SNC technical settings for add-on programs

Hello,
I developed add-on programs on SNC for our suppliers.
I would like them to access to these add-on functions by web browser.
Does anyone know techinical settings about add-ons, ports on firewalls, and so on ?

thank you eraser. I already had this set up in my Firefox however I downloaded the quit add-on because I thought it would be more effective. well it seems to be a bit "too effective". if I can't manage the settings in any way then I will just stick with your suggestion. ty

Hi,
You do not require technical settings to transport data from dvlpmnt to quality.
However, you can transport any tables entries with a simple trick:
(1) Create a workbench request
(2) Change the request (or its task) and add the following entry: R3TR TABU <name of table> =>
(3) Enter the key values you want to transport, e.g.:
- <client>* for all entries of the current client
- add additional restrictions for the table entry (<client><bukrs>* for all entries of a given company code)

Sccm reporting for add/remove programs is not accurate

Hi freinds
I have made a custome query to find computers where antivirus is not installed in entire site. It was working fine. But last week I have observed that one windows server 2008 r2 has got symantec enpoint protection installed but sccm report is including
that server.
could anyone please share ideas to solve it?

It sounds like you have some 3rd. party Console tools installed (right click tools). Those are using various scripts to connect to the clients and is not really controlled via ConfigMgr.

SNC Router settings and configuration

Hi All, I wanted to open ports only for Production Server in my SNC Router and not for my Other servers please help me how can I configure SNC Router settings for the same. And also please send me the configuring steps of SNC router from SAP notes PDF. I will be thankful for it.

Thanks for ur reply, I had tried by doing the same settings but it did not worked, below is my current setting of SNC Router, here my SOLMAN Server IP is 192.168.1.135 & my Production Server IP is 192.168.1.84, and when I am using SAP Router string I am able to access all my other servers like Quality, Development or BIW. So I want to restrict those access & want to allow only my Production server. Please help.

Change default settings for CaptureOnTouch with Canon imageFORMULA DR-C125

Default settings for the CaptureOnTouch program get loaded automatically on startup for my Canon imageFORMULA DR-C125. I can personalize these settings, and take a backup, no problem. When another user logs into that very same computer with the very same scanner attached, they get the same automatically loaded default settings. In order for them to use the settings that I took a great deal of time to customize, they need to load the backup file that I created (whateverfilename.cot). It may seem like no big deal for somebody with some medium computer knowledge, but I have 50+ users logging into this computer, and I do not have time to show everyone of them what to do nor how to do it. Here comes my question: where are the defaults settings that Canon has created (which are so limited : they don't contain grayscale scan settings!) located on the computer (Program Files?) and what is the name of the file? I need to change these settings to something my users can easily deal with, and more importantly, I need scans that are nimble in size so that they can be emailed easily. Symptom
When Microsoft Excel is launched from within the XL Reporter application, other add-ins selected in Microsoft Excel's Add-Ins window are not automatically loaded into Microsoft Excel upon start.

Reason and Prerequisites
When Microsoft Excel is started through Automation (COM), Add-ins are not loaded by default. This is by design and XL Reporter follows this behaviour.
The following is a workaround solution that is avalible in SAP Add-On XL Reporter 2004 SP02 patch 2 and SAP Add-On XL Reporter 2005 SP00 patch 1 and subsequent releases.
Solution
If you need to have other add-ins automatically loaded upon start, a workaround solution is now possible:
In the Microsoft Registry Editor on your client machine, change the following settings in your system registry: in the registry tree underHKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/iLytix/XLReporter/Settings/SBOOEM, add a key with the following name: StartExcelAddins. The key can have two values: the value, 1, which activates other add-ins upon start, and the default value, 0, which leaves the other add-ins inactivated.
Incorrectly editing the registry may damage your system. System registry changes should therefore only be performed by an advanced user who is prepared to both edit and restore the registry. For details about the system registry, please refer to Microsoft Registry Editors help system

If you want to create a Stock Transfer Order,
maintain A as supplying plant. (create vendor master linked to purchase org and company code)
maintain c, d, e as receiving plants. (create customer masters linked to company code)
Ignore Plant B (if no changes to stock is happening there).
Do a 2 step stock transfer, when stock is in transit, after 1st step, you can assume stock is moving thru Plant B.

Is SBO 2007A XL Reporter compatible with MS-EXCEL 2007? How can I configure the settings if the system would prompt a message "A required COM add-in program for XL Reporter has not been loaded and prohibits MS -Excel from running"

SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM:
Reason and Prerequisites
You need to be an administrator on the local machine to add COM add-ins.
Solution
The user should be added as a member of the administrator role on the
local computer the first time you start Excel from XL Reporter the first
time so that the COM addin are registered, then you can remove the user
from the administrator group again.
Manually Loading the XL Reporter Excel COM Add-In
Symptom
If you install Microsoft Office after installing the XL Reporter
application or use another Windows user than the one you used when
installing XL Reporter, you can get an error message.
Reason and Prerequisites
The reason for this is that the report writer COM Add-in has not been
loaded, which prohibits Microsoft Excel from running.
Solution
1. Start Microsoft Excel. If you already have the COM Add-ins command on
the Tools menu, go to step 7.
2. In the Tools menu, choose Customize.
This opens the Customize window.
3. Choose the Commands tab and select Tools from the Categories pane on
the left.
4. In the Command pane on the right, scroll down to the COM Add-ins
command.
5. Select the COM Add-ins command, hold down the mouse button, and drag
COM Add-ins from the Commands pane over to the Tools menu on the Microsoft
Excel men bar. When the Tools menu commands appear, point to where you
want the COM Add-ins command to appear on the menu and release the mouse
button.
6. To close the Customize window, choose Close.
7. On the Tools menu, choose the new COM Add-ins option.
This opens the COM Add-ins window.
8. In the window, choose Add to open the Add Add-in window.
9.Select the IXXLReporter.dll file located in the Client directory in the
XL Reporter program installation area and choose OK.
10. In the COM Add-ins window, select the XL Reporter checkbox and choose
OK.

Am looking to create an SCCM 2012 Report for Software registered in Add/Remove programs on windows 7 machines but dont have enough experience with report builder to do this.

Windows App Certification Kit - Test Fails for Validate Desktop App at "Write appropriate Add/Remove Program values"

Hi,
I am trying to validate a .Net Framework 4 WinForms application for use in the Microsoft Partner Network portal.
I am using Windows App Certification Kit 3.4 for Windows 8.1 , and the Validate Desktop App option.
To build the package I am using InstallShield 2012 SPR Limited Edition (for Visual Studio), and the validation fails
only with the following error (please also see the attached image):
Clean reversible install test: Failed to Write appropriate Add/Remove Program values
Error Found: The registry population test detected the following error: app didn't create the required registry entries.
A non-optional value 'DisplayName' is missing or invalid (same for 'Publisher', 'ProductVersion')
Please note that I have filled in all the publisher/product details in the InstallShield project, on the General Information page.
Also I have tried to use the Microsoft Visual Studio Installer Project for VS2013, and the validation failed with the exact same error.

You may need to add the necessary info to the app’s Windows Installer package so it can configure Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel correctly. Setting these properties automatically writes the corresponding values into the registry. From the picture,
you are missing some necessary information about your desktop app.
Also You need the correct admin permissions to write to the registry.

Error While Creating Technical System for SNC

Hi There,
I am trying to create technical system for SNC in SLD, I am not able to seee SNC as a s/w component/product in the list.
when I checked the list of components in SLD, I found SNC is there under product "SCMSNC" but this product is not in the list of products.
Please help me how I can get "SCMSNC" product in the product list.

Can you please explain it little bit clearly?
I think you first create product, then SWC and then try to create Technical system.
While you will create the Technical system, in the last step it will ask you for installed products.
There you can specify ur product.

i have done the same activity ( buy a new iphone 4 -> upgrade to ios5 - > configure email) with success-
than when i start to move the contacts from old mobile to iphone (using the microsim) i receive the same crash
in disgnosis e use i saw 2 dump with this title 'latestCrash-Preferences.plist and LatestCrash.plist. in each file the date is the same and i read:
