SNMP for 6608 active calls

I have been trying to find a way to poll my 6500 for the total number of active calls via SNMP. I am looking to get this data into a graph made by MRTG.
From the CLI, I get the data via 'sh port voice active call'
Anyone have an idea?

There are no separate MIB modules defined for the 6608 card. However, if you want to see the number of completed calls from Call Manager, you can use the performance monitor counters. To view the number of completed calls, start up performance counters, added a new counter, select "Cisco MGCP PRI Device" under Performance object. One of the counters is "CallsCompleted". This should show you what you're looking for. For more information, visit

  • MIB for Total Active Calls?

    Hello list.
    I have a Cisco2610 gateway with a E1 card making calls to a PSTN local cloud. Is there a SNMP MIB to gather the "Total Active Calls" or the "Total Call Legs" ?
    Hope someone can help me
    Thanks in advance

  • Chat window with active caller always closed by de...

    Since updating to the latest version of Skype v6.18 for Mac, the chat window for active callers is always automatically closed. For example, if I call someone and then want to send them a link via chat, I need to click the "+" icon, then choose "instant message" to open the chat box again. For each new call, the chat box is automatically closed again. I manage a remote team of developers and as you can imagine we use Skype for calls and chat all the time. We're always sending chat messages while on a call and it's super annoying to have to re-open the chat box for every active call every time. I can't understand the point of this except to say that it must be a bug and so I'd like to flag it with you to fix.

    I agree.  This is definitely an annoyance for me and my team.  Like the original poster I manage a remote team of developers and post messages in nearly every call.  Having the message window hidden on every new call causes an extra few keystrokes on almost every call.  Of course this isn't a show-stopping issue for me since there is an easy workaround but it does decrease Skype's usability for my use case.

  • SHUTDOWN: waiting for active calls to complete.

    Hello,
    environment is HPUX 11.23, Oracle Version is 9.2.0.5
    We had an ORA-600 error yesterday. We reported that error to the support and were suggested to install patch 9.2.0.8.
    However i have one question. As you can see from the output in the alert-logfile it took a very long time to shutdown the instance using the immediate option:
    Sun Nov 9 17:33:58 2008
    Shutting down instance: further logons disabled
    Shutting down instance (immediate)
    License high water mark = 454

    SHUTDOWN: waiting for active calls to complete.
    Sun Nov 9 17:50:36 2008
    ALTER DATABASE CLOSE NORMAL
    Is there anything one can do in such a situation to speed up the shutdown of the instance ?

    Rajabaskar Thangaraj,
    Oracle database has a job facility and a streams/advanced queuing facility.
    These facilities are possible by setting up a few ancillary processes.
    Those parameters govern the number of processes.
    Setting them to 0 will disable the facility completely.
    As you alter the parameter in memory, as you as you have bounced the database, it will be back to the value in the spfile and the facilities will work again.
    Disabling them is especially useful when you the facilities are frequently used, ie you have a job running every 30 seconds.
    In the past, on several databases, this was the only way to allow a shutdown immediate.
    Hope this helps,

  • Disabling Active call window...cupc 8.6

    Question from one of my users...is there a way to disable the active calls window when the user is on the phone?
    I just got an earful about how annoying this is...
    Thanks in advance for any advice...
    ~Ray

    Not without disabling deskphone/softphone control and turning CUPC into an IM&P-only client. If you wanted to go that route you would want to disable the CTI, CCMCIP, and Audio profiles within the CUP Admin > CUPC/Jabber > User settings.

  • BDC for SPRO Activity

    Hi Experts,
    Basically I am Functional Consultant but I have client requirement where I need to Call BDC thru Z-Transaction.
    Here my requirement is to Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations by uploading Excel File
    SPRO Path is..
    Materials Management > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up Stock Transport Order > Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations > Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations..
    Now here I need to insert the data..
    But here I dont have specific T-Code for this activity..
    I tried to Record BDC but when I run it, it dose not work for node selection for the SPRO path and it stops at IMG screen..
    Any suggestions for that???
    If nothing works, I have last option for this is to insert data in Database Table directly (Table - T001L)
    Thanks & Regards,
    HP

    Hi,
    your SPRO activity is just maintaining of content of table V_T001W_L and table V_T001L_L. So you can go to transaction SM30, enter table name V_T001W_L or V_T001L_L and insert data. You can easily write BDC for transaction SM30. Unfortunately I can not see possibility how to enter new line but maybe it should not be possible.
    Cheers

  • Isdn Layer 1 deactivated when there is no active call

    Hi All,
    I am in Nairobi Kenya. Here we use ISDN Basic-net3 and my problem is that most of the telco switches here deactivate Layer 1 when there is no active call.
    When I try to initiate a call by using the ISDN test call command I get an error to the effect that B channel is not available.
    The only way I can initiate a call is I first call the line then and then disconnect. Then I have about 5 seconds to make a test call and pings are successful. How do I make the router initiate a call when layer 1 is deactivated.
    the debug isdn q921 out has nothing till a call comes in.
    I also understatnd that European ISDN switches deactivate Layer 1 when there no active call. I dont have a problem with one of the switches, coz it does not bring down the line when there is no active call.
    Thakx in advance
    Martin

    Thanks for the quick response.
    It is a cisco 1760
    The IOS is c1700-sv3y-mz.122-15.T5.bin
    When I try to make a test call the show isdn status initially indicates that the router is trying to activate layer 1 then after 5 seconds it indicates that it is deactivated.

  • Why do we have to spend $39 for a phone call if Adobe has made an error with your account ?

    Have new computer with win8, cannot transfer with seral numbers, in my account there is no history of purchases of elements9  and premier elements 9. I refuse to spend money for a phone call for the error on my statement that leaves out the purchase order number not allowing me to download with a missing link.

    Perhaps you will be kind enough to state your problem here so that volunteers can help you out.  We can't help you with lost serial numbers or activations on multiple machines; otherwise most problems can be addressed and if there is no solution we'll say so.

  • Workaround for IE active content problem?

    Adobe
    posted
    a workaround for existing web pages to respond to the change in
    IE that requires users to manually activate Flash content. I tried
    doing the same document.write in an external file for the HTML
    files FlashHelp generates wherever I found the <object> and
    <embed> tags, but I get a script error ("Object expected") in
    the lines where I call the function. (The solution worked for me in
    simple HTML pages with Captivate movies, so I know it can work.)
    The only reason I can think of that it won't work is that the
    scripts are concatenating strings, not just showing a movie where
    the <object> and <embed> tags are. Has anyone found a
    workaround for FlashHelp so users don't have to manually activate
    the top and left panes? I put in a "wish" for Adobe to provide a
    solution on the site and later in an update or new version of
    RoboHelp (which is another issue in and of itself), but who knows
    when the developers will be able to come up with it. Thanks!

    Thanks for asking, Mimi. Here are more specific steps:
    1. Open Notepad or another program for creating text files.
    2. Create two functions. For example:
    function insertMaster1() {
    function insertMaster2() {
    You can call your functions anything you want, but the names
    must be different. Note that for the moment, they're empty, but
    we'll change that in a minute.
    3. Save the Notepad file with a JS file extension (for
    example, runactive.js). In Notepad, specify “All Files”
    for “Save as type” so that it doesn’t save as a
    TXT.
    4. When you generate your FlashHelp system, it creates a
    bunch of HTM files containing JavaScript in the destination folder
    you specified when generating your output. Locate wf_master.htm and
    wf_navpane.htm in the output folder. (If you leave RoboHelp to use
    its defaults, it puts your help system in an !SSL!/FlashHelp
    directory within your project folder.)
    5. Open wf_master.htm.
    6. In the <head> tags, insert a line that references
    your JS file:
    <script language=“JavaScript”
    src=“runactive.js”></script>
    7. Find the lines in the code that look like this:
    // Insert the “Master” SWF
    8. Highlight everything AFTER this commented-out block until
    the </script> tag. The last thing you highlight should be
    "document.write(strObject);".
    9. Cut the highlighted code and paste it into the first
    function in your JS file so it looks like this:
    function insertMaster1() {
    // Build up the variable string we will be sending
    strFlashVars = "uniqueHelpID=" + parent.UniqueID();
    ……(more code)
    document.write(strObject);
    10. In the place where you just cut all that code out of
    wf_master.htm, insert a call to the function:
    insertMaster1();
    That’s all you need because all that code you just
    moved was already in <script> tags in the HTM file. The
    </script> tag should come immediately after this function
    call.
    11. Open wf_navpane.htm.
    12. Repeat steps 6 – 10 for wf_navpane.htm. The code
    we’re concerned with in this file looks almost exactly like
    that in wf_master.htm, but there are a few lines less this time.
    Put the code you take out of wf_navpane.htm into the second
    function in your JS file. Where you cut out the code from
    wf_navpane.htm, put a call to the second function (it should come
    right before the end of the <script> tags):
    insertMaster2();
    13. Save your JS file and the two HTM files.
    14. Whenever you re-generate your output, RoboHelp is going
    to erase your new versions of these HTM files and create its own
    again. Copy your new versions of wf_master.htm and wf_navpane.htm
    to another location (can be a folder within your output folder).
    Now you have them so you can paste them back over RoboHelp’s
    versions each time you finish generating your output. For example,
    I would stow my wf_master.htm and wf_navpane.htm in a folder called
    "drop files." Then, after I get done generating my output, I copy
    those files and paste them in the output folder, letting them save
    over the ones that RoboHelp created.
    15. To test it once you've finished the swap, find the HTM
    file in your output folder that is named after your project. For
    example, if my project is called flying_monkey, I would find
    flying_monkey.htm. Open this HTM file in Internet Explorer, and you
    shouldn’t have any messages telling you that you have to
    press Enter or Spacebar or click on the panes to activate them.
    This runs from the same basic idea as Adobe’s
    workarounds for Flash—we’re going to a file external to
    the HTM files for the active content tags. Hope you find this
    useful! Let me know if you run into any problems.

    Dear deepthi dandibh,
    Do you know how to solve it? I got the problem similar as you.
    When I debug via BAPI_PO_CREATE1 function, I found the KNT has the G/L Account inside, But when I call BAPI_PO_CREATE1 by Zxxx program and debuging it. It doesn't has the G/L Account inside KNT table.
    Could you please help to advise me how to do ?

  • Monitoring the number of active calls in a gateway from HUM

    Hi,
    we are configuring HUM and we want to display the number of active calls in a gateway but we can't find any OID's that show exactly what we want. So we are going to use the EXPRESSION-MIB in order to calculate some values we need.
    In MRTG we launch a snmpwalk query against the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.3.1.1.9 (cvCallActiveInSignalLevel) and we count with a counter the number of rows obtained from that snmpwalk. The calculation is as follows:
    @ret=snmpwalk(sigint03.'@'.'x.x.x.x'.'1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.3.1.1.9');
    foreach $campo (@ret) {

    print $cuenta."\n";
    But we don't know how to implement the "foreach" loop with the EXPRESSION-MIB... and we don't know any other way for getting the number of active calls.

    I had decided to leave Verizon Wireless after about 10 loyal years with them.  First, when the "new every two" plan was discontinued it was and still is, a very sore spot for me and a lot of other longtime customers.  Then, back in 2011, some "genius" decided we customers needed to pay $2 to pay our bill online.  What a frigging farce.  Hell, verizon, if you want $2 more a month, then raise the rates, be honest with the customer and be done with it.  I hope the stupid s.o.b. that tried to implement this idea is now on the unemployment line.  How frigging stupid can you be?
    I had actually went to the point of purchasing a Straight Talk phone.  I had planned on using this phone for a couple of months to see if it would do what I needed as far as phone and text service.  I had a problem trying to activate the phone.  I was scheduled for a cruise during this time frame and could not finish the activation.  While on the cruise I was ranting and raving about Verizon Wireless.  Sitting at the same table I was at was a lady who finally identified herself as a call center rep.  She was very polite, explained that even though she was on vacation, she still had a responsibility to make any Verizon customer happy and to try to solve the problem, if she could.  Now here we are, out in the middle of the ocean, hundreds of miles away from land, no cell phone service there, and this crazy lady is trying to solve my phone problems.  Talk about dedication!!!!!  End result, she made some suggestions for me to try once I got back home.  I did what she suggested.  Much to my surprise, everything pretty much fell into place.  I added an additional internet line, allowing me to discontinue HughesNet.  I also upgraded my phone to an IPhone, which is a really easy phone for us old folks to use.
    As a result of the time and dedication this person took, not only did Verizon Wireless continue to keep me as a customer, I actually increased the amount of services I get from them.  All because some lady, on vacation, literally in the middle of an ocean, took the time to listen to a crazy old man ranting and raving.
    She truly deserves to be recognized not only by me, but by Verizon Wireless.  She works out of Huntsville, AL.
    Who can I contact to make sure she gets the pat on the back she deserves?

    I am really glad to hear such a positive outcome for a possible bad situation, here is contact information that may help you voice your positive feedback.

  • Avoiding request scope bean clashes for task flow calls

    Hi,
    I have two task flows, Tf1 calls Tf2 using a task flow call activity. The structures of the task flows are as follows:
    Tf1
      Managed Bean: TfBean, request scope
        class Tf1Bean
          has property goTf2Button
      View: View1
        Button bound to #{TfBean.goTf2Button}
          Action -> task flow call to Tf2
    Tf2
      Managed Bean: TfBean, request scope
        class Tf2Bean
          has property testButton
      View: View2
        Button bound to #{TfBean.testButton}
    As you can see both have a request scope bean called TfBean but these are different classes in each. The bean classes have different properties for binding the components on the two pages.
    When I click the button in View1 to navigate I get an error telling me that class Tf1Bean does not have the property testButton. Clearly Tf2Bean is not being instantiated as TfBean already exists for the request.
    I'm guessing this is expected behaviour and it seems logical.
    My question however is what would be good standards or practices to avoid this?
    One way would be a naming convention, however what if I am consuming Tf2 from a library? In this case it would ideally work as a black box and I should not be concerned about it's implementation, specifically names chosen for internal managed beans. Even if it was not a problem initially, the developer of the task flow could add or change the name of a request scope bean introducing a conflict at a later stage.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Frank,
    Good to meet you at UKOUG Tech13 yesterday. I changed my test case from request scope to backing bean scope. Unfortunately I still get the same error:
    <RichExceptionHandler> <_logUnhandledException> ADF_FACES-60098:Faces lifecycle receives unhandled exceptions in phase RENDER_RESPONSE 6
    javax.faces.FacesException: javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: The class 'yyy.view.Tf1Bean' does not have the property 'testButton'.

    What I think is happening, please correct me if I'm wrong...
    Running Tf1, page View1 is displayed.
    Clicking the button on View1 initiates a request and an instance of Tf1Bean is instantiated for the managed bean named TfBean.
    During the request navigation occurs to Tf2 and hence page View2.
    View2 needs a property in TfBean called testButton.
    There is already a managed bean instantiated for this request called TfBean, however this is of class Tf1Bean and does not have the property.
    I have a simple workspace showing this if you want me to send it to you. I am using 11.1.2.4 by the way.
    Thanks,
    Kevin
