Snipping Tool Failure

My System is Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit Operating System with Windows Office 2013. I have followed the suggestions listed to have the Snipping Tool functional to no avail. I did all that was under LFA72's description. Plus I installed a new user and the
Tool worked until I started Outlook. As Outlook was initializing I suspect it uses Internet Explorer. The other two programs I initiated were Word and Excel and then Outlook. I checked the Snipping Tool while Outlook was initiating and received the message:
"The
Snipping Tool is not working right now. Restart your computer, and then try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.” I am the computer administrator and have run out of things to try. What conditions trigger the message?

Import this key back into the registry, log off and back on and snipping tool will be working again!

  • Snipping Tool stopping working after installing Office 2013 Pro (32 bit) on Win 7 Pro 64bit - help?

Have been looking at many forums to fix this:
    ran SFC - no errors
    rebooted multiple times
    all Windows Updates are current
don't want to disable antivirus, as some have suggested
Uploaded a registry fix, which several have suggested - no soap
    Note:
all other features of this PC work great - zero issues.
the issue starting right after installing Office 2013 Pro - 32bit.  It runs fine.
"Paint" runs fine.  "Print Screen" works fine - image goes to clipboard, and I can paste anywhere.
get the standard message everyone posts in forums:
"The Snipping Tool is not working on your computer right now. Restart your computer, and then try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator."
Have tried other free third-party tools, and they are cumbersome, and I love the MS Snipping Tool.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro Extended: How to use Windows 7 Snipping Tool to Paste into PDF

Acrobat 9 Pro Extended on Windows 7.
I frequently use the Windows built-in Snipping Tool to copy parts of pages and paste them into other applications.
    Works great.
I can't find a way to let Acrobat allow me to Paste.
I create the snip like I always do.
Then navigage to Acrobat. But the Edit/Paste menu item is grayed out.
I tried File/Create PDF/From Blank File. Placed my insert point into the box.
    Still no Edit/Paste was available.
Any ideas on what I need to do to allow Edit/Paste from the Windows 7 Snipping Tool?
Thanks for any help or advice!

You can paste the contents of the clipboard (if an image) onto a PDF page as a stamp. In Acrobat it is called the "Paste Clipboard Image as Stamp Tool" and is found in the stamp menu. You can then move and resize if wanted. To make it part of the regular page contents, you can flatten the stamps, perhaps with this free JavaScript-based tool: http://www.uvsar.com/projects/acrobat/flattener/

  • Automatic screenshot to file using Snipping Tool?

Is it possible to use the Snipping Tool to automatically save a screenshot to file on regular intervals?  Are there command line parameters that can be used to launch the executable that will take a screenshot and save it to a file?  If so, I believe
I can schedule it in Task Manager to run every 60 seconds.
If there is a better (nearly free) tool out there to accomplish this, please let me know.  I have a Win7 desktop system that displays multiple webcam images.  I would like to capture that screenshot and, ultimately, email that file through Outlook.
    Thanks!

    Hi
You can start the snipping tool from a command line ( snippingtool ) but beyond this, I don't see any commands that could actually operate the program to capture and save the capture.
There are some freeware command line screen capture programs, but I have never tried any of these.
Use your favorite search engine to locate these.
    Hope this helps.
Thank You for using Windows 7

    Hey there ;
I am guessing you are using the command: SnippingTool or SnippingTool.exe, just as you would use mspaint; but it is giving you Error 2; this is a Windows Issue more than a LabVIEW one, ,you can try using command:
    C:\Windows\Sysnative\snippingtool.exe;
it worked for me; i found this info in the KB below.

  • Snipping tool for pdf files

Although I can easily use snipping tool for word documents I cannot find the way to use snipping tool for pdf files because pdf files appear in a full screen and the taskbar does not exist -  as well as the snipping tool which I have already pinned

    Hi,
You can try to use Windows key + PrnScrn keys to capture the screen.
And the images will be saved under c:\[user]\Pictures\Screenshots automatically.

  • Image cut off when printing from snipping tool

I am using the snipping tool that is part of Microsoft Windows 7. Thank you for your help.

Hey , Welcome to the HP forums! I understand that you are experiencing issues with cut off images on your Windows 7 PC before printing to your Envy 7640. I can help you with that, however I am not quite sure what program you are using that has your snipping tool. If you let me know what program you are using I can make sure we get you pointed in the right direction to resolve this.

  • Win 7 Ult 64 bit (Snipping Tool)

The snipping tool does not work. It worked fine before Windows released updates, then it stopped. It fails every time I try to launch it. I had to purchase a secondary program to do the work Windows was
    supposed to do.
The program returns an error message stating the program cannot be ran at this time, and if the problem continues to contact the network administrator.
What is up with this and why has this part of Windows failed?

    Hi,
From your description, it might be other software conflicts.
Please perform an Clean Boot to see if there are other third-party software conflicts:

Alternative, since you have mentioned that it worked fine before. An easier way to resolve is run system restore to roll back to a previous time when everything worked fine.

  • HT204216 is there any Snipping tool in mac

Is there any PRINT SCREEN OPTION

    Snipping tool in MAC
Which program do u recommend for matching MS PAINT

COMMAND-SHIFT-3 saves an image of the entire screen to the Desktop.
COMMAND-SHIFT-4 saves a selection of any part of the screen to the Desktop.
The Grab utility in your Utilities folder provides more extensive operations for saving screen snapshots.
MacUpdate or CNET Downloads are sources for software where you should find utilities for doing a direct Print Screen operation. None is built-in to OS X.

  • Use snipping tool, try to send as attachments creates error

I am a desktop tech and I have seen other posts re: this issue but nothing has worked - While using snipping tool and use send as attachment to recipient, error in Outlook "messaging interface has returned an unknown error.  If problem persists start
Outlook again".  We run Office 2007 and Vista Enterprise.  Tried Outlook diagnostics, and 'tablet pc optional components' is enabled to no avail.  Any thoughts?

    Hi,
Can you save the attachment without sending as attachment first?
Can you send a website as an attechment?
We need to clarify if this is a snipping tool issue or Outlook issue.
At this point, you may try to start Outlook in Windows clean boot mode to check if it helps.

  • Uninstall snipping tool

I have always used a screen capturing program named clipmate 7 and really enjoy using it. I think the program that came with my laptop named snipping tool is interferring with Clipmates ability to capture any screen shots. All of Clipmate 7's keyboard shortcuts that you use to capture screen shots are disabled. I think if I uninstall snipping tool my problem would be solved but I haven't been able to uninstall it. Of course I've tried the Programs and Features uninstall control panel but Snipping tool wasn't listed in it's list of programs.

    Hi There,
Can you go to start - > Run and type snippingtool.exe
Basically the above opens the Snipping tol.
What error does it give when you type it in run ?
Can you post a screenshot plz.
