesn't run.
    But something very strange happen. If I use Development key, my iOS7 device can receive push, but with Production key, It can't.
    I can get my devide token for push but it is not able to receive anything.
    Any idea?
    This is my code:
    Appdelegate.m
        - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions
            // PUSH-CODE
            [[UIApplication sharedApplication] registerForRemoteNotificationTypes:(UIRemoteNotificationTypeBadge | UIRemoteNotificationTypeSound | UIRemoteNotificationTypeAlert)];
        // PUSH-CODE
        - (void)application:(UIApplication *)application didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken:(NSData *)deviceToken
            NSString *token = [[deviceToken description] stringByTrimmingCharactersInSet:      [NSCharacterSet characterSetWithCharactersInString:@"<>"]];
            token = [token stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString:@" " withString:@""];
            NSLog(@"Token: %@", token);
            [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] setObject:token forKey:@"deviceToken"];
            [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] synchronize];
        - (void)application:(UIApplication *)application didFailToRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithError:(NSError *)error
            NSLog(@"Failed to get token, error: %@", error);

    I might be insane but try replacing the path tunnels with a Shift register.
    Yes, Jeff, you are insane.  But that has nothing to do with LabVIEW.
    I fully agree that you should be using shift registers for the fields that need passed through as well as the error cluster.  But I don't see anything here that would cause issues.

  • IOS7 - Message "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications"

    Since upgrading to the iOS7 on my iPhone, I keep getting the message "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications" in certain applications, and I cannot cancel out of this message as it continually pops up. The only way I can exit the app is by shutting down the phone and restarting it.
    I am also experiencing difficulties connnecting to iMesssage. In Settings, iMessage:  there is a message that says "Waiting for activation" and when I "Use my Apple ID to sign in" I get the message "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again" but my network connection is fine because I can access Safari.
    PLEASE HELP. This is extrememly frustrating.

  • HT201210 Since my update to IOS7 all my apps say that I have to go to itunes for push notifications. What? I cant find that option anywhere, and I am ready to push this phone through an open window.

    Please HELP ME !! Ever since I updated my phone to the IOS7 it has not allowed me to have push notifications on any apps. It states that I must go to itunes to get push notifications.  However, I go to itunes on my phone it is just the store, I go on my computer it just shows what apps I have.  This is beyond frustrating.

    Hey Chapup,
    First, I would try this and see if it applies to your situation:
    To use certain services, iTunes must download and install an authentication token on the device. Because iPad and iPod touch do not require an active Internet connection to activate, these tokens may not be downloaded and installed during initial setup.
    You can resolve this issue by verifying that iTunes has an active Internet connection. Use the following steps:
    Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
    Verify that your Mac or PC has an active Internet connection by accessing the iTunes Store in iTunes.
    Connect your iPad or iPod touch to your Mac or PC.
    After the sync completes, verify you can access YouTube.
    Note: iTunes 9.1 or later is required when using iPad.
    via: iPad and iPod touch: Unable to use YouTube or Push notifications
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3305
    And if that doesn't resolve the issue then I would backup the device to iTunes and restore it. Just be cautious and back up first, since restoring deletes all content and settings:

    I upgraded to ios7 on my iphone 4s and now many of my apps are prompting me to connect to itunes for push notifications. In most cases, i can just click ok to this prompt and carry on, but it is still a real nuisance. However with the app dropbox and find my phone, I can not get out of the prompt. I have to reboot my phone to be able to use it again. Any suggestions?

  • Why won't my push notifications for the app snapchat work after yesterday's iOS update?

    After yesterday's update the app snapchat won't send me push notifications anymore

    Hello Nhuphham,
    It sounds like you are not receiving your Snapchat notifications on your iPhone.  I found an article with steps that might help with this:
    Additional Information
    If you have an app that could send frequent notifications (for example, Mail with high-traffic email accounts, Twitter apps, and so on), your iOS device could wake frequently to display the notification (and affect battery life). You can disable "View in Lock Screen" for a particular app in Settings > Notifications > <app name>.
    Troubleshooting notifications
    Push notifications require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If you are not receiving notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
    Verify that the app supports notifications.
    After installing an app or restoring a backup to a different iOS device, open the app at least once to begin receiving notifications.
    If the app requires entering or logging in to an account, you will need to do this before receiving notifications.
    Check Settings > Notifications to ensure that the app is configured for notifications.
    If notifications do not appear only in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.
    If you are still unable to receive notifications and you are using a Wi-Fi connection, verify that the network or firewall is not blocking access to port 5223.
    You can find the full article here:
    iOS: Understanding Notifications
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3576
    If you are still not receiving the notifications for Snapchat after following those steps, I recommend continuing with the steps in the following article:

  • App testing phase: Push notifications are not getting delivered to certain devices (iphone 4S/ios7.0.4 and ios7.0.3 - Push never worked for these two devices for this app). Received OK responses from Apple PUSH services, but notifications not delivered

    We are testing an app at work and Push notifications are not getting delivered to certain devices (iphone 4S/ios7.0.4 and ios7.0.3 - Push never worked for these two devices for this app). Received OK responses from Apple PUSH services, but notifications not delivered to these tow devices.
    PUSH notification were delivered to some of the other iOS devices: (iPhone5 / iOS 6.1.4 and iPhone5 / iOS 7.0.3)

    Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
    If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
    BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
    Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
    Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call?  You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
    Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

  • IOS7 push notification bug resets all apps to no notification

    It's the third time I get this bug on ios7. What happens is that out of the blue all push notification settings stop working and everytime I open an app it asks me if I want to allow push notifications. When this happens the battery is drained lot faster and I have to reset the phone to factory settings to get things working fine again. I have an Iphone 4 16gb with latest ios7 build.

    It happened again yesterday. The phone died on battery and when I powered it on boom!! Every app now asked to allow for push notifications. I have a theory, as I was receiving messages on whatsapp before the phone died maybe what happens is if the phone is powered off while receiving a notification then this mess happens. I'll try to replicate.

  • IOS7 push notification failure?

    Hey all -
    Has anyone here run into an issue with ios7 regarding push notifications? I published an issue yesterday and hit the Notify button. One of our people got the notification on his iPad, running ios6. Another, running ios7, did not.
    Anyone here encounter this?

    Yes, I get the badge on Newsstand. I also get the new issue "indicator" in the Newsstand shelf. Note that the indicator on iOS 7 has changed from a sash icon over the cover to a faint blue dot underneath the app icon. I find it very difficult to find when scanning the Newsstand shelf, but I also have three pages of apps in Newsstand ;-)
