Snow Leopard 10.6.8 does not recognize my windows 7 64-bit .iso disc. PLEASE HELP!
Macbook Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with bootcamp 3.0 does not recognize my windows 7 64-bit .iso disc. I recently used it on my mountain lion macbook pro with no trouble. I partioned the disk and when I insert disc and hit continue, mac says it cannot recognize the windows install disc. What could be the problem? Please help, really stuck!
I was able to import photos in iPhoto and Image capture when I was running SL 10.6.8 on my older MacBook.
Did you try quitting everything, restart the Mac and then try again?
Are there any updates at all for the Mac? I was helping one user not all that long ago and there were updates for her Mac software that had nothing to do with the OS and when she downloaded the updates - the iPad was then recognized in iTunes.

Sorry if there is a topic like this already - I could not find it.
I last charged my iPod about a week ago, and I went to my Macbook this morning to sync and charge my classic 80GB iPod.
However, when I plugged the charger in, my computer did not recognize the iPod. Nothing showed up.
I went into iTunes - the iPod icon did not show up.
Also, when I unplugged the iPod from the charger, my iPod did not change - it still says that it is on hold, and I cannot take it off hold, and I cannot turn it off.
Therefore, my iPod is frozen!! It says that it is on hold, and that it is on and paused on a song. I cannot take it off hold, and I cannot turn it off!!
Please help!!

Thank you.I FIXED IT MYSELF.
I simply let the iPod run out of battery.
Then it said CONNECT TO POWER.
And then I did.
And after 15 minutes, it worked!

Snow leopard 10.6.3 does not boot up. Macbook pro. When I push the start button I hear a chime and then the apple logo shows up and the spinnings circle. If your MacBook Pro is a 2007 model, then Mac OS X 10.6.3 was not installed onto your MacBook Pro from its grey installation DVDs, but rather from a white Snow Leopard DVD. The white Snow Leopard DVD does not have any Apple Hardware Test; to run your Apple Hardware Test, you will need the grey installation DVDs which originally came with your MacBook Pro when it was new. If you no longer have those grey discs, you can contact Apple directly and purchase a replacement pair. (They’re not available in the Apple stores.) -
I used Roxio VHS to DVD for Mac (have iMac with Snow Leopard) and the audio does not synch with the video when playing in iMovie. Any suggestions to fix?
Thanks for the reply. I tried playing with detaching the audio in iMovie, but with 20+ hours of video to correct, it would take too long. After 28 hours, Corel/Roxio tech support replied that it is a known bitrate mismatch problem and they have no real fix. I strongly suggest not to buy this product.

I would first try unplugging All the USB devices plugged into your computer, and then plug back in just the iPhone and see if that is recognized. Also, do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed on your PC, as you need to?

Is there some background story to this that might give us some clue? An error message quoted exactly? Did you just do an update?
Try starting iTunes with the shift key held down. If it starts it is probably some old plugin presenting problems. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Arriyou need to go to control panel and turn on your windows update and turn on the automatically update the drivers.

Not true. The music and pic sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You really should transfer everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your computer. Since you do not have access to the old computer, then use your backup copy of the old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you would have to transfer itunes purchased as described earlier. Any other itunes content would be lost.
You can e-mail photo library pics to yourself, but they will not be of the original quality.
Before syncing, enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. When you first sync, then you should get the option to merge the data. -

<Email Edited by Host>As these are public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support, I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post - it's not a good idea to post it unless you like spam email.
The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account - a rescue email address is not the same as an alternate/secondary email address, they are different addresses/settings on an account.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
