Just bought a new computer (old one fell off the kitchen table). I was able to download iTunes and retrieve only my purchased music?? In addition, I my 20 or so playlists are not available. Do I have to set-up all these playlists again??? Please help!!!

The playlists you made were stored in the iTunes library on the hard drive of the original PC. If you have no back up of your old library to restore from then you have to redo everything on your new computer.

You can't do either of those. If you want to preserve the original you need to do that work on your Mac.
Photos sent from iPhoto to your iPad via iTunes are optimised for the iPad screen, and are lower quality.

Apple has a site for new users. Use it. Also, David Pogue is an excellent tech writer who has penned a series called the Missing Manual. I assume you've come to the Mac from the Windows world and he's written one especially for switchers. On your iPhone, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage. There you should be able to see how much of your used storage is allocated to different things (ex., iphone backup, ipad backup, mail). From there you should be able to figure out what is going on.

there is a good chance that this can be related to bad contact in USB lead.. e.g not enough power from IPOD to PC so that pc cannot recognise it. Where I work I get alot of USB devices on pc's that are not recognised and most of the time it is the connection to the device that is not good enough because the flat end of the USB adapter has been gradually bent over time just slightly and now contact is not good. It can also be todo with drivers or If you are using it through a USB hub.
so if it is not working through USB hub try direct. also try in back of PC as these Ports or direct access to main board to pc and would be less trouble some if there was a voltage loss from mainboard in pc to front of unit.

Why are my tools like brush, eraser, pencil (basically any that you would use to make a smooth motion that would affect the layers) is not working and acts as if I clicked once and let go. I have checked spacing and reset tools and brushes. Please help!

I haven't had issues with this in the past and I've checked the different modes the layers are in as well as the brushes are in. I've also checked spacing to make sure it isn't wrong. An example of what it is doing, would be to use the brush tool and try to draw a circle. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue but the tool only makes a dot as if I quickly pressed and released tool, but I'm holding down to draw the image. All tools that do similar functions such as blur, eraser, pencil, paint are doing the same thing.... Please help!!

Also I am confused, how do I get the client to get information sent from my server to it, since it is not listening (and store it into a string)
I really just want a bare bones code to
have A Master Server that Can recieve Multiple Connections
That Master Server Needs to be able to get messages from each user connected to it
The Master Server Needs to be able to send Messages to each user connected to it
each user (client) needs to be able to recieve and show messages recieved from the master server!
That really sums it up - I need to stream line the network code. I need to focus on the actual card game itself!
Please Help!!!!

3 - Master Server Accepts the Connect
4 - The Client will automatically send their login info as a string to the Master Server
5 - Master Server Will check the string and get user info - if the Info is correct then the Master Server will send a message to the Client as a string letting it know it is connected

7 - Master Server Will put Player in a list as An Available Player

I suggest you search the net until you find something that sounds like it may be able to do what you want to do.

Firefox 6.0.2 keeps crashing on both of my computers every few minutes. PLEASE HELP!

I have firefox 6.02. It started crashing on my desktop several days ago after the update. It started crashing on my laptop yesterday, a few days after the update. I have Windows XP on my desktop and Windows 7 on my laptop. Both are HP. I upgraded to the 7.0 beta today but it is still crashing on both computers. The crashes are happening every few minutes. McAfee has not found anything. Please help. I am ready to switch to chrome.

I have firefox 6.02. It started crashing on my desktop several days ago after the update. It started crashing on my laptop yesterday, a few days after the update. I have Windows XP on my desktop and Windows 7 on my laptop. Both are HP. I upgraded to the 7.0 beta today but it is still crashing on both computers. The crashes are happening every few minutes. McAfee has not found anything. Please help. I am ready to switch to chrome.

Airport not available on MacBook Pro 15 unibody mid 2009, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Ok, so I just recently put in a new hard drive and battery by myself, since my original MacBook Pro hard drive became "corrupted" most likely due to a parallel desktop software I was using. Anyway so I finally install everything on the new hard drive and airport is not working. The icon is NOT EVEN THERE on the menu bar. I go into Network and the only thing I've got is Ethernet and Firewall. I've tried the "+" thing, and it didn't work. I then went into "Assist Me" , then "Diagnostics" and the airport option is greyed out, so is the external modem. Oh, and the operating system is Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.3. Has a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor.
I also deleted the "SystemConfiguration" Folder and found something interesting. The "com.apple.airport.preferences.plist" was never there and when I reboot, the "com.apple.network.identification.plist" also disappeared. I had to drag it back into the folder from the desktop where I put a copy just in case something weird happened, which it did.
I checked System Profiler, clicked on AirPort and it gives me stuff under "Software Versions", so I'm guessing it's acknowledging that THERE IS a card and can give me all the information for it, but I can't get the mac to use it. I reset the PRAM AND SMC and still nothin.
So, I figured it must be hardware, right? So I open the mac like i did when I installed the new hard drive and battery, and I CANNOT FIND THE DARN AIRPORT CARD. On the mid 2010 models it's with the bluetooth card at the top and I've tried looking online for ANYONE, who has tried to get to the airport card on the mid 2009 model for the MacBook Pro 15 unibody. And found nothing. I think it's in the clutch, but I'm too scared to touch that area. Does anyone else have any ideas or have I covered all my bases?
I REALLY DO NOT want to go to Apple. I don't have AppleCare and don't have the money to have them poke around and tell me the same thing I already know. And I spent way too much on this computer to not be able to use it to full capacity. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
