SNC Integration

Hi,
I am into new project right now....where I need to develop interfaces from SAP to SNC vice versa.
Can anybody share their experiences with SNC integration?
Whats the major difference between....Normal XI scenario than SNC integration.
-Esha

Nadh,
SNC integration would be the same as you do to a normal integration. The only difference is in a normal integration you have to built your own data types, message types etc.
But for SNC there is a predefined content given by SAP. So you can use them directly. Also they have predefined mappings where you can use them directly if you are using a standard messages. If their is customizations then you may need to change according to your requirements.
Check sap help link in the above reply which may give you an idea. If you have any specific question then post it here, somebody may help you.

  • APO - SNC integration

    Hi All,
    We have activated both the BF's SCM_APO_DISTR_REC & SCM_SNC_GEN_1. We have mapped the Proact_Out to Proact_In to receive demand from APO system to SNC system. We are using /SAPAPO/PROACT_OUT - Send Demand Data to send Deamd from APO system to SNC.
    But when we receive Proact_In message from SAP XI system into SNC sysetm it remains in scheduled status. The message does not get processed.
    Are we missing any SNC setting to receive the Forecast in SNC from APO?
    Thanks
    Gaurav

    Hi Gaurav Gupta
    Were you able to fix this issue ? We are also facing the same issue with APO SNC integration. PROACT_In messages are stuck in scheduled status.
    Please let me know how did you fix it.
    THanks,

  • ASN Config for SNC Integration

    Hi All,
      I am currently working on SNC 7.0 integration with ECC system.Our scenario has to be designed like this.
    PI will be hosting a Webservice on the external partner and they will generate the ASN and the generated ASN will be routed to the SNC system.From there it will be routed to the backend ECC system.
    I am aware that for routing the ASN from SNC to ECC we have the standard mapping available between Despatch delivery notification and DESADV.DELVRY03 in the standard SNC SWCV.
    But for PI hosting the webservice,is there any standard WSDL for ASN config available?If it is available what is the corresponding Service interface and Operation Mapping?Please guide me on the same.
    Incase there are no standard WSDLs available for ASN config in the service registry how can PI host the Webservice?
    By default will there be any standard WSDLs publised in Service registry?
    When we import a Standard SWCV will the WSDL get imported in Service registry automatically?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sowmya

  • CFolder and SNC Integration

    Hi Experts,
    We are integrating cFolder with SAP SNC (Supply Network Collaboration) application. Both SNC and cFolder application are installed on the same server. We have activated cFolder within SNC application. As per SAP help, we have not added any RFC destination for cFodler as it is on the same server as SNC.
    Now when I try to open cFolder link from SNC application, it throws an exception
                 "Error in CFX Call: An exception occurred that was not caught."
    I checked ST22 for the error and found that the application is not able to find cFolder URL. It is failing at below code:
                 get relative ERL
                 e_url = cl_cfx_fol_ui =>get_url_for_fol(
                         icol_id        = l_col_id_str
                         i_area_id   = l_area_id_str
                         i_topic_id  = i_topic_id_str
                         i_role         =  ' ' ).
    I can see that relative collaboration folders are created in cFolder. cFolder application when opened directly from SE80 is opening properly. So it is evident that SNC is able to communicate with cFolder and also able to create collaboration folder. However, when the cFolder window is opening, it fails.
    Request you to please help on how to solve this issue.

    Hi,
    The DP & SNC cannot be integrated on the fly, SAP also does not give the option to enable the integration. Technically APO & SNC use two different databases. If there is a need there has to be custom development to achieve this.
    There are numerous ways to achieve this using custom development. One possibility is download the keyfigures (forecast) & convert to the XML message (confirming the XML format required for SNC)  then upload them using the SAP standard interface using SPROXY transaction. Now you can see the forecast data of DP in SNC.

  • Steps: SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration) Integration with ECC through XI

    Hi,
    Has anyone worked on the SNC(Supplier Network Collaboration) integration with SAP ECC via SAP XI.
    Could you pls share any documentation related to this. And also could anybody tell me the setup required to go ahead with the integration.
    Thanks,
    S

    Hi Xavier,
    SNC integration with XI has predefined mappings. So ask your basis guys to download the XI content for SNC using with PI. Once they deployed you will have a builtin predefined content in XI. Within the predefined content mostly they all are xsl mappings.
    If your requirement is with the standard idocs then you can use them directly. Else if their is customization they you may need to change the mappings according to your requirements.
    Also check this help:

  • SNC-cFolder integration pointers needed

    Hi All,
    We have followed the steps given in SAP SNC integration with cFolder from help.sap.com but still we are facing issues for cFolder activation, it will be great if anyone can share pointers or a document as reference for this integration.
    We have installed SNC as well as cFolder on same server.
    Best Regards,
    Avinash

    is this not possible through SAP PI 7.11 for handling tockenization, authorization and settlement operations of credit card?
    Yes, it is possible.
    How we can eliminate the logging of credit card details at PI?
    You can schedule the deletion of PI messages for this interface on a daily basis.
    Also, you can restrict the authorization for users to check the details of messages in PI monitoring.
    Let us know what exactly is your requirement, may be you can use the various message and transport level security that PI provides.

  • SAP SNC: Invoice Collaboration

    Scenario:
    The vendor creates a paper invoice, scans it and sends it to the customer. The customer scans it and using softwares like Readsoft/Opentext posts it in SAP ERP.
    Question:
    Can SNC possibly have a role here? How will SNC work with paper invoice? Can Readsoft/Opentext be eliminated without eliminating paper invoice?
    Rgds
    Alok Srivastava

    Hi Alok,
    Supplier can use SNC invoice collaboration if they want to use if they don't want to use then Supplier can use C-folder functionality with SNC integration in which they can upload scan copy of invoice.
    SAP cFolders is an optional application that you can install and use together with SAP SNC. For more information about the integration of cFolders and SAP SNC, see the SAP SNC documentation. For more information about SAP cFolders functions, see the SAP cFolders documentation on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com then go to   SAP Business Suite then go to   SAP Project and Portfolio Mgmt  then go to  SAP cProject Suite  .
    Let me know for any clarification.

    Hi Abhishek,
    Any example scenario do you about this model. I will explain our scenario situation, please give me your idea.
    We are doing Customer colloboration on SNC 7.0 with PI 7.11. Everyday customer sales files almost 100 comes individually EDI messages comes in EDI flat file, there is intermediate company will conver EDI flat file into xml messages. This xml file has got first 5 tags header information and the rest 50 to 100 lin items. This kind of header and lin information 3 to 5 messages per one xml.
    EX:  <RooT>
               <OUTPUT> -- 0..unbound
                  <Header-1>   --- 0..1
                  <Header-2>  ---  0..1
                  <Line -1>     0..n
                  <Line -7>     0..n
                       <ZA>      0..1
                       <ZA>      0..1
                  <Trailer>        0..1
    This is the structure. We need to populate all this customer information into Product Activity Notification on SNC 1..1.
    Could you please give me your ideas and recommandations.
    Many thanks for your help & effort.

  • CFolder Integration with SNC

    Hi Experts,
    We are integrating cFolder with SAP SNC (Supply Network Collaboration) application.
It is failing at below code:
    get relative ERL
    e_url = cl_cfx_fol_ui =>get_url_for_fol(
    icol_id = l_col_id_str
    i_area_id = l_area_id_str
    i_topic_id = i_topic_id_str
    i_role = ' ' ).

  • SNC(SCM) Integration

    Hello Everyone,
    Has anyone worked on the SNC(Supplier Network Collaboration) integration with SAP ECC via SAP XI.
    Could you pls share any documentation related to this. And also could anybody tell me the setup required to go ahead with the integration.
    Thanks,
    Chinna
    Edited by: Chinna Reddy on May 22, 2008 8:42 PM

    Hi,
    For SNC PI (XI) is mandatory for integration. From an arhcitectural point of view please see tha following documentation:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_snc2007/helpdata/EN/46/8bfc3d336f71bde10000000a1553f6/content.htm
    For more specific documentation on integration and how to set it up please have a look under the following place:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_snc2007/helpdata/EN/44/b7eb9b3648112ce10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
    I think this you need to start here and then go further into your questions to be able to answer.

  • Integration of SNC to XI

    Hi .
    We have recently installed Supplier network Collaboration (SNC 5.1) and want to integrate with BW system and also XI system.
    Please help me with the options available...
    Regards
    Satish kumar

    Hi Satish,
              In SNC5.1 BW is part of SNC system and we use XI for Integrating SNC and your back end ERP like SAP R/3 or ECC. Please let me know whether you installed stand alone SNC 5.1 or complete SCM 2007 and also when you say Integrating BW can you tell whether you are referring some other exisiting BW or BW part of SNC.

  • MM Configuration for integration with SAP SNC

    Hi,
    I need to make MM configuration required to support PO collaboration and SMI process integrating with SAP SNC.
    ANy kind of information would be very much helpdull
    Thanks
    Vikas

    Hi Vikas,
    MM configuration for PO collaboration is depend upon the your requirements. e.g. You want to upload the confirmations send by the supplier from SNC web UI to your R/3 system you have to use confirmation control key while creating PO in R/3 and make corresponding supplier confirmation control either optional or mandatory in SNC configuration. Default provided by SAP is optional.
    Remember supplier can create confirmations only if ther either optional or mandatory.

  • R/3 - SNC 7.0 - oracle integration using PI 7.0

    Hi All
    There are three systems in our landscape R/3, SCM (SNC 7.0) and oracle based third party system and we are integrating these with PI 7.0.
    for R/3 to SNC we are going to use standard mappings and for communication between R/3 - Oracle and SNC - Oracle we are going to use JMS.
    Communication with third party system is through Flat File (inbound & outbound).
    I have never worked on JMS, could you please give me guidelines what all adapters and methodologies I should use for  communication between R/3 - Oracle and SNC - Oracle.
    Thanks for your valuable inputs.
    Regards
    Amol.

    Dear Amol,
    R3-SNC -> for this there are std mappings available on SDN
    SNC->Oracle - > you will have to use ABAP proxy to file if you are sending files to 3rdparty
                              or u can use ABAP proxy to JDBC adapter if you are directly updation oracle tables...
    R3->Oracle - > you can use IDOC to file(if file is used as communication)
                                        or  IDOC to JDBC adapter(if you want to update tables directly)
                                         or ABAP proxy(if std idocs are not available) -> file
                                         or ABAP proxy -. JDBC
    Hope this helps

  • SAP SNC Supplier Network Collaboration integration with SAP ERP via BizTalk - experiences?

    Hello,
    had anybody experience in integration of SAP SNC Supplier Network  Collaboration with SAP ERP via BizTalk Server?
    Versions: SAP ECC 6.0 Ehp5 SPS11, SAP SNC  current version (7.0?)
    We will have to integrate following processes:
    Master Data integration, PO Purchase Order, Forecast, SMI Supplier Managed Inventory
    Usually SAP takes an SAP PI middleware for this, where the full implementation can be downloaded from the SAP marketplace, but we want to avoid having an additional Integration Platform with maintenance etc.
    Are there experiences, success stories, pitfalls, issues to be known, recommendations, known efforts in this forum?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jens

    HI Jens,
    In our forum, we discussed topic about BizTalk & SAP Integration before, hope it helps you.BizTalk
