Please provide me details of type of SNOTE.means i want to identified that which not will be directly implement correction wnd which note need to do manual correction.

Hi Jatin,
The best way is to read the note carefully and check the solution part .
Here it will be clearly mentioned whether to apply the correction to solve the problem or any prerequisite
needed before applying etc.
You must take care about the component version and support pack version before applying the note .
Mean make sure whether the note is applicable for your system . If its applicable , better to download
the note through SAP OSS connection ( Snote > Download the note ), it will downloaad the needed
correction for your system and so you can avoid the manual downloading and other stuffs.

EP log type INFO not written to the portal.log file

All the log.info (where log is of type PortalRuntime Logger) statements in my code are not written to the portal.log file.
I have configured the portal_logger to log ALL but it seems to log only the FATAL and WARNING messages and not the INFO ones.I am on EP6 SP2

Let me rephrase my question.
In the portal logs configuration (Sys Adm - Monitoring - Logging Console - portal_logger ) if you select ALL, should it not log messages of all types ( ERROR WARNING INFO )? When I select ALL for the portal_logger the portal.log doesn't display the log messages of type INFO (only the once of type ERROR or WARNING).

Convention flag on Infotype 1029 (Business Event Type Info)

Hi,
I need to use this functionality of checking the convention flag & specify that my business event type is a multi-session event consisting of multiple sessions running in parallel.
However, this indicator does not even appear for me.
I am using TEM (ECC 6.0) & not LSO (I am aware that LSO does not support marking a course type as convention)
I need to use this functionality & am looking for any inputs on how to get this to display for me.

But no information on displaying this falg.
Please let me know if anyone has worked with this or with Multi-Session Event/Convention or Business Event Blocks (Infotype 1041).

Get content type info

Hello Friends,
I have 4 list based content types which have a similar column "appendix" as single line of text. I have added them to my list. My requirement is, when I click on the new item and select the content type, I should get the content type info in the appendix
column.
Can someone help me on getting that info? I cannot use the InfoPath forms to get the information.

Is there a way to configure redirect type NCI-TYPE-INFO only - on the ACE devices ?
I need this functionality to redirect the traffic when the servers at the primary site are down and the clients still hit the content at site 1

An Employee Pay scale structure consist of pay scale type, pay scale area, pay scale group & pay scale level.
Pay scale type mean what kind of your industry domain is for example is it a software industry, manufacturing or retail industry
pay scale area is geografical location
both pay scale type & area is defaulted by feature tariff.
pay scale group is basically customised by taking job evaluation & indirection evalution in consideration.
for example pay scale group can be manager ( generic job) in this again subdivision will be there which are called pay scale level. for example group manager and level 1 will get a salary package of 1...... amount.
by maintaing different level & group we can maintain pay scale of different employees in the organisation.

How can i save a form in adobe reader than only allows you to type info but doesnt allow you to save

I have a file that i need to email to someone, however when i fill in the information at the bottom of the page i have an option to submit via email or print... when i submit via email, it states its being sent but the person on the other end doesnt receive it. what else can i do?

Yeah, THAT'S a limitation which was set when the original author created and saved the form. You CANNOT undo it with Reader. You may be able to with Acrobat Pro, but if the PDF has DRM you can't touch it.

Module pool domain text display info req?

i had an req to show a filed MATNR on a screen in module pool pgm,there shd be a i/p filed for material,user can select the material from the list of available materials,along with the test to be displayed for the filed next to material nos.
the list of mateiral is based on the login user name.
i am able to display the material list,but text is not coming.

SAP Script info req to print new line iten on new page

i had an req to print the list of MATNR & KUNNR on script,but the req is like this,at NEW MATNR,the script shd start with new page,say,if there are 5 MATNR,2 are same & 3 are same with diff KUNNR.
On first page:2 MATNR shd be printed
On Second Page:3 MATNR shd be printed & so on each time on new page...
Please tell me how to do it,in window MAIN,how shd i wirte code for this?

Hello, I have purchased and waiting arrival of: Thinkpad W500 T9400 64Bit 4061-BV3 # xx-xxxxx Windows 7 Prof.

Missing types info in array manager?

I have a doubt regarding "Missing types" shown once in a while on the Array Manager in the emulator sessions.
I want to know wat exactly this means and how can we see wats missing

"Missing Types" should be a temporary state. It is the difference between webtop and emulator session counts and can occur while replication updates are being performed. If "shown once" then it is of no concern. If you see this consistently then it could mean that you have Security enabled and you need to tune the number of ttassl processes running.

Increasing the length of Char type Info-object ( impact )?

Hi,
We are on BW3.5 version and we have a custom defined Info-object ZP_REPORT(say )whose length is 3 now as all the three digit series will be used up in near future we have a requirement to increase the length of the characteristic.
This Info-object is used Navigation attribute of 0Material. And also this info-object is used as Navigational characteristic in few Info-cubes.
Can any one please let me know what would be the impact of increasing the length?
1)Do I need to delete the master data from this ZP_REPORT?
2)DO I need to delete the master data from 0MATERIAL?
3)Will there be any impact on Info-Cubes?

Hi Ajay,
It is always big challenge to change the existing info object lengh or type or anything that have gone live already..........
But if we will be very careful at the time of changing length and transport, we can do it succefully......
Lets come to your scenario... In my understanding
i) Your scenario is going to change the info object length that info object is only available for attribute. It is not at all used anywhere in the dimenstion table. So your cube will not be affected.... If problem will come your master data only will be affected.... Verify more than one time your info object is not at all used in any cubes. (Go to infoobject change mode check in where used list)
ii) Before changing the length in development, data should be available in development cube as well as master data.. Because you can verify it in development itself whether the data will be deleted or not at the time of changing the length and activate the info object.
iii) At the time of transport transport only the particular info object. Dont sent any other info objects. That might have related with any cube.
iv) For safety purpose check whether your info cube is having which type of load. Either Full load or Delta. Most of the cubes will be having delta. If it is full, then we dont have more worry on that.
v) Finally if possible, create one backup cube and back master data and load data from your existing cube to that cube. If the data will be more that 2 GB it is not a simple task to take a backup..... This is only for safty purpose......

Actually when I am passing the Vendor A/c it should be posted to WBS element, but it is getting posted to cost center .

I am entering the vendor code and company code, after
wards I am selecting Clear Line Item Selection,
Then I am selecting Normal Line Items, then executing it,
After the execution I am clicking on Assignment where I particularly clicking on an Assignment and then Display,
After display I am clicking on Document Overview,
I am seeing the expenses are getting posted to cost center not to the WBS element.
Could you please further advice on this.
When I am passing vendor code it is should be posted to WBS element,But in some case it is getting posted to Cost Center and some cases it is getting psoted to WBS element.
Actually as per our requirement it should be posted to
WBS not to cost center , Could you please advice further on this issue.
