Ok, i got the Snow Lep. upgrade, now i cant read half my email, nor can i reply, i get this crazy code & the keyboard mistypes letters... ***?!?!?
Someone please help.

Sounds like a corrupt/conflicting font problem. Launch Font Book, select all fonts, and validate fonts and resolve duplicates.

Only the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Sounds like the phone was hacked to unlock it originally. Find out what carrier it is locked to, and look up their contact information using google or the search engine of your choice.

Now we can only read emails in different folders if I am managing multiple email accounts.
It does not feel so comfortable as we use Live mail and Outlook express.

And some general advice:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

If it still shows up under your accounts you would want to tap on it and then tap on the email address. You should see the option to sign out, do so and then re-add the account by hitting add account from settings> Mail contacts and calendars.
If the accounts are not on the device start at re-adding the accounts.
If you need the server settings you will need to contact Yahoo.

I Can't open WMV files in Quicktime since Snow Leopard upgrade
I get an error message saying 'Quicktime player must be installed to run this application'
This is happening on both of my macs

I had this problem. Double clicking the WMV file produced the message you had. However, if I open by dragging the WMV file onto the QuickTime X icon in the dock it did indeed open.
I then looked at the WMV's Get Info window and found that it was set to open in WMV Player by default. Obviously I do not have WMV Player installed. The drop down menu on this setting did have QT Player as the other option. When I changed the option to QT Player as default the "Change All" button became active. Previously it had been greyed out. Things have been OK since, but I have not tried it on any new WMV files.

Itunes wont open after snow lep upgrade

upgraded to snow lep. went through all software updates rebooted multiple times. Itunes wont launch, when I double click it gives me an unexpextedly quit window, downloaded itunesx reinstalled....nothing...........so an apple app, doesnt play well with an apple os?

It is likely an issue with the iTunes Library file.

If you rebuild the library, it should take care of the problem. I would make sure you have a Time Machine backup before starting any major task, just in case something wrong happens. Better safe, than sorry.

Apple does not allow my free OS upgrade - says it can`t read receipts

Apple refuses all copies of invoice/receipt of purchase and is refusing to accept sending me the code for free update of the OS.

I bought my MacBook Pro on July 7th, 2012, in El Corte Ingles, in Lisbon.
According to Apple, it qualifies for the free upgrade, but so far ... nothing but refusals.
Sometimes Apple says it can not read the file, other times Apple says that it lacks the "reference", I still don`t understand what that means.
I have sent several emails to [email protected] indicating the case number but did not get any response.

After telephone contact with Apple, the problem was solved and i had already installed the new OS.
It was not easy, but it's done.
Apple acknowledged that I was right and apologized.
We're all friends again.

How can I access my iCloud email on my iPad? ICloud is functionnal with everything else (calendar, contacts, etc.), but I can't seem to get my me.com emails in my Mail app.
I can get my emails through iCloud.com and the mail app on my iMac, but not on my iPad on IOS 5.1.1
I went through every menu in Settings and can't seem to find the problem...

Mail syncing IS enabled at settings >iCloud. But I don't see my me.com account in the list of accounts under Account >Mail, contacts, calendar>settings.
There is a item named iCloud (that includes email, contacts, calendar and others), but there is still nothing that appears in my mail account...
