SNP:PL-ORD to be created 2 months in advance from PReqRel

Dear Experts,
Is there a way we can configure APO to have SNP:PL-ORD to be created 2 months in advance after running Location heuristic?
Lets say we have a PReqRel on M 05/2012 in the Planning book after running Location Heuristic the SNP: PL-ORD will be created on M 03/2012 which is two months in advance with the exact quantity from the requirement.

This can be addressed by CTM through "order creation Frame" field of SNP2 tab of product master (/SAPAPO/MAT1).
Maximium earliness can be used in case of Heuristics.

In PPDS you can use Tcode /SAPAPO/RRP7 and select the PR to PO Conversion based on next 2 Months.

CTM SNP:PL-ORD not ciffed to ECC system

Hi all,
We have implemented MTS & MTO scenario.
The issue is: for MTO the SNP PL-ORD created by CTM SNP aren't ciffed on ECC side. They are ciffed only if I made the conversion from SNP PL-ORD to PP/DS PL-ORD.
For MTS, I don't have any transfer problem for SNP PL-ORD or PP/DS PL-ORD.
Is there a system constraint or I missed something at configuration level?

Since SCM 4.0 CTM can also support Make to Order + This is only possible when using CTM time continous planning. (this is CTM PPDS)
I really think that it's a system limit. CTM Bucket Oriented Planning (SNP) for MTO is not supported. However at least the CTM Heuristic create SNP PL-ORD and then with conversion all things are OK.

You are in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) mode and in the CTM profile, you chose the variant for the bucket-oriented planning in the field for the planning type............

How to create monthly table creation?

Unable to create table by month in analytic database but load the data to the previous table continuous as attached screenshot, Schema user has the creation privilege. We are using Webcenter interaction 10gR4.

Thanks for your help. We were able to create table and load data till Apr as attached.
However the analytic user privilege has been modified on Apr due to server operation.
Since then, there was a message saying there is no permission to create tables in the analytic log,
analytic user privilege has been granted after checked this message, As I suspected, the issue occurred after modifying analytic user privilege.
Currently, analytic users are granted with all privilege.
Any idea please?

IPhoto not creating monthly Photo Stream Events

Up until last month, all photos that were brought into iPhoto via Photo Stream were being added to a (seemingly) automatically created monthly event of Photo Stream images. It seems to have stopped doing this and I was wondering if there was a way to reinitiate this.
I think what may have caused this to happen was that I renamed one of these monthly events (Apr 2012 Photo Stream) to something generic like "Spring" and added additional (non Photo Stream pictures) to it. Now, all new Photo Stream photos are dumped into this "Spring" event and I can't get iPhoto to create a new May 2012 Photo Stream event and dump all new photos imported into Photo Stream into it.
I've tried renaming "Spring" to Apr 2012 Photo Stream and adding a "May 2012 Photo Stream" but to no avail. It keeps wanting to add photos automatically to what I believe was the original "Apr 2012 Photo Stream" that has since been changed.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks.

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
If it doesn't and you are able to download successfully into the new library then your existing library needs repairs: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost and converted to albums. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

In iWork numbers 2.1 i have created monthly tables that end in sums of my daily numbers & i want to combine the sums for all months into a new table to allow me to get yearly sums. When i try to copy monthly sums i get 'formula contains invalid reference.' How do i perform this function?

If you want to use Copy/Paste, you should use the Edit > Paste Values version. Or, you could simply add references in the Yearly table to the monthy tables.

Hi Gurus,
I have a keyfigure called Demand in my report. For Demand, I need to create monthly buckets in the form of columns, ie Demand-Month1, Demand-Month2, Demand-Month3 whereas from R3 the demand values for Month1, Month2, and Month3 flows in rows. In short, I need to transpose it to columns from the report level in BW.
Also, in the description of the columns, for example: If month1 flowing from R3 is July, then Demand-Month1 should be Demand-July, Demand-Month2 should be Demand-August, Demand-Month3 should be Demand-September.
Can I do this with the help of variables or some other method. Please help me in detail.

inorder to design a bucketing report For this you need to create a formula variable with replacement path on the date and take the system date varaible which is provided by SAP.
create a formula to calculate the difference of days.
based on the diff of days you can create the formula to get the buckets.

Use BADI:
WORKORDER_GOODSMVT to prevent any goods movement posting (take a look at MB_DOCUMENT_BADI as well if it helps) and
WORKORDER_CONFIRM to prevent any confirmations.
Select the relevant method in the above BADI's to prevent any postings to your 1 series order as per your logic. This should give you control on the cost postings.

Last Activity Created Month in reports

Hi Experts,
Need to find the last activity created month with a particular value for an account in reports.
Didn't find any activity metrics for that.
Is there any work around for this.

Hi Lemu,
It's not clear if your question is with getting the last activity or extracting the month? From the Activities subject area you can filter on Accounts to see all activities for a particular account. To see the Created Date month, expand the Activity: Created Date dimension to expose the Calendar Month / Qtr, etc.
You can use the RANK function (RANK("- Created Date".Date)) to replace the date value with a rank number, where 1 is the most recent date. You can then filter on this field to just get the most recent activity (RANK("- Created Date".Date) = 1).
If you need to get the Month from a date field that is not an expandable dimension, then you can use the conversion function Month or MonthName (MONTHNAME("- Created Date".Date)).

Create multiple sales orders from single service notification?

Is it possible to create multiple sales orders from a single notification (IW51)?
We currently create sales orders directly within transaction IW51 (Create Service Notification). We kick off the sales order creation by pressing the "SALES ORD." button in the notification screen. We're now interested in creating a 2nd Sales Order which would tie directly to the same Service Notification. This is so that we can have the second order assigned to a different account assignment WBS (there are two different parties doing work on the service notification).
I assume you would have to go to VA01 to create the Sales Order, but am not sure how to tie it directly to the service notification from here. I treied to do a create with reference, but there is no ability to create with reference to a service notification.
Do I have to create a second service notification for the 2nd Sales Order for this to work? I want to avoid doing this if at all possible.
I'm running SAP R/3 Enterprise

go to vtaa- copy controls for sales document to sales document.
select your combination of order and quotation go to item level. There select value 0(zero) in field positive/negative negative.
No need to change update document flow.
After setting zero in copy control that be told on above. create order with respective to the quotation.
After saving the order.
go to document flow to see the status in between quotation and order.
If you placed setting right, then u certainly observe for quotation status will be open. so you can create no. of sales order with respect to that quotation..

Error when trying to create a web service from a wsdl file using jdeveloper

I'm using the latest jdeveloper and jdk 6 update 20 on solaris sparc 10.
When I'm trying to create a web service from a wsdl on the java EE 1.5 platform i get the following error:

You are asking about an issue that was a pain in the nick for me few months ago. The problem is that you won't find mych help here as I figured out that Apex geeks here either did not do much webservices or ended up hating it as i do :) . This is an error that can be due many different reason, let me ask you this:
1- Does your the other system you are trying to call through webservices using HTTPS ?
2- If yes, did you create a valid oracle wallet for that https connection ?
3- Make sure you are using the correct URL ( am sure you do, just double check )
4- If using a proxy, then you have to define that in the web service reference creation page

Creating an image file from cd

Good day,
I was wondering how if anyone knows a way to create an ISO image from a cd to run on virtual box. I tried creating one using disk utility, but it did not work. Can this be done through Snow Leopard default programs, or would I need to purchase a new prog?
Tried searching google, but the article I followed was the failed attempt. Did this fail due to copy protection? Before I got rid of my windows pc, I was able to make a copy of the cd, but that would not work either.
The end result would be to mount the iso file on virtual box so I can install age of mythology (Titans expansion) on my XP host. (I know that there is an age of mythology for mac, but its not the latest version, and Virtual box has beta direct X and 3d support).

Okay. Thanks for trying Perhaps I can pay for the Mac version when I have the cash, then perhaps in a few months/years when enough people have bought the original, they will make the expansion ready on mac as well. And I suppose there is always boot camp.

are you using Universe for your report..if Yes..pls try below option.
Create two objects in the universe
Object1 syntax: current date() (Note:this object you can create at webi level)
Object 2 syntax:addmonths(sysdate;-2)
Now create a alert in webi report by using below conditions
Day is less than Object1
and
Day is greater than Object2
Please try this and let me know if any issues.

Creating pdf in color from Illustrator

When I try to create a pdf file from a color illustration in Illustrator CS5 (print Adobe pdf printer) I get only black and white version? How can I get the color version?
It was working satisfactorily for many months but only from yesterday (Sept. 22) this problem has come up.

Is the preview icon in b&w or the actual file after you open. There were problems in the past on macs with the preview icon being incorrect an OS upgrade resolved.
Which PDF preset are you using? Check your destination colorspace & color conversion.
